| 1 | Macroporous Ni foam-supported Co_3O_4 nanobrush and nanomace hybrid arrays for high-efficiency CO oxidation显示文摘Herein, we reported the synthesis of well-defined Co_3O_4 nanoarrays(NAs) supported on a monolithic three-dimensional macroporous nickel(Ni) foam substrate for use in highefficiency CO oxidation. The monolithic Co_3O_4 NAs catalysts were obtained through a generic hydrothermal synthesis route with subsequent calcination. By controlling the reaction time,solvent polarity and deposition agent, these Co_3O_4 NAs catalysts exhibited various novel morphologies(single or hybrid arrays), whose physicochemical properties were further characterized by using several analytical techniques. Based on the catalytic and characterization analyses, it was found that the Co_3O_4 NAs-6 catalyst with nanobrush and nanomace arrays displayed enhanced catalytic activity for CO oxidation, achieving an efficient 100% CO oxidation conversion at a gas hourly space velocity(GHSV) 10,000 hr^(-1) and 150°C with longterm stability. | 3 | Effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation on hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis of patients with depression显示文摘Objective: To investigate the effects of sleep electroencephalogram-modulated repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (SEM-rTMS) and conventional rTMS (C-rTMS) on the activity of hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis in patients with depression. Methods: In a double-blind, randomized controlled trial, 164 patients diagnosed with depression were randomized to treatment with SEM-rTMS (n=57), C-rTMS (n=55) or sham rTMS (n=52) for 30 min every day for 10 d. Before and after treatment plasma concentrations of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and cortisol (CORT) were measured, and the 24-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD-24) was used for assessment. Results: The HAMD-24 scores and plasma ACTH and CORT concentrations of these depressive patients before treatment were significantly different from those of the normal control group (P<0.05). The HAMD-24 scores and plasma ACTH and CORT concentrations in the SEM-r TMS group and conventional rTMS group were decreased significantly (P<0.05). There was a significant positive correlation between the HAMD-24 scores and plasma ACTH (n=240, r=0.105, P=0.048) and CORT concentrations (n=240, r=0.126, P=0.023) in the patients with depression before and after treatment. Conclusion: The antidepressant effect of rTMS, including SEM-rTMS, may be related to its decreasing HPA axis activity. (This trail was registered. | 4 | Paleoecology of Oligocarpia gothanii Halle from the Middle Permian of Southeastern Shanxi,North China显示文摘Fossil ferns are abundant and diverse in the Permian Cathaysian Flora of Shanxi, North China. Although plants assemblages of the Carboniferous and Permian have been extensively investigated, their palaeoecology and especially the paleoecology of ferns has not been studied in detail. Recent reinvestigation of Oligocarpia gothanii has revealed its growth habit and cloning reproduction strategy, but most previous studies lack integrated sedimentological and taphonomic data. In this study, new materials of O. gothanii have been collected from a floodplain setting in the middle Permian Lower Shihhotse Formation of southeastern Shanxi. These plant fossils were found in a lenticular claystone associated with rooting structures. They are characterized by aphlebia at the base of the penultimate rachis. Sedimentological, taphonomic and morphological analyses were conducted to understand the growth habit and ecology of the fern. | 9 | Change of Low-level Jet in a Heavy Rainstorm Process of Xiangtan in July 2016显示文摘Based on the previous research on the model of rainstorm weather with low-level jet in Xiangtan,using the classification result of radar echo characteristics,the wind profile data provided by new generation of weather radar in Changsha and hourly rainfall data,a thorough study of the heavy rainfall from 2 to 5 July 2016 in Xiangtan was conducted. It was concluded that heavy precipitation had the characteristics of the WPSH pattern of rainstorm with low-level jet at early stage,and then it converted to cold shear jet pattern in latter stage. When low-level southwest jet began to have momentum download,that is to say,there was more than 12 m/s of southwest jet below 1 km,and it rapidly strengthened and expanded downward,it was conducive to the occurrence of short-term rainstorm. The low-level jet would not immediately cause a strong precipitation when it reached the station,with a certain lag. This process realized the trifluoroethoxylation ofnon-activated sp^(3) C–H by a domino approach for the first time, without requiring the preparation of substrates with halogens or guiding groups. The formed α,β-unsaturated-γ-butyrolactams can be furtherfunctionalized via the Michael addition reaction or realize the exchange of the trifluoroethoxy group tothe hexafluoroisopropoxy group. Such compounds exhibit anti-tumor activity in vitro and can be used ashit compounds for further research. | 11 | GRK2 mediated degradation of SAV1 initiates hyperplasia of fibroblast-like synoviocytes in rheumatoid arthritis显示文摘Hyperplasia and migration of fibroblast-like synoviocytes(FLSs)are the key drivers in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis(RA)and joint destruction.Abundant Yes-associated protein(YAP),which is a powerful transcription co-activator for proliferative genes,was observed in the nucleus of inflammatory FLSs with unknown upstream mechanisms.Using Gene Expression Omnibus database analysis,it was found that Salvador homolog-1(SAV1),the pivotal negative regulator of the Hippo-YAP pathway,was slightly downregulated in RA synovium.However,SAV1 protein expression is extremely reduced.Subsequently,it was revealed that SAV1 is phosphorylated,ubiquitinated,and degraded by interacting with an important serine-threonine kinase,G protein-coupled receptor(GPCR)kinase 2(GRK2),which was predominately upregulated by GPCR activation induced by ligands such as prostaglandin E2(PGE2)in RA.This process further contributes to the decreased phosphorylation,nuclear translocation,and transcriptional potency of YAP,and leads to aberrant FLSs proliferation.Genetic depletion of GRK2 or inhibition of GRK2 by paroxetine rescued SAV1 expression and restored YAP phosphorylation and finally inhibited RA FLSs proliferation and migration.Similarly,paroxetine treatment effectively reduced the abnormal proliferation of FLSs in a rat model of collagen-induced arthritis which was accompanied by a significant improvement in clinical manifestations.Collectively,these results elucidate the significance of GRK2 regulation of Hippo-YAP signaling in FLSs proliferation and migration and the potential application of GRK2 inhibition in the treatment of FLSs-driven joint destruction in RA. | Paipai Guo Ji Jiang Rui Chu Feng He Mingli Ge Ruhong Fang Qiuyun Guan Huijuan Cheng Chunru Jiang Tiantian Su Zhenduo Zhu Hao Liu Wei Wei Shihao Zhang Qingtong Wang | 2024 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2024,14,3: | 0 |
| 12 | Carbon productivity convergence club and its initial conditions: China's construction industry显示文摘A three-stage method is proposed to study the convergence clubs for the dynamic total factor carbon productivity (DCP) and the initial conditions. The first stage is to measure the DCP that reflects the initial difference. The second stage is to identify the convergence club of DCP. The last stage is to examine the initial factors that may affect the formation of the convergence club. Construction industry data from 30 provinces in China's Mainland from 2005 to 2016 were adopted to conduct an empirical study. The empirical results showed that (1) the arithmetic mean value of China’s provincial DCP showed an upward trend and the standard deviation showed an expanding trend.(2) There are five convergence clubs, but 13 provinces failed to converge to any club.(3) The higher the degree of construction industry marketization in 2005, the greater the probability that the provinces belong to a club with higher DCP. To improve the DCP, the effective diffusion of low-carbon construction technologies and the market-oriented reform of state-owned construction companies should be promoted. | 13 | Effects of Zr substitution on soot combustion over cubic fluorite-structured nanoceria:Soot-ceria contact and interfacial oxygen evolution显示文摘Ceria is widely used as a catalyst for soot combustion,but effects of Zr substitution on the reaction mechanism is ambiguous.The present work elucidates effects of Zr substitution on soot combustion over cubic fluorite-structured nanoceria.The nanostructured CeO_(2),Ce_(0.92)Zr_(0.08)O_(2),and Ce_(0.84)Zr_(0.16)O_(2)composed of 5-6 nm crystallites display T_(m-CO2)(the temperature at maximum CO_2 yield)at 383,355,and 375℃under 10 vol.%O_(2)/N_(2),respectively.The size of agglomerate decreases from 165.5 to 51.9-57.3 nm,which is beneficial for the sootceria contact.Moreover,Zr increases the amount of surface oxygen vacancies,generating more active oxygen(O_(2)^-and O^(-))for soot oxidation.Thus,the activities of Ce_(0.92)Zr_(0.08)O_(2)and Ce_(0.84)Zr_(0.16)O_(2)in soot combustion are better than that of CeO_(2).Although oxygen vacancies promote the migration of lattice O~(2-),the enriched surface Zr also inhibits the mobility of lattice O^(2-).Therefore,the T_(m-CO2)of Ce_(0.84)Zr_(0.1)6 O_(2)is higher than that of Ce_(0.92)Zr_(0.08)O_(2).Based on reaction kinetic study,soot in direct contact with ceria preferentially decomposes with low activation energy,while the oxidation of isolated soot occurs through diffusion with high activation energy.The obtained findings provide new understanding on the soot combustion over nanoceria. | Peng Liu Xiaoliang Liang Yanliu Dang Junkai He Alireza Shirazi-Amin Laura A.Achola Shanka Dissanayake Hanlin Chen Mingli Fu Daiqi Ye Steven L.Suib | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,3: | 0 |
