1Effects of dietary supplementation of Artemisia argyi aqueous extract on antioxidant indexes of small intestine in broilers显示文摘The present study was conducted to investigate the effect of Artemisia argyi aqueous extract(AAE) on antioxidant indexes in the small intestine. A total of 192 Arbor Acre broiler chickens(one-day-old) were randomly divided into 4 treatments with 6 replicates of 8 chickens. These 4 diets were formulated by adding 0, 500,1,000 and 2,000 mg/kg AAE to the basal diet. The results showed as follows: 1) compared with the control, the total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC) in ileum for the 2,000 mg/kg treatment group was significantly increased at 21 days of age(P < 0.05); the T-AOC levels in jejunum and ileum were significantly increased in broilers supplemented with 500 mg/kg AAE at 42 days of age(P < 0.05), and the T-AOC levels in jejunum and ileum were significantly improved in 1,000 mg/kg treatment group(P < 0.01), 2) At 21 days of age, supplementation of 500 mg/kg AAE significantly increased the catalase(CAT) activity of small intestine, and the glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px) activity of jejunum was improved(P < 0.01), meanwhile, the GSH-Px activity of duodenum and the total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD) activity of duodenum and jejunum were significantly higher than those of the control group(P < 0.05); supplementation of 1,000 mg/kg AAE significantly increased the CAT activity of duodenum and ileum and the GSH-Px activity of duodenum and jejunum(P < 0.05), and the ileum GSH-Px activity was significantly increased(P < 0.01); supplementation of 2,000 mg/kg AAE significantly increased the CAT activity of duodenum and ileum(P < 0.05). At 42 days of age, supplementation of 500 mg/kg AAE significantly increased the GSH-Px activity of ileum and the T-SOD activity of duodenum(P < 0.05),meanwhile, the T-SOD activity of jejunum was significantly increased(P < 0.01); supplementation of1,000 mg/kg AAE significantly increased the CAT activity of jejunum and the T-SOD activity of ileum(P < 0.01), and the GSH-Px activity of jejunum was significantly increased(P < 0.05); supplementation of2,000 mg/kg AAE significantly increased the T-SOD activity of ileum(P < 0.05), but significantly decreased the CAT activity of ileum and the GSH-Px activity of jejunum(P < 0.05). 3) The malondialdehyde(MDA) levels of 3 AAE supplementation groups were significantly decreased at 21 and 42 days of age(P < 0.05). 9Fabricating multi-porous carbon anode with remarkable initial coulombic efficiency and enhanced rate capability for sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Due to the abundant sodium reserves and high safety,sodium ion batteries(SIBs)are foreseen a promising future.While,hard carbon materials are very suitable for the anode of SIBs owing to their structure and cost advantages.However,the unsatisfactory initial coulombic efficiency(ICE)is one of the crucial blemishes of hard carbon materials and the slow sodium storage kinetics also hinders their wide application.Herein,with spherical nano SiO_(2)as pore-forming agent,gelatin and polytetrafluoroethylene as carbon sources,a multi-porous carbon(MPC)material can be easily obtained via a co-pyrolysis method,by which carbonization and template removal can be achieved synchronously without the assistance of strong acids or strong bases.As a result,the MPC anode exhibited remarkable ICE of 83%and a high rate capability(208 m Ah/g at 5 A/g)when used in sodium-ion half cells.Additionally,coupling with Na3V2(PO4)3as the cathode to assemble full cells,the as-fabricated MPC//NVP full cell delivered a good rate capability(146 m Ah/g at 5 A/g)as well,implying a good application prospect the MPC anode has.Yong Tong Yuanji Wu Zihao Liu Yongshi Yin Yingjuan Sun Hongyan Li 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,1:2

11Expression Profile and Function Analysis of Long Non-coding RNAs in the Infection of Coxsackievirus B3显示文摘The roles of IncRNAs in the infection of enteroviruses have been barely demonstrated.In this study,we used coxsackievirus B3(CVB3),a typical enterovirus,as a model to investigate the expression profiles and functional roles of IncRNAs in enterovirus infection.We profiled IncRNAs and mRNA expression in CVB3-infected HeLa cells by IncRNA-mRNA integrated microarrays.As a result,700 differentially expressed IncRNAs(431 up-regulated and 269 down-regulated)and 665 differentially expressed mRNAs(299 up-regulated and 366 down-regulated)were identified in CVB3 infection.Then we performed IncRNA-mRNA integrated pathway analysis to identify potential functional impacts of the differentially expressed mRNAs,in which IncRNA-mRNA correlation network was built.According to IncRNA-mRNA correlation,we found that XLOC-001188,an IncRNA down-regulated in CVB3 infection,was negatively correlated with NFAT5 mRNA,an anti-CVB3 gene reported previously.This interaction was supported by qPCR detection following siRNA-mediated knockdown of XLOC-001188,which showed an increase of NFAT5 mRNA and a reduction of CVB3 genomic RNA.In addition,we observed that four most significantly altered IncRNAs,SNHG11,RP11-145F16.2,RP11-1023L17.1 and RP11-1021N1.2 share several common correlated genes critical for CVB3 infection,such as BRE and IRF2BP1.In all,our studies reveal the alteration of IncRNA expression in CVB3 infection and its potential influence on CVB3 replication,providing useful information for future studies of enterovirus infection.Lei Tong Ye Qiu Hui Wang Yunyue Qu Yuanbo Zhao Lexun Lin Yan Wang Weizhen Xu Wenran Zhao Hongyan He Guangze Zhao Mary HZhang Decheng Yang Xingyi Ge Zhaohua Zhong 2019Virologica Sinica2019,34,6:2
12High Capacity and Fast Kinetics of Potassium‑Ion Batteries Boosted by Nitrogen‑Doped Mesoporous Carbon Spheres显示文摘In view of rich potassium resources and their working potential,potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)are deemed as next generation rechargeable batteries.Owing to carbon materials with the preponderance of durability and economic price,they are widely employed in PIBs anode materials.Currently,porosity design and heteroatom doping as efficacious improvement strategies have been applied to the structural design of carbon materials to improve their electrochemical performances.Herein,nitrogen-doped mesoporous carbon spheres(MCS)are synthesized by a facile hard template method.The MCS demonstrate larger interlayer spacing in a short range,high specific surface area,abundant mesoporous structures and active sites,enhancing K-ion migration and diffusion.Furthermore,we screen out the pyrolysis temperature of 900°C and the pore diameter of 7 nm as optimized conditions for MCS to improve performances.In detail,the optimized MCS-7-900 electrode achieves high rate capacity(107.9 mAh g^(−1) at 5000 mA g^(−1))and stably brings about 3600 cycles at 1000 mA g^(−1).According to electrochemical kinetic analysis,the capacitive-controlled effects play dominant roles in total storage mechanism.Additionally,the full-cell equipped MCS-7-900 as anode is successfully constructed to evaluate the practicality of MCS.Jiefeng Zheng Yuanji Wu Yong Tong Xi Liu Yingjuan Sun Hongyan Li Li Niu 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,11:2
13Item-level Forecasting for E-commerce Demand with High-dimensional Data Using a Two-stage Feature Selection Algorithm显示文摘With the rapid development of information technology and fast growth of Internet users,e-commerce nowadays is facing complex business environment and accumulating large-volume and highdimensional data.This brings two challenges for demand forecasting.First,e-merchants need to find appropriate approaches to leverage the large amount of data and extract forecast features to capture various factors affecting the demand.Second,they need to efficiently identify the most important features to improve the forecast accuracy and better understand the key drivers for demand changes.To solve these challenges,this study conducts a multi-dimensional feature engineering by constructing five feature categories including historical demand,price,page view,reviews,and competition for e-commerce demand forecasting on item-level.We then propose a two-stage random forest-based feature selection algorithm to effectively identify the important features from the high-dimensional feature set and avoid overfittlng.We test our proposed algorithm with a large-scale dataset from the largest e-commerce platform in China.The numerical results from 21,111 items and 109 million sales observations show that our proposed random forest-based forecasting framework with a two-stage feature selection algorithm delivers 11.58%,5.81%and 3.68%forecast accuracy improvement,compared with the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average(ARIMA),Random Forecast,and Random Forecast with one-stage feature selection approach,respectively,which are widely used in literature and industry.This study provides a useful tool for the practitioners to forecast demands and sheds lights on the B2C e-commerce operations management.Hongyan Dai Qin Xiao Nina Yan Xun Xu Tingting Tong 2022Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering2022,31,2:1

19Antagonistic Effects of Sphingomonas and Pseudomonas aeruginosa on 4 Kinds of Pathogenic Bacteria of Ginseng显示文摘[Objectives]To explore effective biocontrol methods for diseases in the process of ginseng cultivation,and develop an efficient and environmentally friendly biocontrol agent.[Methods]In this study,2 strains were isolated from biogas slurry,and Cylindrocarpon destructans(XF),Fusarium solani(GF),Botrytis cinerea Pers(HM)and Alternaria panax Whetz(HB)were used as test materials.The strains were isolated and identified by dilution plate method,16S rDNA sequence identification method,confrontation culture method,filter paper method and ultraviolet spectrophotometer method,and the bacteriostatic activity and bacteriostatic rate were tested.[Results]Strain 15(Sphingomonas)and strain 19(Pseudomonas aeruginosa)were screened out through identification and analysis,and they grew stably within 8-10 d.The bacteriostatic rates of strain 15 against A.panax and B.cinerea were 47.37%and 43.40%,respectively,and the bacteriostatic rates of strain 19 against A.panax and B.cinerea were 62.30%and 63.27%,respectively.The bacteriostatic activity of the extract of strain 19 increased with the increase of OD_(600) value,and the bacteriostatic effect was optimal when the OD_(600) value was in the range of 0.8-1.0,up to 70%,so it had a strong biocontrol potential.[Conclusions]This experiment provides convenience for more effective inoculation,establishes a fast,simple and accurate method for the determination of the best bacteriostatic rate of P.aeruginosa culture solution to HM,and lays a foundation for large-scale culture of P.aeruginosa culture solution.Besides,it is expected to provide a theoretical basis for the efficient control of ginseng B.cinerea in field production,use it for the prevention and control of ginseng shoot diseases,and provide a reference for the efficient and diverse development of biocontrol agents for ginseng shoot diseases.Hairu YU Feifan YAN Yunlong WANG Xinying TONG Di CHEN Qiang YE Renzhe PIAO Hongyan ZHAO 2022Asian Agricultural Research2022,14,5:1
