| 1 | Remaining Useful Life Model and Assessment of Mechanical Products: A Brief Review and a Note on the State Space Model Method显示文摘The remaining useful life(RUL) prediction of mechanical products has been widely studied for online system performance reliability, device remanufacturing, and product safety(safety awareness and safety improvement). These studies incorporated many di erent models, algorithms, and techniques for modeling and assessment. In this paper, methods of RUL assessment are summarized and expounded upon using two major methods: physics model based and data driven based methods. The advantages and disadvantages of each of these methods are deliberated and compared as well. Due to the intricacy of failure mechanism in system, and di culty in physics degradation observation, RUL assessment based on observations of performance variables turns into a science in evaluating the degradation. A modeling method from control systems, the state space model(SSM), as a first order hidden Markov, is presented. In the context of non-linear and non-Gaussian systems, the SSM methodology is capable of performing remaining life assessment by using Bayesian estimation(sequential Monte Carlo). Being e ective for non-linear and non-Gaussian dynamics, the methodology can perform the assessment recursively online for applications in CBM(condition based maintenance), PHM(prognostics and health management), remanufacturing, and system performance reliability. | 2 | Effect of suppressing dust by multi-direction whirling air curtain on fully mechanized mining face显示文摘A combined method of numerical simulation and field testing was adopted in this study in the interest of solving the problem of hard to control high concentrate dusts on a fully mechanized mining face.In addition,the dust suppression effect of a multi-direction whirling air curtain was studied in this paper.Under the influence of the wall attachment effect,the compressed air which blows out from the two-phase or three-phase radial outlets on the generator of the air curtain can form a multi-direction whirling air curtain,which can cover the whole roadway section of a fully mechanized mining face.The traditional method of controlling dust is a forcing system with exhaust overlap which has the major disadvantage of lacking a jet effect and consequently results in poor dust control.It is difficult to form the air flow field within the range of L_p5Sr^(1/2).However,due to the effect of this novel system,the radial airflow can be turned into axial airflow allowing fresh air to flow through the length of the heading.The air flow field which is good at controlling dust diffusion can be formed 12.8 m from the heading face.Furthermore,the field measurement results show that before the application of a multi-direction whirling air curtain,the dust concentration is 348.6 mg/m^3 and 271.4 mg/m^3 respectively at the roadway cross-section measurement points which are 5 m and 10 m from the heading face.However,after the application of the multi-direction whirling air curtain,the dust concentration is only 61.2 mg/m^3 and 14.8 mg/m^3,respectively.Therefore,the dust control effect of a multi-direction whirling air curtain is obvious. | Nie Wen Liu Yanghao Wei Wenle Hu Xiangming Ma Xiao Peng Huitian | 2016 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,4: | 6 |
| 3 | Study about thermal runaway behavior of high specific energy density Li-ion batteries in a low state of charge显示文摘Lithium-ion batteries are widely used in electric vehicles and electronics, and their thermal safety receives widespread attention from consumers. In our study, thermal runaway testing was conducted on the thermal stability of commercial lithium-ion batteries, and the internal structure of the battery was analyzed with an in-depth focus on the key factors of the thermal runaway. | 4 | Hydrogen Bonding-Assisted Synthesis of Silica/Oxidized Mesocarbon Microbeads Encapsulated in Amorphous Carbon as Stable Anode for Optimized/Enhanced Lithium Storage显示文摘The practical application of silica-based composites as an alternative to commercial graphite anode materials is hampered by their large volumetric expansion,poor conductivity,and low Coulombic efficiency.In this work,a novel silica/oxidized mesocarbon microbead/amorphous carbon(SiO2/O’MCMB/C)hierarchical structure in which SiO2 is sandwiched between spherical graphite and amorphous carbon shell was succes sfully fabricated through hydrogen bonding-assisted self-assembly and post-carbon coating method.The obtained three-layer hierarchical structure effectively accommodates the volumetric expansion of SiO2 and significantly enhances the electronic conductivity of composite materials.Moreover,the outer layer of amorphous carbon effectively increases the diffusion rate of lithium ions and promotes the formation of stable SEI film.As a result,the SiO2/O’MCMB/C composite exhibits superior electrochemical performance with a reversible capacity of 459.5 mA h/g in the first cycle,and the corresponding Coulombic efficiency is 62.8%.After 300 cycles,the capacity climbs to around 600 mA h/g.This synthetic route provides an efficient method for preparing SiO2 supported on graphite with excellent electrochemical performance,which is likely to promote its commercial applications. | Zongjie Cao Huitian Liu Wenlong Huang Peng Chen Yuansheng Liu Yu Yu Zhongqiang Shan Shuxian Meng | 2020 | Transactions of Tianjin University2020,26,1: | 2 |

| 8 | New materials and designs for 2D-based infrared photodetectors显示文摘Infrared photodetectors have attracted much attention considering their wide civil and military applications.Two-dimensional(2D)materials offer new opportunities for the development of costless,high-level integration and high-performance infrared photodetectors.With the advent of a broad investigation of infrared photodetectors based on graphene and transition metal chalcogenides(TMDs)exhibiting unique properties in recent decades,research on the better performance of 2D-based infrared photodetectors has been extended to a larger scale,including explorations of new materials and artificial structure designs.In this review,after a brief background introduction,some major working mechanisms,including the photovoltaic effect,photoconductive effect,photogating effect,photothermoelectric effect and bolometric effect,are briefly offered.Then,the discussion mainly focuses on the recent progress of three categories of 2D materials beyond graphene and TMDs.Noble transition metal dichalcogenides,black phosphorus and arsenic black phosphorous and 2D ternary compounds are great examples of explorations of mid-wavelength or even long-wavelength 2D infrared photodetectors.Then,four types of rational structure designs,including type-II band alignments,photogating-enhanced designs,surface plasmon designs and ferroelectric-enhanced designs,are discussed to further enhance the performance via diverse mechanisms,which involve the narrower-bandgap-induced interlayer exciton transition,gate modulation by trapped carriers,surface plasmon polaritons and ferroelectric polarization in sequence.Furthermore,applications including imaging,flexible devices and on-chip integration for 2D-based infrared photodetectors are introduced.Finally,a summary of the state-of-the-art research status and personal discussion on the challenges are delivered. | Huitian Guo Weihong Qi | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,2: | 1 |

| 14 | Correlation between acne and Northwest dryness syndrome in Xinjiang autonomous region of China显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To analyze the correlation between acne and Northwest dryness syndrome in the Xinjiang region to provide an epidemiological foundation for the prevention and treatment of acne in the region. METHODS: The correlations among acne, clinical syndromes of Northwest dryness syndrome, and Northwest dryness syndrome were evaluated using the syndrome fitness index and canonical correlation analysis. RESULTS: The acne group had a Northwest dryness syndrome rate of 24.13%, and the control group 10.34%(χ2=7.733, P<0.01). There was no significant difference in the fitness index for acne and for the sub-syndromes of Northwest dryness syndrome(P> 0.05). The first canonical correlation coefficient was 0.5656(P<0.01). The acne-dependent variable group had the largest damp-heat syndrome load(0.8709), and the independent variable had the largest lung-heart-spleen pyretic dryness load(0.6766). CONCLUSION: Northwest dryness syndrome is a risk factor for acne in the Xinjiang region. Exogenous dryness and endogenous damp are frequently seen as subsyndromes in Northwest dryness syndrome in acne patients in the region. | 20 | Immensely enhanced color-adjustable upconversion fluorescence in electron donor-acceptor exciplex chromophores doped with fluorescent emitters显示文摘Two-photon excited fluorescence materials usually suffer from inefficient two-photon absorption(TPA) and nonradiative excited states. Here, upconversion fluorescence in an electron donor-acceptor(DA) exciplex doped with fluorescent emitters are systematically investigated. It has been found that the undoped DA exciplex exhibits enhancements of ~129% and ~365% in upconversion fluorescence compared to donor-and acceptor-only systems, respectively. Interestingly, photoluminescence quantum yields(PLQYs) up to ~98.65% were measured and immensely enhanced upconversion fluorescence was observed after doping various fluorescent emitters into the DA exciplex. Our results reveal the existence of two-photon excited energy harvesting in a thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF) DA exciplex doped with fluorescent emitters, via reverse intersystem crossing followed by rapid F?rster resonance energy transfer.
