| 1 | Evidence of crustal ‘channel flow’ in the eastern margin of Tibetan Plateau from MT measurements显示文摘Magnetotelluric (MT) survey has been carried out in the eastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau and its neighboring Shimian-Leshan area, Sichuan Province. Analysis of this MT data reveals that the electric structure of the Tibetan Plateau differ much from that of the Sichuan block. In general, the electric re-sistivity of crust beneath the Sichuan block in the east is larger than that of the eastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau in the west. The crust of the plateau is divided into upper, middle, and lower layers. The middle crust is a low resistivity layer with minimum down to 3―10 Ωm about 10―15 km thick. It pre-sumably contains partial melt and/or salt-bearing fluids with low viscosity, prone to deform and flow, producing a 'channel flow' under the southeastward squeeze of the eastern Tibetan Plateau. This low-resistivity layer makes the upper crust decoupled mechanically from the lower crust. In the brittle upper crust, faults are dominated by left-lateral strike-slip and thrust motions, leading to surface rising and shallow earthquakes. The low-resistivity layer also cut the Xianshuihe-Anninghe fault zone into two sections vertically. | 4 | Progress in quantitative analysis of plant hormones显示文摘Plant hormones are small molecular natural products that regulate all plant developmental processes at low concentrations. Quantitative analysis of plant hormones is increasingly important for in-depth study of their biosynthesis,transport,metabolism and molecular regulatory mechanisms. Although plant hormone analysis remains a bottleneck in plant scientific research owing to the trace concentrations and complex components in plant crude extracts,much progress has been achieved in the development of extraction,purification and detection techniques in recent years. Solid phase extraction and chromatography/mass spectrometry have been applied widely for purification and quantitative analysis of plant hormones owing to their high selectivity and sensitivity. Purification methods such as liquid partition and immunoaffinity chromatography,and detection methods including immunoassay and electrochemical analysis,are employed. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods are discussed. | 5 | Deep electrical structure of the Sulu orogen and neighboring areas显示文摘Because of the discovery of ultrahigh pressure metamorphic (UHPM) belt beneath the Sulu (Jiangsu Province-Shandong Province) orogen, this area has become a focused subject of current geoscience, as it has a close relationship with the evolution of the orogen and the neighboring North China craton. Probing the deep structure beneath this area would be of great significance for the geological inter- pretation of this issue. In this study, we make an analysis of magnetotelluric (MT) data along a profile across the Sulu orogen to provide evidence of deep structure below this region. The profile begins in west from the North China block, extending in S129oE, across the Tan-Lu fault, Sulu UHPM zone, and Sulu high pressure metamorphic (HPM) zone, and terminates in the Yangtze block in east. We use the nonlinear conjugate gradient method and TE-TM combined mode to perform inversion and interpreta- tion of the MT data, and obtain an electrical structure image above depth of 150 km along the profile. It shows that the structure can be divided into seven sections in lateral direction, between which the electric boundaries coincide well with the major faults, such as the Tan-Lu, Haizhou-Siyang, and Ji- ashan-Xiangshui faults. In vertical direction the electrical structure can be subdivided into six layers of different resistivities. It is noted that there exist high-conductivity areas in crust below the North China block and Yangtze block, while such a feature is not present beneath the Sulu orogen, which is very different from the Dabie orogen. It is also observed that a fairly continuous zone of relatively low-resistivity exists at depths of 50-90 km of the electrical structure image, which is presumably a weak zone in the uppermost mantle. Just below this low-resistivity zone are the relatively high- resis- tivity layer of the North China block, relatively low-resistivity layer of the Sulu orogen, and relatively high-resistivity layer of the Yangtze block, all in the shallow upper mantle, respectively. | 8 | Analysis of period doubling bifurcation and chaos mirror of biped passive dynamic robot gait显示文摘With a reasonable parameter configuration,the passive dynamic walking model has a stable,efficient,natural periodic gait,which depends only on gravity and inertia when walking down a slight slope.In fact,there is a delicate balance in the energy conversion in the stable periodic gait,making the gait adjustable by changing the model parameters.Poincaré mapping is combined with Newton-Raphson iteration to obtain the numerical solution of the final state of the passive dynamic walking model.In addition,a simulation on the walking gait of the model is performed by increasing the slope step by step,thereby fixing the model's parameters synchronously.Then,the gait features obtained in the different slope stages are analyzed and discussed,the intrinsic laws are revealed in depth.The results indicate that the gait can present features of a single period,doubling period,the entrance of chaos,merging of sub-bands,and so on,because of the high sensitivity of the passive dynamic walking to the slope.From a global viewpoint,the gait becomes chaotic by way of period doubling bifurcation,with a self-similar Feigenbaum fractal structure in the process.At the entrance of chaos,the gait sequence comprises a Cantor set,and during the chaotic stage,sub-bands in the final-state diagram of the robot system present as a mirror of the period doubling bifurcation. | ZHAO Jie WU XiaoGuang ZANG XiZhe YAN JiHong | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,14: | 4 |

On the basis of energy and information cooperation, an Energy efficiency(EE)maximization non-convex problem for SU is formulated under the PU's Quality of service(QoS) requirement and energy-causality constraint. With the aid of Dinkebalch's method and convex optimization technique, a joint time and power allocation scheme is proposed. | 12 | Competing endogenous RNA screening based on long noncoding RNA-messenger RNA co-expression profile in Hepatitis B virus-associated hepatocarcinogenesis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To profile the liver cancer specific long noncoding RNAs(lnc RNAs) and competing endogenous RNA(ce RNA) networks of Hepatitis B virus(HBV)-associated hepatocarcinogensis(HCG) and to examine the effect of compound K on the expression of identified ce RNA networks.METHODS: Based on lnc RNA and messenger RNA(m RNA) microarray data of HBV-associated liver cancer, the current study profiles the cancer specific lnc RNAs and ce RNA networks of HBV-associated HCG through comprehensive application of Reg RNA 2, mi RTar Base and Pearson correlation coefficient analysis. Compound K-treated liver cancer cells were harvested for analysis of transcriptional levels of both enoyl-Co A hydratase and 3-hydroxyacyl Co A dehydrogenase(EHHADH)-AS1 and ENTPD5.RESULTS: The results revealed that 11 Encyclopedia of DNA Elements annotated lnc RNAs were differentially expressed in the process of HBV-associated HCG. Among these lnc RNAs, 95 potential ce RNA networks with highly positively correlated expression profiles between the interacting lnc RNAs and m RNAs(Pearson correlation coefficient ≥ 0.7) were constructed. Of note, two HBV-associated ce RNA networks, EHHADH-AS1-hsa-mi R-4459-ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 5 and LINC01018-hsa-mi RNA-574-5p-glucose-6-phosphatase catalytic subunit, with Pearson correlation coefficient ≥ 0.9, may play a critical role in hepatocellular carcinoma development, which was supported by experimental evidence. The carbon transfer coefficients (BRE) and mean diffusion coefficient (DRE) were calculated respectively based on the kinetics of the specimens weigh gain per unit area and the carburized layer growth. The results show that the BRE and DRE are all increased on basis of the incorporation of rare earth. In addition, the mathematical models of the carbon concentration profile under different carburizing conditions and the carbon diffusion coefficient DSRE (at x=0 for carburizing time t>0) have been deduced using the profile simulation method. | 17 | Compound Danshen Dripping Pill inhibits hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis-induced heart failure in ApoE and LDLR dual deficient mice via multiple mechanisms显示文摘Heart failure is the leading cause of death worldwide.Compound Danshen Dripping Pill(CDDP)or CDDP combined with simvastatin has been widely used to treat patients with myocardial infarction and other cardiovascular diseases in China.However,the effect of CDDP on hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis-induced heart failure is unknown.We constructed a new model of heart failure induced by hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis in apolipoprotein E(ApoE)and LDL receptor(LDLR)dual deficient(ApoE^(–/–)LDLR^(–/–))mice and investigated the effect of CDDP or CDDP plus a low dose of simvastatin on the heart failure.CDDP or CDDP plus a low dose of simvastatin inhibited heart injury by multiple actions including anti-myocardial dysfunction and anti-fibrosis.Mechanistically,both Wnt and lysine-specific demethylase 4A(KDM4A)pathways were significantly activated in mice with heart injury.Conversely,CDDP or CDDP plus a low dose of simvastatin inhibited Wnt pathway by markedly up-regulating expression of Wnt inhibitors.While the anti-inflammation and anti-oxidative stress by CDDP were achieved by inhibiting KDM4A expression and activity.In addition,CDDP attenuated simvastatin-induced myolysis in skeletal muscle.Taken together,our study suggests that CDDP or CDDP plus a low dose of simvastatin can be an effective therapy to reduce hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis-induced heart failure. | Yanfang Yang Ke Feng Liying Yuan Yuxin Liu Mengying Zhang Kaimin Guo Zequn Yin Wenjia Wang Shuiping Zhou He Sun Kaijing Yan Xijun Yan Xuerui Wang Yajun Duan Yunhui Hu Jihong Han | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,3: | 2 |
