Single-cell RNA-seq data analysis on the receptor ACE2 expression reveals the potential risk of different human organs vulnerable to 2019-nCoV infection显示文摘It has been known that, the novel coronavirus,2019-nCoV,which is considered similar to SARS-CoV,invades human cells via the receptor angiotensin converting enzyme II(ACE2).Moreover,lung cells that have ACE2 expression may be the main target cells during 2019-nCoV infection. However, some patients also exhibit non-respiratory symptoms, such as kidney failure, implying that 2019-nCoV could also invade other organs. To construct a risk map of different human organs,we analyzed the single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)datasets derived from major human physiological systems, including the respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, and urinary systems.Through scRNA-seq data analyses,we identified the organs at risk, such as lung, heart, esophagus, kidney, bladder, and ileum, and located specific cell types(i.e.,type II alveolar cells(AT2),myocardial cells, proximal tubule cells of the kidney, ileum and esophagus epithelial cells, and bladder urothelial cells),which are vulnerable to 2019-nCoV infection.Based on the findings,we constructed a risk map indicating the vulnerability of different organs to 2019-nCoV infection. This study may provide potential clues for further investigation of the pathogenesis and route of 2019-nCoV infection. | Xin Zou Ke Chen Jiawei Zou Peiyi Han Jie Hao Zeguang Han | 2020 | Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,2: | 193
Study of BESIII trigger efficiencies with the 2018 J/ψ data显示文摘Using a dedicated data sample taken in 2018 on the J/ψpeak,we perform a detailed study of the trigger efficiencies of the BESIII detector.The efficiencies are determined from three representative physics processes,namely Bhabha scattering,dimuon production and generic hadronic events with charged particles.The combined efficiency of all active triggers approaches 100%in most cases,with uncertainties small enough not to affect most physics analyses. | M.Ablikim M.N.Achasov P.Adlarson S.Ahmed M.Albrecht R.Aliberti A.Amoroso M.R.An Q.An X.H.Bai Y.Bai O.Bakina R.Baldini Ferroli I.Balossino Y.Ban K.Begzsuren N.Berger M.Bertani D.Bettoni F.Bianchi J.Bloms A.Bortone I.Boyko R.A.Briere H.Cai X.Cai A.Calcaterra G.F.Cao N.Cao S.A.Cetin J.F.Chang W.L.Chang G.Chelkov D.Y.Chen G.Chen H.S.Chen M.L.Chen S.J.Chen X.R.Chen Y.B.Chen Z.J Chen W.S.Cheng G.Cibinetto F.Cossio X.F.Cui H.L.Dai X.C.Dai A.Dbeyssi R.E.de Boer D.Dedovich Z.Y.Deng A.Denig I.Denysenko M.Destefanis F.De Mori Y.Ding C.Dong J.Dong L.Y.Dong M.Y.Dong X.Dong S.X.Du Y.L.Fan J.Fang S.S.Fang Y.Fang R.Farinelli L.Fava F.Feldbauer G.Felici C.Q.Feng J.H.Feng M.Fritsch C.D.Fu Y.Gao Y.Gao Y.Gao Y.G.Gao I.Garzia P.T.Ge C.Geng E.M.Gersabeck A Gilman K.Goetzen L.Gong W.X.Gong W.Gradl M.Greco L.M.Gu M.H.Gu S.Gu Y.T.Gu C.Y Guan A.Q.Guo L.B.Guo R.P.Guo Y.P.Guo A.Guskov T.T.Han W.Y.Han X.Q.Hao F.A.Harris H Hüsken K.L.He F.H.Heinsius C.H.Heinz T.Held Y.K.Heng C.Herold M.Himmelreich T.Holtmann Y.R.Hou Z.L.Hou H.M.Hu J.F.Hu T.Hu Y.Hu G.S.Huang L.Q.Huang X.T.Huang Y.P.Huang Z.Huang T.Hussain W.Ikegami Andersson W.Imoehl M.Irshad S.Jaeger S.Janchiv Q.Ji Q.P.Ji X.B.Ji X.L.Ji H.B.Jiang X.S.Jiang J.B.Jiao Z.Jiao S.Jin Y.Jin T.Johansson N.Kalantar-Nayestanaki X.S.Kang R.Kappert M.Kavatsyuk B.C.Ke I.K.Keshk A.Khoukaz P.Kiese R.Kiuchi R.Kliemt L.Koch O.B.Kolcu B.Kopf M.Kuemmel M.Kuessner A.Kupsc M.G.Kurth W.Kühn J.J.Lane J.S.Lange P.Larin A.Lavania L.Lavezzi Z.H.Lei H.Leithoff M.Lellmann T.Lenz C.Li C.H.Li Cheng Li D.M.Li F.Li G.Li H.Li H.Li H.B.Li H.J.Li J.L.Li J.Q.Li J.S.Li Ke Li L.K.Li Lei Li P.R.Li S.Y.Li W.D.Li W.G.Li X.H.Li X.L.Li Z.Y.Li H.Liang H.Liang H.Liang Y.F.Liang Y.T.Liang L.Z.Liao J.Libby C.X.Lin B.J.Liu C.X.Liu D.Liu F.H.Liu Fang Liu Feng Liu H.B.Liu H.M.Liu Huanhuan Liu Huihui Liu J.B.Liu J.L.Liu J.Y.Liu K.Liu K.Y.Liu Ke Liu L.Liu M.H.Liu P.L.Liu Q.Liu Q.Liu S.B.Liu Shuai Liu T.Liu W.M.Liu X.Liu Y.Liu Y.B.Liu Z.A.Liu Z.Q.Liu X.C.Lou F.X.Lu H.J.Lu J.D.Lu J.G.Lu X.L.Lu Y.Lu Y.P.Lu C.L.Luo M.X.Luo b P.W.Luo T.Luo X.L.Luo S.Lusso X.R.Lyu F.C.Ma H.L.Ma L.L.Ma M.M.Ma Q.M.Ma R.Q.Ma R.T.Ma X.X.Ma X.Y.Ma F.E.Maas M.Maggiora S.Maldaner S.Malde Q.A.Malik A.Mangoni Y.J.Mao Z.P.Mao S.Marcello Z.X.Meng J.G.Messchendorp G.Mezzadri T.J.Min R.E.Mitchell X.H.Mo Y.J.Mo N.Yu.Muchnoi H.Muramatsu S.Nakhoul Y.Nefedov F.Nerling I.B.Nikolaev Z.Ning S.Nisar S.L.Olsen Q.Ouyang S.Pacetti X.Pan Y.Pan A.Pathak P.Patteri M.Pelizaeus H.P.Peng K.Peters J.Pettersson J.L.Ping R.G.Ping R.Poling V.Prasad H.Qi H.R.Qi K.H.Qi M.Qi T.Y.Qi T.Y.Qi S.Qian W.-B.Qian Z.Qian C.F.Qiao L.Q.Qin X.S.Qin Z.H.Qin J.F.Qiu S.Q.Qu K.H.Rashid K.Ravindran C.F.Redmer A.Rivetti V.Rodin M.Rolo G.Rong Ch.Rosner M.Rump H.S.Sang A.Sarantsev Y.Schelhaas C.Schnier K.Schoenning M.Scodeggio D.C.Shan W.Shan X.Y.Shan J.F.Shangguan M.Shao C.P.Shen P.X.Shen X.Y.Shen H.C.Shi R.S.Shi X.Shi X.D Shi W.M.Song Y.X.Song S.Sosio S.Spataro K.X.Su P.P.Su F.F.Sui G.X.Sun H.K.Sun J.F.Sun L.Sun S.S.Sun T.Sun W.Y.Sun X Sun Y.J.Sun Y.K.Sun Y.Z.Sun Z.T.Sun Y.H.Tan Y.X.Tan C.J.Tang G.Y.Tang J.Tang J.X.Teng V.Thoren I.Uman B.Wang C.W.Wang D.Y.Wang H.J.Wang H.P.Wang K.Wang L.L.Wang M.Wang M.Z.Wang Meng Wang W.Wang W.H.Wang W.P.Wang X.Wang X.F.Wang X.L.Wang Y.Wang Y.D.Wang Y.F.Wang Y.Q.Wang Y.Y.Wang Z.Wang Z.Y.Wang Ziyi Wang Zongyuan Wang D.H.Wei P.Weidenkaff F.Weidner S.P.Wen D.J.White U.Wiedner G.Wilkinson M.Wolke L.Wollenberg J.F.Wu L.H.Wu L.J.Wu X.Wu Z.Wu L.Xia H.Xiao S.Y.Xiao Z.J.Xiao X.H.Xie Y.G.Xie Y.H.Xie T.Y.Xing G.F.Xu Q.J.Xu W.Xu X.P.Xu F.Yan L.Yan W.B.Yan W.C.Yan Xu Yan H.J.Yang H.X.Yang L.Yang S.L.Yang Y.X.Yang Yifan Yang Zhi Yang M.Ye M.H.Ye J.H.Yin Z.Y.You B.X.Yu C.X.Yu G.Yu J.S.Yu T.Yu C.Z.Yuan L.Yuan X.Q.Yuan Y.Yuan Z.Y.Yuan C.X.Yue A.Yuncu A.A.Zafar Y.Zeng B.X.Zhang Guangyi Zhang H.Zhang H.H.Zhang H.Y.Zhang J.J.Zhang J.L.Zhang J.Q.Zhang J.W.Zhang J.Y.Zhang J.Z.Zhang Jianyu Zhang Jiawei Zhang L.Q.Zhang Lei Zhang S.Zhang S.F.Zhang Shulei Zhang X.D.Zhang X.Y.Zhang Y.Zhang Y.H.Zhang Y.T.Zhang Yan Zhang Yao Zhang Yi Zhang Z.H.Zhang Z.Y.Zhang G.Zhao J.Zhao J.Y.Zhao J.Z.Zhao Lei Zhao Ling Zhao M.G.Zhao Q.Zhao S.J.Zhao Y.B.Zhao Y.X.Zhao Z.G.Zhao A.Zhemchugov B.Zheng J.P.Zheng Y.Zheng Y.H.Zheng B.Zhong C.Zhong L.P.Zhou Q.Zhou X.Zhou X.K.Zhou X.R.Zhou A.N.Zhu J.Zhu K.Zhu K.J.Zhu S.H.Zhu T.J.Zhu W.J.Zhu W.J.Zhu Y.C.Zhu Z.A.Zhu B.S.Zou J.H.Zou | 2021 | Chinese Physics C2021,45,2: | 33
Whole-genome sequencing of 508 patients identifies key molecular features associated with poor prognosis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)is a poor-prognosis cancer type with limited understanding of its molecular etiology.Using 508 ESCC genomes,we identified five novel significantly mutated genes and uncovered mutational signature clusters associated with metastasis and patients’outcomes.Several functional assays implicated that NFE2L2 may act as a tumor suppressor in ESCC and that mutations in NFE2L2 probably impaired its tumor-suppressive function,or even conferred oncogenic activities.Additionally,we found that the NFE2L2 mutations were significantly associated with worse prognosis of ESCC.We also identified potential noncoding driver mutations including hotspot mutations in the promoter region of SLC35E2 that were correlated with worse survival.Approximately 5.9%and 15.2%of patients had high tumor mutation burden or actionable mutations, respectively, and may benefit from immunotherapy or targeted therapies. We found clinically relevant coding and noncoding genomic alterations and revealed three major subtypes that robustly predicted patients’outcomes.Collectively,we report the largest dataset of genomic profiling of ESCC useful for developing ESCC-specific biomarkers for diagnosis and treatment. | Yongping Cui Hongyan Chen Ruibin Xi Heyang Cui Yahui Zhao Enwei Xu Ting Yan Xiaomei Lu Furong Huang Pengzhou Kong Yang Li Xiaolin Zhu Jiawei Wang Wenjie Zhu Jie Wang Yanchun Ma Yong Zhou Shiping Guo Ling Zhang Yiqian Liu Bin Wang Yanfeng Xi Ruifang Sun Xiao Yu Yuanfang Zhai Fang Wang Jian Yang Bin Yang Caixia Cheng Jing Liu Bin Song Hongyi Li Yi Wang Yingchun Zhang Xiaolong Cheng Qimin Zhan Yanhong Li Zhihua Liu-Show | 2020 | Cell Research2020,30,10: | 19
COVID-19: Challenges to GIS with Big Data显示文摘The outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus disease(COVID-19)has caused more than 100,000 people infected and thousands of deaths.Currently, the number of infections and deaths is still increasing rapidly.COVID-19 seriously threatens human health, production, life, social functioning and international relations. In the fight against COVID-19,Geographic Information Systems(GIS)and big data technologies have played an important role in many aspects, including the rapid aggregation of multi-source big data, rapid visualization of epidemic information, spatial tracking of confirmed cases, prediction of regional transmission, spatial segmentation of the epidemic risk and prevention level, balancing and management of the supply and demand of material resources, and socialemotional guidance and panic elimination, which provided solid spatial information support for decision-making,measures formulation, and effectiveness assessment of COVID-19 prevention and control.GIS has developed and matured relatively quickly and has a complete technological route for data preparation, platform construction, model construction, and map production. However, for the struggle against the widespread epidemic, the main challenge is finding strategies to adjust traditional technical methods and improve speed and accuracy of information provision for social management. At the data level,in the era of big data, data no longer come mainly from the government but are gathered from more diverse enterprises. As a result, the use of GIS faces difficulties in data acquisition and the integration of heterogeneous data, which requires governments, businesses, and academic institutions to jointly promote the formulation of relevant policies. At the technical level, spatial analysis methods for big data are in the ascendancy.Currently and for a long time in the future, the development of GIS should be strengthened to form a data-driven system for rapid knowledge acquisition, which signifies ts that GIS should be used to reinforce the social operation parameterization of models and methods, especially when providing support for social management. | Chenghu Zhou Fenzhen Su Tao Pei An Zhang Yunyan Du Bin Luo Zhidong Cao Juanle Wang Wen Yuan Yunqiang Zhu Ci Song Jie Chen Jun Xu Fujia Li Ting Ma Lili Jiang Fengqin Yan Jiawei Yi Yunfeng Hu Yilan Liao Han Xiao | 2020 | Geography and Sustainability2020,1,1: | 13
Exosome-guided bone targeted delivery of Antagomir-188 as an anabolic therapy for bone loss显示文摘The differentiation shift from osteogenesis to adipogenesis of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)characterizes many pathological bone loss conditions.Stromal cell-derived factor-1(SDF1)is highly enriched in the bone marrow for C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 4(CXCR4)-positive hematopoietic stem cell(HSC)homing and tumor bone metastasis. In this study,we displayed CXCR4 on the surface of exosomes derived from genetically engineered NIH-3T3 cells.CXCR4+exosomes selectively accumulated in the bone marrow. Then,we fused CXCR4+exosomes with liposomes carrying antagomir-188 to produce hybrid nanoparticles(NPs).The hybrid NPs specifically gathered in the bone marrow and released antagomir-188,which promoted osteogenesis and inhibited adipogenesis of BMSCs and thereby reversed age-related trabecular bone loss and decreased cortical bone porosity in mice.Taken together, this study presents a novel way to obtain bone-targeted exosomes via surface display of CXCR4 and a promising anabolic therapeutic approach for age-related bone loss. | Yan Hu Xiaoqun Li Qin Zhang Zhengrong Gu Ying Luo Jiawei Guo Xiuhui Wang Yingying Jing Xiao Chen Jiacan Su | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,9: | 12
Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. Therefore the observation of Insight-HXMT constitutes an important chapter in the full context of multi-wavelength and multi-messenger observation of this historical GW event. | TiPei Li ShaoLin Xiong ShuangNan Zhang FangJun Lu LiMing Song XueLei Cao Zhi Chang Gang Chen Li Chen TianXiang Chen Yong Chen YiBao Chen YuPeng Chen Wei Cui WeiWei Cui JingKang Deng YongWei Dong YuanYuan Du MinXue Fu GuanHua Gao He Gao Min Gao MingYu Ge YuDong Gu Ju Guan ChengCheng Guo DaWei Han Wei Hu Yue Huang Jia Huo ShuMei Jia LuHua Jiang WeiChun Jiang Jing Jin YongJie Jin Bing Li ChengKui Li Gang Li MaoShun Li Wei Li Xian Li XiaoBo Li XuFang Li YanGuo Li ZiJian Li ZhengWei Li XiaoHua Liang JinYuan Liao CongZhan Liu GuoQing Liu HongWei Liu ShaoZhen Liu XiaoJing Liu Yuan Liu YiNong Liu Bo Lu XueFeng Lu Tao Luo Xiang Ma Bin Meng Yi Nang JianYin Nie Ge OU JinLu Qu Na Sai Liang Sun Yin Tan Lian Tao WenHui Tao YouLi Tuo GuoFeng Wang HuanYu Wang Juan Wang WenShuai Wang YuSa Wang XiangYang Wen BoBing WU Mei Wu GuangCheng Xiao He Xu YuPeng Xu LinLi Yan JiaWei Yang Sheng Yang YanJi Yang AiMei Zhang ChunLei Zhang ChengMo Zhang Fan Zhang HongMei Zhang Juan Zhang Qiang Zhang Shu Zhang Tong Zhang Wei Zhang WanChang Zhang WenZhao Zhang Yi Zhang Yue Zhang YiFei Zhang YongJie Zhang Zhao Zhang ZiLiang Zhang HaiSheng Zhao JianLing Zhao XiaoFan Zhao ShiJie Zheng Yue Zhu YuXuan Zhu ChangLin Zou | 2018 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2018,61,3: | 12

Advances of injectable hydrogel-based scaffolds for cartilage regeneration显示文摘Articular cartilage is an important load-bearing tissue distributed on the surface of diarthrodial joints.Due to its avascular, aneural and non-lymphatic features, cartilage has limited self-regenerative properties. To date, the utilization of biomaterials to aid in cartilage regeneration, especially through the use of injectable scaffolds, has attracted considerable attention.Various materials, therapeutics and fabrication approaches have emerged with a focus on manipulating the cartilage microenvironment to induce the formation of cartilaginous structures that have similar properties to the native tissues. In particular, the design and fabrication of injectable hydrogel-based scaffolds have advanced in recent years with the aim of enhancing its therapeutic efficacy and improving its ease of administration. This review summarizes recent progress in these efforts, including the structural improvement of scaffolds, network cross-linking techniques and strategies for controlled release, which present new opportunities for the development of injectable scaffolds for cartilage regeneration. | Jiawei Li Guojun Chen Xingquan Xu Peter Abdou Qing Jiang Dongquan Shi Zhen Gu | 2019 | Regenerative Biomaterials2019,6,3: | 11
Effect of coating modification of cordierite carrier on catalytic performance of supported NiMnO_3 catalysts for VOCs combustion显示文摘NiMnO_3 perovskite catalysts supported on cordierite modified by Ce_xZr_(1-x)O_2 coatings were prepared using impregnation and sol-gel methods for catalytic combustion of single/double component VOCs at different concentrations and GHSV of 15,000 h^(-1), which were characterized by BET, XRD, SEM, FT-IR, H_2-TPR and O_2-TPD. After coating modification, the specific surface area of catalysts is improved obviously.Among the catalysts, the Ce_(0.75)Zr_(0.25)O_2 coating modified NiMnO_3 catalyst exhibits the best catalytic activity for VOCs combustion with 95.6% conversion at 275 ℃ and has stable activity when catalyst is embalmed at 800 ℃. In addition, the catalyst also presents the excellent water-resistant and conversion stability over time-on-stream condition. The reason is that Ce_(0.75)Zr_(0.25)O_2 coating can promote more lattice distortion and defects and smaller crystal size, which improve oxygen transfer capability and dispersion of active component. | Lei Deng Chao Huang Jiawei Kan Bing Li Yingwen Chen Shemin Zhu Shubao Shen | 2018 | Journal of Rare Earths2018,36,3: | 10

Defect and Doping Co‑Engineered Non‑Metal Nanocarbon ORR Electrocatalyst显示文摘Exploring low-cost and earth-abundant oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)electrocatalyst is essential for fuel cells and metal–air batteries.Among them,non-metal nanocarbon with multiple advantages of low cost, abundance, high conductivity, good durability, and competitive activity has attracted intense interest in recent years. The enhanced ORR activities of the nanocarbons are normally thought to originate from heteroatom(e.g.,N,B,P,or S)doping or various induced defects. However,in practice,carbon-based materials usually contain both dopants and defects. In this regard,in terms of the co-engineering of heteroatom doping and defect inducing,we present an overview of recent advances in developing non-metal carbon-based electrocatalysts for the ORR.The characteristics,ORR performance, and the related mechanism of these functionalized nanocarbons by heteroatom doping, defect inducing, and in particular their synergistic promotion effect are emphatically analyzed and discussed. Finally, the current issues and perspectives in developing carbon-based electrocatalysts from both of heteroatom doping and defect engineering are proposed. This review will be beneficial for the rational design and manufacturing of highly efficient carbon-based materials for electrocatalysis. | Jian Zhang Jingjing Zhang Feng He Yijun Chen Jiawei Zhu Deli Wang Shichun Mu Hui Ying Yang | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,4: | 8
Structure of the Upper Mantle and Transition Zone Beneath the South China Block Imaged by Finite Frequency Tomography显示文摘We applied the finite frequency tomography method to S wave data recorded by 350 broadband stations beneath the South China Block(SCB) and its surroundings from earthquakes occurring between July 2007 and July 2010,to better understand upper mantle deformation.Differential travel-times in the pair of stations with appropriate weighting for each station are used in the inversion. Our results are consistent with previous tomography that show a high velocity anomaly beneath the Sichuan basin and a high velocity anomaly in the transition zone beneath the Yangtze Craton. However, the resolution of mantle heterogeneity provides new insight into the tectonic framework of subduction of Burmese lithosphere in the west part of the study region and subduction of oceanic lithosphere in the east.In the subduction realm, west of 107°E,a significant fast S-wave anomaly is located on the southeast of Sichuan Basin.East of 107°E,and two narrow and discontinuous fast S-wave anomalies occur at a depth of 400-600 km beneath the middle of the South China block overlain by the pronounced low S-wave anomalies at a depth of 100 and 400 km.If the fast anomalies located in the mantle transition zone represent stagnant slabs, their fragmented nature may suggest that they could be produced by different episodes of subduction beneath western Pacific island and the above slow velocity anomaly may associated with the back-arc regions of ongoing subduction. In addition, tomography also reveals an anomalously high S-wave velocity continental root extends eastward to a depth 400 km beneath the eastern Sichuan Basin. This anomaly may be related to eastern extrusion of Indian lithosphere associated with the collision of India and Eurasia. Moreover, our results also show large slow anomalies beneath the Red River fault region connected to deeper anomalies beneath the South China Fold Belt and South China Sea.AH these observations are consistent with the scenario that the South China block has been built by both of subduction of Paleopacific plate and eastward subduction of Burma microplate. | SUN Ya LIU Jianxin TANG Youcai CHEN Jiawei ZHOU Keping CHEN Bo | 2016 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2016,90,5: | 8

Allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell immunotherapy exhibits promising clinical safety and prolongs the survival of patients with late-stage lung or liver cancer显示文摘Vγ9Vδ2 T cells are promising candidates for cellular tumor immunotherapy.Due to their HLA-independent mode of action, allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells can be considered for clinical application. To apply allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells in adoptive immunotherapy, the methodology used to obtain adequate cell numbers with optimal effector function in vitro needs to be optimized, and clinical safety and efficacy also need to be proven. Therefore,we developed a novel formula to improve the expansion of peripheralγδT cells from healthy donors. Then,we used a humanized mouse model to validate the therapeutic efficacy of expandedγδT cells in vivo;furthermore, the expandedγδT cells were adoptively transferred into late-stage liver and lung cancer patients. We found that the expanded cells possessed significantly improved immune effector functions, including proliferation, differentiation, and cancer cell killing, both in vitro and in the humanized mouse model.Furthermore,a phase I clinical trial in 132 late-stage cancer patients with a total of 414 cell infusions unequivocally validated the clinical safety of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells.Among these 132 patients,8 liver cancer patients and 10 lung cancer patients who received≥5 cell infusions showed greatly prolonged survival, which preliminarily verified the efficacy of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell therapy. Our clinical studies underscore the safety and efficacy of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell immunotherapy, which will inspire further clinical investigations and eventually benefit cancer patients. | Yan Xu Zheng Xiang Mohammed Alnaggar Léonce Kouakanou Jiawei Li Junyi He Jiashuang Yang Yi Hu Yan Chen Li Lin Jianlei Hao Jingxia Li Jibing Chen Man Li Qingling Wu Christian Peters Qinghua Zhou Jianshuang Li Yingqing Liang Xiaohua Wang Baohui Han Meili Ma Dieter Kabelitz Kecheng Xu Wenwei Tu Yangzhe Wu Zhinan Yin | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,2: | 8
Long-distance ranging with high precision using a soliton microcomb显示文摘Laser-based light detection and ranging(lidar)plays a significant role in both scientific and industrial areas. However,it is difficult for existing lidars to achieve high speed, high precision, and long distance simultaneously. Here,we demonstrate a high-performance lidar based on a chip-scaled soliton microcomb(SMC)that can realize all three specialties simultaneously.Aided by the excellent properties of ultrahigh repetition rate and the smooth envelope of the SMC,traditional optical frequency comb(OFC)-based dispersive interferometry is heavily improved and the measuring dead zone induced by the mismatch between the repetition rate of the OFC and resolution of the optical spectrum analyzer is totally eliminated.Combined with an auxiliary dual-frequency phase-modulated laser range finder, the none-dead-zone measurable range ambiguity is extended up to 1500 m.The proposed SMC lidar is experimentally implemented in both indoor and outdoor environment. In the outdoor baseline field,real-time,high-speed(up to 35 k Hz)measurement of a long distance of^1179 m is achieved with a minimum Allan deviation of 5.6μm at an average time of 0.2 ms(27 nm at an average time of 1.8 s after high-pass filtering). The present SMC lidar approaches a compact,fast,high-precision,and none-dead zone long-distance ranging system, aimed at emerging applications of frontier basic scientific research and advances in industrial manufacturing. | JINDONG WANG ZHIZHOU LU WEIQIANG WANG FUMIN ZHANG JIAWEI CHEN YANG WANG JIHUI ZHENG SAI T.CHU WEI ZHAO BRENT E.LITTLE XINGHUA QU WENFU ZHANG | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,12: | 8

Discovery of tip induced unconventional superconductivity on Weyl semimetal显示文摘Weyl fermion is a massless Dirac fermion with definite chirality, which has been long pursued since 1929.Though it has not been observed as a fundamental particle in nature,Weyl fermion can be realized as low-energy excitation around Weyl point in Weyl semimetal, which possesses Weyl fermion cones in the bulk and nontrivial Fermi arc states on the surface. As a firstly discovered Weyl semimetal,Ta As crystal possesses 12 pairs of Weyl points in the momentum space, which are topologically protected against small perturbations. Here,we report for the first time the tip induced superconductivity on Ta As crystal by point contact spectroscopy. The zero bias conductance peak as well as a conductance plateau with double conductance peaks and sharp double dips are observed in the point contact spectra simultaneously, indicating unconventional superconductivity. Our further theoretical study suggests that the induced superconductivity may have nontrivial topology. The present work opens a new route in investigating the novel superconducting states based on Weyl materials. | He Wang Huichao Wang Yuqin Chen Jiawei Luo Zhujun Yuan Jun Liu Yong Wang Shuang Jia Xiong-Jun Liu jian Wei Jian Wang | 2017 | Science Bulletin2017,62,6: | 7
