3Comparative study on the effects and efficiencies of three sublimation drying methods for mushrooms显示文摘Freeze drying(FD)yields the best quality of dried mushrooms but needs long drying time and higher cost.Air drying(AD)gives relatively poor product quality.In order to achieve faster drying along with high product quality,microwave freeze drying(MFD)and atmospheric freeze drying(AFD)were developed to dry mushrooms.By comparison of three sublimation drying processes,it was concluded that FD could lead to the best product quality,but cost the highest energy consumption.AFD mushrooms had the worst quality and longest drying time,but the lowest energy consumption.Compared with FD and AFD,MFD could get relatively acceptable quality and drying efficiency.As a result,MFD can be used to replace traditional FD,and AFD also should be popularized because of its low energy consumption.Duan Xu Liu Wei Ren Guangyue Liu Wenchao Liu Yunhong 2015International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,1:13

5Metallogenic model and prognosis of the Shuiyindong super-large strata-bound Carlin-type gold deposit, southwestern Guizhou Province, China显示文摘The Shuiyindong deposit is one of the largest (more than 100 tonnes of Au) and highest grade (more than 7×10-6-10×10-6), strata-bound Carlintype gold deposits in southwestern Guizhou Province, China. The deposit is controlled by both structure and favorable lithology. It is situated near the axis of the striking Huijiabao anticline and is hosted in bioclastic limestone of the Permian Longtan Formation. Gold mineralization occurred under low temperature with Th of 220℃± and is closely associated with decarbonation, silicification, sulfidation and dolomitization. The deposit has a characteristic elemental assemblage of Au-As-Hg-Tl. Studies of geochemistry and isotope compositions indicated that the ore-bearing materials and fluids of the gold deposit mainly originated from a plutonic source, and possess a mixing feature with the strata matter during transportation from mantle to crust. Fluid inclusions in vein quartz from the gold deposit are rich in volatile flux, indicating that metallogenic fluid is an overpres-sured one. The activity and geothermal state of the Earth's crust in the long period of time are favorable for the formation of overpressured fluids in a large area, and extensive structures would drive the fluids into ore-forming sys-tem and make gold deposits formed. The complexity of structural movement in the upper crust of southwestern Guizhou Province resulted in complicated gold mineralization. 6Numerical investigation of dual-porosity model with transient transfer function based on discrete-fracture model显示文摘Based on the characteristics of fractures in naturally fractured reservoir and a discrete-fracture model, a fracture network numerical well test model is developed.Bottom hole pressure response curves and the pressure field are obtained by solving the model equations with the finite-element method. By analyzing bottom hole pressure curves and the fluid flow in the pressure field, seven flow stages can be recognized on the curves. An upscaling method is developed to compare with the dual-porosity model(DPM). The comparisons results show that the DPM overestimates the inter-porosity coefficient λ and the storage factor ω. The analysis results show that fracture conductivity plays a leading role in the fluid flow. Matrix permeability influences the beginning time of flow from the matrix to fractures. Fractures density is another important parameter controlling the flow. 7A numerical approach for pressure transient analysis of a vertical well with complex fractures显示文摘A new well test model for a vertical fractured well is developed based on a discrete-fracture model in which the fractures are discretized as one dimensional(1-D) entities.The model overcomes the weakness of complex meshing,a large number of grids, and instability in conventional stripe-fracture models. Then, the discrete-fracture model is implemented using a hybrid element finite-element method.Triangular elements are used for matrix and line elements for the fractures. The finite element formulation is validated by comparing with the semi-analytical solution of a single vertical fractured well. The accuracy of the approach is shown through several examples with different fracture apertures,fracture conductivity, and fracture amount. Results from the discrete-fracture model agree reasonably well with the stripefracture model and the analytic solutions. The advantages of the discrete-fracture model are presented in mesh generation, computational improvement, and abilities to handle complex fractures like wedge-shaped fractures and fractures with branches. Analytical results show that the number of grids in the discrete-fracture model is 10 % less than stripefracture model, and computational efficiency increases by about 50 %. 8Effect of quadratic pressure gradient term on a one-dimensional moving boundary problem based on modified Darcy's law显示文摘A relatively high formation pressure gradient can exist in seepage flow in low-permeable porous media with a threshold pressure gradient, and a significant error may then be caused in the model computation by neglecting the quadratic pressure gradient term in the governing equations.Based on these concerns, in consideration of the quadratic pressure gradient term, a basic moving boundary model is constructed for a one-dimensional seepage flow problem with a threshold pressure gradient. Owing to a strong nonlinearity and the existing moving boundary in the mathematical model,a corresponding numerical solution method is presented.First, a spatial coordinate transformation method is adopted in order to transform the system of partial differential equations with moving boundary conditions into a closed system with fixed boundary conditions; then the solution can be stably numerically obtained by a fully implicit finite-difference method. The validity of the numerical method is verified by a published exact analytical solution. Furthermore, to compare with Darcy's flow problem, the exact analytical solution for the case of Darcy's flow considering the quadratic pressure gradient term is also derived by an inverse Laplace transform.A comparison of these model solutions leads to the conclusion that such moving boundary problems must incorporatethe quadratic pressure gradient term in their governing equations; the sensitive effects of the quadratic pressure gradient term tend to diminish, with the dimensionless threshold pressure gradient increasing for the one-dimensional problem.Wenchao Liu Jun Yao Zhangxin Chen Yuewu Liu 2016Acta Mechanica Sinica2016,32,1:7
9The occurrence of gold in hydrothermal sulfide at Southwest Indian Ridge 49.6°E显示文摘Massive sulfide precipitates found in the Southwest Indian Ridge(SWIR) 49.6°E hydrothermal field are enriched in gold.Here,the mineralogy and mineral chemistry of these massive sulfides to constrain the process of gold precipitation were studied.Sulfide samples in this field include lowertemperature Zn-rich sulfides and relative higher-temperature Fe-rich sulfides.Zn-rich sulfides are dominated by sphalerite-pyrite-chalcopyrite assemblages,with concentrations of gold ranging from 9.08 to 17.0 μg/g.Fe-rich sulfides consist mainly of pyrite-marcasite-isocubanite assemblages,with gold concentrations from 2.17 to 3.79 μg/g.The significant enrichment in gold within the lowertemperature Zn-rich sulfides and the effective separation of Zn and Fe in hydrothermal precipitates at the surface of this field are here interpreted to reflect the strong temperature dependence of gold transportation and deposition within the sulfides.In Zn-rich samples,large amounts of isolated native gold grains were identified.They were found mainly as inclusions up to 8 μm in diameter,occupying porous cavities in sphalerite or in the elevated iron content rim of sphalerite.The fineness of the gold ranged from 810 to 830.Unlike previously published results on other hydrothermal fields,these data show a low gold fineness values in SWIR 49.6°E.The FeS content of sphalerite associated with gold grains ranged from 3.2 mole % to 18.9 mole %.This was higher than in other fields,indicating that the sulfur activity is relatively low during the gold precipitation process and that sulfur activity may be one of the main factors affecting gold fineness in the SWIR 49.6°E hydrothermal field.Evidence regarding gold fineness and sulfur activity suggests that gold was quite likely transported as AuHS0 rather than as a Au(HS)-2 complex.YE Jun SHI Xuefa YANG Yaomin LI Naisheng LIU Jihua SU Wenchao 2012Acta Oceanologica Sinica2012,31,6:7
10Combining User-Based and Item-Based Models for Collaborative Filtering Using Stacked Regression显示文摘Collaborative filtering can be classified into user-based or item-based methods according to different assumptions. Our experiment results show that both userbased and item-based methods can reach a certain degree of accuracy, but the recommendation coverage of these two methods is significantly different. This paper qualitatively analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of such two methods, and found that user-based methods advantage in recommending popular items while item-based methods perform better at suggesting long tail items. Based on this analysis, we proposes a novel machine learning framework to systematically combine both. We train a model for each user-item pair for discovering the local preference of the user or item over both methods, and effectively combine user-based and item-based predictions using the preference information. 11Numerical and experimental studies on solidification of AZ80 magnesium alloy under out-of-phase pulsed magnetic field显示文摘For obtaining the finer grains of magnesium alloy,a novel combined pulsed magnetic field with different initial phases,also called out-ofphase pulsed magnetic field(OPPMF),was applied to study the solidification structure of AZ80 magnesium alloy.The numerical simulation was simultaneously conducted to investigate the refinement mechanisms.The experimental results showed that the macrostructure could be effectively refined by applying external magnetic field.Meanwhile,finer grains were obtained with the higher current intensity.However,the increase of current intensity could only refine the grains to about 0.5 mm.Furthermore,compared to a single pulsed magnetic field(PMF)and alternating series of OPPMF(Connection II),a finer structure was observed when the consecutive series of OPPMF(Connection I)was imposed.In contrast with a single PMF and Connection II,the numerical results showed that the greater axial Lorentz force was obtained under the Connection I,generating the stronger forced flow in the melt.It is believed that abundant nuclei could detach from the mold wall and move faster into the interior melt due to the stronger forced flow;besides,the lower superheat and greater temperature uniformity in bulk melt were realized,accounting for the finest structures under the Connection I.Wenchao Duan Siqi Yin Wenhong Liu Zhong Zhao Kun Hu Ping Wang Jianzhong Cui Zhiqiang Zhang 2021Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,1:5
12Structuring Nonlinear Wavefront Emitted from Monolayer Transition-Metal Dichalcogenides显示文摘The growing demand for tailored nonlinearity calls for a structure with unusual phase discontinuity that allows the realization of nonlinear optical chirality,holographic imaging,and nonlinear wavefront control.Transition-metal dichalcogenide(TMDC)monolayers offer giant optical nonlinearity within a few-angstrom thickness,but limitations in optical absorption and domain size impose restriction on wavefront control of nonlinear emissions using classical light sources.In contrast,noble metal-based plasmonic nanosieves support giant field enhancements and precise nonlinear phase control,with hundred-nanometer pixellevel resolution;however,they suffer from intrinsically weak nonlinear susceptibility.Here,we report a multifunctional nonlinear interface by integrating TMDC monolayers with plasmonic nanosieves,yielding drastically different nonlinear functionalities that cannot be accessed by either constituent.Such a hybrid nonlinear interface allows second-harmonic(SH)orbital angular momentum(OAM)generation,beam steering,versatile polarization control,and holograms,with an effective SH nonlinearityχ^((2))of~25 nm/V.This designer platform synergizes the TMDC monolayer and plasmonic nanosieves to empower tunable geometric phases and large field enhancement,paving the way toward multifunctional and ultracompact nonlinear optical devices.Xuanmiao Hong Guangwei Hu Wenchao Zhao Kai Wang Shang Sun Rui Zhu Jing Wu Weiwei Liu Kian Ping Loh Andrew Thye Shen Wee Bing Wang Andrea Alù Cheng-Wei Qiu Peixiang Lu 2020Research2020,,1:5
13The occurrence of diffuse axonal injury in the brain:associated with the accumulation and clearance of myelin debris显示文摘The accumulation of myelin debris may be a major contributor to the inflammatory response after diffuse axonal injury. In this study, we examined the accumulation and clearance of myelin debris in a rat model of diffuse axonal injury. Oil Red O staining was performed on sections from the cerebral cortex, hippocampus and brain stem to identify the myelin debris. Seven days after diffuse axonal injury, many Oil Red O-stained particles were observed in the cerebral cortex, hippocampus and brain stem. In the cerebral cortex and hippocampus, the amount of myelin debris peaked at 14 days after injury, and decreased significantly at 28 days. In the brain stem, the amount of myelin debris peaked at 7 days after injury, and decreased significantly at 14 and 28 days. In the cortex and hippocampus, some myelin debris could still be observed at 28 days after diffuse axonal injury. 141 T moderate intensity static magnetic field affects Akt/mTOR pathway and increases the antitumor efficacy of m TOR inhibitors in CNE-2Z cells显示文摘Static magnetic field(SMF) has been known to affect cell proliferation in a cell-type-dependent manner,while the mechanism still remains unclear. We found that 1T moderate intensity SMF inhibits cell proliferation of nasopharyngeal carcinoma CNE-2Z cells and the Akt/m TOR signaling pathway, which is upregulated in many cancers. m TOR inhibitors are potential chemodrugs, but their clinical effects are limited by the feedback reactivation of other signaling components such as EGFR and Akt.We showed that 1 T SMF increases the antitumor efficacy of m TOR inhibitor Torin 2. In addition, 1 T SMF increases the inhibition efficiency on m TOR substrates phosphorylation and represses the m TOR inhibitor-induced feedback reactivation of EGFR and Akt. 16High energy-storage properties of Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_3-BaTiO_3-SrTi_(0.875)Nb_(0.1)O_3 lead-free relaxor ferroelectrics显示文摘New lead-free ferroelectric(0.94-x)Bio_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_3-0.06 BaTiO_(3-x)SrTi_(0.875)Nb_(0.1)O_3(BNBT-STN,x = 0 and 0.2)are synthesized by using a solid state reaction process. In this work, an obvious evolution of dielectric relaxation behavior and slim P-E hysteresis loops with high Pmax and low Pr is observed for BNBT-0.2 STN,indicating the dominant of ergodic relaxor phase with dynamic polar nano-regions(PNRs). A relatively large recoverable energy density(Wrec = 1.17 J/cm^3) with high energy efficiency(η= 91%) is obtained. Furthermore, it shows small variation(9%) in the temperature range of 30-150 ℃ and fatigue-free behavior,which can be attributed to the absence of ferroelectric domain in the relaxor phase. 17A cryptic inhibitor of cytokinin phosphorelay controls rice grain size显示文摘Plant hormone cytokinin signals through histidine-aspartic acid(H-D)phosphorelay to regulate plant growth and development.While it is well known that the phosphorelay involves histidine kinases,histidine phosphotransfer proteins(HPs),and response regulators(RRs),how this process is regulated by external components remains unknown.Here we demonstrate that protein phosphatase with kelch-like domains(PPKL1),known as a signaling component of steroid hormone brassinosteroid,is actually a cryptic inhibitor of cytokinin phosphorelay in rice(Oryza sativa).Mutation at a specific amino acid D364 of PPKL1 activates cytokinin response and thus enlarges grain size in a semi-dominant mutant named s48.Overexpression of PPKL1 containing D364,either with the deletion of the phosphatase domain or not,rescues the s48 mutant phenotype.PPKL1 interacts with OsAHP2,one of authentic HPs,and D364 resides in a region resembling the receiver domain of RRs.Accordingly,PPKL1 can utilize D364 to suppress OsAHP2-to-RR phosphorelay,whereas mutation of D364 abolishes the effect.This function of PPKL1 is independent of the phosphatase domain that is required for brassinosteroid signaling.Importantly,editing of the D364-residential region produces a diversity of semi-dominant mutations associated with variously increased grain sizes.Further screening of the edited plants enables the identification of two genotypes that confer significantly improved grain yield.Collectively,our study uncovers a noncanonical cytokinin signaling suppressor and provides a robust tool for seed rational design.Dapu Liu He Zhao Yunhua Xiao Guoxia Zhang Shouyun Cao Wenchao Yin Yangwen Qian Yanhai Yin Jinsong Zhang Shouyi Chen Chengcai Chu Hongning Tong 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,2:3
18Effect of different twirling and rotating acupuncture manipulation techniques on the blood flow perfusion at acupoints显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To analyze the effect of different twirling and rotating acupuncture manipulation techniques on the blood flow perfusion at acupoints to provide a reference for the study of acupoint specificity and the quantification and effectiveness of acupuncture methods. METHODS: Twenty healthy male or female college students each received four different acupuncture manipulation techniques, including simple acupuncture, uniform reinforcing-reducing needling, twirling reinforcing needling, and twisting reducing needling. The self-control method was applied. Acupuncture was performed by an acupuncture manipulation simulator at Neiguan (PC 6) and Zusanli (ST 36). The process of twirling and rotating was divided into seven timepoints. The PeriCam Perfusion Speckle Imager (PSI) System was used to collect the blood flow perfusion data at each acupoint. The specificity of twirling and rotating acupuncture manipulation was analyzed based on changes in the curve, video, and numerical blood flow perfusion data at each timepoint. RESULTS: There were two peaks in the blood flow perfusion curve of twirling and rotating acupuncture manipulation;one appeared after 3 min of needle retention, and the other appeared 3 min after needle removal. The blood flow perfusion parameters showed that the greatest differences between the four manipulation techniques occurred after 5 and 10 min of needle retention. The specificity of various manipulation techniques was most obvious at these two timepoints. There were significant differences between the four manipulation groups in the blood flow perfusion and the relative change rates of blood flow perfusion at each timepoint. CONCLUSION: Laser speckle imaging enables the real-time, non-invasive, rapid, and accurate collection of blood flow perfusion data during acupuncture. This imaging technique enables the easy attainment of various parameters such as visual images, two-dimensional curves, and data tables. At various timepoints, the four groups significantly differed regarding changes in blood flow perfusion and relative change rates of blood flow perfusion, which facilitated the differentiation of the four acupuncture manipulation methods. Based on this, further analysis could be conducted to study spatial distribution characteristics such as the influence area and flare area. 20Clear mortality gap caused by graft macrosteatosis in Chinese patients after cadaveric liver transplantation显示文摘Background:Liver transplantation(LT)is one of the most effective surgical treatment for patients with end-stage liver disease.Steatosis is a contributor for inferior graft quality.But its impact and safety on transplantation was less assessed in Chinese patients.Methods:Graft steatosis and related information involved in recipients,donors and surgical procedures were retrospectively collected from 239 patients.Results:Donor macrosteatosis(MaS)caused about 2.14 and 2.80 folds of increment on patient and graft mortality.Dose-response analysis revealed prominent risk of grafts on overall patient/organ mortality when MaS content exceeded 10%(P<0.05).Noteworthy,deaths were only observed in MaS group when concurrent with extremely higher post-transplant alanine aminotransferase(ALT,64%).However,microsteatosis(MiS)grafts didn’t affect outcomes after LT.In a cohort of Chinese patients,MaS had comprehensive effects on post-transplant outcomes with relatively lower safety threshold at 10%.Mortality gap caused by MaS grafts was observed in patients with severer ischemia reperfusion injury.Conclusions:Our study revealled the graft MaS affected the post-transplant outcomes in lower risk cutoff in Chinese patients.Further study is worthy to validate these results and investigate inner mechanism under the phenomenon.Zhengtao Liu Wenchao Wang Li Zhuang Jingfeng Liu Shuping Que Dan Zhu Linfang Dong Jian Yu Lin Zhou Shusen Zheng 2020Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2020,9,6:2
