1Flower-, wire-, and sheet-like MnO_2-deposited diatomites:Highly efficient absorbents for the removal of Cr(Ⅵ)显示文摘Flower-, wire-, and sheet-like MnO2-deposited diatomites have been prepared using a hydrothermal method with Mn(Ac)2, KMnO4and/or MnSO4 as Mn source and diatomite as support. Physical properties of the materials were characterized by means of numerous analytical techniques, and their behaviors in the adsorption of chromium(VI) were evaluated.It is shown that the MnO2-deposited diatomite samples with different morphologies possessed high surface areas and abundant surface hydroxyl groups(especially the wire-like MnO2/diatomite sample). 3High-accuracy primary and transfer standards for radiometric calibration显示文摘The first research and experimental results obtained in China of high-accuracy radiometric calibration based on cryogenic radiometer are reported. 6Identification of PAL genes related to anthocyanin synthesis in tea plants and its correlation with anthocyanin content显示文摘The phenylalanine ammonia-lyase(PAL)gene family in tea plants(Camellia sinensis L.)encodes the enzyme that catalyzes the first reaction of the phenylpropane metabolic pathway.The present study aimed to characterize the PAL genes in tea plants,and get better insights on the CsPALs in anthocyanins accumulation.Seven CsPAL genes were identified and characterized in tea plants by bioinformatics analysis.Systematic analysis of CsPALs was conducted for its phylogenetic relationship,gene structure,chromosomal location,and protein conserved motifs based on tea plant genome.The cis-elements of CsPALs were responsive to light,abiotic stress,hormone,and MYB-binding site.Furthermore,tissuespecific expression analysis showed that CsPAL4 was expressed preferentially in young leaves and buds.Correlation analysis was performed in purple-leaf tea with anthocyanin components,and it was suggested that CsPAL4 was closely related with different anthocyanin accumulated,especially with cyanidin 3-O-galactoside,cyanidin 3-O-glucoside,and delphinidin 3-O-glucoside.Additionally,the putative upstream regulation factors CsMYBs(CsMYB59,CsARR1,CsSRM1,CsMYB101,and CsMYB52)and CsbHLHs(CsbHLH104,CsbHLH3,CsbIM1,CsTCP14,and CsPIF4)could bind to the promoter of CsPALs,thereby activating its transcription.This study provides a theoretical basis for further research to elucidate the functions of the CsPAL genes.Xuejin Chen Pengjie Wang Mengya Gu Binghao Hou Churan Zhang Yucheng Zheng Yun Sun Shan Jin Naixing Ye 2022Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,3:4
7Strongly coupled Te-SnS_(2)/MXene superstructure with self-autoadjustable function for fast and stable potassium ion storage显示文摘Potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)are a promising candidate for next-generation electric energy storage applications because of the abundance and low cost of potassium.However,the development of PIBs is limited by sluggish kinetics and huge volume expansion of anodes,leading to poor rate capability and cycling stability.Herein,an advanced superstructure anode,including Te-doped SnS_(2) nanosheets uniformly anchored on MXene surface(Te-SnS_(2)/MXene),is rationally designed for the first time to boost K^(+)storage performance.Featuring with strong interface interaction and self-autoadjustable interlayer spacings,the Te-SnS_(2)/MXene can efficiently accelerate electron/ion transfer,accommodate volume expansion,inhibit crack formation,and improve pseudocapacitive contribution during cycling.Thus,the novel Te-SnS_(2)/MXene anode delivers a high reversible capacity(343.2 mAh g^(-1) after 50 cycles at0.2 A g^(-1)),outstanding rate capability(186.4 mAh g^(-1) at 20 A g^(-1)),long cycle stability(165.8 mAh g^(-1)after 5000 cycles at 10 A g^(-1) with a low electrode swelling rate of only 15.4%),and reliable operation in flexible full battery.The present Te-SnS_(2)/MXene becomes among the best transition metal-based anode materials for PIBs reported to date.Hongyang Sun Yelong Zhang Xiaodan Xu Jianwen Zhou Fan Yang Hao Li Hao Chen Yucheng Chen Zheng Liu Zhenping Qiu Da Wang Lipo Ma Jiawei Wang Qingguang Zeng Zhangquan Peng 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,10:2
8Transient heat transfer analysis in packed beds: Entropy generation model and multi-objective optimization显示文摘Due to the important role of the unsteady heat transfer process of packed beds in industrial production,the construction of the transient heat transfer model is of great significance for the operation and optimization.The present study performs a transient thermal analysis of packed bed,in which the convective heat transfer and conductive thermal resistance within the particles are considered simultaneously.A mathematical model is established of the total entropy generations(0-t)contributed by viscous dissipation and heat transfer;the influence of particle diameter,air flow rate,and pressure drop,is then investigated.Because of the time cost,these results present some different trends from the steady-state process.Furthermore,for a laboratory heat transfer system,with the aid of the genetic algorithm we adopt a multi-objective genetic algorithm model and modified expressions of the entropy generations are set as objective functions.Finally,optimal operational and structural parameters are obtained for different fan power settings.When the fan power is 300 W,the optimal particle diameter and inlet wind speed are 14 mm and 2.4 m/s,respectively.The results also suggest that the time cost is reduced with increasing fan power consumption.MA XiaoTeng DENG YuCheng CUI Zheng 2019Science China(Technological Sciences)2019,62,11:2
9Chromatin accessibility and translational Iandscapes of tea plants under chilling stress显示文摘Plants have evolved regulatory mechanisms at multiple levels to regulate gene expression in order to improve their cold adaptability.However,limited information is available regarding the stress response at the chromatin and translational levels.Here,we characterize the chromatin accessibility,transcriptional,and translational landscapes of tea plants in vivo under chilling stress for the first time.Chilling stress signi ficantly affected both the transcription and translation levels as well as the translation efficiency of tea plants.A total of 3010 genes that underwent rapid and independent translation under chilling stress were observed,and they were signi ficantly enriched in the photosynthesis-antenna protein and phenylpropanoid biosynthesis pathways.A set of genes that were signi ficantly responsive to cold at the transcription and translation levels,including four(+)-neomenthol dehydrogenases(MNDs)and two(E)-nerolidol synthases(NESs)arranged in tandem on the chromosomes,were also found.We detected potential upstream open reading frames(uORFs)on 3082 genes and found that tea plants may inhibit the overall expression of genes by enhancing the translation of uORFs under chilling stress.In addition,we identi fied distal transposase hypersensitive sites(THSs)and proximal THSs and constructed a transcriptional regulatory network for tea plants under chilling stress.We also identi fied 13 high-con fidence transcription factors(TFs)that may play a crucial role in cold regulation.These results provide valuable information regarding the potential transcriptional regulatory network in plants and help to clarify how plants exhibit flexible responses to chilling stress.Pengjie Wang Shan Jin Xuejin Chen Liangyu Wu Yucheng Zheng Chuan Yue Yongchun Guo Xingtan Zhang Jiangfan Yang Naixing Ye 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:2
10Double cores of the Ozone Low in the vertical direction over the Asian continent in satellite data sets显示文摘Using four satellite data sets(TOMS/SBUV, OMI, MLS, and HALOE), we analyze the seasonal variations of the total column ozone(TCO) and its zonal deviation(TCO*), and reveal the vertical structure of the Ozone Low(OV) over the Asian continent. Our principal findings are:(1) The TCO over the Asian continent reaches its maximum in the spring and its minimum in the autumn. The Ozone Low exists from May to September.(2) The Ozone Low has two negative cores, located in the lower and the upper stratosphere. The lower core is near 30 hPa in the winter and 70 hPa in the other seasons. 12Integration of microfluidic injection analysis with carbon nanomaterials/gold nanowire arrays-based biosensors for glucose detection显示文摘Carbon nanotubes(CNTs) and reduced graphene oxide(r GO) nanosheets were utilized to construct glucose biosensors in combination with gold nanowire arrays(Au NWAs), and microfluidic injection analysis driven by gravity force was used to investigate the performances of as-prepared glucose biosensors. The results demonstrated glucose biosensors based on carbon nanomaterials/Au NWAs presented excellent performance at low working potential of-0.2 V versus Ag/Ag Cl(3 mol/L KCl), such as high sensitivity, good anti-interference ability and high throughput(45 h^(-1)). The glucose biosensor based on glucose oxidase(GOx)–CNT–Au NWAs showed a wide linear range from 100 to 3,000 lmol/L with a sensitivity of 4.12 l A/cm^2 mmol/L. 14Multifunctional chitosan/gelatin@tannic acid cryogels decorated with in situ reduced silver nanoparticles for wound healing显示文摘Background:Most traditional wound dressings only partially meet the needs of wound healing because of their single function.Patients usually suffer from the increasing cost of treatment and pain resulting from the frequent changing of wound dressings.Herein,we have developed a mutifunctional cryogel to promote bacterial infected wound healing based on a biocompatible polysaccharide.Methods:The multifunctional cryogel is made up of a compositive scaffold of chitosan(CS),gelatin(Gel)and tannic acid(TA)and in situ formed silver nanoparticles(Ag NPs).A liver bleeding rat model was used to evaluate the dynamic hemostasis performance of the various cryogels.In order to evaluate the antibacterial properties of the prepared cryogels,gram-positive bacterium Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus)and gram-negative bacterium Escherichia coli(E.coli)were cultured with the cryogels for 12 h.Meanwhile,S.aureus was introduced to cause bacterial infection in vivo.After treatment for 2 days,the exudates from wound sites were dipped for bacterial colony culture.Subsequently,the anti-inflammatory effect of the various cryogels was evaluated by western blotting and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Finally,full-thickness skin defect models on the back of SD rats were established to assess the wound healing performances of the cryogels.Results:Due to its porous structure,the multifunctional cryogel showed fast liver hemostasis.The introduced Ag NPs endowed the cryogel with an antibacterial efficiency of>99.9%against both S.aureus and E.coli.Benefited from the polyphenol groups of TA,the cryogel could inhibit nuclear factor-κB nuclear translocation and down-regulate inflammatory cytokines for an anti-inflammatory effect.Meanwhile,excessive reactive oxygen species could also be scavenged effectively.Despite the presence of Ag NPs,the cryogel did not show cytotoxicity and hemolysis.Moreover,in vivo experiments demonstrated that the biocompatible cryogel displayed effective bacterial disinfection and accelerated wound healing.Conclusions:The multifunctional cryogel,with fast hemostasis,antibacterial and anti-inflammation properties and the ability to promote cell proliferation could be widely applied as a wound dressing for bacterial infected wound healing.Na Xu Yucheng Yuan Liangping Ding Jiangfeng Li Jiezhi Jia Zheng Li Dengfeng He Yunlong Yu 2022Burns & Trauma2022,10,1:1
15Identical carbon isotope trends of carbonate and organic carbon and their environmental significance from the Changhsingian (end-Permian), Meishan, South China显示文摘High resolution carbon isotope analyses of carbonate and organic carbon from Meishan, South China showed that the variation of δ13Ccarb is marked by three large positive excursions during the Changhsingian (end-Permian). Carbon isotope stratigraphy during this stage shows three cyclic intervals in δ13Ccarb, with two cycles corresponding to the lower (Paleofusulinid minima Zone) and one corresponding to the upper Changhsingian (P. sinensis Zone). The large positive δ13Ccarb excursions indicate episodes of enhanced burial of isotopically light or-ganic carbon, presumably in response to deep-water anoxia episodically extending into shallow water with the rise of sea level. The organic carbon during the Changhsingian is distinguished into two groups, and the δ13Corg of each group parallels (separately) the more detailed profile of δ13Ccarb, strongly showing that the values of fractionation Δ13Ccab-org remain relatively constant, with only two intervals with anomaly. The enhanced fractionation Δ13Ccab-org with large negative δ13Corg excursions apparently indicates significant inputs from sulfide-oxidizing bacteria and green sulfur bacteria, notably at bed 24 just predating mass extinction. 20Reliability criterion of film capacitor based on moisture diffusion in encapsulation显示文摘The current reliability criterion(RC)of the film capacitor(FC)is usually a fixed value,which does not consider the staged capacitance loss caused by moisture diffusion under high temperature and/or high humidity.The expected lifetime of capacitors would deviate far from the actual one.The moisture diffusion process of the encapsulated FC is ana-lysed based on Fick's second law.In order to investigate the capacitance loss and moisture diffusion characteristics,4 types of film capacitors are stressed with AC voltage under different temperatures and humidities.Based on the staged analysis of the capacitance and weight gain curves,the effect of moisture diffusion on capacitance loss is revealed.Results indicate that the linear stage of capacitance loss corresponds to the Fickian moisture diffusion stage of weight gain.The effect of voltage on FC aging is the most significant.The capacitance loss rate increases by 301%when the voltage rises by 30%.An RC calculation method of the FC is further proposed,which could also screen the encap-sulation quality and shorten the aging test duration by at least 80%.Zheng Li Hua Li Tian Qiu Fuchang Lin Yucheng Wang 2023High Voltage2023,8,6:1
