1Prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder in China:A Nationwide Multi-center Population-based Study Among Children Aged 6 to 12 Years显示文摘This study aimed to obtain the first national estimate of the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder(ASD) in Chinese children.We targeted the population of 6 to 12-year-old children for this prevalence study by multistage convenient cluster sampling.The Modified Chinese Autism Spectrum Rating Scale was used for the screening process.Of the target population of 142,086 children,88.5%(n=125,806) participated in the study.A total of 363 children were confirmed as having ASD.The observed ASD prevalence rate was 0.29%(95% CI:0.26%-0.32%) for the overall population.After adjustment for response rates,the estimated number of ASD cases was867 in the target population sample,thereby achieving an estimated prevalence of 0.70%(95% CI:0.64%-0.74%).The prevalence was significantly higher in boys than in girls(0.95%;95% CI:0.87%-1.02% versus 0.30%;95%CI:0.26%-0.34%;P <0.001).Of the 363 confirmed ASD cases,43.3% were newly diagnosed,and most of those(90.4%) were attending regular schools,and 68.8% of the children with ASD had at least one neuropsychiatric comorbidity.Our findings provide reliable data on the estimated ASD prevalence and comorbidities in Chinese children.Hao Zhou Xiu Xu Weili Yan Xiaobing Zou Lijie Wu Xuerong Luo Tingyu Li Yi Huang Hongyan Guan Xiang Chen Meng Mao Kun Xia Lan Zhang Erzhen Li Xiaoling Ge Lili Zhang Chunpei Li Xudong Zhang Yuanfeng Zhou Ding Ding Andy Shih Eric Fombonne Yi Zheng Jisheng Han Zhongsheng Sun Yong-hui Jiang Yi Wang LATENT-NHC Study Team 2020Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,9:158

3Chitosan conduits combined with nerve growth factor microspheres repair facial nerve defects显示文摘Microspheres containing nerve growth factor for sustained release were prepared by a compound method,and implanted into chitosan conduits to repair 10-mm defects on the right buccal branches of the facial nerve in rabbits.In addition,chitosan conduits combined with nerve growth factor or normal saline,as well as autologous nerve,were used as controls.At 90 days post-surgery,the muscular atrophy on the right upper lip was more evident in the nerve growth factor and normal saline groups than in the nerve growth factor-microspheres and autologous nerve groups.Electrophysiological analysis revealed that the nerve conduction velocity and amplitude were significantly higher in the nerve growth factor-microspheres and autologous nerve groups than in the nerve growth factor and normal saline groups.Moreover,histological observation illustrated that the diameter,number,alignment and myelin sheath thickness of myelinated nerves derived from rabbits were higher in the nerve growth factor-microspheres and autologous nerve groups than in the nerve growth factor and normal saline groups.These findings indicate that chitosan nerve conduits combined with microspheres for sustained release of nerve growth factor can significantly improve facial nerve defect repair in rabbits.Huawei Liu Weisheng Wen Min Hu Wenting Bi Lijie Chen Sanxia Liu Peng Chen Xinying Tan 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,33:22

5Co-inhibition of methanogens for methane mitigation in biodegradable wastes显示文摘The inhibition effects and mechanisms of chlorinated methane and acetylene on methanogenesis in the anaerobic digestion process of the biodegradable wastes were investigated.It was found that both chloroform and acetylene could effectively inhibit methanogens while the biodegradability of the wastes was not affected.Acetylene inhibited the activity of methanogens,while chloroform inhibited metabolic process of methanogenesis.A central composite design(CCD) and response surface regression analysis(RSREG) were employed to determine the optimum conditions and interaction effects of chloroform and acetylene in terms of inhibition effciency,production of volatile fatty acids(VAF) and molar ratio of propionic acid to acetic acid.Chloroform had significant effect on enhancing the production of VFA(F = 121.3;p < 0.01),and acetylene promoted the inhibition effciency(F = 99.15;p < 0.05) more effectively than chloroform(F = 9.72;p > 0.05).In addition,a maximum molar ratio of propionic acid to acetic acid of 1.208 was estimated under the optimum conditions of chloroform concentration of 9.05 mg/kg and acetylene concentration of 3.6×10-3(V/V).Hence,methanogens in the wastes can be inhibited while the stabilization process of the biodegradable wastes can still work well,as propionic acid generated during the inhibition process could hardly be utilized by methanogens.ZHAO Tiantao ZHANG Lijie CHEN Haoquan ZHAO Youcai 2009Journal of Environmental Sciences2009,21,6:12
6Whole-Genome Resequencing of a Worldwide Collection of Rapeseed Accessions Reveals the Genetic Basis of Ecotype Divergence显示文摘Rapeseed (Brassica napus),an important oilseed crop,has adapted to diverse climate zones and latitudes by forming three main ecotype groups,namely winter,semiwinter,and spring types. However,genetic variations underlying the divergence of these ecotypes are largely unknown. Here,we report the global pattern of genetic polymorphisms in rapeseed determined by resequencing a worldwide collection of 991 germplasm accessions.A total of 5.56 and 5.53 million singlenucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs)as Well as 1.86 and 1.92 million InDels were identified by mapping reads to the reference genomes of 'Darmor-bzh'and 'Tapidor,'respectively.We generated a map of allelic drift paths that shows splits and mixtures of the main populations,and revealed an asymmetric evolution of the two subgenomes of B.napus by calculating the genetic diversity and linkage disequilibrium parameters.Selective-sweep analysis revealed genetic changes in genes orthologous to those regulating various aspects of plant development and response to stresses.A genome-wide association study identified SNPs in the promoter regions of FLOWERING LOCUS T and FLOWERING LOCUS C orthologs that corresponded to the different rapeseed ecotype groups. 7Microstructure and corrosion resistance of ultrasonic micro-arc oxidation biocoatings on magnesium alloy显示文摘The ultrasonic micro-arc oxidation(UMAO)was used to fabricate ceramic coatings on magnesium alloy.UMAO coatings were produced at 60 W input ultrasonic.The effects of the ultrasound on the microstructure,phase composition,elemental distribution and corrosion resistance of the coatings were extensively investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry(EDX)and electrochemical workstation.The results showed that ultrasound improved the homogeneous distribution of micro-porous structure.The coatings were mainly composed of MgO ceramic and small amount of calcium and phosphorus with porous structure.The Ca/P ratio of the coatings increased when 60 W ultrasonic was used.The corrosion potential in simulated body fluid(SBF)changed from��1.583 V of bare magnesium alloy to -0.353 V of magnesium alloy coated under 60 W ultrasonic.The corrosion resistance of UMAO coatings was better than that of MAO coatings.Lijie QU Muqin LI Miao LIU Erlin ZHANG Chen MA 2013Journal of Advanced Ceramics2013,2,3:9

10A load simulation method of piezoelectric actuator in FEM for smart structures显示文摘More and more piezoelectric materials and structures have been used for structure control in aviation and aerospace industry. More efficient and convenient computation method for large complex structure with piezoelectric actuation devices is required. A load simulation method of piezoelectric actuation is presented in this paper. By this method, the freedom degree of finite element simulation is significantly reduced, the difficulty in defining in-plane voltage for multi-layers piezoelectric composite is overcome and the transfer computation between material main direction and the element main direction is simplified. 13Monitoring Soil Salt Content Using HJ-1A Hyperspectral Data: A Case Study of Coastal Areas in Rudong County, Eastern China显示文摘Hyperspectral data are an important source for monitoring soil salt content on a large scale. However, in previous studies, barriers such as interference due to the presence of vegetation restricted the precision of mapping soil salt content. This study tested a new method for predicting soil salt content with improved precision by using Chinese hyperspectral data, Huan Jing-Hyper Spectral Imager(HJ-HSI), in the coastal area of Rudong County, Eastern China. The vegetation-covered area and coastal bare flat area were distinguished by using the normalized differential vegetation index at the band length of 705 nm(NDVI705). The soil salt content of each area was predicted by various algorithms. A Normal Soil Salt Content Response Index(NSSRI) was constructed from continuum-removed reflectance(CR-reflectance) at wavelengths of 908.95 nm and 687.41 nm to predict the soil salt content in the coastal bare flat area(NDVI705 < 0.2). The soil adjusted salinity index(SAVI) was applied to predict the soil salt content in the vegetation-covered area(NDVI705 ≥ 0.2). 17Non-dormant Axillary Bud 1 regulates axillary bud outgrowth in sorghum显示文摘Tillering contributes to grain yield and plant architecture and therefore is an agronomically important trait in sorghum(Sorghum bicolor).Here,we identified and functionally characterized a mutant of the Nondormant Axillary Bud 1(NAB1)gene from an ethyl methanesulfonate-mutagenized sorghum population.The nab1 mutants have increased tillering and reduced plant height.Map-based cloning revealed that NAB1encodes a carotenoid-cleavage dioxygenase 7(CCD7)orthologous to rice(Oryza sativa)HIGH-TILLERING DWARF1/DWARF17 and Arabidopsis thaliana MORE AXILLARY BRANCHING 3.NAB1 is primarily expressed in axillary nodes and tiller bases and NAB1 localizes to chloroplasts.The nab1 mutation causes outgrowth of basal axillary buds;removing these non-dormant basal axillary buds restored the wild-type phenotype.The tillering of nab1 plants was completely suppressed by exogenous application of the synthetic strigolactone analog GR24.Moreover,the nab1plants had no detectable strigolactones and displayed stronger polar auxin transport than wild-type plants.Finally,RNA-seq showed that the expression of genes involved in multiple processes,including auxin-related genes,was significantly altered in nab1.These results suggest that NAB1 functions in strigolactone biosynthesis and the regulation of shoot branching via an interaction with auxin transport.Jun Chen Limin Zhang Mengjiao Zhu Lijie Han Ya Lv Yishan Liu Pan Li Haichun Jing Hongwei Cai 2018Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2018,60,10:3

20Improvement on the interface properties of p-GaAs/n-InP heterojunction for wafer bonded four-junction solar cells显示文摘The p-GaAs/n-InP heterojunction was fabricated by direct wafer bonding technology. The optimized atomic level contact between GaAs and InP is critical for getting good ohmic contact and removing the bubbles or voids at the interface, which is helpful to enhance the efficiency of wafer bonded multi-junction solar cells. Through the surface megasonic cleaning and the plasma treatment, we have achieved the high quality bonding interface without bubbles or voids and with interface resistivity of about 0.1 ohms/cm^2.
