1Serine metabolism orchestrates macrophage polarization by regulating the IGF1–p38 axis显示文摘Serine metabolism is reportedly involved in immune cell functions, but whether and how serine metabolism regulates macrophage polarization remain largely unknown. Here, we show that suppressing serine metabolism, either by inhibiting the activity of the key enzyme phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase in the serine biosynthesis pathway or by exogenous serine and glycine restriction, robustly enhances the polarization of interferon-γ-activated macrophages (M(IFN-γ)) but suppresses that of interleukin-4-activated macrophages (M(IL-4)) both in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, serine metabolism deficiency increases the expression of IGF1 by reducing the promoter abundance of S-adenosyl methionine-dependent histone H3 lysine 27 trimethylation. IGF1 then activates the p38-dependent JAK–STAT1 axis to promote M(IFN-γ) polarization and suppress STAT6-mediated M(IL-4) activation. 2The Enlightenment on Urban Ecological Construction by Research Progress of Sponge City in China Based on Literature Analysis显示文摘To quantitatively analyze main figure,field,agency and level of sponge city research in China,and clear research focus and hot spot in each year,by using the Full Text Database of Chinese Sci-tech Periodicals and other retrieval tools,the statistics and analysis of 3152 research literatures on sponge city published in domestic academic journals of 2004-2016 are conducted based on bibliometrics. It is found that since the concept of ' sponge city' was firstly proposed in 2012,development research of sponge city involves 40 subject fields and is mainly published in 32 kinds of journals,which is dominated by natural science research( 1427 literatures). Researchers are mainly from each college and university,some design institutes and Chinese Academy of Sciences. 3Phosphorylation of a wheat aquaporin at two sites enhances both plant growth and defense显示文摘Eukaryotic aquaporins share the characteristic of functional multiplicity in transporting distinct substrates and regulating various processes,but the underlying molecular basis for this is largely unknown.Here,we report that the wheat(Triticum aestivum)aquaporin TaPIP2;10 undergoes phosphorylation to promote photosynthesis and productivity and to confer innate immunity against pathogens and a generalist aphid pest.In response to elevated atmospheric CO_(2)concentrations,TaPIP2;10 is phosphorylated at the serine residue S280 and thereafter transports CO_(2)into wheat cells,resulting in enhanced photosynthesis and increased grain yield.In response to apoplastic H_(2)O_(2) induced by pathogen or insect attacks,TaPIP2;10 is phosphorylated at S121 and this phosphorylated form transports H_(2)O_(2) into the cytoplasm,where H_(2)O_(2)intensifies host defenses,restricting further attacks.Wheat resistance and grain yield could be simultaneously increased by TaPIP2;10 overexpression or by expressing a TaPIP2;10 phosphomimic with aspartic acid substitutions at S121 and S280,thereby improving both crop productivity and immunity.Kai Lu Xiaochen Chen Xiaohui Yao Yuyan An Xuan Wang Lina Qin Xiaoxu Li Zuodong Wang Shuo Liu Zhimao Sun Liyuan Zhang Lei Chen Baoyan Li Baoyou Liu Weiyang Wang Xinhua Ding Yonghua Yang Meixiang Zhang Shenshen Zou Hansong Dong 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,11:2

8Anesthetic management of children with congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis显示文摘Introduction:Congenital analgesia is a rare autosomal recessive hereditary disease.The primary damage of congenital analgesia is central structure damage of comprehensive pain perception.Case presentation:A 1-year-old Han Chinese boy was admitted to hospital because of a tongue bite.He had no response to noxious stimulation of the body surface and was diagnosed with congenital analgesia.A small dose of remifentanil was intravenously injected during anesthetic induction to reduce the stress response caused by endotracheal intubation.A certain depth of anesthesia should be guaranteed during anesthetic induction and surgery to alleviate the stress response induced by endotracheal intubation and the operation.Conclusion:Opioid analgesics are not required for general anesthesia in patient with congenital insensitivity to pain.With a heat dissipation barrier in patients with congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis,body temperature,end-tidal carbon dioxide and bispectral index should be monitored.Yongsheng Qiu Liyuan Zhao Dongdong Yao Yingping Jia 2020Pediatric Investigation2020,4,4:1
9Porn Streamer Recognition in Live Video Based on Multimodal Knowledge Distillation显示文摘Although deep learning has reached a higher accuracy for video content analysis,it is not satisfied with practical application demands of porn streamer recognition in live video because of multiple parameters,complex structures of deep network model.In order to improve the recognition efficiency of porn streamer in live video,a deep network model compression method based on multimodal knowledge distillation is proposed.First,the teacher model is trained with visual-speech deep network to obtain the corresponding porn video prediction score.Second,a lightweight student model constructed with Mobile Net V2 and Xception transfers the knowledge from the teacher model by using multimodal knowledge distillation strategy.Finally,porn streamer in live video is recognized by combining the lightweight student model of visualspeech network with the bullet screen text recognition network.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively drop the computation cost and improve the recognition speed under the proper accuracy.WANG Liyuan ZHANG Jing YAO Jiacheng ZHUO Li 2021Chinese Journal of Electronics2021,30,6:1
10Isolation of a New PAK1 Gene from Sea Cucumber(Apostichopus japonicus) and Its Expression Analysis and Function Characterization显示文摘The p21-activated kinase 1(PAK1)is a downstream serine/threonine kinase effector of Rac1/Cdc42 that regulates various biological processes including those associating with pathological inflammation.To investigate the function of PAK1 in echinoderms,we isolated a new PAK1 from sea cucumber Apostichopus japonicus(AjPAK1)by transcriptome database mining and with rapid amplification of cDNA ends(RACE).The full-length cDNA AjPAK1 was 2303 bp in length,containing a 1587 bp ORF encoding 528 amino acid residues.The deduced AjPAK1 contained a p21-Rho-binding domain(PBD)and a serine/threonine protein kinase catalytic domain(S_TKc),which was similar to the PAK1 of crown-of-thorns starfish Acanthaster planci and other eukaryotes.AjPAK1 expressed in all tissues of adult A.japonicus analyzed with the highest transcript anumdance detected in coelomocytes.Significant change in AjPAK1 abundance was observed at 4,24,48 and 72 h after Vibrio splendidus infection.Silencing AjPAK1 induced a significant reduction of lysozyme content in coelomic fluid and relative transcript abundances of AjRac1 and AjMKK3/6 in A.japonicus coelomocytes.These results should aid to characterize PAK1 of sea cucumber and decipher its immune function.REN Liyuan LI Kaiquan ZHAN Yaoyao WANG Yi YU Yao CHEN Yang LIN Kai SONG Jian CHANG Yaqing 2019Journal of Ocean University of China2019,18,5:1

12Deletion of CHD8 in cerebellar granule neuron progenitors leads to severe cerebellar hypoplasia,ataxia,and psychiatric behavior in mice显示文摘CHD8 is a candidate gene for autism spectrum disorders and neurological development delay.It has been reported to be essential for neurogenesis in the cerebral cortex,but the function of CHD8 in cerebellum has not been comprehensively investigated.The potential relationship of cerebellum dysplasia with psychiatric disorders in patients with CHD8 mutations is still not clear.In this study,we establish different conditional knockout mouse models to investigate the roles of CHD8 in cerebellar development.Mice with neural stem cell-specific Chd8 deletion exhibit significant reduction of cerebellum volume and no layering structure is detected.Genetic deletion of Chd8 in cerebellar granule neuron progenitors(GNPs)leads to cerebellar hypoplasia,absent of proliferation layer and ectopic of Purkinje neuron.However,no substantial cerebellar dysplasia is detected in mice with Purkinje neuron-or oligodendrocyte-specific Chd8 ablation.Single-cell RNA sequencing indicates that ribosome-related genes and pathways are most significantly disrupted in GNPs,indicating the potential mechanism.Importantly,in addition to the ataxia phenotype,mice with GNPspecific Chd8 ablation present a neuropsychiatric phenotype in three-chamber and light/dark tests.Taken together,our results provide insights not only into the function of CHD8 in cerebellar development,but also the pathogenesis of neuropsychiatric disorders in patients with CHD8 mutations.Xiang Chen Tong Chen Chen Dong Huiyao Chen Xinran Dong Lin Yang Liyuan Hu Huijun Wang Bingbing Wu Ye Yao Yu Xiong Man Xiong Yifeng Lin Wenhao Zhou 2022Journal of Genetics and Genomics2022,49,9:1
13High power-efficient asynchronous SAR ADC for IoT devices显示文摘This paper presents a power-efficient 100-MS/s,10-bit asynchronous successive approximation register(SAR) ADC.It includes an on-chip reference buffer and the total power dissipation is 6.8 mW.To achieve high performance with high power-efficiency in the proposed ADC,bootstrapped switch,redundancy,set-and-down switching approach,dynamic comparator and dynamic logic techniques are employed.The prototype was fabricated using 65 nm standard CMOS technology.At a 1.2-V supply and 100 MS/s,the ADC achieves an SNDR of 56.2 dB and a SFDR of 65.1 dB.The ADC core consumes only 3.1 mW,resulting in a figure of merit(FOM) of 30.27 fJ/conversionstep and occupies an active area of only 0.009 mm^2.Beichen Zhang Bingbing Yao Liyuan Liu Jian Liu Nanjian Wu 2017Journal of Semiconductors2017,38,10:0

16Screening for Anti-tumor Activity of Fractions from Buddleja officinalis Maxim显示文摘[Objectives]The anti-tumor activity of fractions from Buddleja officinalis Maxim.by petroleum ether,ethyl acetate,n-butanol and water solvent was studied.[Methods]The ethanol extract from B.officinalis Maxim.was extracted and then concentrated with petroleum ether,ethyl acetate,n-butanol and water,respectively,and the extracts were obtained.The inhibitory effects of the four different fractions on the growth of three tumor cell lines in vitro were detected by CCK-8 method,and the median inhibitory concentration(IC 50 value)was calculated.[Results]The four fractions inhibited the growth of the three tumor cell lines in vitro,among which the n-butanol fraction had the best anti-tumor activity.The IC 50 values of the n-butanol fraction on human gastric cancer(SGC-7901),human breast cancer(MCF-7)and human liver cancer(BEL-7404)cell lines were 0.08,1.58 and 0.12 mg/mL,respectively.[Conclusions]Petroleum ether,ethyl acetate,n-butanol and water fractions from the ethanol extract of B.officinalis Maxim.had certain anti-tumor effects,and the n-butanol fraction had the best anti-tumor activity.Tong LI Xin XIE Liyuan LI Aipeng LI Zhidong LEI Tingting HE Sirui MO Shangfeng HUANG Yao LIN Suoyi HUANG Lixiang LU Shiyou ZHOU 2024Medicinal Plant2024,15,2:0
17High-fidelity transfer of area-selective atomic layer deposition grown HfO_(2)through DNA origami-assisted nanolithography显示文摘DNA origami-assisted nanolithography(DOANL)for fabricating custom-designed nanomaterials through pattern transfer from DNA origami to different substrates materials are presented.However,the pattern's integrity and resolution face considerable challenges due to the uncontrollable growth of the nanomaterials during transformation and the unclear mechanism of DOANL.Herein,we report a DOANL combined with area-selective atomic layer deposition(ALD)strategy for fabricating custom shapes hafnium oxide(HfO2)with the high-fidelity and high-throughput.We find that the HfO_(2)selectively grows on DNA origami substrates in a hydroxyl-rich area instead of a methyl-rich protective layer.Combined with the merit of the area-selective ALD method,theHfO_(2)atom selectively coated on the DNA origami surface,thus,precisely modeling the shapes with high-precision in our study based on the surface groups difference of DNA origami and the naked hexamethyldisilane(HMDS)-treated substrates,which reveal the mechanical of high-fidelity pattern transfer based on DOANL.As a result,DNA origami structures can program the shape ofHfO_(2)nanostructures.The DOANL that is based on the principle of'bottom-up'precision assembly breaks through the shape complexity and high-throughput fabrication limitation of theHfO_(2)nanostructures,including two-and three-dimensional structures,plane and curved structures,monolithic and hollow structures.Based on the'top-down'accurate fabrication principle,the area-selective ALD on methyl-rich protective layer substrates improves the integrity and resolution of the pattern transfer process.Overall,this work provides a general technology for nanofabrication strategy.Xiaowan Yuan Daiqin Xiao Wei Yao Zhihao Zhang Lin Yang Liyuan Zhang Yibo Zeng Jiaqi Liao Shanxiong Luo Chonghao Li Hong Chen Xiangmeng Qu 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:0
18Effects of Sodium Nitroprussiate on the Metabolites and Key Enzyme Activities of Carbon-nitrogen Metabolism from Seed Germination to Seedling Period of Cherry Tomato显示文摘This study was conducted to elucidate the regulating mechanism of sodium nitroprussiate on seed germination and seedling growth of cherry tomato. After the treatment with different concentrations of sodium nitroprusside,the effects on the metabolites and key enzyme activities in carbon-nitrogen metabolism of cherry tomato cultivar Zhuyun as an experimental material were investigated. The results showed that from seed germination to seedling period,the contents of starch and total nitrogen decreased,but the contents of soluble sugar,reducing sugar,sucrose and soluble protein increased firstly and then decreased; and free amino acids content increased gradually. Sodium nitroprusside made the contents of starch,sucrose and free amino acids higher than CK. From seed germination to seedling period in cherry tomato,the activities of amylase,glutamine synthetase( GS) and sucrose phosphate synthase( SPS) decreased; the activities of nitrate reductase( NR) and glutamate synthase( GOGAT) increased at first and decreased then; and the CK and the 0. 25 mmol/L sodium nitroprusside treatments exhibited decreased sucrose synthase( SS) activity,and the trend was increasing at first and decreasing then after the treatment with 0. 50 and 1. 00 mmol/L sodium nitroprusside. Sodium nitroprusside treatment improved amylase activity; and the carbon-nitrogen ratio of the CK increased at first and decreased then,while the values of other treatments tended to decrease. In addition,sodium nitroprusside did not affect seed germination potential and germination rate,but significantly improved biomass accumulation,root length and height of seedlings. 19A solid-state nanopore-based single-molecule approach for label-free characterization of plant polysaccharides显示文摘Polysaccharides are important biomacromolecules existing in all plants,most of which are integrated into a fibrillar structure called the cell wall.In the absence of an effective methodology for polysaccharide analysis that arises from compositional heterogeneity and structural flexibility,our knowledge of cell wall architecture and function is greatly constrained.Here,we develop a single-molecule approach for identifying plant polysaccharides with acetylated modification levels.We designed a solid-state nanopore sensor supported by a free-standing SiNx membrane in fluidic cells.This device was able to detect cell wall polysaccharide xylans at concentrations as low as 5 ng/mL and discriminate xylans with hyperacetylated and unacetylated modifications.We further demonstrated the capability of this method in distinguishing arabinoxylan and glucuronoxylan in monocot and dicot plants.Combining the data for categorizing polysaccharide mixtures,our study establishes a single-molecule platformfor polysaccharide analysis,opening a new avenue for understanding cell wall structures,and expanding polysaccharide applications.Yao Cai Baocai Zhang Liyuan Liang Sen Wang Lanjun Zhang Liang Wang Hong-Liang Cui Yihua Zhou Deqiang Wang 2021Plant Communications2021,2,2:0
