1Water blocking effect caused by the use of hydraulic methods for permeability enhancement in coal seams and methods for its removal显示文摘To research techniques for removing the water blocking effect caused by hydraulic applications in coal seams,the use of surfactants is proposed,based on the mechanics of the water blocking effect.Centrifugal experiments were used to validate the effects of using surfactants;the results show that after dealing with vacuum saturation with water,the volume of micropores decreases,which results in a larger average pore size,and the volume of transitional pores,mesopores,macropores and total pores increases.Based on the distribution of pore size,the operation mode of ‘‘water infusion after gas extraction,then continuing gas extraction' is recommended to improve the volume of coal mine gas drainage.When the reflectance of vitrinite in coal samples is less than 1,using the surfactants Fast T,1631,APG,BS can mitigate the damage caused by the water blocking effect.But when the reflectance of vitrinite is larger than 1.4,the damage caused by the water blocking effect can be increased.When the surfactant CMC is used in hydraulic applications,the capillary forces of coal samples are almost negative,which means the capillary force is in the same direction as the gas extraction.The direction of capillary forces benefits the gas flow.So,using CMC can play an active role in removing the water blocking effect.Centrifugal experiments confirm that using CMC can effectively remove the water blocking effect,which has a beneficial effect on improving the gas drainage volume.Liu Qian Guo Yusen An Fenghua Lin Luyao Lai Yongming 2016International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,4:8
2Sintilimab versus docetaxel as second-line treatment in advanced or metastatic squamous non-small-cell lung cancer:an open-label,randomized controlled phase 3 trial(ORIENT-3)显示文摘Background:Treatment options for Chinese patients with locally advanced or metastatic squamous-cell non-small-cell lung cancer(sqNSCLC)after failure of first-line chemotherapy are limited.This study(ORIENT-3)aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of sintilimab versus docetaxel as second-line treatment in patients with locally advanced or metastatic sqNSCLC.Methods:ORIENT-3 was an open-label,multicenter,randomized controlled phase 3 trial that recruited patients with stage IIIB/IIIC/IV sqNSCLC after failure with first-line platinum-based chemotherapy.Patients were randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive either 200 mg of sintilimab or 75 mg/m^(2) of docetaxel intravenously every 3 weeks,stratified by the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status.The primary endpoint was overall survival(OS)in the full analysis set(FAS).Secondary endpoints included progression-free survival(PFS),objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),duration of response(DoR)and safety.Results:Between August 25,2017,and November 7,2018,290 patients were randomized.For FAS,10 patients fromthe docetaxel armwere excluded.Themedian OS was 11.79(n=145;95%confidence interval[CI],10.28-15.57)months with sintilimab versus 8.25(n=135;95%CI,6.47-9.82)months with docetaxel(hazard ratio[HR]:0.74;95%CI,0.56-0.96;P=0.025).Sintilimab treatment significantly prolonged PFS(median 4.30 vs.2.79 months;HR:0.52;95%CI,0.39-0.68;P<0.001)and showed higher ORR(25.50%vs.2.20%,P<0.001)and DCR(65.50%vs.37.80%,P<0.001)than the docetaxel arm.The median DoRwas 12.45(95%CI,4.86-25.33)months in the sintilimab arm and 4.14(95%CI,1.41-7.23)months in the docetaxel arm(P=0.045).Treatment-related adverse events of grade≥3were reported in 26(18.1%)patients in the sintilimab arm and 47(36.2%)patients in the docetaxel arm.Exploratory biomarker analysis showed potential predictive values of expression levels of two transcription factors,including OVOL2(HR:0.35;P<0.001)and CTCF(HR:3.50;P<0.001),for sintilimab treatment.Conclusions:Compared with docetaxel,sintilimab significantly improved the OS,PFS,and ORR of Chinese patients with previously treated locally advanced or metastatic sqNSCLC.Yuankai Shi Lin Wu Xinmin Yu Puyuan Xing Yan Wang Jianying Zhou Airong Wang Jianhua Shi Yi Hu Ziping Wang Guangyu An Yong Fang Sanyuan Sun Caicun Zhou Changli Wang Feng Ye Xingya Li Junye Wang Mengzhao Wang Yunpeng Liu Yanqiu Zhao Ying Yuan Jifeng Feng Zhendong Chen Jindong Shi Tao Sun Gang Wu Yongqian Shu Qisen Guo Yi Zhang Yong Song Shucai Zhang Yuan Chen Wei Li Hongrui Niu Wenwei Hu Lijun Wang Jianan Huang Yang Zhang Ying Cheng Zhengdong Wu Bo Peng Jiya Sun Christoph Mancao Yanqi Wang Luyao Sun 2022Cancer Communications2022,42,12:8
3Design and analysis of a truss deployable antenna mechanism based on a 3UU-3URU unit显示文摘Space deployable structures with large calibers, high accuracy, and large folding ratios are indispensable equipment in the aerospace field. Given that the single-DOF 3 RR-3 RRR deployable unit cannot be fully folded, this study proposes a 3 UU-3 URU deployable unit with two kinds of DOF: folding movement and orientation adjustment. First, based on the G-K formula, the DOF of the 3 UU-3 URU unit is analyzed. Then, the 3 UU-3 URU unit is used to construct a deployable truss antenna with a curved surface, and the DOF of the whole deployable antenna containing multiple 3 UU-3 URU units is calculated. The structural design of a deployable antenna with two loops is carried out with specific parameters and geometric relations. Next, a DOF simulation of a basic combination unit composed of three 3 UU-3 URU units is performed. 4The role of recrystallization and grain growth in optimizing the sheet texture of magnesium alloys with calcium addition during annealing显示文摘The contribution of recrystallization and grain growth to the texture evolution in AZ31 alloy and a modified version AZ31+0.5 wt.%Ca was investigated utilizing a multi-step annealing process.The results showed that the addition of Ca triggered a considerable texture modification by increasing the texture spread and decreasing the overall texture intensity.This effect was found to be temperature dependent.When the annealing temperature remained lower than 450℃,a weak double peak texture with large basal pole tilt towards the RD was formed.This is correlated to microstructure observations of a large number of Ca-containing nano-sized particles that seemed to suppress grain growth below 450℃,which stabilized the weak recrystallization texture.This favorable texture was lost upon annealing at higher temperatures.In AZ31,recrystallization nuclei were found to preserve the orientation of their deformed parents,which offered limited potential to optimize the texture via annealing treatments.Grain growth of recrystallized grains resulted in a distinct sheet texture transition from a double-peak to a single-peak basal texture.Aspects of grain boundary energy and grain topology are discussed to explain the growth advantage of the sharp basal component over other orientations.Fei Guo Risheng Pei Luyao Jiang Dingfei Zhang Sandra Korte-Kerzel Talal Al-Samman 2020Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2020,8,1:4
5Dental plaque-inspired versatile nanosystem for caries prevention and tooth restoration显示文摘Dental caries is one of the most prevalent human diseases resulting from tooth demineralization caused by acid production of bacteria plaque.It remains challenges for current practice to specifically identify,intervene and interrupt the development of caries while restoring defects.In this study,inspired by natural dental plaque,a stimuli-responsive multidrug delivery system(PMs@NaF-SAP)has been developed to prevent tooth decay and promote enamel restoration.Classic spherical core-shell structures of micelles dual-loaded with antibacterial and restorative agents are self-assembled into bacteria-responsive multidrug delivery system based on the pH-cleavable boronate ester bond,followed by conjugation with salivary-acquired peptide(SAP)to endow the nanoparticle with strong adhesion to tooth enamel.The constructed PMs@NaF-SAP specifically adheres to tooth,identifies cariogenic conditions and intelligently releases drugs at acidic pH,thereby providing antibacterial adhesion and cariogenic biofilm resistance,and restoring the microarchitecture and mechanical properties of demineralized teeth.Topical treatment with PMs@NaF-SAP effectively diminishes the onset and severity of caries without impacting oral microbiota diversity or surrounding mucosal tissues.These findings demonstrate this novel nanotherapy has potential as a promising biomedical application for caries prevention and tooth defect restoration while resisting biofilm-associated diseases in a controlled manner activated by pathological bacteria.Yue Xu Yuan You Luyao Yi Xiaoyi Wu Yaning Zhao Jian Yu He Liu Ya Shen Jingmei Guo Cui Huang 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,2:3
6Rolling texture development in a dual-phase Mg-Li alloy:The role of temperature显示文摘Dual-phase Mg-Li alloys sheets were rolled at four different temperatures ranging from liquid nitrogen to 300℃to explore effect of rolling temperature on texture and mechanical properties of the material.Crystal plasticity simulation was utilized to illustrate the influence of slip activity on rolling texture development.The results show that the rolling texture is largely depended on deformation temperature.Unlike commercial Mg alloys,the critical resolved shear stress of basal slip inα-Mg phase of Mg-Li alloy decreased more significantly by increasing temperature compared to that of pyramidalslip.Enhancement of basal slip by increasing temperature triggered a decrease of split angle of basal poles for the double-peak texture.Prismaticslip largely enhanced by increasing temperature upon 200℃,which induced a wider orientation spread along the transverse direction.For theβ-Li phase,the promotion of{110}<111>slip system at elevated temperature triggered the enhancement of{211}<110>and{111}<211>texture components.The cryo-rolled sample exhibited the highest strength compared to the others due to a strong hardening behavior at this temperature.A two-stage hardening behavior was observed in these as-rolled dual-phase alloys.Strain transition at phase boundaries could be the reason for appearance of this two-stage hardening.Xiaoyan Li Fei Guo Yanlong Ma Luyao Jiang Hongliang Lai Haiding Liu Dingfei Zhang Risheng Pei 2023Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2023,11,8:2
7Investigation of PM_(2.5) pollution during COVID-19 pandemic in Guangzhou,China显示文摘The COVID-19 pandemic has raised awareness about various environmental issues,includ-ing PM_(2.5) pollution.Here,PM_(2.5) pollution during the COVID-19 lockdown was traced and an-alyzed to clarify the sources and factors influencing PM_(2.5) in Guangzhou,with an emphasis on heavy pollution.The lockdown led to large reductions in industrial and traffic emissions,which significantly reduced PM_(2.5) concentrations in Guangzhou.Interestingly,the trend of PM_(2.5) concentrations was not consistent with traffic and industrial emissions,as minimum concentrations were observed in the fourth period(3/01-3/31,22.45 μg/m^(3))of the lockdown.However,the concentrations of other gaseous pollutants,e.g.,SO_(2),NO_(2) and CO,were corre-lated with industrial and traffic emissions,and the lowest values were noticed in the sec-ond period(1/24-2/0_(3))of the lockdown.Meteorological correlation analysis revealed that the decreased PM_(2.5) concentrations during COVID-19 can be mainly attributed to decreased in-dustrial and traffic emissions rather than meteorological conditions.When meteorological factors were included in the PM_(2.5) composition and backward trajectory analyses,we found that long-distance transportation and secondary pollution offset the reduction of primary emissions in the second and third stages of the pandemic.Notably,industrial PM_(2.5) emis-sions from western,southern and southeastern Guangzhou play an important role in the formation of heavy pollution events.Our results not only verify the importance of control-ling traffic and industrial emissions,but also provide targets for further improvements in PM_(2.5) pollution.Luyao Wen Chun Yang Xiaoliang Liao Yanhao Zhang Xuyang Chai Wenjun Gao Shulin Guo Yinglei Bi Suk-Ying Tsang Zhi-Feng Chen Zenghua Qi Zongwei Cai 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,5:2
8Type synthesis of deployable mechanisms for ring truss antenna based on constraint-synthesis method显示文摘Space deployable antenna is the key equipment in realizing the communication and data transmission between the spacecraft and the earth.In order to enrich the configurations of deployable antennas,the type synthesis of deployable mechanisms for ring truss antenna is conducted in this study.First,the principle of the constraint-synthesis method based on screw theory is briefly described,the structure of the ring truss deployable antenna and its folding principle are analyzed,and the ring truss mechanism is divided into upper edges,lower edges and linkages.Then,based on the constraint-synthesis method,the type synthesis of the basic unit edges is carried out,a series of basic unit mechanisms are obtained from combining the basic unit edge mechanisms,and five mechanism units with fewer joints and simple structures are selected.Furthermore,simulation models of the five ring truss deployable mechanisms are built in Solidworks and Matlab software,and the deploying process is verified by the movement simulation.Finally,mechanism characteristics of the five mechanisms are analyzed and discussed,and a prototype is manufactured,verifying the analysis in this paper.This research provides a new way for the type synthesis of spatial deployable mechanisms,and the ring truss deployable mechanisms obtained in this study can be well applied in the field of aerospace.Bo HAN Yundou XU Jiantao YAO Dong ZHENG Luyao GUO Yongsheng ZHAO 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,9:1

11Variation of mechanical properties and microstructure of hot-rolled AA2099 Al-Li alloy induced by the precipitation during preheating process显示文摘Preheating is the first step for thermal-mechanical processing of the materials. Several preheating schedules were designed based on industrial manufacturing to explore their effect on the microstructure and mechanical properties of AA2099 Al-Li alloy during the following hot rolling. The results show that the mechanical properties of as-rolled sheets are quite sensitive to preheating. Various types of secondary phases, including δ', T1 and T2 phases, were precipitated during the heating process. The difference among precipitates is the main reason to induce the variation of mechanical properties for as-rolled sheets. A rapid heating rate gave rise to the precipitation of δ' phase, which largely promoted yield stress and ultimate tensile strength in as-rolled sheets. T1 phase was more favorable in the preheating with a holding period at 150–250 °C, which caused a moderated strain hardening behavior. Precipitates formed during preheating induced different slip behaviors in the following deformation. The coexistence of T1 and δ' phase could restrict planar slip, which inhibited the formation of the shear band. 12Epicatechin gallate prevents the de novo synthesis of fatty acid and the migration of prostate cancer cells显示文摘Lipid metabolism disorder caused by the upregulation of lipogenic genes is a typical feature of prostate cancer.The synthesis of fatty acids is enhanced to accelerate the development of prostate cancer and is considered as a potential therapeutic target.Epicatechin gallate,an active compound of green tea,has been reported to modulate lipid metabolism.In this research,the potential role of epicatechin gallate in prostate cancer cells was evaluated.The results indicated that epicatechin gallate downregulates the expression of acetyl-CoA carboxylase,ATP citrate lyase,and fatty acid synthase in prostate cancer cells and prostate xenograft tissues,suggesting that epicatechin gallate can inhibit de novo fatty acid synthesis.Moreover,epicatechin gallate significantly restrains the migration rather than the viability of prostate cancer cells.PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway,which exhibits regulatory effect on lipogenesis,is also inhibited under epicatechin gallate treatment,while pretreatment with AKT activator SC79 or mTOR activator MHY1485 blocks the inhibitory effect of epicatechin gallate on the expression of lipogenic genes and the migration of prostate cancer cells.In conclusion,this study revealed that epicatechin gallate impairs the synthesis of fatty acids via inhibition PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway and then attenuates the migration of prostate cancer cells.Luyao Chen Yaping Guo Zixuan Wu Shuwu Zhao Zhaiyi Zhang Fang Zheng Likang Sun Zheng Hao Chen Xu Tao Wang Yanfei Peng 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,12:1
13Can the scaling of plant nitrogen to phosphorus be altered by global change? 14Rethinking the urban resilience:Extension and connotation显示文摘In recent years,urban resilience has attracted increasing attention from researchers and managers from the international community at the national,regional,and urban levels.Numerous multi-dimensional and cross-disciplinary investigations,campaigns,and outlines have significantly promoted the development goal of re-silience in cities worldwide.However,the existing definitions and interpretations of urban resilience still call for a more comprehensive,systematic,and exhaustive analysis as urbanization accelerates and the complex risks of various safety events increase.To this end,we rethink the extension and connotation of urban resilience based on a review and analysis of critical hotspots,realistic demand,and development trends.A conceptual classification with three aspects and three typical tiers of urban resilience is proposed,which further promotes a new definition and interpretation by incorporating the resilience extension of urban systems.In addition,the six-dimensional characteristics are extracted to furnish the urban resilience connotation,and four-stage improvement measures are introduced accordingly.In addition,the newly developed urban resilience is applied to a case analysis of a large-scale disaster,which demonstrates the necessity and significance of this study.The new extension and connotation investigation will be helpful for the improvement and implementation of urban resilience,thereby guiding the construction of resilient cities.Rui Ba Chenyang Wang Luyao Kou Xiaojing Guo Hui Zhang 2022Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2022,3,4:0
15Ce(Ⅲ)-modulation over non-enzymatic Pt/CeO_(2)/GO biosensor with outstanding sensitivity and stability for lactic acid detection显示文摘A series of non-enzymatic graphene functionalized biosensors was developed via deposition precipitation method for lactic acid(LA) detection,which we re characterized by transmission electron micro scopy(TEM),Raman spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),gas chromatography-mass spectrometry,liquid chromatography-mass spectro metry,and proton nuclear magnetic re sonance(~1H NMR).The electrochemical performances of the non-enzymatic biosensors were measured by means of the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) and cyclic voltammetry(CV) method.The comprehensive analysis of structures shows that Pt,CeO_(2),and GO components interact with each other.During the storing and releasing oxygen,the valence ratio of Ce^(3+)/Ce^(4+) and the number of oxygen vacancies in CeO_(2) change accordingly,which can be conducive to increasing electronic transmission capacity and finally leads to the improvement of electrocatalytic performance.Among them,the Pt/CeO_(2)/GO biosensor containing 0.47 at% platinum exhibits an excellent electrochemical detection performance with high sensitivity of 12.3 μA·L/(mmol·cm^(2)) and a low limit of detection(LOD) of 5.12 μmol/L in a wide linear range from 10 to 900 μmol/L.In addition,the proposed biosensor possesses a promising anti-interference capability,as well as high stability and good reproducibility,which was assessed by testing the cyclic voltammogram in 0.1 mol/L lactic acid one year later.The underlying mechanism was proposed for electrochemical oxidation of LA to carbon dioxide and acetic acid with the synergistic effect among Pt,CeO_(2),and GO.Furthermore,the results of the standard addition method in real samples(human serum and urine samples) reveal that the lactic acid detection of the non-enzymatic Pt/CeO_(2)/GO biosensor is accompanied by high reliability.Thus,it will be a valuable biosensor for in vitro detection of lactic acid level in clinical samples.Luyao Zhang Fuli Tian Huan Li Jiangman Meng Qi Liu Xiaoqian Guo Yun Qiu Jun Zhang Changyan Li 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,9:0
16Innovative design and optimization of a two-dimensional deployable nine-grid planar antenna mechanism with a flat reflection surface显示文摘With the development of the aerospace industry,space missions are becoming more complicated and diversified,and there is a demand for antenna mechanisms with a larger physical aperture.In this paper,a planar deployable mechanism is proposed,which can form a flat reflection surface with a small gap between plates.To this end,a novel large-scale two-dimensional deployable nine-grid planar antenna mechanism is designed.First,two antenna folding schemes and four supporting mechanism schemes are proposed.Through comparison analysis,the antenna configuration scheme with the best comprehensive performance is selected.A kinematic model of the deployable mechanism is established,and its kinematic characteristics are analyzed.Then,the correctness of the kinematic model is verified by comparing the analytical and simulation results of the kinematic model.Subsequently,a finite element model of the antenna is developed.Based on the response surface method,the structural parameters of the support rods of the antenna are optimized,and a set of optimized solutions with lightweight and high fundamental frequency characteristics are obtained.Finally,a prototype of the proposed nine-grid planar antenna is fabricated.The feasibility of the deployment principle and the rationality of the designed mechanism are verified by deployment experiments.Bo CHEN Ze JIANG Xinlu WEI Luyao GUO Xin ZHOU Yundou XU Junjie QIAN Yongsheng ZHAO 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,11:0

18Modeling the External,Internal,and Multi-Center Transmission of Infectious Diseases:The COVID-19 Case显示文摘We used the Bass model to investigate the transmission dynamics of COVID-19 taking the United States and China as examples.The Bass model was originated from business literature and initially modeled the process of new products getting adopted by the population with an external and internal influence term.First,we fit the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in 8 major cities in the United States with the Bass model.The external and internal parameters of Bass were calculated and correlation analyses were performed between the parameters and the volume of traveling across different cities and within a city.The results show that the Bass model fits the epidemics data better than the logistic distribution which only has an internal influence term and the SIR model which is a classical infectious disease model.Besides,there is a significant positive correlation between the external parameter of Bass and the number of passengers at the airport as well as between the internal parameter of Bass and the number of short-distance trips in a city.Therefore,it is closer to true circumstances considering both external and internal transmission rather than assuming a region to be isolated.The external infection rate rises as the number of enplanements rises and the internal infection rate rises as the number of short-distance trips in a city rises.Second,we put forward an adapted multi-center Bass model for the multi-chain COVID-19 transmission in China and compared it with the original Bass model.The results indicated that the accuracy of the multi-center Bass model was higher than that of the original Bass model.In conclusion,the Bass model distinguishes the external and internal effects and is suitable for simulating the spread of COVID-19 and analyzing the infection rate caused by social interactions among different regions and inside a region.The adapted multi-center Bass model commendably described disease transmission when there is more than one transmission center.Our research proves the Bass model to be a useful tool for fine-level analyses on the transmission mechanism of COVID-19.Xiaojing Guo Hui Zhang Luyao Kou Yufan Hou 2022Journal of Social Computing2022,3,2:0
19Advances in the Application of Perovskite Materials显示文摘Nowadays, the soar of photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells has set off a fever in the study of metal halide perovskite materials. The excellent optoelectronic properties and defect tolerance feature allow metal halide perovskite to be employed in a wide variety of applications. This article provides a holistic review over the current progress and future prospects of metal halide perovskite materials in representative promising applications, including traditional optoelectronic devices(solar cells, light-emitting diodes, photodetectors, lasers), and cutting-edge technologies in terms of neuromorphic devices(artificial synapses and memristors) and pressure-induced emission.
