| 3 | Nitrated and parent PAHs in the surface water of Lake Taihu,China:Occurrence,distribution,source,and human health risk assessment显示文摘Nitrated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(NPAHs)have toxic potentials that are higher than those of their corresponding parent polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)and thus have received increasing attention in recent years.In this study,the occurrence,distribution,source,and human health risk assessment of 15 NPAHs and 16 PAHs were investigated in the surface water from 20 sampling sites of Lake Taihu during the dry,normal,and flood seasons of 2018.The PAH concentrations ranged from 255 to 7298 ng/L and the NPAH concentrations ranged from not-detected(ND)to 212 ng/L.Among the target analytes,2-nitrofluorene(2-n Flu)was the predominant NPAH,with a detection frequency ranging from 85%to 90%and a maximum concentration of 56.2 ng/L.The three-ringed and four-ringed NPAHs and PAHs comprised the majority of the detected compounds.In terms of seasonal variation,the highest levels of the NPAHs and PAHs were in the dry season and flood season,respectively.Diagnostic ratio analysis indicated that the prime source of NPAHs was direct combustion,whereas in the case of PAHs the contribution was predominantly from a mixed pattern including pollution from unburned petroleum and petroleum combustion.The human health risk of NPAHs and PAHs was evaluated using a lifetime carcinogenic risk assessment model.The carcinogenic risk level of the targets ranged from 2.09×10^(-7)to 5.75×10^(-5)and some surface water samples posed a potential health risk. | Jijie Kong Yuxuan Dai Mengshu Han Huan He Jiapeng Hu Junyi Zhang Junzhe Shi Qiming Xian Shaogui Yang Cheng Sun | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,4: | 6 |

| 6 | A modified HLA-A^(*)0201-restricted CTL epitope from human oncoprotein (hPEBP4) induces more efficient antitumor responses显示文摘We previously identified human phosphatidylethanolamine-binding protein 4(hPEBP4)as an antiapoptotic protein with increased expression levels in breast,ovarian and prostate cancer cells,but low expression levels in normal tissues,which makes hPEBP4 an attractive target for immunotherapy.Here,we developed hPEBP4-derived immunogenic peptides for inducing antigen-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes(CTLs)targeting breast cancer.A panel of hPEBP4-derived peptides predicted by peptide-MHC-binding algorithms was evaluated to characterize their HLAA2.1 affinity and immunogenicity.We identified a novel immunogenic peptide,P40–48(TLFCQGLEV),that was capable of eliciting specific CTL responses in HLA-A2.1/K^(b) transgenic mice,as well as in peripheral blood lymphocytes from breast cancer patients.Furthermore,amino-acid substitutions in the P40–48 sequence improved its immunogenicity against hPEBP4,a self-antigen,thus circumventing tolerance.We designed peptide analogs by preferred auxiliary HLA-A^(*)0201 anchor residue replacement,which induced CTLs that were crossreactive to the native peptide.Several analogs were able to stably bind to HLA-A^(*)0201 and elicit specific CTL responses better than the native sequence.Importantly,adoptive transfer of CTLs induced by vaccination with two analogs more effectively inhibited tumor growth than the native peptide.These data indicate that peptide analogs with high immunogenicity represent promising candidates for peptide-mediated therapeutic cancer vaccines. | Weihong Sun Junyi Shi Jian Wu Junchu Zhang Huabiao Chen Yuanyuan Li Shuxun Liu Yanfeng Wu Zhigang Tian Xuetao Cao Nan Li | 2018 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018,15,8: | 4 |

| 10 | Integrated transcriptome and metabolite profiling highlights the role of benzoxazinoids in wheat resistance against Fusarium crown rot显示文摘Fusarium crown rot(FCR), caused by Fusarium spp., is a chronic and severe plant disease worldwide. In the last years, the incidence and severity of FCR in China has increased to the point that it is now considered a threat to local wheat crops. In this study, for the first time, the metabolites and transcripts responsive to FCR infection in the partial resistant wheat cultivar 04 Zhong 36(04 z36) and susceptible cultivar Xinmai 26(XM) were investigated and compared at 20 and 25 days post inoculation(dpi). A total of 443 metabolites were detected, of which 102 were significantly changed because of pathogen colonization.Most of these 102 metabolites belonged to the flavonoid, phenolic acid, amino acid and derivative classes.Some metabolites, such as proline betaine, lauric acid, ribitol, and arabitol, were stably induced by Fusarium pseudograminearum(Fp) infection at two time points and may have important roles in FCR resistance. In line with the reduced seedling height of 04 z36 and XM plants, RNA-seq analysis revealed that FCR infection significantly affected the photosynthesis activities in two cultivars. Furthermore, 15 jasmonate ZIM-domain genes(JAZ) in the significantly enriched ‘regulation of jasmonic acid mediated signaling pathway’ in 04 z36 were down-regulated. The down-regulation of these JAZ genes in 04 z36 may cause a strong activation of the jasmonate signaling pathway. Based on combined data from gene expression and metabolite profiles, two metabolites, benzoxazolin-2-one(BOA) and 6-methoxy-benzoxazolin-2-one(MBOA), involved in the benzoxazinoid-biosynthesis pathway, were tested for their effects on FCR resistance. Both BOA and MBOA significantly reduced fungal growth in vitro and in vivo, and, thus, a higher content of BOA and MBOA in 04 z36 may contribute to FCR resistance. | 11 | Estimation of chlorophyll content in maize canopy using wavelet denoising and SVR method显示文摘In order to estimate the chlorophyll content of maize plant non-destructively and rapidly,the research was conducted on maize at the heading stage using spectroscopy technology.The spectral reflectance of maize canopy was measured and processed following wavelet denoising and multivariate scatter correction(MSC)to reduce the noise influence.Firstly,the signal to noise ratio(SNR)and curve smoothness(CS)were used to evaluate the denoising effect of different wavelet functions and decomposition levels.As a result,the Sym6 wavelet basis function and the 5th level decomposition were determined to denoise the original signal.The MSC method was used to eliminate the scattering effect after denoising.Then three spectral ranges were extracted by interval partial least squares(IPLS)including the 525-549 nm,675-749 nm and 850-874 nm.Finally,the chlorophyll content estimation model was developed by using support vector regression(SVR)method.The calibration Rc2 of the SVR model was 0.831,the RMSEC was 1.3852 mg/L;the validation Rv2 was 0.809,the RMSEP was 0.8664 mg/L.The results show that the SNR and CS indicators can be used to select the parameters for wavelet denoising and model can be used to estimate the chlorophyll content of maize canopy in the field. | Haojie Liu Minzan Li Junyi Zhang Dehua Gao Hong Sun Liwei Yang | 2018 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,6: | 1 |

| 13 | Measuring Mental Workload Using ERPs Based on FIR,ICA,and MARA显示文摘Mental workload is considered to be strongly linked to human performance,and the ability to measure it accurately is key for balancing human health and work.In this study,brain signals were elicited by mental arithmetic tasks of varying difficulty to stimulate different levels of mental workload.In addition,a finite impulse response(FIR)filter,independent component analysis(ICA),and multiple artifact rejection algorithms(MARAs)were used to filter event-related potentials(ERPs).Then,the data consisting of ERPs,subjective ratings of mental workload,and task performance,were analyzed through the use of variance and Spearman’s correlation during a simulated computer task.We found that participants responded faster and performed better in the easy task condition,followed by the medium and high-difficulty conditions,which verifies the validity of the ERP filtering.Moreover,larger P2 and P3 waveforms were evoked as the task difficulty increased,and a higher task difficulty elicited a more enhanced N300.Correlation analysis revealed a negative relationship between the amplitude of P3 and the subjective ratings,and a positive relationship between the P3 amplitude and accuracy.The results presented in this paper demonstrate that a combination of FIR,ICA,and MARA methods can filter ERPs in the non-invasive real-time measurement of workload.Additionally,frontocentral P2,N3,and parietal P3 components showed differences between genders.The proposed measurement of mental workload can be useful for real-time identification of mental states and can be applied to human-computer interaction in the future. | Yu Sun Yi Ding Junyi Jiang Vincent G.Duffy | 2022 | Computer Systems Science & Engineering2022,41,5: | 1 |
| 14 | High-fidelity and clean nanotransfer lithography using structure-embedded and electrostatic-adhesive carriers显示文摘Metallic nanostructures are becoming increasingly important for both fundamental research and practical devices.Many emerging applications employing metallic nanostructures often involve unconventional substrates that are flexible or nonplanar,making direct lithographic fabrication very difficult.An alternative approach is to transfer prefabricated structures from a conventional substrate;however,it is still challenging to maintain high fidelity and a high yield in the transfer process.In this paper,we propose a high-fidelity,clean nanotransfer lithography method that addresses the above challenges by employing a polyvinyl acetate(PVA)film as the transferring carrier and promoting electrostatic adhesion through triboelectric charging.The PVA film embeds the transferred metallic nanostructures and maintains their spacing with a remarkably low variation of<1%.When separating the PVA film from the donor substrate,electrostatic charges are generated due to triboelectric charging and facilitate adhesion to the receiver substrate,resulting in a high large-area transfer yield of up to 99.93%.We successfully transferred the metallic structures of a variety of materials(Au,Cu,Pd,etc.)with different geometries with a<50-nm spacing,high aspect ratio(>2),and complex 3D structures.Moreover,the thin and flexible carrier film enables transfer on highly curved surfaces,such as a single-mode optical fiber with a curvature radius of 62.5μm.With this strategy,we demonstrate the transfer of metallic nanostructures for a compact spectrometer with Cu nanogratings transferred on a convex lens and for surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS)characterization on graphene with reliable responsiveness. | Zhuofei Gan Jingxuan Cai Zhao Sun Liyang Chen Chuying Sun Junyi Yu Zeyu Liang Siyi Min Fei Han Yu Liu Xing Cheng Shuhui Yu Dehu Cui Wen-Di Li | 2023 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,1: | 1 |

| 19 | A novel wavelength selection strategy for chlorophyll prediction by MWPLS and GA显示文摘The research proposed a novel wavelength selection strategy by the combination of moving window partial least squares(MWPLS)and genetic algorithm(GA)for the chlorophyll content detection of winter wheat canopy using spectroscopy technology.Firstly,the original spectral dataset was pre-processed by wavelet denosing,multiple scatter correction.Then,abnormal data samples were removed by Pauta Criterion and the dataset was divided into modeling set and validation set by SPXY.Finally,the sensitive wavebands were selected using MWPLS method and MWPLS+GA respectively and partial least squares(PLS)models were established for chlorophyll content prediction.For the model established by using all the wavebands in the region of 400-900 nm,its R_(c)^(2) and R_(v)^(2) were 0.4468 and 0.3821 respectively;its modeling root mean square error(RMSEM)and verification root mean square error(RMSEV)were 2.9057 and 1.7589 respectively.For the model established by using 151 wavebands selected by MWPLS,its R_(c)^(2) and R_(v)^(2) were 0.6210 and 0.5901 respectively;its RMSEM and RMSEV were 2.4007 and 1.6408 respectively.For the model established by using 36 wavebands selected by MWPLS+GA,its R_(c)^(2) and R_(v)^(2) were 0.7805 and 0.7497 respectively;its RMSEM and RMSEV were 1.8504 and 1.1315 respectively.The results show that wavelength selection can remove redundant information and improve model performance.The strategy of combining MWPLS with GA has also been proved to work well in selecting sensitive wavebands for chlorophyll content prediction. | Haojie Liu Minzan Li Junyi Zhang Dehua Gao Hong Sun Man Zhang Jingzhu Wu | 2019 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,5: | 1 |
