1The Credibility Models under LINEX Loss Functions显示文摘LINEX(linear and exponential) loss function is a useful asymmetric loss function. The purpose of using a LINEX loss function in credibility models is to solve the problem of very high premium by suing a symmetric quadratic loss function in most of classical credibility models. The Bayes premium and the credibility premium are derived under LINEX loss function. The consistency of Bayes premium and credibility premium were also checked. 2Solitons in the fractional Schr?dinger equation with parity-time-symmetric lattice potential显示文摘We investigate the properties of spatial solitons in the fractional Schr?dinger equation(FSE) with parity-time(PT)-symmetric lattice potential supported by the focusing of Kerr nonlinearity. Both one-and two-dimensional solitons can stably propagate in PT-symmetric lattices under noise perturbations. The domains of stability for both one-and two-dimensional solitons strongly depend on the gain/loss strength of the lattice. In the spatial domain, the solitons are rigidly modulated by the lattice potential for the weak diffraction in FSE systems. In the inverse space, due to the periodicity of lattices, the spectra of solitons experience sharp peaks when the values of wavenumbers are even. 4Topographic species-habitat associations of tree species in a heterogeneous tropical karst seasonal rain forest, China显示文摘Aims Tropical and subtropical karst forests of south China are under increas-ing pressure from over-exploitation causing widespread habitat degra-dation and biodiversity loss.Previous research has demonstrated that topography,as a proxy for resource availability,plays an important role in shaping tree species distributions in tropical forests.However,the association between growth stages and habitats types has not been considered in this analysis.Our aim was to examine the differences among different habitat types to determine whether tree species show similar species-habitat associations at young and mature life stages.Methods We used multivariate regression tree analysis to examined species-habitat associations among eight topographically defined habitats.The results were tested with a torus-translation test and canonical correspondence analysis(CCA)for 74 species in a 15 ha karst tropi-cal seasonal rain forest at the Nonggang National Natural Reserve in south China.We considered two life stages(young and mature)of trees species that showed a positive association with topography.Important Findings We found marked differences in community characteristics and number of associations among the eight habitats.Of the 74 species subjected to torus-translation test,63 had significant positive and 70 had significant negative associations with one or more of the eight habitats.Positive associations were more frequent in higher elevation habitats and negative associations were more frequent in lower eleva-tion habitats.This suggests that edaphic and hydrological variation related to topography play important roles in habitat partitioning in heterogeneous karst forests.For the 63 tree species with significant positive associations to at least one habitat,40 of them had the same positive association at young and mature life stages.The CCA revealed that the six topographic variables considered had consistent relation-ships with species distribution among all individuals and their two life stages.This indicates that most of the karst forest tree species show consistent associations with a single habitat throughout their life.We conclude that niche differentiation plays an important role in main-taining the diversity of this heterogeneous species-rich karst forest.Yili Guo Bin Wang Azim U.Mallik Fuzhao Huang Wusheng Xiang Tao Ding Shujun Wen Shuhua Lu Dongxing Li Yunlin He Xiankun Li 2017Journal of Plant Ecology2017,10,3:6

6Selective depression action of taurine in flotation separation of specularite and chlorite显示文摘Chlorite,as the most representative gangue mineral associated with specularite,of which the separation of these two minerals is difficult.This paper investigated the depression effect of taurine on specularite/chlorite separation via flotation experiments,adsorption tests,contact angle measurements,Zeta potential detection,FT-IR measurements,and XPS analyses.The results of single mineral flotation indicated that chlorite could be depressed selectively by taurine with the recovery of less than 30%,but the floatability of specularite remains high with recovery rate of 81.77%at pH 10.The artificial mixed mineral flotation results confirmed the effectiveness of taurine as a depressant.Surface adsorption,contact angle,and Zeta potential detection revealed taurine primarily adsorbs on the chlorite surface,which hampered the DDA’s subsequent adsorption and results in the chlorite’s poor floatability.The FT-IR spectra and XPS analyses provided further proof that taurine adsorbed on chlorite surface as an electron donor,and part of the electrons transferred from the sulfonic acid group of taurine to metal ions during the adsorption process.In addition,the hydrogen bond between amino-group of taurine and O ions in chlorite surface was also formed in the adsorption process.Finally,optimized adsorption configurations of taurine on chlorite surfaces were proposed.Mingyang Li Cheng Yang Zhaoyang Wu Xiangpeng Gao Xiong Tong Xiankun Yu Hongming Long 2022International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2022,32,3:4
7Theoretical analysis of effects of boundary layer bleed on scramjet thrust显示文摘The effects of boundary layer bleed on the scramjet thrust are studied in the present paper.A theoretical model is developed to evaluate the thrust increment and influencing factors.The thrust increment resulting from the bleed is dominated by the rise in total pressure recovery and bleed mass flow rate.The bleed mass flow rate exerts stronger impact on the engine thrust than the total pressure.According to current bleed design,it is a severe challenge for the engine to enhance its total pressure to maintain the original thrust when there is no bleeding.Furthermore,the initial total pressure recovery,fuel mass addition,combustion efficiency and area ratio of engine exit to entrance can affect the contributions of the bleeding to the thrust increment.The scramjet needs a higher rise in total pressure recovery to counteract the negative effect of bleed mass loss at higher initial total pressure recovery or larger area ratio of engine exit/entrance.More heat release results in a little lower demand on the rise in total pressure recovery for maintaining the scramjet thrust.These results will aid in understanding the fundamental mechanism of bleeding on engine thrust.YUE LianJie XU XianKun CHANG XinYu 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,10:3
8Structure and microtribological characteristics of laser-arc deposited TiB_2 thin film显示文摘TiB2 thin film was deposited by laser-arc deposition method on the surface of single crystalline silicon. The morphology, composition, structure and microtribological properties of the film were studied by using XPS, XRD and atomic force/friction force microscope (AFM/FFM). The results show that TiB2 (100) preferred growth on the Si(100)substrate, TiB2(001) preferred growth on the Si(111) substrate. The TiB2 thin film was composed of TiB2 and a small amount of TiO2. The friction coefficient of TiB2 film on substrates Si (100) and Si(111) in microtribological process were 0.087 and 0.073,respectively. 9Psoralen inhibits hepatitis B viral replication by down-regulating the host transcriptional machinery of viral promoters显示文摘The hepatitis B virus(HBV) is a global public health challenge due to its highly contagious nature. It is estimated that almost 300 million people live with chronic HBV infection annually. Although nucleoside analogs markedly reduce the risk of liver disease progression, the analogs do not fully eradicate the virus. As such, new treatment options and drugs are urgently needed. Psoralen is a nourishing monomer of Chinese herb and is known to inhibit virus replication and inactivate viruses. In this study, we evaluated the potential of psoralen as an anti-HBV agent.Quantitative PCR and Southern blot analysis revealed that psoralen inhibited HBV replication in Hep G2.2.15 cells in a concentration-dependent manner. Moreover, psoralen was also active against the 3TC/ETV-dual-resistant HBV mutant. Further investigations revealed that psoralen suppressed both HBV RNA transcription and core protein expression. The transcription factor FOXO1, a known target for PGC1α co-activation, binds to HBV precore/core promoter enhancer II region and activates HBV RNA transcription. Co-immunoprecipitation showed that psoralen suppressed the expression of FOXO1, thereby decreasing the binding of FOXO1 co-activator PGC1αto the HBV promoter. 13Single-Atom Vacancy Doping in Two-Dimensional Transition Metal Dichalcogenides显示文摘CONSPECTUS:Faced with the growing quests of higher-performance chips,developing new channel semiconductors immune to short channel effects has become a realistic option for continuing Moore’s Law.With outstanding gate electrostatic capacitance,stable chemical properties,and suitable bandgap,two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs)are considered as potential candidates for next-generation channel materials.However,the practical applications of 2D TMDCs are severely limited by stable,precise,and controllable doping technologies,due to their ultrathin body and dangling bond-free surface.Compared to three-dimensional semiconductors,donors in 2D semiconductors need larger ionization energy which can be attributed to the reduced screening of Coulomb interaction and the larger bandgap induced by quantum confinement.Limited by the ultrathin body of 2D TMDCs and the strong film−substrate charge transfer,typical silicon-based substitutional doping technology encounters some headache difficulties in 2D TMDCs and hardly achieves high-concentration doping.The other two doping technologies also cannot take on this task either;local gate electrostatic doping cannot leave the aid of the external electric field.And surface charge transfer doping of molecule adsorbents behaves unstably(e.g.,thermal desorption)or ineffectively modifies the original electronic structure.Fortunately,single-atom vacancies can effectively and precisely adjust the carrier concentration of 2D TMDCs and significantly enhance their conductivity.Therefore,clarifying the work rules and function mechanism of single-atom vacancy doping in 2D TMDCs is beneficial in creating a brand-new optimization strategy of electrical properties and overcoming the technical obstacles of the“lab-to-fab”transition for their practical applications in high-performance electronics and optoelectronics.In this Account,we summarize the state-of-the-art progress in single-atom vacancy doping in 2D TMDCs and highlight the applications in optoelectronic and electronic devices.First,the common defects and the density-largest-defect type in 2D TMDCs are demonstrated through experimental characterizations.Second,the healing and manufacturing strategies of chalcogen vacancies in 2D TMDCs are systematically summarized.Third,we clarify the doping mechanism of single-atom vacancies in 2D TMDCs and its regulation of the electrical properties including carrier concentration and carrier mobility.Fourth,the correlations between chalcogen vacancies in 2D TMDCs and the optical signals from Raman and photoluminescence spectroscopies are established,which will help to quickly and nondestructively evaluate the chalcogen vacancy concentration.Fifth,the current applications of single-atom vacancy doping of 2D TMDCs materials are reviewed,including complementary metal−oxide semiconductor(CMOS)logic inverters,homojunctions,Schottky diodes,and photovoltaic devices.Finally,the potential challenges and future development trends of single-atom vacancy doping for next-generation electronic and optoelectronic devices are pointed out.Overall,this Account guides on controllable and precise doping technologies for researchers in these fields from materials,electronics,and optoelectronics to promote the practical applications of 2D TMDCs.Xiankun Zhang Li Gao Huihui Yu Qingliang Liao Zhuo Kang Zheng Zhang Yue Zhang 2021Accounts of Materials Research2021,2,8:2

15Carbon sequestration in biomass and soil following reforestation:a case study of the Yangtze River Basin显示文摘The effect of reforestation on carbon sequestration has been extensively studied but there is less understanding of the changes that stand age and vegetation types have on changes in biomass carbon and soil organic carbon(SOC)after reforestation.In this study,150 reforested plots were sampled across six provinces and one municipality in the Yangtze River Basin(YRB)during 2017 and 2018 to estimate carbon storage in biomass and soil.The results illustrate that site-averaged SOC was greater than site-averaged biomass carbon.There was more carbon sequestered in the biomass than in the soil.Biomass carbon accumulated rapidly in the initial 20 years after planting.In contrast,SOC sequestration increased rapidly after 20 years.In addition,evergreen species had higher carbon density in both biomass and soil than deciduous species and economic species(fruit trees).Carbon sequestration in evergreen and deciduous species is greater than in economic species.Our findings provide new evidence on the divergent responses of biomass and soil to carbon sequestration after reforestation with respect to stand ages and vegetation types.This study provides relevant information for ecosystem management as well as for carbon sequestration and global climate change policies.Jianyu Wang Claudio O.Delang Guolong Hou Lei Gao Xiankun Yang Xixi Lu 2022Journal of Forestry Research2022,33,5:1
16Temporal and spatial expression of Drosophila Neurexin during the life cycle visualized using a DNRX-Gal4/UAS-reporter显示文摘Drosophila neurexin(DNRX) plays a critical role in proper architecture development and synaptic function in vivo. However, the temporal and spatial expression pattern of DNRX still remains unclear. For this study, we generated a novel Drosophila transgenic strain termed the DNRX-Gal4 transgenic line, with characteristic features in agreement with the endogenous DNRX expression pattern. DNRX expression was examined by driving the expression of a GFP reporter(nuclear-localized and membrane-localized GFP) using the DNRX-Gal4 promoter. We found that DNRX was expressed preferentially in central and motor neurons in embryos, larvae and adults, but not in glial cells. DNRX was expressed in pre- and post-synaptic areas in third instar larvae neuromuscular junctions(NMJs). Reporter expression was also observed in the salivary glands, guts, wings and legs of adult flies. In the adult brain, reporter expression was observed throughout several brain regions, including the mushroom body(MBs), antennal lobe(AL) and optic lobe neurons, which is consistent with endogenous DNRX expression via antibody staining. Interestingly, DNRX was also expressed in clock neurons. 17Reconstruction of the past 1000-a temperature in Canada based on pollen data显示文摘Reconstructions of past climate based on pollen data have formed a robust approach and produced a great of products in time scales from a millennium to ten millenniums. However, it is an attempt for reconstruction of the past decade-century climate in the Global Change field. This note reports a reconstruction of the past 1000-a temperature in a 50-a scale in Canada based on pollen data. Because there were little human activities during the last 1000 years in North America, the climate in the period mainly responded to natural changes. The reconstruction of a natural-forcing change in the climate can provide a basis to recognize the climate changes impacted from human activities in China. 19Sodium-based dual-ion batteries via coupling high-capacity selenium/graphene anode with high-voltage graphite cathode显示文摘Dual ion batteries(DIBs) exhibit broad application prospects in the field of electrical energy storage(EES)devices with excellent properties,such as high voltage,high energy density,and low cost.In the graphitebased DIBs,high voltage is needed to store enough anions with the formation of anion intercalation compound XCn(X=AlCl4-,PF6-,TFSI-,etc.).Hence,it is difficult for graphite-based DIBs to match proper anodes and electrolytes.Here,an Se/graphene composite is prepared via a convenient method,and assembled into a dual-ion full battery(DIFB) as anode with graphite cathode and 1 mol/L NaPF6 in EC:EMC(1:1,v:v).This DIFB has achieved a high discharge capacity of 75.9 mAh/g and high medium output voltage of 3.5 V at 0.1 A/g.Actually,the suitable anode materials,such as the present Se/graphene composite,are extremely important for the development and application of graphite-based DIBs.This study is enlightening for the design of future low-cost EES devices including graphite-based DIBs.Xiankun Hou Wenhao Li Yingying Wang Shaofang Li Yunfeng Meng Haiyue Yu Baokuan Chen Xinglong Wu 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,9:1
20Antioxidant and hepatoprotective effect of different extracts of Guizhencao (Herba Bidentis Bipinnatae) against liver injury in hyperlipidemia rats显示文摘OBJEVTIVE: To investigate the antioxidant and hepatoprotective properties of the different extracts Guizhencao (Herba Bidentis Bipinnatae) against liver injury in hyperlipidemia rats. METHODS: The rats were divided into 7 groups, with 10 rats in each. Rats were treated with high-fat diet for 18 weeks besides the normal control group, then rats in both normal control and model groups were received 5 mL/kg -1 · day -1 of saline and those in the positive control group with 2 mg/kg -1 · day -1 of lovastatin. Rats in the positive control group and different Guizhencao (Herba Bidentis Bipinnatae) extracts treatment groups (ethyl acetate extract group, n-hexane extract group, ethanol extract group, and aqueous extract group) were treated with corresponding extract at a concentration of 5 mL/kg -1 · day -1 . After 8 weeks treatment, all rats were sacrificed and total blood samples were collected. Histological analysis of liver was underdone by hematoxylin and eosin. The levels of serum ala-nine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), glouse (GLU), cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) and high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol were measured according to standard procedure using auto-analyzer. The superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA) levels in liver were ananlyzed by procedure instruction. RESULTS: The histopathological analysis implied that the administration of Guizhencao (HerbaBidentis Bipinnatae) extracts resulted in hepatoprotective role compared with that of the model group. In addition, the high-fat diet caused a remarkable increase of ALT, AST, GLU, TC, TG, LDL-C and MDA levels. A decline in HDL-C and SOD concentrations and a reversal of effects were observed in different Guizhencao (Herba Bidentis Bipinnatae) extracts groups, especially in the aqueous extract and ethanol extract groups.
