2A novel four-way combining catalysts for simultaneous removal of exhaust pollutants from diesel engine显示文摘A novel four-way combining catalysts containing double layers was applied to simultaneously remove four kinds of exhaust pollutants(NOx,CO,HC and PM) emitted from diesel engine.The four-way catalysts were characterized using scanning electron microscope(SEM) and Ultraviolet visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(UV-Vis DRS).Their catalytic performances were evaluated by temperature-programmed reaction technology.The double layer catalysts could effectively remove the four main pollutants.The highest catalytic activity was given by the two-layered catalysts of La0.6K0.4CoO3/Al2O3 and W/HZSM-5.Under the simulated exhaust gases conditions,the peak temperature of the soot combustion was 421°C,the maximal conversion of NO to N2 was 74%,the temperature of the HC total conversion was 357°C,and the maximum conversion ratio of CO was 99%.Jian Liu,Jie Xu,Zhen Zhao,Aijun Duan,Guiyuan Jiang,Yanni Jing State Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil Processing,China University of Petroleum,Beijing 102249,China. 2010Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,7:11

4Novel circular RNA expression profile of uveal melanoma revealed by microarray显示文摘Objective: The present study aimed to investigate circular RNA(circRNA) expression in uveal melanoma(UM).Methods: First,we used microarray to compare the expression profiles of circRNA in five UM samples and five normal uvea tissues.Next,bioinformatics analyses,including gene ontology(GO) analysis and pathway analysis,were applied to study these differentially expressed circRNAs to predict pathogenic pathways that may be involved.Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR) in 20 UM samples and 20 normal uvea samples was used to confirm the circRNA expression profiles obtained from the microarray data.Finally,we analyzed the interaction between validated circRNAs and their potential cancer-associated miRNA targets.Results: In total,50,579 circRNAs [fold change(FC) ≥2.0; P<0.05],including 20,654 up-regulated and 29,925 down-regulated circRNAs,were identified as differentially expressed between UM tissues and normal uvea tissues.We used qRT-PCR to verify seven dysregulated circRNAs indicated by the microarray data,including hsa_circ_0119873,hsa_circ_0128533,hsa_circ_0047924,hsa_circ_0103232,hsa-circRNA10628-6,hsa_circ_0032148 and hsa_circ_0133460,which may be promising candidates to study future molecular mechanisms.Conclusions: This study explored,for the first time,the abnormal expression of circRNAs in UM and described the expression profile of circRNAs,providing a new potential target for the mechanism of UM and future treatment of UM.Xuan Yang Yang Li Yueming Liu Xiaolin Xu Yingzhi Wang Yanni Yan Wenjia Zhou Jingyan Yang Wenbin Wei 2018Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2018,30,6:6

7E17110 promotes reverse cholesterol transport with liver X receptor β agonist activity in vitro显示文摘Liver X receptor(LXR) plays an important role in reverse cholesterol transport(RCT), and activation of LXR could reduce atherosclerosis. In the present study we used a cell-based screening method to identify new potential LXRβ agonists. A novel benzofuran-2-carboxylate derivative was identified with LXRβ agonist activity: E17110 showed a significant activation effect on LXRβ with an EC50 value of 0.72 μmol/L. E17110 also increased the expression of ATP-binding cassette transporter A1(ABCA1) and G1(ABCG1) in RAW264.7 macrophages. Moreover, E17110 significantly reduced cellular lipid accumulation and promoted cholesterol efflux in RAW264.7 macrophages. Interestingly, we found that the key amino acids in the LXRβ ligand-binding domain had distinct interactions with E17110 as compared to TO901317. 8Risk stratification in symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic disease with conventional vascular risk factors and cerebral haemodynamics显示文摘Background and purpose Symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis(sICAS)is associated with a considerable risk of recurrent stroke despite contemporarily optimal medical treatment.Severity of luminal stenosis in sICAS and its haemodynamic significance quantified with computational fluid dynamics(CFD)models were associated with the risk of stroke recurrence.We aimed to develop and compare stroke risk prediction nomograms in sICAS,based on vascular risk factors and these metrics.Methods Patients with 50%-99%sICAS confirmed in CT angiography(CTA)were enrolled.Conventional vascular risk factors were collected.Severity of luminal stenosis in sICAS was dichotomised as moderate(50%-69%)and severe(70%-99%).Translesional pressure ratio(PR)and wall shear stress ratio(WSSR)were quantified via CTA-based CFD modelling;the haemodynamic status of sICAS was classified as normal(normal PR&WSSR),intermediate(otherwise)and abnormal(abnormal PR&WSSR).All patients received guideline-recommended medical treatment.We developed and compared performance of nomograms composed of these variables and independent predictors identified in multivariate logistic regression,in predicting the primary outcome,recurrent ischaemic stroke in the same territory(SIT)within 1 year.Results Among 245 sICAS patients,20(8.2%)had SIT.The D2H2A nomogram,incorporating diabetes,dyslipidaemia,haemodynamic status of sICAS,hypertension and age≥50 years,showed good calibration(P for Hosmer-Lemeshow test=0.560)and discrimination(C-statistic 0.73,95%CI 0.60 to 0.85).It also had better performance in risk reclassification and provided larger net benefits in decision curve analysis,compared with nomograms composed of conventional vascular risk factors only,and plus the severity of luminal stenosis in sICAS.Sensitivity analysis in patients with anterior-circulation sICAS showed similar results.Conclusions The D2H2A nomogram,incorporating conventional vascular risk factors and the haemodynamic significance of sICAS as assessed in CFD models,could be a useful tool to stratify sICAS patients for the risk of recurrent stroke under contemporarily optimal medical treatment.Xuan Tian Hui Fang Linfang Lan Hing Lung Ip Jill Abrigo Haipeng Liu Lina Zheng Florence S Y Fan Sze Ho Ma Bonaventure Ip Bo Song Yuming Xu Jingwei Li Bing Zhang Yun Xu Yannie O Y Soo Vincent Mok Ka Sing Wong Thomas W Leung Xinyi Leng 2023Stroke & Vascular Neurology2023,8,1:2
9Numerical simulation of two-phase flow and droplet breakage of glycerin-water mixture and kerosene in the cyclone reactor显示文摘A liquid-liquid cyclone reactor(LLCR)was designed to achieve mixing-reaction-separation integration during isobutane alkylation catalyzed by ionic liquids.However,studies of the droplets deformation and breakage in the kind of reactors are lacking.In this work,the research studied the velocity distribution,pressure field,and turbulent field to investigate the flow pattern and the main energy loss location in the LLCR through the computational fluid dynamics(CFD)method.The simulation results were verified by experiemnts to prove the correctness of the model.Then the deformation and breakage process of droplets,and the influencing factors of droplets breakage were studied by remodeling which was based on the tangential velocity distribution result of the three dimensional model.The three dimensional simulation results clearly showed that the pressure of the LLCR was mainly concentrated in the cone section and fluid turbulent motion was the most intense near the lateral wall.The reconstruct the results of the two dimensional model clearly showed that the deformation and breakage location of droplets were mainly occurred in the velocity boundary layer,while it was difficult to break in the mainstream region.In addition,low surface tension and high Weber number had a positive effect on droplet breakage.Yanni Chi Rui Zhang Xianghai Meng Jian Xu Wei Du Haiyan Liu Zhichang Liu 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,6:1

14Biogenic silica concentration as a marine primary productivity proxy in the Holsteinsborg Dyb, West Greenland, during the last millennium显示文摘We analyzed the biogenic silica(BSi)content and produced a diatom-based summer sea-surface temperature(SST)reconstruction for sediment core GC4 from the Holsteinsborg Dyb,West Greenland.Our aim was to reconstruct marine productivity and climatic fluctuations during the last millennium.Increased BSi content and diatom abundance suggest relatively high marine productively during the interval of AD 1000–1400,corresponding in time to the Medieval Warm Period(MWP).The summer SST reconstruction indicates relatively warm conditions during AD 900–1100,followed by cooling after AD 1100.An extended cooling period during AD 1400–1900 is characterized by prolonged low in reconstructed SST and high sea-ice concentration.The BSi values fluctuated during this period,suggesting varying marine productivity during the Little Ice Age(LIA).There is no significant correlation between the BSi content and SST during the last millennium,suggesting that the summer SST has little influence on marine productively in the Holsteinsborg Dyb.A good correspondence between the BSi content and the element Ti counts in core GC4 suggests that silicate-rich meltwater from the Greenland ice sheet was likely responsible for changes in marine productively in the Holsteinsborg Dyb.Longbin Sha Dongling Li Yanguang Liu Bin Wu Yanni Wu Karen Luise Knudsen Zhongqiao Li Hao Xu 2020Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,9:1

16Enhanced degradation of organic contaminants by Fe(Ⅲ)/peroxymonosulfate process with L-cysteine显示文摘The difficulty in Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ) conversion in the Fe(Ⅲ)/peroxymonosulfate(PMS) process limits its efficiency and application.Herein,L-cysteine(Cys),a green natural organic ligand with reducing capability,was innovatively introduced into Fe(Ⅲ)/PMS to construct an excellent Cys/Fe(Ⅲ)/PMS process.The Cys/Fe(Ⅲ)/PMS process,at room temperature,can degrade a variety of organic contaminants,including dyes,phenolic compounds,and pharmaceuticals.In subsequent experiments with acid orange 7(A07),the AO7 degradation efficiency followed pseudo-first-order kinetic which exhibited an initial 'fast stage' and a second 'slow stage'.The rate constant values ranged depending on the initial Cys,Fe(Ⅲ),PMS,and AO7 concentrations,reaction temperature,and pH values.In addition,the presence of Cl^(-),NO_(3)^(-),and SO_(4)^(2-) had negligible impact while HCO_(3)^(-) and humic acid inhibited the degradation of AO7.Furthermore,radical scavenger experiments and methyl phenyl sulfoxide(PMSO) transformation assay indicated that sulfate radical,hydroxyl radical,and ferryl ion(Fe(Ⅳ)) were the dominant reactive species involved in the Cys/Fe(Ⅲ)/PMS process.Finally,based on the results of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry,several AO7 degradation pathways,including N=N cleavage,hydroxylation,and ring opening were proposed.This study provided a new insight to improve the efficiency of Fe(Ⅲ)/PMS process by accelerating Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ)cycle with Cys.Chengdu Qi Yanni Wen Yijie Zhao Yinhao Dai Yanping Li Chenmin Xu Shaogui Yang Huan He 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,4:1
17A flexible approach for cyber threat hunting based on kernel audit records显示文摘Hunting the advanced threats hidden in the enterprise networks has always been a complex and difficult task.Due to the variety of attacking means,it is difficult for traditional security systems to detect threats.Most existing methods analyze log records,but the amount of log records generated every day is very large.How to find the information related to the attack events quickly and effectively from massive data streams is an important problem.Considering that the knowledge graph can be used for automatic relation calculation and complex relation analysis,and can get relatively fast feedback,our work proposes to construct the knowledge graph based on kernel audit records,which fully considers the global correlation among entities observed in audit logs.We design the construction and application process of knowledge graph,which can be applied to actual threat hunting activities.Then we explore different ways to use the constructed knowledge graph for hunting actual threats in detail.Finally,we implement a LAN-wide hunting system which is convenient and flexible for security analysts.Evaluations based on the adversarial engagement designed by DARPA prove that our platform can effectively hunt sophisticated threats,quickly restore the attack path or assess the impact of attack.Fengyu Yang Yanni Han Ying Ding Qian Tan Zhen Xu 2022Cybersecurity2022,5,3:0
18KHSRP combines transcriptional and posttranscriptional mechanisms to regulate monocytic differentiation显示文摘RNA-binding proteins(RBPs)are widely involved in the transcriptional and posttranscriptional regulation of multiple biological processes.The transcriptional regulatory ability of RBPs was indicated by the identification of chromatin-enriched RBPs(Che-RBPs).One of these proteins,KH-type splicing regulatory protein(KHSRP),is a multifunctional RBP that has been implicated in mRNA decay,alternative splicing,and miRNA biogenesis and plays an essential role in myeloid differentiation by facilitating the maturation of miR-129.In this study,we revealed that KHSRP regulates monocytic differentiation by regulating gene transcription and RNA splicing.KHSRP-occupied specific genomic sites in promoter and enhancer regions to regulate the expression of several hematopoietic genes through transcriptional activation and bound to pre-mRNA intronic regions to modulate alternative splicing during monocytic differentiation.Of note,KHSRP had co-regulatory effects at both the transcriptional and posttranscriptional levels on MOGOH and ADARB1.Taken together,our analyses revealed the dual DNA-and RNA-binding activities of KHSRP and have provided a paradigm to guide the analysis of other functional Che-RBPs in different biological systems.Jiayue Xu Dongsheng Wang Hongliu Ma Xueying Zhai Yue Huo Yue Ren Weiqian Li Le Chang Dongxu Lu Yuehong Guo Yanmin Si Yufeng Gao Xiaoshuang Wang Yanni Ma Fang Wang Jia Yu 2022Blood Science2022,4,3:0
19Exploring the attenuation mechanisms of Dalbergia odorifera leaves extract on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion based on weighted gene co-expression network analysis显示文摘The attenuation function of Dalbergia odorifera leaves on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)is little known.The candidate targets for the Chinese herb were extracted from brain tissues through the high-affinity chromatography.The molecular mechanism of D.odorifera leaves on cerebral I/R was investigated.Methods:Serial affinity chromatography based on D.odorifera leaves extract(DLE)affinity matrices were applied to find specific binding proteins in the brain tissues implemented on C57BL/6 mice by intraluminal middle cerebral artery occlusion for 1 h and reperfusion for 24 h.Specific binding proteins were subjected to mass-spectrometry to search for the differentially expressed proteins between control and DLE-affinity matrices.The hub genes were screened based on weighted gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA).Then,predictive biology and potential experimental verification were performed for the candidate genes.The protective role of DLE in blood-brain barrier damage in cerebral I/R mice was evaluated by the leakage of Evans blue,western blotting,immunohistochemistry,and immunofluorescent staining.Results:952 differentially expressed proteins were classified into seven modules based on WGCNA under soft threshold 6.Based on WGCNA,AKT1,PIK3CA,NOS3,SMAD3,SMAD1,IL6,MAPK1,TGFBR2,TGFBR1,MAPK3,IGF1R,LRG1,mTOR,ROCK1,TGFB1,IL1B,SMAD2,and SMAD518 candidate hub proteins were involved in turquoise module.TGF-β,MAPK,focal adhesion,and adherens junction signaling pathway were associated with candidate hub proteins.Gene ontology analysis demonstrated that candidate hub proteins were related to the TGF-βreceptor signaling pathway,common-partner SMAD protein phosphorylation,etc.DLE could significantly reduce the leakage of Evans blue in mice with cerebral I/R,while attenuating the expression of occludin,claudin-5,and zonula occludens-1.Western blotting demonstrated that regulation of TGF-β/SMAD signaling pathway played an essential role in the protective effect of DLE.Conclusion:Thus,a number of candidate hub proteins were identified based on DLE affinity chromatography through WGCNA.DLE could attenuate the dysfunction of bloodbrain barrier in the TGF-β/SMAD signaling pathway induced by cerebral I/R.JINFANG HU JIANGEN AO LONGSHENG FU YAOQI WU FENG SHAO TIANTIAN XU MINGJIN JIANG SHAOFENG XIONG YANNI LV 2023BIOCELL2023,47,7:0
