2A review of extractive distillation from an azeotropic phenomenon for dynamic control显示文摘Extractive distillation is an effective method for separating azeotropic or close boiling point mixtures by adding a third component.Various technologies for performing the extractive distillation process have been explored to protect the environment and save resources.This paper focuses on the improvement of these advanced technologies in recent years.Extractive distillation is retrieved and analyzed from the view of phase equilibrium,selection of solvent in extractive distillation,process design,energy conservation,and dynamic control.The quantitative structure–property relationship used in extractive distillation is discussed,and the future development of extractive distillation is proposed to determine how the solvent affects the relative volatility of the separated mixture.In the steady state design,the relationship between the curvature of the residue curve and parameters of the optimal steady state is also highlighted as another field worthy of further study to simplify the distillation process.Yixin Ma Peizhe Cui Yongkun Wang Zhaoyou Zhu Yinglong Wang Jun Gao 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,7:9
3Theoretical and simulation research of hydrodynamic instabilities in inertial-confinement fusion implosions显示文摘Inertial fusion energy(IFE)has been considered a promising,nearly inexhaustible source of sustainable carbon-free power for the world's energy future.It has long been recognized that the control of hydrodynamic instabilities is of critical importance for ignition and high-gain in the inertial-confinement fusion(ICF)hot-spot ignition scheme.In this mini-review,we summarize the progress of theoretical and simulation research of hydrodynamic instabilities in the ICF central hot-spot implosion in our group over the past decade.In order to obtain sufficient understanding of the growth of hydrodynamic instabilities in ICF,we first decompose the problem into different stages according to the implosion physics processes.The decomposed essential physics processes that are associated with ICF implosions,such as Rayleigh-Taylor instability(RTI),Richtmyer-Meshkov instability(RMI),Kelvin-Helmholtz instability(KHI),convergent geometry effects,as well as perturbation feed-through are reviewed.Analytical models in planar,cylindrical,and spherical geometries have been established to study different physical aspects,including density-gradient,interface-coupling,geometry,and convergent effects.The influence of ablation in the presence of preheating on the RTI has been extensively studied by numerical simulations.The KHI considering the ablation effect has been discussed in detail for the first time.A series of single-mode ablative RTI experiments has been performed on the Shenguang-Ⅱlaser facility.The theoretical and simulation research provides us the physical insights of linear and weakly nonlinear growths,and nonlinear evolutions of the hydrodynamic instabilities in ICF implosions,which has directly supported the research of ICF ignition target design.The ICF hot-spot ignition implosion design that uses several controlling features,based on our current understanding of hydrodynamic instabilities,to address shell implosion stability,has been briefly described,several of which are novel.LiFeng Wang WenHua Ye XianTu He JunFeng Wu ZhengFeng Fan Chuang Xue HongYu Guo WenYong Miao YongTeng Yuan JiaQin Dong Guo Jia Jing Zhang YingJun Li Jie Liu Min Wang YongKun Ding WeiYan Zhang 2017Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2017,60,5:4
4Qualitative and quantitative assessment of related substances in the Compound Ketoconazole and Clobetasol Propionate Cream by HPLC-TOF-MS and HPLC显示文摘Related substances in pharmaceutical formulations are associated with their safety, efficacy and stability. However, there is no overall study already published on the assessment of related substances in the Compound Ketoconazole and Clobetasol Propionate Cream. In this work, a reliable HPLC-TOF-MS qualitative method was developed for the analysis of related substances in this preparation with a quick and easy extraction procedure. Besides the active pharmaceutical ingredients, two compounds named ketoconazole impurity B′ optical isomer and ketoconazole impurity E were identified. Furthermore, a new HPLC method for qualitative and quantitative assessment on related substances and degradation products, which were found in the stability test, was established and validated. The single standard to determine multi-components method was applied in the quantitative analysis, which was an effective way for reducing cost and improving accuracy. 5Investigation and assessment of micropollutants and associated biological effects in wastewater treatment processes显示文摘Currently,the wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs)attempt to achieve the shifting from general pollution parameters control to reduction of organic micropollutants discharge.However,they have not been able to satisfy the increasing ecological safety needs.In this study,the removal of micropollutants was investigated,and the ecological safety was assessed for a local WWTP.Although the total concentration of 31 micropollutants detected was reduced by 83%using the traditional biological treatment processes,the results did not reflect chemicals that had poor removal efficiencies and low concentrations.Of the five categories of micropollutants,herbicides,insecticides,and bactericides were difficult to remove,pharmaceuticals and UV filters were effectively eliminated.The specific photosynthesis inhibition effect and non-specific bioluminescence inhibition effect from wastewater were detected and evaluated using hazardous concentration where 5%of aquatic organisms are affected.The photosynthesis inhibition effect from wastewater in the WWTP was negligible,even the untreated raw wastewater.However,the bioluminescence inhibition effect from wastewater which was defined as the priority biological effect,posed potential ecological risk.To decrease non-specific biological effects,especially of macromolecular dissolved organic matter,overall pollutant reduction strategy is necessary.Meanwhile,the ozonation process was used to further decrease the bioluminescence inhibition effects from the secondary effluent;≥0.34 g O 3/g DOC of ozone dose was recommended for micropollutants elimination control and ecological safety.Xiaoyan Y.Ma Ke Dong Lei Tang Yongkun Wang Xiaochang C.Wang Huu Hao Ngo Rong Chen Na Wang 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,8:3
6Protective mechanisms of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb in dextran sodium sulfate-induced colitis as determined by a network pharmacology approach显示文摘Previous studies reported that Agrimonia pilosa (AP) Ledeb possessed diverse biological activities, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-tumor activities. However, the effect of AP on ulcerative colitis (UC) remains unclear. In this study, we investigated the therapeutic effect and mechanisms of AP on dextran sodium sulfate (DSS)-induced colitis. The potential constituents of AP were investigated by ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF/MS). A total of 13 compounds were recognized by UPLC-Q-TOF/MS chromatogram. Furthermore, a network pharmacology approach revealed that there are 297 candidate targets of UC and 549 common targets for the 13 active ingredients of AP. GO enrichment and KEGG pathway analysis indicated that AP might have a protective effect on UC through the nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) and nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain (NOD)-like receptor signaling pathways. Subsequent experimental validation in a DSS-induced colitis model revealed that AP alleviated the severity of DSS-induced colitis, reduced the production of proinflammatory factors, and protected against the loss of intestinal integrity. Moreover, AP inhibited the phosphorylation of NF-κB p65 and the activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome. 7Progress in octahedral spherical hohlraum study显示文摘In this paper,we give a review of our theoretical and experimental progress in octahedral spherical hohlraum study.From our theoretical study,the octahedral spherical hohlraums with 6 Laser Entrance Holes(LEHs)of octahedral symmetry have robust high symmetry during the capsule implosion at hohlraum-to-capsule radius ratio larger than 3.7.In addition,the octahedral spherical hohlraums also have potential superiority on low backscattering without supplementary technology.We studied the laser arrangement and constraints of the octahedral spherical hohlraums,and gave a design on the laser arrangement for ignition octahedral hohlraums.As a result,the injection angle of laser beams of 50°-60°was proposed as the optimum candidate range for the octahedral spherical hohlraums.We proposed a novel octahedral spherical hohlraum with cylindrical LEHs and LEH shields,in order to increase the laser coupling efficiency and improve the capsule symmetry and to mitigate the influence of the wall blowoff on laser transport.We studied on the sensitivity of the octahedral spherical hohlraums to random errors and compared the sensitivity among the octahedral spherical hohlraums,the rugby hohlraums and the cylindrical hohlraums,and the results show that the octahedral spherical hohlraums are robust to these random errors while the cylindrical hohlraums are the most sensitive.Up till to now,we have carried out three experiments on the spherical hohlraum with 2 LEHs on Shenguang(SG)laser facilities,including demonstration of improving laser transport by using the cylindrical LEHs in the spherical hohlraums,spherical hohlraum energetics on the SGIII prototype laser facility,and comparisons of laser plasma instabilities between the spherical hohlraums and the cylindrical hohlraums on the SGIII laser facility.Ke Lan Jie Liu Zhichao Li Xufei Xie Wenyi Huo Yaohua Chen Guoli Ren Chunyang Zheng Dong Yang Sanwei Li Zhiwen Yang Liang Guo Shu Li Mingyu Zhang Xiaoying Han Chuanlei Zhai Lifei Hou Yukun Li Keli Deng Zheng Yuan Xiayu Zhan Feng Wang Guanghui Yuan Haijun Zhang Bobin Jiang Lizhen Huang Wei Zhang Kai Du Runchang Zhao Ping Li Wei Wang Jingqin Su Xuewei Deng Dongxia Hu Wei Zhou Huaiting Jia Yongkun Ding Wanguo Zheng Xiantu He 2016Matter and Radiation at Extremes2016,1,1:2

9Multistage strain-hardening behavior of ultrastrong and ductile lightweight refractory complex-concentrated alloys显示文摘Lightweight high-entropy alloys or complex-concentrated alloys have demonstrated great potential for engineering applications due to their high strength and lightweight.However,a weak strain-hardening ability and a limited tensile ductility remain their major hindrance.Here,a multistage strain-hardening effect is developed to ensure a high strength and still a sufficient ductility in a rolled and annealed(Ti_(44)V_(28)Zr_(14)Nb_(14))_(98.5)Mo_(1.5)(at.%)lightweight refractory complex-concentrated alloy(M1.5A-LRCCA).This multistage strain-hardening behavior is related to the microstructure and the corresponding initial aver-age dislocation density and distribution by comparison with rolled and annealed Ti_(44)V_(28)Zr_(14)Nb_(14)(M0-LRCCA)and as-cast(Ti_(44)V_(28)Zr_(14)Nb_(14))_(98.5)Mo_(1.5)(M1.5C-LRCCA).The microstructure,with homogeneously distributed submicron precipitations,a moderate initial average dislocation density,and uniform disloca-tion distribution(e.g.,M1.5A-LRCCA),is susceptible to producing various deformation substructures,such as dislocation substructures(slip bands,Taylor lattices,microbands,DDWs),shear bands,and deformation twins,which results in the multistage strain-hardening behavior.This method of achieving multistage strain hardening behavior through a microstructure modulation is significant for engineering applications of lightweight high-entropy alloys or complex-concentrated alloys,and it might be extended to other lightweight and high-strength alloys.Yuefei Jia Chang Ren Shiwei Wu Yongkun Mu Long Xu Yandong Jia Wentao Yan Jun Yi Gang Wang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,18:1

11The S190R mutation in the hemagglutinin protein of pandemic H1N1 2009 influenza virus increased its pathogenicity in mice显示文摘Human influenza viruses preferentially bind to sialic acid-α2,6-galactose (SAα2,6Gal) receptors, which are predominant in human upper respiratory epithelia, whereas avian influenza viruses preferentially bind to SAα2,3Gal receptors. However, variants with amino acid substitutions around the receptor-binding sites of the hemagglutinin (HA) protein can be selected after several passages of human influenza viruses from patients’ respiratory samples in the allantoic cavities of embryonated chicken eggs. In this study, we detected an egg-adapted HA S190R mutation in the pandemic H1N1 virus 2009 (pdmH1N1), and evaluated the effects of this mutation on receptor binding affinity and pathogenicity in mice. Our results revealed that residue 190 is located within the pocket structure of the receptor binding site. The single mutation to arginine at position 190 slightly increased the binding affinity of the virus to the avian receptor and decreased its binding to the long human α2,6-linked sialic acid receptor. Our study demonstrated that the S190R mutation resulted in earlier death and higher weight loss in mice compared with the wild-type virus. 14Viral vectored vaccines:design,development,preventive and therapeutic applications in human diseases显示文摘Human diseases,particularly infectious diseases and cancers,pose unprecedented challenges to public health security and the global economy.The development and distribution of novel prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines are the prioritized countermeasures of human disease.Among all vaccine platforms,viral vector vaccines offer distinguished advantages and represent prominent choices for pathogens that have hampered control efforts based on conventional vaccine approaches.Currently,viral vector vaccines remain one of the best strategies for induction of robust humoral and cellular immunity against human diseases.Numerous viruses of different families and origins,including vesicular stomatitis virus,rabies virus,parainfluenza virus,measles virus,Newcastle disease virus,influenza virus,adenovirus and poxvirus,are deemed to be prominent viral vectors that differ in structural characteristics,design strategy,antigen presentation capability,immunogenicity and protective efficacy.This review summarized the overall profile of the design strategies,progress in advance and steps taken to address barriers to the deployment of these viral vector vaccines,simultaneously highlighting their potential for mucosal delivery,therapeutic application in cancer as well as other key aspects concerning the rational application of these viral vector vaccines.Appropriate and accurate technological advances in viral vector vaccines would consolidate their position as a leading approach to accelerate breakthroughs in novel vaccines and facilitate a rapid response to public health emergencies.Shen Wang Bo Liang Weiqi Wang Ling Li Na Feng Yongkun Zhao Tiecheng Wang Feihu Yan Songtao Yang Xianzhu Xia 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,5:1
