1Color image enhancement based on HVS and PCNN显示文摘To enhance color images more effectively, a novel strategy is presented in this paper. We firstly translate the image to be enhanced from RGB space into HIS space, secondly keep its H component unchanged, and thirdly stretch its S component exponentially, and at last process its I component in the following manner: couple both the gray value and the spatial information into an inner activity item of corresponding neuron, integrate the human visual system into a dynamic component of corresponding neuron, and compare the inner activity item with dynamic component to obtain the enhanced image. 2Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 3The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. 4A telomere-to-telomere gap-free reference genome of watermelon and its mutation library provide important resources for gene discovery and breeding显示文摘Watermelon,Citrullus lanatus,is the world's third largest fruit crop.Reference genomes with gaps and a narrow genetic base hinder functional genomics and genetic improvement of watermelon.Here,we report the assembly of a telomere-to-telomere gap-free genome of the elite watermelon inbred line G42 by incorporating high-coverage and accurate long-read sequencing data with multiple assembly strategies.All 11 chromosomes have been assembled into single-contig pseudomolecules without gaps,representing the highest completeness and assembly quality to date.The G42 reference genome is 369321829 bp in length and contains 24205 predicted protein-coding genes,with all 22 telomeres and 11 centromeres characterized.Furthermore,we established a pollen-EMS mutagenesis protocol and obtained over 200000M1 seeds from G42.In a sampling pool,48 monogenic phenotypic mutations,selected from 223M1and 78 M2 mutants with morphological changes,were confirmed.The average mutation density was 1 SNP/1.69Mband1 indel/4.55 Mb per M1 plant and 1SNP/1.08Mb and 1 indel/6.25 Mb per M2 plant.Taking advantage of the gap-free G42 genome,8039 mutations from 32 plants sampled from M1 and M2 families were identified with 100%accuracy,whereas only 25% of the randomly selected mutations identified using the 97103v2 reference genome could be confirmed.Using this library and the gap-free genome,two genes responsible for elongated fruit shape and male sterility(CiMs1)were identified,both caused by a single basechange from G to A.The validated gap-free genome and its EMS mutation library provide invaluable resources for functional genomics and genetic improvement of watermelon.Yun Deng Shoucheng Liu Yilin Zhang Jingsheng Tan Xiaopeng Li Xiao Chu Binghua Xu Yao Tian Yudong Sun Bosheng Li YunbiXu Xing Wang Deng Hang He Xingping Zhang 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,8:9
5Receptivity to free-stream disturbance waves for hypersonic flow over a blunt cone显示文摘A high-order shock-fitting finite difference scheme is studied and used to do direc-tion numerical simulation (DNS) of hypersonic unsteady flow over a blunt cone with fast acoustic waves in the free stream, and the receptivity problem in the blunt cone hypersonic boundary layers is studied. The results show that the acoustic waves are the strongest disturbance in the blunt cone hypersonic boundary layers. The wave modes of disturbance in the blunt cone boundary layers are first, second, and third modes which are generated and propagated downstream along the wall. The results also show that as the frequency decreases, the amplitudes of wave modes of disturbance increase, but there is a critical value. When frequency is over the critial value, the amplitudes decrease. 6Improved image filter based on SPCNN显示文摘By extraction of the thoughts of non-linear model and adaptive model match, an improved Nagao filter is brought. Meanwhile a technique based on simplified pulse coupled neural network and used for noise positioning, is put forward. Combining the two methods above, we acquire a new method that can restore images cor-rupted by salt and pepper noise. 7A constitutive model coupling damage and material anisotropy for wide stress triaxiality显示文摘A constitutive model that can describe the damage evolution of anisotropic metal sheets during the complex forming processes which experience wide stress triaxiality history is essential to accurately predict the deformation and rupture behaviors of the processes.In this study,a modified Lemaitre damage criterion which couples with the anisotropic Barlat 89 yield function is established.The effects of stress triaxiality,Lode parameter and shear stress on damage accumulation are considered in the constitutive model.The model is numerically implemented and applied to fracture prediction in tensile tests with different stress triaxialities and a complex deformation process with wide stress triaxiality history.The good consistency of predictions and experiments indicates that the modified Lemaitre damage model has excellent fracture prediction ability.Finally,the accuracy of the model is analyzed and discussed.Rui LI Mei ZHAN Zebang ZHENG Hongrui ZHANG Xiaolei CUI Wei LV Yudong LEI 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,12:7
8Electroacupuncture attenuates neuropathic pain after brachial plexus injury显示文摘Electroacupuncture has traditionally been used to treat pain, but its effect on pain following brachial plexus injury is still unknown. In this study, rat models of an avulsion injury to the left brachial plexus root(associated with upper-limb chronic neuropathic pain) were given electroacupuncture stimulation at bilateral Quchi(LI11), Hegu(LI04), Zusanli(ST36) and Yanglingquan(GB34). After electroacupuncture therapy, chronic neuropathic pain in the rats' upper limbs was significantly attenuated. Immunofluorescence staining showed that the expression of β-endorphins in the arcuate nucleus was significantly increased after therapy. 9A high-fiber diet synergizes with Prevotella copri and exacerbates rheumatoid arthritis显示文摘Both preclinical and established rheumatoid arthritis(RA)patients display alterations in the gut microbiome.Prevotella spp.are preferentially enriched in a subset of RA patients.Here,we isolated a Prevotella strain,P.copri RA,from the feces of RA patients and showed that colonization of P.copri RA exacerbated arthritis in a collagen-induced arthritis(CIA)model.With the presence of P.copri RA colonization,a high-fiber diet exacerbated arthritis via microbial alterations and intestinal inflammation.Colonization of P.copri together with a high-fiber diet enabled the digestion of complex fiber,which led to the overproduction of organic acids,including fumarate,succinate and short-chain fatty acids.Succinate promoted proinflammatory responses in macrophages,and supplementation with succinate exacerbated arthritis in the CIA model.Our findings highlight the importance of dysbiosis when evaluating the effects of dietary interventions on RA pathogenesis and provide new insight into dietary interventions or microbiome modifications to improve RA management.Lingjuan Jiang Mengmeng Shang Shengnan Yu Yudong Liu Hui Zhang Yangzhong Zhou Min Wang Tingting Wang Hui Li Zhihua Liu Xuan Zhang 2022Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,12:6

11The Medium Energy X-ray telescope (ME) onboard the Insight-HXMT astronomy satellite显示文摘The Medium Energy X-ray telescope(ME) is one of the three main telescopes on board the Insight hard X-ray modulation telescope(Insight-HXMT) astronomy satellite. ME contains 1728 pixels of Si-PIN detectors sensitive in 5-30 ke V with a total geometrical area of 952 cm^2. The application specific integrated circuit(ASIC) chip, VA32TA6, is used to achieve low power consumption and low readout noise. The collimators define three kinds of field of views(FOVs) for the telescope, 1°×4°, 4°×4°,and blocked ones. Combination of such FOVs can be used to estimate the in-orbit X-ray and particle background components.The energy resolution of ME is ~3 ke V at 17.8 ke V(FWHM) and the time resolution is 255 μs. 12Recent advances in Ni-rich layered oxide particle materials for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Ni-rich layered oxides with chemical formula of LiNixCoyMnzO2 or LiNixCoyAl2O2(x+y+z=1,x≥0.6)have been considered as promising cathode materials for 1让hium-ion batteries(LIBs)because of their high specific capacity(≥180mAhg^-1)and acceptable manufacture cost.However,the problems associated with high Nicontent severely restrict their large-scale applications.In this review,we summarize the recent advances in Ni-rich layered oxide particle materials for LIBs.We begin with the introduction of the structure,redox mechanism,and problems of Ni-rich layered oxides,mainly including residual lithium compounds,gas evolution,rock-salt phase formation,microcrack of particles,dissolution of transitionmetal ions,and thermal runaway.Then,four strategies(primary particle engineering,surface coating,doping,concentration gradient design)toward solving the problems of Ni-rich layered oxides will be systematically discussed with the emphasis on structure-performa nee relati on ships.To achieve satisfied comprehensive performance and accelerate large-scale applications of Ni-rich layered oxides,the combination of two or more strategies(particle engineering and surface/bulk stabilization techniques)w让h synergistic effects is necessary in future works.This review would promote further research and application of high-performance Ni-rich layered oxide particle materials for LIBs.Yong Lu Yudong Zhang Qiu Zhang Fangyi Cheng Jun Chen 2020Particuology2020,,6:5
13Effects of Ultrasonic Treatment on Residue Properties显示文摘The changes in properties and structural parameters of four vacuum residue samples before and after ultrasonic treatment were analyzed.Ultrasonic treatment could increase the carbon residue value,decrease the average molecular weight and viscosity,which can barely influence the density of vacuum residue.Meanwhile the constitution of residue can be varied including the decrease in the content of saturates,aromatics and asphaltenes,while the increase in the content of resins can lead to an increase in the total content of asphaltenes and resins.Among the four kinds of residue samples,there is a common trend that the more the content of asphaltenes in feedstock is,the more the increase in the content of resins,the more significant decrease in the aromatic content and the less decrease in the saturates content after ultrasonic treatment of residue would be.Changes in the structure and content of asphaltenes caused by ultrasonic treatment have a significant impact on the changes in residue properties.Ultrasonic treatment has changed the structural parameters of residue such as decrease in the total carbon number of average molecule (CTotal),the total number of rings (RT),the aromatic carbon number (CA),the aromatic rings number (RA)and the naphthenic rings number (RN),and increase of characterization factor (KH).The study has indicated that ultrasonic treatment of vacuum residue can change the average structure of residue,and the changes in the content and structure of asphaltenes are the main cause leading to property changes.The results of residue hydrotreating revealed that coke yield decreased,whereas the gas and light oil yield and conversion increased after ultrasonic treatment of vacuum residue.Sun Yudong Zhang Qiang Shi Honghong Wang Xue Liu Bo 2013China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2013,15,4:5
14Bruceine D inhibits HIF-1α-mediated glucose metabolism in hepatocellular carcinoma by blocking ICAT/β-catenin interaction显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths,characterized by highly hypoxic tumor microenvironment.Hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α)is a major regulator involved in cellular response to changes of oxygen levels,supporting the adaptation of tumor cells to hypoxia.Bruceine D(BD)is an isolated natural quassinoid with multiple anti-cancer effects.Here,we identified BD could significantly inhibit the HIF-1α expression and its subsequently mediated HCC cell metabolism.Using biophysical proteomics approaches,we identified inhibitor of β-catenin and T-cell factor(ICAT)as the functional target of BD.By targeting ICAT,BD disrupted the interaction of bcatenin and ICAT,and promoted β-catenin degradation,which in turn induced the decrease of HIF-1α expression.Furthermore,BD could inhibit HCC cells proliferation and tumor growth in vivo,and knockdown of ICAT substantially increased resistance to BD treatment in vitro.Our data highlight the potential of BD as a modulator of β-catenin/HIF-1α axis mediated HCC metabolism.Rui Huang Lijun Zhang Jinmei Jin Yudong Zhou Hongwei Zhang Chao Lv Dong Lu Ye Wu Hong Zhang Sanhong Liu Hongzhuan Chen Xin Luan Weidong Zhang 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,11:4
15Overexpressed Cyclin D1 and CDK4 proteins are responsible for the resistance to CDK4/6 inhibitor in breast cancer that can be reversed by PI3K/mTOR inhibitors显示文摘CDK4/6 inhibitors are the standard treatment in advanced HR+/HER2-breast cancer patients.Nevertheless,the resistance to CDK4/6 inhibitors is inevitable and the strategies to overcome resistance are of great interest.Here,we show that the palbociclibresistant breast cancer cells expressed significantly higher levels of Cyclin D1 and CDK4 proteins because of upregulated protein synthesis.Silencing Cyclin D1 or CDK4 led to cell cycle arrest while silencing Cyclin E1 or CDK2 restored the sensitivity to palbociclib.Furthermore,PI3K/mTOR pathway was hyper-activated in palbociclib-resistant cells,leading to more phosphorylated 4E-BP1 and higher levels of Cyclin D1 and CDK4 translation.Targeting PI3K/mTOR pathway with a specific PI3Kαinhibitor(BYL719)or an mTOR inhibitor(everolimus)reduced the protein levels of Cyclin D1 and CDK4,and restored the sensitivity to palbociclib.The tumor samples expressed significantly higher levels of Cyclin D1,CDK4,p-AKT and p-4E-BP1 after progression on palbociclib treatment.In conclusion,our findings suggest that overexpressed Cyclin D1 and CDK4 proteins lead to the resistance to CDK4/6 inhibitor and PI3K/mTOR inhibitors are able to restore the sensitivity to CDK4/6 inhibitors,which provides the biomarker and rationale for the combinational use of CDK4/6 inhibitors and PI3K/mTOR inhibitors after CDK4/6 inhibitor resistance in breast cancer.Zijie Cai Jingru Wang Yudong Li Qianfeng Shi Liang Jin Shunying Li Mengdi Zhu Qi Wang Lok Lam Wong Wang Yang Hongna Lai Chang Gong Yandan Yao Yujie Liu Jun Zhang Herui Yao Qiang Liu 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,1:4
16Design and test of 4ZZ-4A2 full-hydraulic self-propelled jujube harvester显示文摘The cultivated area of jujube in Xinjiang has increased rapidly in recent years.While the jujube harvest by hand has the shortage of high labor intensity,low efficiency and high labor cost,in addition,the harvesting machinery applying to dwarf and dense planting mode of jujubes is unavailable in Xinjiang.The 4ZZ-4A2 based on the full-hydraulic self-propelled jujube harvester was designed to solve the above problems.The harvester was mainly composed of a frame,a vibrating device,a jujube collecting and conveying device,an air separation device,a steering system,a hydraulic system and a jujube suction device and was capable of completing vibration,collection,conveying,cleaning and sundries removal work of jujubes through one step.The jujubes dropped on the ground were picked up at the same time.The AMESim simulation software was adopted to perform simulation analysis on the overall hydraulic system.The results showed that the speed of the vibrating motor was stable at about 650 r/min(the corresponding vibration frequency is 10.83 Hz)with the torque of 80 N·m,the speed of the conveyor motor was stable at 77 r/min with the torque of 77 N·m;the speed of the fan motor was stable at 54 r/min with the torque of 53.6 N·m;the speed of the walking motor fluctuated around 100 r/min with the torque of about 1000 N·m;the hydraulic steering system responded rapidly and could satisfy the actual working requirements of the jujube harvester.The jujube garden test results showed that the harvester could reach to the optimum harvesting effect when running at the speed of 0.5 m/s.Under such speed,the ground jujube picking rate was 45.1%,the tree jujube harvesting rate was 93.2%,the loss rate was 2.9%,and the damage rate was 0.9%.This study can provide theoretical basis and technical support for the jujube harvester.Wei Fu Zhiyuan Zhang Kai Ding Weibin Cao Za Kan Junbing Pan Yudong Liu 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,4:4
17Experimental studies on interaction of water mist with class K fires显示文摘Interaction of water mist with cooking oil fires is studied experimentally and theoretically. A LDV/APV system is used to measure the velocity and diameter of water mist at different pressures in the experiments,and the effect of water mist velocity and diameter on fire extinguishment efficiency is investi-gated. The experimental results show that water mist has excellent surface cooling effect; it can control and extinguish cooking oil fires quickly without re-ignition. The critical temperature (Tfo) is calculated by energy balance equation,and the fire plume momentum is calculated and compared with that of water mist in order to determine the critical velocity (νwy) of fire extinguishment. 18Dual-Wavelength Laser Flash Raman Spectroscopy Method for In-Situ Measurements of the Thermal Diffusivity: Principle and Experimental Verification显示文摘This paper presents an in-situ, non-contact, non-destructive 'dual-wavelength laser flash Raman spectroscopy method' for measuring the thermal diffusivity. In this method, a heating pulse is used to heat the sample and another pulsed laser with a different wavelength and negligible heating effect is used as a probe to measure the sample temperature changes during the heating and cooling periods from the Raman peak shifts. The sample temperature rise and fall curves are measured by changing the delay between the heating pulse and the probing pulse with the thermal diffusivity then characterized by fitting the temperature curves. The time delay between the heating and probing pulses can be precisely controlled with a minimum step of 100 ps. Hence, the temperature variation can be scanned with an ultra-high temporal resolution of up to 100 ps, which significantly improves the measurement accuracy of transient thermal parameters. The measurement accuracy of this method has been verified using a bulk material model and experiments. 19Site amplification effects as an explanation for the intensity anomaly in the Hanyuan Town during the Wenchuan Mw 7.9 earthquake显示文摘The Hanyuan Town is located approximately 200 km from the macro-epicenter of the great Wenchuan earthquake. However, it is within the only Intensity Ⅷ zone, surrounded by a region of Intensity Ⅵ. The objective of this study was to investigate this high-intensity anomaly with respect to the site amplifications in the Hanyuan Town. The base inputs were derived from the records at a nearby strong-motion station because no records were available from the town. The characteristics of the subsurface formations and their dynamic properties at a typical site in the town were obtained by drilling, field tests and laboratory tests. Seismic response and parametric sensitivity analyses of the site were conducted using Shake 91, and the results were compared with the provisions for rare earthquakes from the Chinese Code for Seismic Design of Buildings(GBJ11-89). The results showed that the average peak acceleration at the site during the Wenchuan earthquake is similar to the code-specified value under rare earthquakes, that the corresponding spectral accelerations for periods between approximately 0.35 and 0.75 s are significantly stronger than those specified by the code and that the average amplification factor at the site is significantly higher than the mean value of the site class. 20Cancer-associated adipocyte-derived G-CSF promotes breast cancer malignancy via Stat3 signaling显示文摘Adipocyte is the most predominant cell type in the tumor microenvironment of breast cancer and plays a pivotal role in cancer progression,yet the underlying mechanisms and functional mediators remain elusive.We isolated primary preadipocytes from mammary fat pads of human breast cancer patients and generated mature adipocytes and cancer-associated adipocytes(CAAs)in vitro.The CAAs exhibited significantly different gene expression profiles as assessed by transcriptome sequencing.One of the highly expressed genes in CAAs is granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(G-CSF).Treatment with recombinant human G-CSF protein or stable expression of human G-CSF in triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)cell lines enhanced epithelial–mesenchymal transition,migration,and invasion of cancer cells,by activating Stat3.Accordantly,targeting G-CSF/Stat3 signaling with G-CSF-neutralizing antibody,a chemical inhibitor,or siRNAs for Stat3 could all abrogate CAA-or G-CSF-induced migration and invasion of breast cancer cells.The pro-invasive genes MMP2 and MMP9 were identified as target genes of G-CSF in TNBC cells.Furthermore,in human breast cancer tissues,elevated G-CSF expression in adipocytes is well correlated with activated Stat3 signal in cancer cells.Together,our results suggest a novel strategy to intervene with invasive breast cancers by targeting CAA-derived G-CSF.Li Liu Yudong Wu Cheng Zhang Chong Zhou Yining Li Yi Zeng Chunbo Zhang Rong Li Daya Luo Lieliang Wang Long Zhang Shuo Tu Huan Deng Shiwen Luo Ye-Guang Chen Xiangyang Xiong Xiaohua Yan 2020Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2020,12,9:4
