| 1 | Porphyromonas gingivalis exacerbates ulcerative colitis via Porphyromonas gingivalis peptidylarginine deiminase显示文摘Abstract:Ulcerative Colitis(UC)has been reported to be related to Porphyromonas gingivalis(P.gingivalis).Porphyromonas gingivalis peptidylarginine deiminase(PPAD),a virulence factor released by P.gingivalis,is known to induce inflammatory responses.To explore the pathological relationships between PPAD and UC,we used homologous recombination technology to construct a P.gingivalis strain in which the PPAD gene was deleted(Δppad)and aΔppad strain in which the PPAD gene was restored(comΔppad).C57 BL/6 mice were orally gavaged with saline,P.gingivalis,Δppad,or comΔppad twice a week for the entire 40 days(days 0-40),and then,UC was induced by dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)solution for 10 days(days 31-40).P.gingivalis and comΔppad exacerbated DDS-induced colitis,which was determined by assessing the parameters of colon length,disease activity index,and histological activity index,butΔppad failed to exacerbate DDS-induced colitis.Flow cytometry and ELISA revealed that compared withΔppad,P.gingivalis,and comΔppad increased T helper 17(Th17)cell numbers and interleukin(IL)-17 production but decreased regulatory T cells(Tregs)numbers and IL-10 production in the spleens of mice with UC.We also cocultured P.gingivalis,Δppad,or comΔppad with T lymphocytes in vitro and found that P.gingivalis and comΔppad significantly increased Th17 cell numbers and decreased Treg cell numbers.Immunofluorescence staining of colon tissue paraffin sections also confirmed these results.The results suggested that P.gingivalis exacerbated the severity of UC in part via PPAD. | Xida Zhao Jingbo Liu Chong Zhang Ning Yu Ze Lu Shuwei Zhang Yuchao Li Qian Li Junchao Liu Dongjuan Liu Yaping Pan | 2021 | International Journal of Oral Science2021,13,3: | 5 |

| 3 | First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. | 5 | Optimal Waist Circumference Cut-off values for Identifying Metabolic Risk Factors in Middle-aged and Elderly Subjects in Shandong Province of China显示文摘Objective To study the optimal waist circumference(WC) cut-off values for identifying metabolic risk factors in middle-aged and elderly subjects in Shandong Province of China. Methods A total of 2 873 men and 5 559 women were included in this cross-sectional study. Metabolic syndrome(MetS) was diagnosed according to the definition of Chinese Diabetes Society in 2004. The relation between WC and MetS was analyzed by multivariate logistic regression analysis. The optimal WC cut-off values were identified using the area under the ROC curve and the different diagnostic criteria for central obesity were compared. Results The WC was the risk factor for MetS independent of BMI, blood glucose, blood lipid, and blood pressure. The optimal WC cut-off value was 83.8 cm and 91.1 cm for identifying MetS in women and men, respectively. Compared with 80 cm and 85 cm for women and men, 85 cm and 90 cm had a higher Youden index for identifying all metabolic risk factors and MetS in women and men. | 9 | Analysis of the Light Concentration Loss of a Fresnel CPV/T System after Dust Accumulation显示文摘Dust accumulation is one of the reasons for the performance degradation of concentrating photovoltaic and thermal(CPV/T) systems due to the deposition of dust particles with different compositions, shapes, sizes, and masses. In this work, an optical model was developed to investigate the influence of the particle size, diameter, shape, and deposition density on the light concentration efficiency, using the Monte Carlo raytracing(MCRT) method in the Tracepro software. The triangular particles had a larger influence on the light ray deflection and energy flux degradation than the circular and square particles. An average increase in the dust density of 1 g/m^(2) decreased the light concentration efficiency of particles with sizes smaller than 50 μm and 60 μm by 3.31% and 3.26%, respectively. | 10 | Distribution of potential geological hazards and control factors in Qingdao offshore, China显示文摘Engineering construction actively occurs in coastal zones, and these areas have numerous potential geological hazard factors. Since 2009, the development of geological surveys in sea areas has promoted extensive geophysical surveys in Qingdao offshore. In the present study, the types and distribution of potential geological hazard factors were systematically revealed using sub-bottom profile data, side-scan sonar data, and single-channel seismic data, among others. Based on previous research findings, the potential geological hazard factors are classified, and control factors in Qingdao offshore are discussed. The research results show that the primary potential geological hazards include active faults, buried paleo channels, shallow gas, irregular bedrock, eroded gullies, estuary deltas, tidal sand ridges, and seawater intrusion. | 14 | Efficient perovskite solar cells employing a solution-processable copper phthalocyanine as a hole-transporting material显示文摘The development of alternative low-cost and high-performing hole-transporting materials(HTMs) is of great significance for the potential large-scale application of perovskite solar cells(PSCs) in the future.Here,a facilely synthesized solution-processable copper tetra-(2,4-dimethyl-3-pentoxy) phthalocyanine(CuPc-DMP) via only two simple steps,has been incorporated as a hole-transporting material(HTM) in mesoscopic perovskite solar cells(PSCs).The optimized devices based on such a HTM afford a very competitive power conversion efficiency(PCE) of up to 17.1%measured at 100 mW cm^(-2) AM 1.5G irradiation,which is on par with that of the well-known 2,2',7,7'-tetrakis(N'N'-di-p-methoxyphenylamine)-9,9'-spirobifluorene(spiro-OMeTAD)(16.7%) under equivalent conditions.This is,to the best of our knowledge,the highest value reported so far for metal organic complex-based HTMs in PSCs.The advantages of this HTM observed,such as facile synthetic procedure,superior hole transport characteristic,high photovoltaic performance together with the feasibility of tailoring the molecular structure would make solution-processable copper phthalocyanines as a class of promising HTM that can be further explored in PSCs.The present finding highlights the potential application of solution processed metal organic complexes as HTMs for cost-effective and high-performing PSCs. | Xiaoqing Jiang Ze Yu Jianbo Lai Yuchen Zhang Ning Lei Dongping Wang Licheng Sun | 2017 | Science China Chemistry2017,60,3: | 1 |
| 15 | Significantly enhanced varistor properties of CaCu_(3)Ti_(4)O_(12) based ceramics by designing superior grain boundary:Deepening and broadening interface states显示文摘Significantly enhanced varistor properties via tailoring interface states were obtained in Ca_(1-2x/3)Y_(x)Cu_(3)Ti_(4)O_(12)-SrCu_(3)Ti_(4)O_(12) composite ceramics.The breakdown field was improved to 35.8 kV cm^(-1) and the nonlinear coefficient in 0.1-1 mA cm^(-2) was enhanced to 14.6 for Ca_(0.67)Y_(0.5)Cu_(3)Ti_(4)O_(12)-SrCu_(3)Ti_(4)O_(12).Noticeably,the withstand voltage of single grain boundary reached up to 24 V while the reported ones were constant to about 3 V.Greatly improved properties were attributed to the formation of superior grain boundary rather than the reduced grain size.Surprisingly,with distinct discrepancy of nonlinear performance in the composites,the resistance and activation energy of grain boundary exhibited little differences.Based on the double Schottky barrier at grain boundary and the field-assisted thermal emission model,it was found that the excellent electrical nonlinearity arose from the formation of deeper and broader interface states at grain boundary.In this case,interface states were not easily entirely filled and the barrier could maintain its height under applied voltage.This work provides a novel routine for enhancing the varistor properties of CaCu_(3)Ti_(4)O_(12) based ceramics by manipulating interface states at grain boundary. | Zhuang Tang Kai Ning Zhiyao Fu Ze Lian Kangning Wu Shoudao Huang | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,13: | 1 |

| 17 | Investigation and numerical simulation of summer sedimentation in Jiaozhou Bay, China显示文摘In recent years,development activities have had a significant impact on the environment of the Jiaozhou Bay,China.To ensure the sustainable economic and social development of the Jiaozhou Bay area,it is necessary to strengthen corresponding control measures.The important prerequisite is to properly understand the environmental conditions laws of natural change,especially the dynamic processes of sediment and the characteristics of landform evolution.Based on the data of continuous observation at 6 stations in Jiaozhou Bay for 25 hours,the Hydrodynamic Eutrophication Model(HEM-3D)was used to simulate the sediment erosion and deposition.The results show that the maximum suspended sediment concentration in the sea area of Jiaozhou Bay is about 40 mg/L,which appears in the northwestern area of the bay top and the Cangkou watercourse area,and the low concentration is located in the area of the central Jiaozhou Bay towards the bay mouth.The suspended sediment is 6?10 mg/L.Affected by a decrease in seawater material,the direction of the prevailing current in the Jiaozhou Bay area is different from that of the sediment transport.The velocity of the flood current is higher than that of the ebb current.However,during flood tide,the flux of resuspended seafloor sediment outside and at the mouth of the bay is limited and cannot contribute significantly to the suspended sediment in the bay.During ebb tide,the resuspended sediment at the shallow-water bay head and the east and west sides spreads toward the bay mouth with the ebb current,although it extends beyond the bay through the bay mouth.The research results can provide scientific support for the Jiaozhou Bay project construction and environmental protection. | Yong Zhang Bin Chen Ze Ning Yun-fan Yang Gang Hu Xiao-bo Zhang Hou-jie Wang | 2019 | China Geology2019,2,4: | 1 |

| 19 | Application of bioremediation in oil contaminated soil显示文摘The long-term oil exploitation in oil fields has led to pollution of surrounding soil, creating a serious ecological problem. In order to promote and improve the application of microbial remediation in oil contaminated soil, experiment is carried out in polluted area in Zhongyuan Oilfield. In the experiment, indigenous microorganisms and other physical and chemical methods are employed, ryegrass is grown, and environmental factors in soil are regulated to degrade the oil and treat the polluted soil. Results show that when the average oil content in the soil is about 523.08 mg/kg, 65 days' remediation through plants and microorganisms could help bring the oil content down to 74.61 mg/kg, achieving a degradation rate of 85.74%; through salinity treatment, salt content in soil is reduced by 62.93-82.03% to 399-823 mg/kg from previous 2.22 g/kg. Through this experiment, the bioremediation method is improved and its effectiveness and feasibility are testified. | 20 | In-situ revealing the degradation mechanisms of Pt film over 1000℃显示文摘Degradation of a metallic film under harsh thermal-mechanical-electrical coupling field conditions determines its service temperature and lifetime.In this work,the self-heating degradation behaviors of Pt thin films above 1000℃were studied in situ by TEM at the nanoscale.The Pt films degraded mainly through void nucleation and growth on the Pt-SiN_(x)interface.Voids preferentially formed at the grain boundary and triple junction intersections with the interface.At temperatures above 1040℃,the voids nucleated at both the grain boundaries and inside the Pt grains.A stress simulation of the suspended membrane suggests the existence of local tensile stress in the Pt film,which promotes the nucleation of voids at the Pt-Si Nxinterface.The grain-boundary-dominated mass transportation renders the voids grow preferentially at GBs and triple junctions in a Pt film.Additionally,under the influence of an applied current,the voids that nucleated inside Pt grains grew to a large size and accelerated the degradation of the Pt film. | Dongfeng Ma Shengcheng Mao Jiao Teng Xinliang Wang Xiaochen Li Jin Ning Zhipeng Li Qing Zhang Zhiyong Tian Menglong Wang Ze Zhang Xiaodong Han | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,36: | 0 |
