1Genetic diversity of rice cultivars (Oryza sativa L.) in China and the temporal trends in recent fifty years显示文摘To understand geographical distribution of the genetic diversity of rice cultivars {Oryza sativa L.) and its trends in recent fifty years in China, 453 ’ accessions were analyzed by 36 microsatellites loci and 42 phenotypic traits. Results revealed that the genetic diversity by SSRs is highly consistent with that by phenotypic traits and the genetic diversity of indica cultivars was higher than that of japonica cultivars; the genetic diversity of cultivars declined from 1950s to 1980s and then increased greatly; among the six rice ecological zones (REZs), genetic diversity of REZTl was the highest and those of REZV and REZVT were the lowest at both DNA and phenotypic level. Jiangsu and Jiangxi provinces in the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River and Sichuan province in southwest of China were the areas with the highest genetic diversity. 2Genetic diversity in Chinese modern wheat varieties revealed by microsatellite markers显示文摘Genetic diversity of 1680 modern varieties in Chinese candidate core collections was analyzed at 78 SSR loci by fluorescence detection system. A total of 1336 alleles were detected, of which 1253 alleles could be annotated into 71 loci. For these 71 loci, the alleles ranged from 4 to 44 with an average of 17.6, and the PIC values changed from 0.19 to 0.89 with an average of 0.69. (1) In the three genomes of wheat, the average genetic richness was B>A>D, and the genetic diversity indexes were B>D>A. (2) Among the seven homoeologous groups, the average genetic richness was 2=7>3>4>6>5>1, and the genetic diversity indexes were 7>3>2>4>6>5>1. As a whole, group 7 possessed the highest genetic diversity, while groups 1 and 5 were the lowest. (3) In the 21 wheat chromosomes, 7A, 3B and 2D possessed much higher genetic diversity, while 2A, 1B, 4D, 5D and 1D were the lowest. (4) The highest average genetic diversity index existed in varieties bred in the 1950s, and then it declined continually. However, the change tendency of genetic diversity among decades was not greatly sharp. This was further illustrated by changes of the average genetic distance between varieties. In the 1950s it was the largest (0.731). Since the 1960s, it has decreased gradually (0.711, 0.706, 0.696, 0.695). The genetic base of modern varieties is becoming narrower and narrower. 3Mercury adsorption characteristics of HBr-modified fly ash in an entrained-flow reactor显示文摘In this study, the mercury adsorption characteristics of HBr-modified fly ash in an entrained-flow reactor were investigated through thermal decomposition methods. The results show that the mercury adsorption performance of the HBr-modified fly ash was enhanced significantly. The mercury species adsorbed by unmodified fly ash were Hg Cl2,Hg S and Hg O. The mercury adsorbed by HBr-modified fly ash, in the entrained-flow reactor,existed in two forms, Hg Br2 and Hg O, and the HBr was the dominant factor promoting oxidation of elemental mercury in the entrained-flow reactor. In the current study, the concentration of Hg Br2 and Hg O in ash from the fine ash vessel was 4.6 times greater than for ash from the coarse ash vessel. 4Removal of total cyanide in coking wastewater during a coagulation process: Significance of organic polymers显示文摘Whether a cationic organic polymer can remove more total cyanide(TCN) than a non-ionic organic polymer during the same flocculation system has not been reported previously. In this study, the effects of organic polymers with different charge density on the removal mechanisms of TCN in coking wastewater are investigated by polyferric sulfate(PFS) with a cationic organic polymer(PFS-C) or a non-ionic polymer(PFS-N). The coagulation experiments results show that residual concentrations of TCN(Fe(CN)3-6) after PFS-C flocculation(TCN < 0.2 mg/L) are much lower than that after PFS-N precipitation. This can be attributed to the different TCN removal mechanisms of the individual organic polymers. To investigate the roles of organic polymers, physical and structural characteristics of the flocs are analyzed by FT-IR, XPS, TEM and XRD. Owing to the presence of N+in PFS-C, Fe(CN)3-6 and negative flocs(Fe(CN)3-6adsorbed on ferric hydroxides) can be removed via charge neutralization and electrostatic patch flocculation by the cationic organic polymer. 5Mechanism for suspension magnetization roasting of iron ore using straw-type biomass reductant显示文摘As an alternative reductant for fossil fuel in the future,straw-type biomass contributes to emission reduction and green utilization in the suspension roasting process.In this study,the influences of the roasting time,roasting temperature and dose of straw-type biomass after suspension magnetization roasting(SMR) and separation were investigated.The optimal conditions were determined to be a roasting time of 7.5 min with a straw-type biomass dose of 20 wt% and a roasting temperature of 800℃ in which an iron grade of 71.07% and recovery of 94.17% were obtained for the iron concentrate.The maximum saturation magnetization under optimal conditions was 35.05 A·m^(2)·g^(-1),and the gaseous regulation of the biomass revealed that cumulative reducing gas volume was 293.93 mL at the optimal roasting time of450 s.The transformation of hematite to magnetite was detected by X-ray diffraction(XRD).During microstructure evolution,the outer layer consisting of fissures and tiny holes continuously deepened toward the core.Yue Cao Yongsheng Sun Peng Gao Yuexin Han Yanjun Li 2021International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,6:8

7Rational design of novel ultra-small amorphous Fe_(2)O_(3)nanodots/graphene heterostructures for all-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitors显示文摘Constructing graphene-based heterostructures with large interfacial area is an efficient approach to enhance the electrochemical performance of supercapacitors but remains great challenges in their synthesis.Herein,a novel ultra-small amorphous Fe_(2)O_(3)nanodots/graphene heterostructure(a-Fe_(2)O_(3)NDs/RGO)aerogel was facilely synthesized via excessive metal-ion-induced self-assembly and subsequent calcination route using Prussian blue/graphene oxide(PB/GO)composite aerogel as precursors.The deliberately designed a-Fe_(2)O_(3)NDs/RGO heterostructure offers a highly interconnected porous conductive network,large heterostructure interfacial area,and plenty of accessible active sites,greatly facilitating the electron transfer,electrolyte diffusion,and pseudocapacitive reactions.The obtained a-Fe_(2)O_(3)NDs/RGO aerogel could be used as flexible free-standing electrodes after mechanical compression,which exhibited a significantly enhanced specific capacitance of 347.4 F·g^(-1)at 1 A·g^(-1),extraordinary rate capability of 184 F·g^(-1)at 10 A·g^(-1),and decent cycling stability.With the as-prepared a-Fe_(2)O_(3)NDs/RGO as negative electrodes and the Co_(3)O_(4)NDs/RGO as positive electrodes,an all-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor(a-Fe_(2)O_(3)NDs/RGO//Co_(3)O_(4)NDs/RGO asymmetric supercapacitor(ASC))was assembled,which delivered a high specific capacitance of 69.1 F·g^(-1)at 1 A·g^(-1)and an impressive energy density of 21.6 W·h·k·g^(-1)at 750 W·k·g^(-1),as well as good cycling stability with a capacity retention of 94.3%after 5,000 cycles.This work provides a promising avenue to design high-performance graphene-based composite electrodes and profound inspiration for developing advanced flexible energy-storage devices.Chenxiao Wu Zhifang Zhang Zhonghui Chen Zuimin Jiang Huiyu Li Haijing Cao Yongsheng Liu Yanyan Zhu Zebo Fang Xiangrong Yu 2021Nano Research2021,14,4:6
8Discovery of marine fossils in the upper part of the Permian Linxi Formation in Lopingian, Xingmeng area, China显示文摘Two important geological issues have a long history of debate in the Xingmeng area.The first concerns the final closure of the North China plate,Siberia plate and several intermediate massifs in the area,and the other concerns the folding and lifting of the Xingmeng Trough.Disagreements arise because of issues involving the tectonicpalaeogeographical environment of the Upper Permian deposits of the Linxi Formation.The Linxi Formation(Upper Permian)is generally considered to be either an exclusively continental deposit or separated into marineterrigenous facies deposited during the Lower to Middle Linxi Period and continental deposits in the Upper Linxi Period.However,in this study,large numbers of bryozoan and sponge spicule fossils were discovered for this first time in the thick limestone layers and lenses of the upper part of the Linxi Formation found in the Guandi section of Linxi county in eastern Inner Mongolia.At the same time,abundant bryozoan fossils were also found in sedimentary tuff slices that were collected from the upper part of the Taohuayingzi Formation from the Taohuayingzi section in Ar Horqin Banner,and abundant small connecting body crinoid stem fossils were found in the dark shale of the Yangjiagou Formation from the Yangjiagou section of Jiutai county,Jilin Province.These marine fossils provide the first evidence that the Xingmeng area was still a marine or mainly marine environment at the end of the late Permian.This not only provides conclusive evidence for the recognition of the above two major geological issues but also promotes changes in the approach towards research,exploration and development of oil and gas,shale gas(oil),and other mineral resources that are preserved in the late Permian layers of the Northeast-Xingmeng area.Yongsheng Zhang Shugang Tian Zishun Li Yuexuan Gong Enyuan Xing Zhuozhuo Wang Daxing Zhai Cao Jie Su Kui Wang Meng 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,1:6
9Genetic structure and diversity of Oryza sativa L. in Guizhou,China显示文摘Preserving many kinds of rice resources and rich variations, Guizhou Province is one of the districts with the highest genetic diversity of cultivated rice (Oryza sativa L.) in China. In the current research, genetic diversity and structure of 537 accessions of cultivated rice from Guizhou were studied using 36 microsatellite markers and 39 phenotypic characters. The results showed that the model-based genetic structure was the same as genetic-distance-based one using SSRs but somewhat different from the documented classification (mainly based on phenotype) of two subspecies. The accessions being classified into indica by phenotype but japonica by genetic structure were much more than that being classified into japonica by phenotype but indica by genetic structure. Like Ding Ying’s taxonomic sys- tem of cultivated rice, the subspecific differentiation was the most distinct differentiation within culti- vated rice. But the differentiation within indica or japonica population was different: japonica presented clearer differentiation between soil-watery ecotypes than indica, and indica presented clearer differen- tiation between seasonal ecotypes than japonica. Cultivated rices in Guizhou revealed high genetic diversity at both DNA and phenotypic levels. 11Telomere-to-telomere and gap-free reference genome assembly of the kiwifruit Actinidia chinensis显示文摘Kiwifruit is an economically and nutritionally important fruit crop with extremely high contents of vitamin C.However,the previously released versions of kiwifruit genomes all have a mass of unanchored or missing regions.Here,we report a highly continuous and completely gap-free reference genome of Actinidia chinensis cv.‘Hongyang’,named Hongyang v4.0,which is the first to achieve two de novo haploid-resolved haplotypes,HY4P and HY4A.HY4P and HY4A have a total length of 606.1 and 599.6 Mb,respectively,with almost the entire telomeres and centromeres assembled in each haplotype.In comparison with Hongyang v3.0,the integrity and contiguity of Hongyang v4.0 is markedly improved by filling all unclosed gaps and correcting some misoriented regions,resulting in∼38.6–39.5 Mb extra sequences,which might affect 4263 and 4244 protein-coding genes in HY4P and HY4A,respectively.Furthermore,our gap-free genome assembly provides the first clue for inspecting the structure and function of centromeres.Globally,centromeric regions are characterized by higher-order repeats that mainly consist of a 153-bp conserved centromere-specific monomer(Ach-CEN153)with different copy numbers among chromosomes.Functional enrichment analysis of the genes located within centromeric regions demonstrates that chromosome centromeres may not only play physical roles for linking a pair of sister chromatids,but also have genetic features for participation in the regulation of cell division.The availability of the telomere-to-telomere and gap-free Hongyang v4.0 reference genome lays a solid foundation not only for illustrating genome structure and functional genomics studies but also for facilitating kiwifruit breeding and improvement.Junyang Yue Qinyao Chen Yingzhen Wang Lei Zhang Chen Ye Xu Wang Shuo Cao Yunzhi Lin Wei Huang He Xian Hongyan Qin Yanli Wang Sijia Zhang Ying Wu Songhu Wang Yi Yue Yongsheng Liu 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,2:4
12Effect of mass transfer channels on flexural strength of C/SiC composites fabricated by femtosecond laser assisted CVI method with optimized laser power显示文摘In this study,femtosecond laser assisted-chemical vapor infiltration(LA-CVI)was employed to produce C/SiC composites with 1,3,and 5 rows of mass transfer channels.The effect of laser machining power on the quality of produced holes was investigated.The results showed that the increase in power yielded complete hole structures.The as-obtained C/SiC composites with different mass transfer channels displayed higher densification degrees with flexural strengths reaching 546±15 MPa for row mass transfer channel of 3.The strengthening mechanism of the composites was linked to the increase in densification and formation of'dense band'during LA-CVI process.Multiphysics finite element simulations of the dense band and density gradient of LA-CVI C/SiC composites revealed C/SiC composites with improved densification and lower porosity due to the formation of'dense band'during LA-CVI process.In sum,LA-CVI method is promising for future preparation of ceramic matrix composites with high densities.Jing Wang Liyang Cao Yunhai Zhang Yongsheng Liu Hui Fang Jie Chen 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,2:3

16Changes of gut microbiome and metabolome in the AOM/DSS mouse model of colorectal cancer with FLASH radiation显示文摘Objective:To investigate the differences in small intestinal toxicity and taxonomic composition,diversity,and functional pathways of gut microbiome and metabolome after different radiotherapies in mouse colorectal cancer(CRC)model.Methods:Azoxymethane/dextran sodium sulfate(AOM/DSS)-induced mouse CRC model was treated with single pulse FLASH-RT(dose rate 100 Gy/s)or CONV-RT(dose rate 2 Gy/min)at whole abdomen.At 12 d after radiotherapy,sections of small intestinal tract tissue were dissected for hematoxylin and eosin(HE)staining and the fresh feces were collected for 16S ribosomal RNA(rRNA)microbiome sequencing and liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry(LC-MS)metabolomics sequencing to assess changes in the gut microbiota and metabolites.Microbial high-throughput 16S rRNA data was analyzed with QIIME2 and LEfSe softwares.ProteoWizard,XCMS and Ropls softwares were used for LC-MS analysis.Results:HE staining showed that FLASH-RT maintained small intestinal integrity and reduced the radiotherapyinduced injury.Sequencing analysis of gut fecal microbiome showed that phylum Bacteroidetes and genera Prevotella and Lactobacillus of microbial community were increased after FLASH-RT.Metabolomics sequencing analysis revealed that the metabolites after FLASH-RT were enriched in amino acid metabolism,while cholesterol metabolism was top enriched after CONV-RT.Conclusions:FLASH-RT significantly mitigates the small intestine tissue damage compared with CONV-RT.FLASHRT and CONV-RT have different impact on gut microbiota and its metabolites.Our results provide a theoretical basis for the early evaluation,prediction and individualized treatment of the irradiation effect after novel FLASHRT on tumors through the evaluation of intestinal microbiota and metabolites.Mengmeng Xu Xinyu Qiu Qiu Chen Tianyu Yang Jingze Xu Liang Chen Lixiong Shuai Zhiming Xu Xinyang Cheng Yongsheng Zhang Zhifei Cao 2023Radiation Medicine and Protection2023,4,1:2
17Control system for cryogenic permanent magnet undulator(CPMU)of high energy photon source(HEPS)显示文摘Background High energy photon source(HEPS)is the fourth-generation light source,which uses a large number of highperformance insertion devices to generate synchrotron radiation.The control system is an important part of the insertion device(ID).Purpose Cryogenic permanent magnet undulator(CPMU)is one kind of IDs that works in liquid nitrogen temperature and ultra-high vacuum environment,and its control system is more difficult and complex than in-air ID.The design of the control system for CPMU will be introduced in detail.Method The sub-systems include high-precision magnetic gap control,safety protection,measurement and compensation of magnetic gap at cryogenic temperature and cryogenic temperature monitoring.Mature,reliable,stable technical schemes are designed to meet the technical specifications of sub-systems.Results The experiment results show that the magnetic gap motion accuracy can be controlled within 0.2–0.3μm under the step size of 1μm.The safety protection system has been tested in turn,and the predetermined protection can be achieved.The average value of magnetic gap cold contraction is 1.512 mm measured by optical micrometer,and the compensation is realized by software.The average temperature of the main magnet structure measured by the temperature sensors is 81.0 K,and the temperature gradient is 0.7 K/m.The temperature monitoring is reliable and stable.Conclusion The CPMU control system which is based on EPICS has been successfully applied to the CPMU prototype,and the test results have met the design specifications.Shutao Zhao Jianshe Cao Huihua Lu Xiaoyu Li Shuchen Sun Yajun Sun Xiangzhen Zhang Lei Zhang Yuhui Li Zhiqiang Li Wan Chen Lingling Gong Qing Guo Keyun Gong Yongsheng Huang Yanwei Yang Yufeng Yang 2021Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2021,5,1:2
18Thermal conductivity and bending strength of SiC composites reinforced by pitch-based carbon fibers显示文摘In this work,pitch-based carbon fibers were utilized to reinforce silicon carbide(SiC)composites via reaction melting infiltration(RMI)method by controlling the reaction temperature and resin carbon content.Thermal conductivities and bending strengths of composites obtained under different preparation conditions were characterized by various analytical methods.Results showed the formation of SiC whiskers(SiC_(w))during RMI process according to vapor–solid(VS)mechanism.SiC_(w) played an important role in toughening the C_(pf)/SiC composites due to crack bridging,crack deflection,and SiC_(w) pull-out.Increase in reaction temperature during RMI process led to an initial increase in thermal conductivity along in-plane and thickness directions of composites,followed by a decline.At reaction temperature of 1600℃,thermal conductivities along the in-plane and thickness directions were estimated to be 203.00 and 39.59 W/(m×K),respectively.Under these conditions,bending strength was recorded as 186.15±3.95 MPa.Increase in resin carbon content before RMI process led to the generation of more SiC matrix.Thermal conductivities along in-plane and thickness directions remained stable with desirable values of 175.79 and 38.86 W/(m×K),respectively.By comparison,optimal bending strength improved to 244.62±3.07 MPa.In sum,these findings look promising for future application of pitch-based carbon fibers for reinforcement of SiC ceramic composites.Liyang CAO Yongsheng LIU Yunhai ZHANG Yejie CAO Jingxin LI Jie CHEN Lu ZHANG Zheng QI 2022Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,2:2

20Inhibition of spore germination of Ulva pertusa by the marine bacterium Pseudoalteromonas haloplanktis CI4显示文摘The effect of the bacterial strain CI4 on the germination of spores from the green alga Ulva pertusa was assayed and it was found that the bacterial biofilm and cell-free supernatant strongly inhibited spore germination. In attempts to define the chemical nature of the antifouling substance in the supernatant of CI4,the culture supernatants were tested for activity after heat treatment,enzymatic treatments,size fractionation,and separation into aqueous and organic fractions. Results suggest that this bacterium produces an extracellular component with specific activity toward algal spores that was heat-sensitive and between 3 and 10 kDa in molecular size. The exposure of the organic phase fraction to spores showed inhibitive effect on spore germination. Pronase and carboxypeptidase y did not significantly affect the activity of inhibitory component,suggesting that the component was not a protein or a peptide.
