4Situation Awareness of Active Distribution Network:Roadmap,Technologies,and Bottlenecks显示文摘With the rapid development of local generation and demand response,the active distribution network(ADN),which aggregates and manages miscellaneous distributed resources,has moved from theory to practice.Secure and optimal operations now require an advanced situation awareness(SA)system so that operators are aware of operation states and potential risks.Current solutions in distribution supervisory control and data acquisition(DSCADA)as well as the distribution automation system(DAS)generally are not able to meet the technology requirements of SA.In this paper,the authors’participation in the project of developing an SA system as the basic component of a practical active distribution management system(ADMS)deployed in Beijing,China,is presented.This paper reviews the ADN’s development roadmap by illustrating the changes that are made in elements,topology,structure,and control scheme.Taking into consideration these hardware changes,a systematic framework is proposed for the main components and the functional hierarchy of an SA system for the ADN.The SA system’s implementation bottlenecks are also presented,including,but not limited to issues in big data platform,distribution forecasting,and security evaluation.Potential technology solutions are also provided.Jin Lin Can Wan Yonghua Song Renle Huang Xiaoshuang Chen Wanfang Guo Yi Zong You Shi 2016CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2016,2,3:13
5Framework for Artificial Intelligence Analysis in Large-scale Power Grids Based on Digital Simulation显示文摘The planning,design,operation,control and scientific research of power systems all require a variety of simulation analysis.Thus power grid simulation analysis is a fundamental supporting technology of large-scale power grids.In power grid simulation analysis,in addition to simulation calculations,there are many links for analysis and decision-making,relying on specialists.The introduction of advanced artificial intelligence technology provides a new method to improve the efficiency and accuracy of power grid simulation analysis.Nevertheless,the research of the related artificial intelligence technologies face a great deal of new challenges due to the complexity of the largescale power grid simulation data,including massive volumes,high dimensionality,strong coupling and complex correlations.Also a great deal of knowledge and experience need to be integrated in the process of analysis.In order to deal with these challenges,based on the existing works,this paper focuses on the core scientific problem of artificial intelligence analysis and decision making related to the massive simulation results of large-scale power grids,and proposes an artificial intelligence analysis method framework for large-scale power grids based on digital simulation,which includes the power grid simulation analysis knowledge model with application method,the power grid simulation knowledge mining method and the artificial intelligence models with transfer learning ability of diversified grids as well as analyzing and calculation adjusting for largescale power grid simulation results,etc.This work is expected to open up a new technical approach for large-scale power grid simulation analysis and provide strong technical support for the safe and stable operation of large-scale power grids.Yong Tang Yanhao Huang Hongzhi Wang Can Wang Qiang Guo Wei Yao 2018CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,4:12

7Chromosomal localization of the major ribosomal RNA genes in scallop Chlamys farreri显示文摘The chromosomes of Chlamys farreri were analyzed by means of silver staining and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) with 18S—28S rDNA probe. Probe was made by PCR amplification of a DNA fragment containing internal transcribed spacers ITS1 between 18S and 5.8S ribosomal RNA gene, ITS2 between 5.8S and 28S ribosomal RNA gene and 5.8S rRNA gene, and labeled by PCR incorporation of bio-16-dUTP. FISH signals were located on the short arm of subtelocentric chromosome 10. After silver-staining, nucleolus organizer regions (NORs) could be observed on the telomere of the short arm of chromosome 10. 8Dynamic changes of behaviors, dentate gyrus neurogenesis and hippocampal miR-124 expression in rats with depression induced by chronic unpredictable mild stress显示文摘The depression-like behavior phenotype,neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus and miR-124 expression in the hippocampus are the focus of current research on the pathogenesis of depression and antidepressant therapy.The present study aimed to clarify the dynamic changes of depression-like behavior,dentate gyrus neurogenesis and hippocampal miR-124 expression during depression induced by chronic stress to reveal pathological features at different stages of depression and to further provide insight into depression treatment.Chronic unpredictable mild stress depression models were established by exposing Sprague-Dawley rats to various mild stressors,including white noise,thermal swimming,stroboscopic illumination,soiled cages,pairing with three other stressed animals,cold swimming,tail pinch,restraint and water and food deprivation.Chronic unpredictable mild stress model rats underwent dynamic observation from 1 to 8 weeks and were compared with a control group(normal feeding without any stressors).To observe changes in the depression-like behavior phenotype during chronic unpredictable mild stress-induced depression,a sucrose preference test was used to evaluate the degree of anhedonia.An open-field test was used to evaluate locomotor activity and anxiety status.Compared with the control group,chronic unpredictable mild stress rats lost weight but did not have a depression-like behavioral phenotype at 1-4 weeks.Chronic unpredictable mild stress rats presented decreased sucrose preference and locomotor activity at 5-8 weeks.In addition,chronic unpredictable mild stress rats did not have significant anxiety-like behavior during 1-8 weeks of modeling.To observe neurogenesis dysfunctions and changes in neuronal number in the dentate gyrus during chronic unpredictable mild stress-induced depression,markers(DCX and DCX/BrdU)of neural proliferation and differentiation and the neuronal marker NeuN were assessed by immunofluorescence.Compared with the control group,neurogenesis and the neuronal number in the dentate gyrus did not change from 2 to 6 weeks;however,neural proliferation and differentiation in the dentate gyrus decreased,and the number of neurons decreased until the eighth week in the chronic unpredictable mild stress group.Real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction assays and fluorescence in situ hybridization were used to measure the expression of hippocampal miR-124 during chronic unpredictable mild stress-induced depression.The results showed that the expression of hippocampal miR-124 was unchanged during the first 4 weeks but increased from 5 to 6 weeks and decreased from 7 to 8 weeks compared with the control group.These findings indicate that during chronic unpredictable mild stress-induced depression,the behavioral phenotype,miR-124 expression in the hippocampus,neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus and neuronal numbers showed dynamic changes,which suggested that various pathological changes occur at different stages of depression.All experimental procedures and protocols were approved by the Experimental Animal Ethics Committee of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine of China in March 2015.Yun-Ling Huang Ning-Xi Zeng Jie Chen Jie Niu Wu-Long Luo Ping Liu Can Yan Li-Li Wu 2020Neural Regeneration Research2020,15,6:10
9The effects of the guide field on the structures of electron density depletions in collisionless magnetic reconnection显示文摘Two-dimensional particle-in-cell simulations are performed to investigate the formation of electron density depletions in collisionless magnetic reconnection.In anti-parallel reconnection,the quadrupole structures of the out-of-plane magnetic field are formed,and four symmetric electron density depletion layers can be found along the separatrices due to the effects of magetic mirror.With the increase of the initial guide field,the symmetry of both the out-of-plane magnetic field and electron density depletion layers is distorted.When the initial guide field is sufficiently large,the electron density depletion layers along the lower left and upper right separatrices disappear.The parallel electric field in guide field reconnection is found to play an important role in forming such structures of the electron density depletion layers.The structures of the out-of-plane magnetic field By and electron depletion layers in anti-parallel and guide field reconnection are found to be related to electron flow or in-plane currents in the separatrix regions.In anti-parallel reconnection,electrons flow towards the X line along the separatrices,and are directed away from the X line along the magnetic field lines just inside the separatrices.In guide field reconnection,electrons can only flow towards the X line along the upper left and lower right separatrices due to the existence of the parallel electric field in these regions.LU San LU QuanMing CAO Yang HUANG Can XIE JinLin WANG Shui 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,1:8
10Electron dynamics in collisionless magnetic reconnection显示文摘Magnetic reconnection provides a physical mechanism for fast energy conversion from magnetic energy to plasma kinetic energy. It is closely associated with many explosive phenomena in space plasma, usually collisionless in character. For this reason, researchers have become more interested in collisionless magnetic reconnection. In this paper, the various roles of electron dynamics in collisionless magnetic reconnection are reviewed. First, at the ion inertial length scale, ions and electrons are decoupled. The resulting Hall effect determines the reconnection electric field. Moreover, electron motions determine the current system inside the reconnection plane and the electron density cavity along the separatrices. The current system in this plane produces an out-of-plane magnetic field. Second, at the electron inertial length scale, the anisotropy of electron pressure determines the magnitude of the reconnection electric field in this region. The production of energetic electrons, which is an important characteristic during magnetic reconnection, is accelerated by the reconnection electric field. In addition, the different topologies, temporal evolution and spatial distribution of the magnetic field affect the accelerating process of electrons and determine the final energy of the accelerated electrons. Third, we discuss results from simulations and spacecraft observations on the secondary magnetic islands produced due to secondary instabilities around the X point, and the associated energetic electrons. Furthermore, progress in laboratory plasma studies is also discussed in regard to electron dynamics during magnetic reconnection. 11Numerical study of separation on the trailing edge of a symmetrical airfoil at a low Reynolds number显示文摘This study focuses on the trailing-edge separation of a symmetrical airfoil at a low Rey-nolds number. Finite volume method is adopted to solve the unsteady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equation. Flow of the symmetrical airfoil SD8020 at a low Reynolds number has been simulated. Laminar separation bubble in the flow field of the airfoil is observed and process of unsteady bubble burst and vortex shedding from airfoil surfaces is investigated. The time-dependent lift coefficient is characteristic of periodic fluctuations and the lift curve varies nonlinearly with the attack of angle. Laminar separation occurs on both surfaces of airfoil at small angles of attack. With the increase of angle of attack, laminar separation occurs and then reattaches near the trailing edge on the upper surface of airfoil, which forms laminar separation bubble. When the attack of angle reaches certain value, the laminar separation bubble is unstable and produces two kinds of large scale vortex, i.e. primary vortex and secondary vortex. The periodic processes that include secondary vortex production, motion of secondary vortex and vortex shedding cause fluctuation of the lift coefficient. The periodic time varies with attack of angle. 12Calculation of high-temperature insulation parameters and heat transfer behaviors of multilayer insulation by inverse problems method显示文摘In the present paper, a numerical model combining radiation and conduction for porous materials is developed based on the finite volume method. The model can be used to investigate high-temperature thermal insulations which are widely used in metallic thermal protection systems on reusable launch vehicles and high-temperature fuel cells. The effective thermal conductivities(ECTs) which are measured experimentally can hardly be used separately to analyze the heat transfer behaviors of conduction and radiation for high-temperature insulation. By fitting the effective thermal conductivities with experimental data, the equivalent radiation transmittance, absorptivity and reflectivity, as well as a linear function to describe the relationship between temperature and conductivity can be estimated by an inverse problems method. The deviation between the calculated and measured effective thermal conductivities is less than 4%. Using the material parameters so obtained for conduction and radiation, the heat transfer process in multilayer thermal insulation(MTI) is calculated and the deviation between the calculated and the measured transient temperatures at a certain depth in the multilayer thermal insulation is less than 6.5%.Huang Can Zhang Yue 2014Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2014,27,4:6
13Nondestructive 3D Image Analysis Pipeline to Extract Rice Grain Traits Using X-Ray Computed Tomography显示文摘The traits of rice panicles play important roles in yield assessment,variety classification,rice breeding,and cultivation management.Most traditional grain phenotyping methods require threshing and thus are time-consuming and labor-intensive;moreover,these methods cannot obtain 3D grain traits.In this work,based on X-ray computed tomography,we proposed an image analysis method to extract twenty-two 3D grain traits.After 104 samples were tested,the R^(2) values between the extracted and manual measurements of the grain number and grain length were 0.980 and 0.960,respectively.We also found a high correlation between the total grain volume and weight.In addition,the extracted 3D grain traits were used to classify the rice varieties,and the support vector machine classifier had a higher recognition accuracy than the stepwise discriminant analysis and random forest classifiers.In conclusion,we developed a 3D image analysis pipeline to extract rice grain traits using X-ray computed tomography that can provide more 3D grain information and could benefit future research on rice functional genomics and rice breeding.Weijuan Hu Can Zhang Yuqiang Jiang Chenglong Huang Qian Liu Lizhong Xiong Wanneng Yang Fan Chen 2020Plant Phenomics2020,2,1:6
14Effect of side deep placement of nitrogen on yield and nitrogen use efficiency of single season late japonica rice显示文摘Side deep placement of nitrogen plays an important role in improving rice yield and nitrogen use efficiency.Few studies have examined the effects of reducing the times of nitrogen(RTN)application and reducing the nitrogen rate(RNR)of application on rice yield and nitrogen use efficiency under side deep placement of nitrogen in paddy fields.Therefore,a field experiment of RNT and RNR treatments was conducted with nine fertilization modes during the 2018–2019 rice growing seasons in a rice–wheat cropping system of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River,China.Rice yield and nitrogen use efficiency were investigated under side deep placement of nitrogen.We found that under the same nitrogen application rate,the yield of RTN3 increased by 9.64 and 10.18%in rice varieties NJ9108 and NJ5718,respectively,compared with the farmers’fertilizer practices(FFP).The nitrogen accumulation of RTN3 was the highest at heading stage,at 11.30 t ha^(–1)across 2018 and 2019.Under the same nitrogen application rate,the N agronomic use efficiency(NAE),N physiological efficiency(NPE)and N recovery efficiency(NRE)of RTN3 were 8.1–21.28%,8.51–41.76%and 0.28–14.52%higher than those of the other fertilization modes,respectively.RNR led to decreases in SPAD value,leaf area index(LAI),dry matter accumulation,nitrogen accumulation,and nitrogen use efficiency.These results suggest that RTN3 increased rice yield and nitrogen use efficiency under the side deep placement of nitrogen,and RNR1 could achieve the goals of saving cost and increasing resource use efficiency.Two fertilization modes RTN3 and RNR1 both could achieve the dual goals of increasing grain yield and resource use efficiency and thus are worth further application and investigation.ZHAO Can HUANG Heng QIAN Zi-hui JIANG Heng-xin LIU Guang-ming XU Ke HU Ya-jie DAI Qigen HUO Zhong-yang 2021Journal of Integrative Agriculture2021,20,6:5
15Microstructure and dry sliding wear behavior of laser clad AlCrNiSiTi multi-principal element alloy coatings显示文摘The approximately equimolar ratio AlCrNiSiTi multi-principal element alloy(MPEA) coatings were fabricated by laser cladding on Ti-6A1-4V(Ti64) alloy.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM),equipped with an energy-dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),and X-ray diffraction(XRD) were used to characterize the microstructure and composition.Investigations show that the coatings consist of(Ti,Cr)_5Si_3 and NiAl phases,formed by in situ reaction.The phase composition is initially explicated according to obtainable binary and ternary phase diagrams,and the formation Gibbs energy of Ti_5Si_3,V_5Si_3 and Cr_5Si_3.Dry sliding reciprocating friction and wear tests of the AlCrNiSiTi coating and Ti64 alloy substrate without coating were evaluated.A surface mapping profiler was used to evaluate the wear volume.The worn surface was characterized by SEM-EDS.The hardness and wear resistance of the AlCrNiSiTi coating are well compared with that of the basal material(Ti64).The main wear mechanism of the AlCrNiSiTi coating is slightly adhesive transfer from GCr15 counterpart,and a mixed layer composed of transferred materials and oxide is formed.Can Huang Yi-Zhou Tang Yong-Zhong Zhang An-Ping Dong Jian Tu Lin-Jiang Chai Zhi-Ming Zhou 2017Rare Metals2017,36,7:5

17Assessment of nomadic rice-duck complex ecosystem on energy and economy显示文摘Introduction:Modern intensive rice production has brought a large amount of environmental pollution and do not guarantee the safety of rice quality.Thus,to improve the farmer's rice production model to reduce agro-chemicals is of great importance to decrease pollution and to guarantee the security of food quality.Here,our experiments illustrated that nomadic rice-duck complex ecosystem(RD)could reduce energy input and increase both energy output and the values of the product safety index based on energy(PSI).Results:According to the results of our experiments,RD and rice monoculture production system(RM)were-0.6 and-0.78,respectively,which indicated that the safety potential of products in RD was higher than that of RM.Protein yield based on RD was significantly higher than that of RM.The output/input,gross income,and net income of RD were 15.26%,39.51%,and 44.80%,respectively,higher than that of RM;the data suggest that the economic benefits of RD were greater than that of RM.Conclusions:Consequently,as an intermediate-type technology,RD could become a feasible alternative that could reduce agro-chemical application rate without decreasing rice yield and increasing labor intensity.Furthermore,as an inheritance and development of the Chinese farming culture,RD is a classic Chinese farming technology withstanding more than 700 years of tests.Huabin Zheng Huang Huang Diqin Li Xumeng Li Zhiqiang Fu Can Chen 2014Ecological Processes2014,3,1:5
18Microstructure and properties of laser direct deposited CuNi17Al3Fe1.5Cr alloy显示文摘Thin walls of a copper-base alloy with the nominal composition CuNi17Al3Fe1.5Cr were successfully prepared by laser direct deposition additive manufacturing. The microstructure, as revealed by optical and scanning electron microscopy, indicated that the deposited material was fully dense and with a dendritic microstructure. The dendrites are parallel to the build-up direction, which is also the heat con-duction direction during deposition. X-ray diffraction analysis results show that the deposited material is composed of a single phase and a copper-based solid solution. Some precipitate particles of metal silicides were observed in the interdendritic region by scanning electron mi-croscopy. The ultimate tensile strength along the laser scanning direction reaches 735 MPa. 19Quercetin attenuates the progression of monocrotaline-induced pulmonary hypertension in rats显示文摘Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a progressive disease associated with increased constriction and remodeling of the pulmonary vasculature.Quercetin is a natural flavonoid and has a variety of pharmacological effects including improvement of endothelial cell function.However,its pharmacological effects on pulmonary hypertension have been rarely reported.We sought to observe the protective effect of quercetin in rats with monocrotaline induced PAH.We divided 30 male Sprague-Dawley rats randomly into three groups with ten rats in each group:the monocrotaline group,the quercetin group and the control group.We found that,compared with the controls,the mean pulmonary artery pressure (mPAP) and the right ventricular hypertrophy index in the monocrotaline group were significantly higher (P < 0.01).Quercetin caused a significant reduction both in the mPAP and right ventricular hypertrophy index compared with the monocrotaline group (P < 0.01) while no difference was found between the quercetin group and the control group (P > 0.05).Monocrotaline induced a marked increase in the wall thickness (WT) in small and mid-sized pulmonary arteries compared with the controls (P < 0.01).Monocrotaline also induced a marked increase in the wall area (WA) in small [(56.38±6.65)% in monocrotaline vs.(19.80±4.63)% in control] and mid-sized [(43.71±5.38)% in monocrotaline vs.(14.24±3.66)% in control] pulmonary arteries (P < 0.01).Quercetin treatment markedly reduced monocrotaline induced increase in both WT and WA (P < 0.01),which,however,still remained significantly elevated compared with those of the controls (P < 0.01).Furthermore,compared with controls,proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) expression in the pulmonary artery tissues was markedly increased by monocrotaline [(45.59±1.27) in monocrotaline vs.(9.64±0.69) in controls],which was significantly attenuated by quercetin.Our animal experiment indicated that quercetin could have protective effects on monocrotaline-induced PAH.Hanhua Gao Can Chen Shi'an Huang Bo Li 2012The Journal of Biomedical Research2012,26,2:4
20AFAP1-AS1: a rising star among oncogenic long non-coding RNAs显示文摘Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)have become a hotspot in biomedical research.This interest reflects their extensive involvement in the regulation of the expression of other genes,and their influence on the occurrence and development of a variety of human diseases.Actin filament associated protein 1-Antisense RNA 1(AFAP1-AS1)is a recently discovered oncogenic lncRNA.It is highly expressed in a variety of solid tumors,and regulates the expression of downstream genes and signaling pathways through adsorption and competing microRNAs,or by the direct binding to other proteins.Ultimately,AFAP1-AS1 promotes proliferation,chemotherapy resistance,and resistance to apoptosis,maintains stemness,and enhances invasion and migration of tumor cells.This paper summarizes the research concerning AFAP1-AS1 in malignant tumors,including the clinical application prospects of AFAP1-AS1 as a potential molecular marker and therapeutic target of malignant tumors.We also discuss the limitations in the knowledge of AFAP1-AS1 and directions of further research.AFAP1-AS1 is expected to provide an example for studies of other lncRNA molecules.Fang Xiong Kunjie Zhu Su Deng Hongbin Huang Liting Yang Zhaojian Gong Lei Shi Yi He Yanyan Tang Qianjin Liao Jianjun Yu Xiaoling Li Yong Li Guiyuan Li Zhaoyang Zeng Wei Xiong Shanshan Zhang Can Guo 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,10:4
