| 3 | World’s first spaceflight on-orbit demonstration of a flexible solar array system based on shape memory polymer composites显示文摘With a 10%reversible compressive strain in more than 10 deformation cycles,the shape memory polymer composites(SMPCs)could be used for deployable structure and releasing mechanism.In this paper,without traditional electro-explosive devices or motors/controllers,the deployable SMPC flexible solar array system(SMPC-FSAS)is studied,developed,ground-based tested,and finally on-orbit validated.The epoxy-based SMPC is used for the rolling-out variable-stiffness beams as a structural frame as well as an actuator for the flexible blanket solar array.The releasing mechanism is primarily made of the cyanate-based SMPC,which has a high locking stiffness to withstand 50 g gravitational acceleration and a large unlocking displacement of 10 mm.The systematical mechanical and thermal qualification tests of the SMPC-FSAS flight hardware were performed,including sinusoidal sweeping vibration,shocking,acceleration,thermal equilibrium,thermal vacuum cycling,and thermal cycling test.The locking function of the SMPC releasing mechanisms was in normal when launching aboard the SJ20 Geostationary Satellite on 27 Dec.,2019.The SMPC-FSAS flight hardware successfully unlocked and deployed on 5 Jan.,2020 on geostationary orbit.The triggering signal of limit switches returned to ground at the 139 s upon heating,which indicated the successful unlocking function of SMPC releasing mechanisms.A pair of epoxy-based SMPC rolled variable-stiffness tubes,which clapped the flexible blanket solar array,slowly deployed and finally approached an approximate 100%shape recovery ratio within 60 s upon heating.The study and on-orbit successful validation of the SMPC-FSAS flight hardware could accelerate the related study and associated productions to be used for the next-generation releasing mechanisms as well as space deployable structures,such as new releasing mechanisms with low-shocking,testability and reusability,and ultra-large space deployable solar arrays. | LAN Xin LIU LiWu ZHANG FengHua LIU ZhengXian WANG LinLin LI QiFeng PENG Fan HAO SiDa DAI WenXu WAN Xue TANG Yong WANG Mian HAO YanYan YANG Yang YANG Cheng LIU YanJu LENG JinSong | 2020 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,8: | 7 |

| 10 | Curcumin ameliorates hippocampal neuron damage induced by human immunodeficiency virus-1显示文摘Our previous studies have shown that infection with the gp120 V3 loop can cause human immunodeficiency virus-1 associated neurocognitive disorders. Curcumin has been shown to improve these effects to some degree, but the precise mechanisms remain unknown. The present study analyzed the neuroprotective effect and mechanism of curcumin in relation to hippocampal neurons. Results showed that 1 nmol/L gp120 V3 loop suppressed the growth of synapses. After administration of 1 μmol/L curcumin, synaptic growth improved. Curcumin is neuroprotective against gp120 V3 loop-induced neuronal damage by inhibiting the activation of L-type calcium currents, relieving intracellular Ca2+ overload, promoting Bcl-2 expression, and inhibiting Bax activation. | 12 | A review of Behcet's disease from the perspectives of both Western and Chinese Medicine显示文摘Behcet's disease is a condition with a complicated and unclear etiology that comprises multi-systemic, chronic, inflammatory vasculitis. Behcet's disease can affect every tissue and organ in the body,and is characterized by recurrent oral and genital ulcers, ocular inflammation, skin lesions, and other manifestations. The incidence of Behcet's disease has a distinct regional specificity, and is most prevalent along the Silk Road, a route that stretched between the Mediterranean, Middle East and Far East.This article reviews the recent literature to evaluate the prevalence, clinical manifestations, pathogenesis and mechanism, and current treatments of Behcet's disease. Furthermore, the etiology of Behcet's disease will be evaluated from the aspect of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) syndrome differentiation. As Behcet's disease is complex and intractable, its treatment warrants further research.Traditionally, Behcet's disease is treated with Western Medicine(WM) via medications that act locally and systemically; this WM treatment protocol usually has a good effect, but relapse can occur after reducing the dosage. Thus, it may be ideal to treat Behcet's disease via a combination of WM and TCM.Recent studies have indicated that such a combination of Chinese and Western treatments has a better effect than either treatment alone. The aim of the present review is to describe the clinical features of Behcet's disease, and to outline its possible pathogenesis in terms of both TCM and WM. | 18 | Realizing the highly reversible Zn^(2+)and Na^(+) dual ions storage in high-crystallinity nickel hexacyanoferrate microcubes for aqueous zinc-ion batteries显示文摘Prussian blue analogues(PBAs)with the 3D open framework are regarded as promising cathode candidates for aqueous Zinc ion batteries(ZIBs).Among various PBAs,nickel hexacyanoferrate(NiHCF)has attracted considerable attention because of its high operating voltage and economic merit.However,the cyclability of NiHCF is unsatisfactory due to poor structural stability during Zn^(2+) ions insertion/deinsertion.Moreover,the ion storage mechanism of NiHCF in aqueous electrolytes has not been fully revealed yet.Herein,high-crystallinity NiHCF(HC-NiHCF)microcubes with improved structural stability and larger crystal plane spacing are synthesized.For the first time,highly reversible Zn2+ions and Na+ions co-insertion/extraction are achieved for the HC-NiHCF microcubes in mixed aqueous electrolyte,as evidenced by various observations including two separated discharge plateaus and sequential changes of Na 1s and Zn 2p signals in ex-situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).As a result,a high specific capacity of 73.9 mAh g^(−1) is obtained for the HC-NiHCF microcubes at 0.1 A g−1,combined with enhanced cycle stability(75%vs.16.4%)over 1000 cycles at 2 A g^(−1).The reversible Zn^(2+) ions and Na+ions co-insertion in HC-NiHCF microcubes reveals a new ion storage mechanism of Ni-based PBAs in aqueous electrolytes. | Kexuan Wang Zhu Xu Heng Li Huibo Wang Mingzheng Ge Jilei Liu Shengwen Li Zekun Hu Mengyu Zhu Yanyan Zhang Yuxin Tang Shi Chen | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,33: | 1 |
