3MoS_(2) reinforced PEEK composite for improved aqueous boundary lubrication显示文摘Polyether-etherketone(PEEK)is a corrosion-resistant material that has been widely used in aqueous lubrication.However,its anti-wear performance must be improved for its application in the industry.In this study,to improve the anti-wear performance of PEEK for aqueous boundary lubrication,PEEK/MoS_(2)composites were prepared by ball-milling and spark plasma sintering processes.A competitive MoS_(2)mechanism between the low shear strength property and the role of promoting wear debris generation influences the anti-wear performance of PEEK/MoS_(2)composites.Experiments demonstrated that the coefficients of friction(COF)and wear rate of PEEK composite with 0.25 wt%MoS_(2)were significantly reduced 68%and 94%,respectively.Furthermore,this was the first time that a PEEK composite could achieve a COF of less than 0.05 in aqueous boundary lubrication.Its anti-wear performance was verified to be better than that of PEEK/carbon fiber(CF)and Thordon composites.The PEEK/MoS_(2)composite may be a potential material for underwater equipment because of its outstanding anti-wear performance in aqueous boundary lubrication.Xin HOU Pengpeng BAI Jingyang LI Yuanzhe LI Hui CAO Xiangli WEN Yonggang MENG Liran MA Yu TIAN 2023Friction2023,11,9:2
4Summary of Laurasiatheria(Mammalia)Phylogeny显示文摘Laurasiatheria is one of the richest and most diverse superorders of placental mammals.Because this group had a rapid evolutionary radiation,the phylogenetic relationships among the six orders of Laurasiatheria remain a subject of heated debate and several issues related to its phylogeny remain open.Reconstructing the true phylogenetic relationships of Laurasiatheria is a significant case study in evolutionary biology due to the diversity of this suborder and such research will have significant implications for biodiversity conservation.We review the higher-level(inter-ordinal)phylogenies of Laurasiatheria based on previous cytogenetic,morphological and molecular data,and discuss the controversies of its phylogenetic relationship.This review aims to outline future researches on Laurasiatheria phylogeny and adaptive evolution.Jingyang HU Yaping ZHANG Li YU 2012Zoological Research2012,33,S03:1
5Comparative study of gut microbiota from captive and confiscatedrescued wild pangolins显示文摘Pangolins are among the most critically endangered animals due to widespread poaching and worldwide trafficking. Captive breeding is considered to be one way to protect them and increase the sizes of their populations. However, comparative studies of captive and wild pangolins in the context of gut microbiota are rare. Here, the gut microbiome of captive and confiscated-rescued wild pangolins is compared, and the effects of different periods of captivity and captivity with and without antibiotic treatment are considered.We show that different diets and periods of captivity, as well as the application of antibiotic therapy, can alter gut community composition and abundance in pangolins. Compared to wild pangolins, captive pangolins have an increased capacity for chitin and cellulose/hemicellulose degradation, fatty acid metabolism, and short-chain fatty acid synthesis, but a reduced ability to metabolize exogenous substances. In addition to increasing the ability of the gut microbiota to metabolize nutrients in captivity, captive breeding imposes some risks for survival by resulting in a greater abundance of antibiotic resistance genes and virulence factors in captive pangolins than in wild pangolins. 6Exploring the catalytic function and active sites of a novel C-glycosyltransferase from Anemarrhena asphodeloides显示文摘Anemarrhena asphodeloides is an immensely popular medicinal herb in China,which contains an abundant of mangiferin.As an important bioactive xanthone C-glycoside,mangiferin possesses a variety of pharmacological activities and is derived from the cyclization reaction of a benzophenone C-glycoside(maclurin).Biosyntheti-cally,C-glycosyltransferases are critical for the formation of benzophenone C-glycosides.However,the benzo-phenone C-glycosyltransferases from Anemarrhena asphodeloides have not been discovered.Herein,a promiscuous C-glycosyltransferase(AaCGT)was identified from Anemarrhena asphodeloides.It was able to catalyze efficiently mono-C-glycosylation of benzophenone,together with di-C-glycosylation of dihydrochalcone.It also exhibited the weak O-glycosylation or potent S-glycosylation capacities toward 12 other types of flavonoid scaffolds and a simple aromatic compound with–SH group.Homology modeling and mutagenesis experiments revealed that the glycosylation reaction of AaCGT was initiated by the conserved residue H23 as the catalytic base.Three critical residues H356,W359 and D380 were involved in the recognition of sugar donor through hydrogen-bonding interactions.In particular,the double mutant of F94W/L378M led to an unexpected enzy-matic conversion of mono-C-to di-C-glycosylation.This study highlights the important value of AaCGT as a potential biocatalyst for efficiently synthesizing high-value C-glycosides.Jia Huang Yaru She Jingyang Yue Yidu Chen Yu Li Jing Li Yonger Hu Deying Yang Jiabo Chen Lu Yang Zhongqiu Liu Ruibo Wu Pengfei Jin Lixin Duan 2022Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2022,7,1:1
7Intermolecular and surface forces in atomic-scale manufacturing显示文摘Atomic and close-to-atomic scale manufacturing(ACSM)aims to provide techniques for manufacturing in various fields,such as circuit manufacturing,high energy physics equipment,and medical devices and materials.The realization of atomic scale material manipulation depending on the theoretical system of classical mechanics faces great challenges.Understanding and using intermolecular and surface forces are the basis for better designing of ACSM.Transformation of atoms based on scanning tunneling microscopy or atomic force microscopy(AFM)is an essential process to regulate intermolecular interactions.Self-assemble process is a thermodynamic process involving complex intermolecular forces.The competition of these interaction determines structure assembly and packing geometry.For typical nanomachining processes including AFM nanomachining and chemical mechanical polishing,the coupling of chemistry and stress(tribochemistry)assists in the removal of surface atoms.Furthermore,based on the principle of triboelectrochemistry,we expect a further reduction of the potential barrier,and a potential application in high-efficiency atoms removal and fabricating functional coating.Future fundamental research is proposed for achieving high-efficiency and high-accuracy manufacturing with the aiding of external field.This review highlights the significant contribution of intermolecular and surface forces to ACSM,and may accelerate its progress in the in-depth investigation of fundamentals.Xin Hou Jingyang Li Yuanzhe Li Yu Tian 2022International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2022,4,2:1
8Thermal Biology of Cold-climate Distributed Heilongjiang Grass Lizard,Takydromus amurensis显示文摘Thermal biology traits reflect thermal adaptations to an environment and can be used to infer responses to climate warming in animal species.Within a widespread genus or species,assessing the latitudinal or altitudinal gradient of thermal physiological traits is essential to reveal thermal adaptations and determine future vulnerability to climate warming geographically.We determined the thermal biology traits of a cold-climate distributed lizard,Takydromus amurensis,and integrated published thermal biology traits within the genus Takydromus to reveal a preliminary geographical pattern in thermal adaptation.The mean selected body temperature(cloaca temperature;T_(sel)),critical thermal maximum(CT_(max)),critical thermal minimum(CT_(min)),and optimal temperature for locomotion(i.e.,sprint speed;T_(opt)) of T.amurensis were 32.6,45.1,3.1,and 33.4℃,respectively.The resting metabolic rates of T.amurensis were po sitively related to temperature from 18℃ to 38℃.We compared the traits of tropical T.sexlineatus,subtropical T.septentrionalis,and T.wolteri with T.amurensis and found that the CT_(max) and thermal tolerance range(the difference between CT_(max) and CT_(min);TTR) increased toward high latitudes,whereas CT_(min) increased toward low latitudes in these four Takydromus lizards.According to this preliminary pattern,we speculate the species at medium and low latitudes would be more vulnerable to extreme heat events caused by ongoing climate warming.We highlight the importance of integrating thermal biology traits along geographical clues,and its potential contribution to evaluate the vulnerabilities of species in the context of climate warming.Xin HAO Shiang TAO Yu MENG Jingyang LIU Luoxin CUI Wanli LIU Baojun SUN Peng LIU Wenge ZHAO 2020Asian Herpetological Research2020,11,4:0
9Influence of Tide Models on the Use of Altimetry Data to Research Sea Level Anomaly显示文摘A tide model (named DN1.0), which contains 12 principal constituents over China seas and the Northwest Pacific is estimated by along-track harmonic analysis with TOPEX/Poseidon altimetry data taken from 1993 to 2002. CSR3.0, FES95.2 and DN1.0 are used respectively to detide the data for the time series of sea level anomaly (SLA) in the Yellow Sea, East China Sea, South China Sea and Northwest Pacific. 10Enhancing maize's nitrogen-fixing potential through ZmSBT3, a gene suppressing mucilage secretion∞显示文摘Maize(Zea mays)requires substantial amounts of nitrogen,posing a challenge for its cultivation.Recent work discovered that some ancient Mexican maize landraces harbored diazotrophic bacteria in mucilage secreted by their aerial roots.To see if this trait is retained in modern maize,we conducted a field study of aerial root mucilage(ARM)in 258 inbred lines.We observed that ARM secretion is common in modern maize,but the amount significantly varies,and only a few lines have retained the nitrogen‐fixing traits found in ancient landraces.The mucilage of the high‐ARM inbred line HN5‐724 had high nitrogen‐fixing enzyme activity and abundant diazotrophic bacteria.Our genome‐wide association study identified 17 candidate genes associated with ARM across three environments.Knockouts of one candidate gene,the subtilase family gene ZmSBT3,confirmed that it negatively regulates ARM secretion.Notably,the ZmSBT3 knockout lines had increased biomass and total nitrogen accumulation under nitrogen‐free culture conditions.High ARM was associated with three ZmSBT3 haplotypes that were gradually lost during maize domestication,being retained in only a few modern inbred lines such as HN5‐724.In summary,our results identify ZmSBT3 as a potential tool for enhancing ARM,and thus nitrogen fixation,in maize.Jingyang Gao Peijiang Feng Jingli Zhang Chaopei Dong Zhao Wang Mingxiang Chen Zhongliang Yu Bowen Zhao Xin Hou Huijuan Wang Zhaokun Wu Razia Sultana Jemim Haidong Yu Doudou Sun Pei Jing Jiafa Chen Weibin Song Xuecai Zhang Zijian Zhou Jianyu Wu 2023Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,12:0
11Ethanol production from sweet sorghum residual显示文摘In this work,the ethanol production from sweet sorghum residue was studied.Sweet sorghum res-idue was hydrolyzed with phosphoric acid under mild conditions.The liquid hydrolysate was fermented by Pachysolen tannophilus,and the hydrolysis residue was fermented by the simultaneous saccharification and fer-mentation(SSF)using Saecharomyces cerevisiae with cel-lulase(60 FPU/g dry materials).Orthogonal experiments were carried out to investigate the effects of main reaction condition factors,such as temperature,acid concentra-tion,time and dry-matter content,on the reducing sugar yield.The results show that the optimal reaction condi-tions should be 120℃,80 g/L,80 min and 10%,respect-ively.Under these conditions,0.3024 g reducing sugar/g dry material was obtained.The liquid hydrolysate was then fermented by P.tannophilus with the highest ethanol concentration of 14.5 g/L.At a water-insoluble solid con-centration of 5%,5.4 g/L ethanol was obtained after 12 h of SSF.The total ethanol yield was 0.147 g/g dry material,which would be beneficial for the application of ethanol production from sweet sorghum residue.Jingyang BAN Jianliang YU Xu ZHANG Tianwei TAN 2008Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2008,2,4:0

13Amplification Method of Lung Nodule Data Based on DCGAN Generation Algorithm显示文摘Early diagnosis of lung cancer can effectively reduce the mortality of patients.Doctors use low-dose spiral CT to detect lung nodules,which is timeconsuming and prone to omissions.Deep learning has achieved good results in the field of medical image sub-processing,which can reduce the pressure of doctors to a certain extent.However,in the actual lung CT images,the images containing lung nodules account for less than 1%of the total images.The lack of data increases the difficulty of detecting lung nodules by using deep learning methods.This paper proposes an amplification method using deep convolutional anti-generation network(DCGAN)to generate lung nodule data.Compared with different amplification methods,and the effectiveness of this method is confirmed.Experiments can prove that the use of DCGAN to generate data can better solve the problems of high false positive rate and low sensitivity of lung nodule classification than the graphical data amplification mode.Compared with the existing methods,this experimental method greatly improves the accuracy,sensitivity and F1 score of lung nodule detection,and achieves good results of 99.98%,99.15%and 99.55%,respectively.Minghao Yu Lei Cai Liwei Gao Jingyang Gao 2020国际计算机前沿大会会议论文集2020,,1:0

15Reconstructing the phytogeny of new world monkeys(platyrrhini):evidence from multiple non-coding loci显示文摘Among mammalian phylogenies,those characterized by rapid radiations are particularly problematic.The New World monkeys(NWMs,Platyrrhini)comprise 3 families and 7 subfamilies,which radiated within a relatively short time period.Accordingly,their phylogenetic relationships are still largely disputed.In the present study,56 nuclear non-coding loci,including 33 introns(INs)and 23 intergenic regions(IGs),from 20 NWM individuals representing 18 species were used to investigate phylogenetic relationships among families and subfamilies.Of the 56 loci,43 have not been used in previous NWM phylogenetics.We applied concatenation and coalescence tree-inference methods,and a recently proposed question-specific approach to address NWM phylogeny.Our results indicate incongruence between concatenation and coalescence methods for the IN and IG datasets.However,a consensus was reached with a single tree topology from all analyses of combined INs and IGs as well as all analyses of question-specific loci using both concatenation and coalescence methods,albeit with varying degrees of statistical support.In detail,our results indicated the sister-group relationships between the families Atelidae and Pitheciidae,and between the subfamilies Aotinae and Callithrichinae among Cebidae.Our study provides insights into the disputed phylogenetic relationships among NWM families and subfamilies from the perspective of multiple non-coding loci and various tree-inference approaches.However,the present phylogenetic framework needs further evaluation by adding more independent sequence data and a deeper taxonomic sampling.Overall,our work has important implications for phylogenetic studies dealing with rapid radiations.Xiaoping WANG Burton K.LIM Nelson TING Jingyang HU Yunpeng LIANG Christian ROOS Li YU 2019Current Zoology2019,65,5:0

17Single-cell RNA sequencing reveals the dynamics of hepatic non-parenchymal cells in autoprotection against acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity显示文摘Gaining a better understanding of autoprotection against drug-induced liver injury(DILI)may provide new strategies for its prevention and therapy.However,little is known about the underlying mechanisms of this phenomenon.We used single-cell RNA sequencing to characterize the dynamics and functions of hepatic non-parenchymal cells(NPCs)in autoprotection against DILI,using acetaminophen(APAP)as a model drug.Autoprotection was modeled through pretreatment with a mildly hepatotoxic dose of APAP in mice,followed by a higher dose in a secondary challenge.NPC subsets and dynamic changes were identified in the APAP(hepatotoxicity-sensitive)and APAP-resistant(hepatotoxicity-resistant)groups.A chemokine(C-C motif)ligand 2^(+)endothelial cell subset almost disappeared in the APAP-resistant group,and an R-spondin 3^(+)endothelial cell subset promoted hepatocyte proliferation and played an important role in APAP autoprotection.Moreover,the dendritic cell subset DC-3 may protect the liver from APAP hepatotoxicity by inducing low reactivity and suppressing the autoimmune response and occurrence of inflammation.DC-3 cells also promoted angiogenesis through crosstalk with endothelial cells via vascular endothelial growth factor-associated ligand-receptor pairs and facilitated liver tissue repair in the APAP-resistant group.In addition,the natural killer cell subsets NK-3 and NK-4 and the Sca-1^(-)CD62L^(+)natural killer T cell subset may promote autoprotection through interferon-γ-dependent pathways.Furthermore,macrophage and neutrophil subpopulations with anti-inflammatory phenotypes promoted tolerance to APAP hepatotoxicity.Overall,this study reveals the dynamics of NPCs in the resistance to APAP hepatotoxicity and provides novel insights into the mechanism of autoprotection against DILI at a high resolution.Lingqi Yu Jun Yan Yingqi Zhan Anyao Li Lidan Zhu Jingyang Qian Fanfan Zhou Xiaoyan Lu Xiaohui Fan 2023Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2023,13,8:0

19Functional biochar for efficient residue treatment of sulfonylurea herbicides by weak molecular interaction显示文摘Pesticide residues have seriously damaged the natural environment and social security.Here,we prepared the efficient functional biochar(FB)for sulfonylurea herbicides from cotton straw cellulose(CSC)by hydrothermal carbonization with the methacrylic acid.The molecular simulation of FB indicated thatπ-πelectron-donor-acceptor(EDA)interaction and formation of charge-assisted H-bond were both the main factors for effective adsorption process.The adsorption process can match the pseudo-second-order kinetic equation and Freundlich model.The whole process is physical adsorption,spontaneous and rapid,and can quickly reach equilibrium.The FB with carbon-oxygen functional groups and aromatic conjugated structures can remove pesticides in water very quickly(within 30 s),with effective adsorption over 95%of Sulfonylurea herbicides(SUHs).Therefore,functional FB might be an effective way to get excellent absorbent for pesticide treatment.Yunpeng Zhang Bingjie Zhang Jingyang Yu Meng Yuan Jiawen Ji Huizhe Lu Yongqiang Ma Yunlong Guo 2021Biochar2021,3,4:0
