| 2 | Enhancing the antihepatitis B virus immune response by adefovir dipivoxil and entecavir therapies显示文摘Chronicity of hepatitis B(CHB)infection is characterized by a weak immune response to the virus.Entecavir(ETV)and adefovir dipivoxil(ADV)are effective in suppressing hepatitis B virus(HBV)replication.However,the underlying immune mechanism in the antiviral response of patients treated with nucleoside or nucleotide analogs is not clearly understood.In this study,regulatory T cells(Tregs)and intracellular cytokines,including IL-2,interferon(IFN)-γ,tumor-necrosis factor(TNF)-α and IL-4,were measured prior to and at 12,24,36 and 48 weeks after treatment with ETV or ADV.The cytokines were increased from 24 to 48 weeks after treatment.Higher levels of Th1 cytokines were observed with ETV(n=29)versus ADV(n=28)treatment.By contrast,the numbers of Tregs in both groups were decreased.The altered cytokine profile and cellular component was accompanied by a decrease in HBV DNA levels in both groups,which may contribute to their therapeutic effect in CHB infection.Our findings suggest that the antiviral effect of the drugs may be attributed not only to their direct effect on virus suppression but also to their immunoregulatory capabilities. | Yanfang Jiang Wanyu Li Lei Yu Jingjing Liu Guijie Xin Hongqing Yan Pinghui Sun Hong Zhang Damo Xu Junqi Niu | 2011 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2011,8,1: | 16 |
| 3 | Combined and interactive effects of interference fit and preloads on composite joints显示文摘The combined and interactive effects of the bolt-hole fit conditions and the preloads of the fasteners on the load carrying capacity of single-lap composite-to-titanium bolted joints have been investigated both experimentally and numerically. Quasi-static tests of the hybrid joints with different fit conditions are implemented, and a three dimensional finite element progressive failure analysis model is proposed to predict the influences of the bolt-hole fit conditions and fastener's preloads on the mechanical behaviors of the joints. Based on the experimental validated simulation method, a multi-factor, mixed levels orthogonal design table and the analysis of variance method are used to arrange the simulation conditions and to further study the interactive effects of preloads and fit conditions. Through the analysis of the results, for the researched double bolt, single-lap composite-titanium joints, it is found that: the effects of both the interference fit and the preloads change from positive into negative mode with the increase of the interference fit values or preload values; appropriate bolt-hole fit conditions and preloads can improve the bolt-hole contact conditions of the loaded joints, and then retard the fiber failures around the fastener holes, and increase the load carrying capacity of the joints eventually; the interactive effect of the bolt-hole interference fit conditions and preloads cannot be ignored and the parameters need to be considered together and synthetically as the joints are being optimized. | Liu Longquan Zhang Junqi Chen Kunkun Wang Hai | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2014,27,3: | 13 |

| 5 | Efficient aerobic oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural to 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid on Ru/C catalysts显示文摘2,5-Furandicarboxylic(FDCA) is a potential substitute for petroleum-derived terephthalic acid, and aerobic oxidation of5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF) provides an efficient route to synthesis of FDCA. On an activated carbon supported ruthenium(Ru/C) catalyst(with 5 wt% Ru loading), HMF was readily oxidized to FDCA in a high yield of 97.3% at 383 K and 1.0 MPa O_2 in the presence of Mg(OH)_2 as base additive. Ru/C was superior to Pt/C and Pd/C and also other supported Ru catalysts with similar sizes of metal nanoparticles(1–2 nm). The Ru/C catalysts were stable and recyclable, and their efficiency in the formation of FDCA increased with Ru loadings examined in the range of 0.5 wt%–5.0 wt%. Based on the kinetic studies including the effects of reaction time, reaction temperature, O_2 pressure, on the oxidation of HMF to FDCA on Ru/C, it was confirmed that the oxidation of HMF to FDCA proceeds involving the primary oxidation of HMF to 2,5-diformylfuran(DFF) intermediate, and its sequential oxidation to 5-formyl-2-furancarboxylic acid(FFCA) and ultimately to FDCA, in which the oxidation of FFCA to FDCA is the rate-determining step and dictates the overall formation rate of FDCA. | 7 | Investigate of in situ sludge reduction in sequencing batch biofilm reactor:Performances,mechanisms and comparison of different carriers显示文摘Biofilm is an effective simultaneous denitrification and in situ sludge reduction system,and the characteristics of different biofilm carrier have important implications for biofilm growth and in situ sludge reduction.In this study,the performance and mechanism of in situ sludge reduction were compared between FSC-SBBR and SC-SBBR with constructed by composite floating spherical carriers(FSC)and multi-faceted polyethylene suspension carriers(SC),respectively.The variation of EPS concentration indicated that the biofilm formation of FSC was faster than SC.Compared with SCSBBR,the FSC-SBBR yielded 0.16 g MLSS/g COD,almost 27.27%less sludge.The average removal rates of COD and NH_(4)^(+)-N were 93.39% and 96.66%,respectively,which were 5.21% and 1.43% higher than the average removal rate of SC-SBBR.Investigation of the mechanisms of sludge reduction revealed that,energy uncoupling metabolism and sludge decay were the main factors for sludge reduction inducing 43.13%and 49.65%less sludge,respectively,in FSC-SBBR.EEM fluorescence spectroscopy and SUVA analysis showed that the hydrolytic capacity of biofilm attached in FSC was stronger than those of SC,and the hydrolysis of EPS released more DOM contributed to lysis-cryptic growth metabolism.In additional,Bacteroidetes and Mizugakiibacter associated with sludge reduction were the dominant phylum and genus in FCS-SBBR.Thus,the effect of simultaneous in situ sludge reduction and pollutant removal in FSC-SBBR was better. | Yonglei Wang Baozhen Liu Kefeng Zhang Yongjian Liu Xuexin Xu Junqi Jia | 2018 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2018,12,5: | 7 |

The study particularly focused on the influence of the dosage of the oxidant, pH and the initial concentration of organic compounds on the degradation effectiveness.When the dosage of oxidant was 4 wt% and the pH was 7, the maximum degradation rates of 74.83% chlorobenzene, 70.32% aniline and 37.69% benzene were achieved. | 15 | The ANIP1-OsWRKY62 module regulates both basal defense and Pi9-mediated immunity against Magnaporthe oryzae in rice显示文摘During effector-triggered immunity(ETI)against the devastating rice blast pathogen Magnaporthe oryzae,Pi9 functions as an intracellular resistance protein sensing the pathogen-secreted effector AvrPi9 in rice.Importantly,the underlying recognition mechanism(s)between Pi9 and AvrPi9 remains elusive.In this study,We identified a rice ubiquitin-like domain-containing protein(UDP),AVRPI9-INTERACTING PROTEIN 1(ANP1),which is directly targeted by AvrPi9 and also binds to Pi9 in plants.Phenotypic analysis of anip1 mu-tants and plants overexpressing ANIP1 revealed that ANIP1 negatively modulates rice basal defense against M.oryzae.ANiP1 undergoes 26S proteasome-mediated degradation,which can be blocked by both AvrPi9 and Pi9.Moreover,ANIP1 physically associates with the rice WRKY transcription factor OsWRKY62,which also interacts with AvrPi9 and Pi9 in plants.In the absence of Pi9,ANIP1 negatively regulates OsWRKY62 abundance,which can be promoted by AvrPi9.Accordingly,knocking out of OsWRKY62 in a non-Pi9 back-ground decreased immunity against M.oryzae.However,we also observed that OsWRKY62 plays negative roles in defense against a compatible M.oryzae strain in Pi9-harboring rice.Pi9 binds to ANiP1 and OsWRKY62 to form a complex,which may help to keep Pi9 in an inactive state and weaken rice immunity.Furthermore,using competitive binding assays,we showed that AvrPi9 promotes Pi9 dissociation from ANiP1,which could be an important step toward ETI activation.Taken together,our results reveal an immune strategy whereby a UDP-WRKY module,targeted by a fungal effector,modulates rice immunity in distinct ways in the presence or absence of the corresponding resistance protein. | Xuetao Shi Yehui Xiong Kai Zhang Yinshan Zhang Junqi Zhang Lili Zhang Yutao Xiao Guo-Liang Wang Wende Liu | 2023 | Molecular Plant2023,16,4: | 3 |

| 17 | 青海河湟谷地胃癌病理特征及其变化趋势分析(英文)显示文摘Objective: The aim of our study was to discuss changes in the clinicopathological characteristics of gastric cancer in Hehuang Valley of China in recent 10 years. Methods: A retrospective case-control study was performed on 2379 newly-diagnosed gastric cancer patients. All of them came from Hehuang Valley. The patients were divided into two groups [recent 5 years(R5Y) and late 5 years(L5Y)] from February 2003 to February 2013, and the clinicopathological data were surveyed retrospectively. Results: The constituent ratio of upper 1/3 gastric cancer in R5Y and L5Y was 33.5% and 20.7%, respectively, and it showed a significant difference between the two groups(χ2 = 21.28, P = 0.00). The constituent ratio of squamous carcinoma/adenosquamous carcinoma was 2.7% and 1.6%, respectively, and it also showed a significant difference between two groups(χ2 = 50.91, P = 0.00). The constituent ratio of moderately-poorly differentiated/poorly differentiated gastric carcinoma was 84.2% and 50.2%, respectively, and it showed statistically significant difference(χ2 = 30.28, P = 0.00). The detection rate of early gastric cancer(EGC) was 1.47%(35/2379). The constituent ratio of the types of Borrmann II and Borrmann IV of advanced gastric cancer(AGC) among 2379 cases was 47.6% and 40.8%, respectively, and that still showed statistically significant difference(χ2 = 18.80, P = 0.00). The constituent ratio of diffuse-type of gastric cancer in R5Y and L5Y was 36.2% and 30.8%, respectively, even there was a significant difference(χ2 = 7.49, P = 0.01). Furthermore, there were also significant differences in regional lymph nodes metastasis, perineural infiltration and vascular invasion(P < 0.05). The positive detection rate of HER2, ER and PR was 14.88%, 17.23% and 15.93%, respectively. The constituent ratio of HP in two groups was 43.8% and 36.2% respectively, and it also showed a significant difference(χ2 = 13.51, P = 0.00). Conclusion: The pathogenic sites in gastric cancer change to the upper stomach in Hehuang Valley in recent 10 years, and the detection rate of squamous carcinoma/adenosquamous carcinoma reveals a sharp rise. Borrmann III is still one of the main types of advanced gastric cancer, but the detection rates of Borrmann II and IV are increasing. The main type of gastric cancer is the intestinaltype, but the ratio of diffuse-type is also increasing in recent 10 years. The HP detection rate is 40.65%(967/2379), and it has a slight rise in recent 10 years. The detection rate of poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma is increasing despite the fact that the moderately/moderately-poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma is the main histologic types. High detection rates of lymph nodes metastasis, perineural infiltration and vascular invasion indicate poor prognosis in patients with gastric cancer. | 20 | Probing deactivation by coking in catalyst pellets for dry reforming of methane using a pore network model显示文摘Dry reforming of methane(DRM) is an attractive technology for utilizing the greenhouse gases(CO_(2) and CH_(4)) to produce syngas. However, the catalyst pellets for DRM are heavily plagued by deactivation by coking, which prevents this technology from commercialization. In this work, a pore network model is developed to probe the catalyst deactivation by coking in a Ni/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst pellet for DRM. The reaction conditions can significantly change the coking rate and then affect the catalyst deactivation. The catalyst lifetime is higher under lower temperature, pressure, and CH_(4)/CO_(2) molar ratio, but the maximum coke content in a catalyst pellet is independent of these reaction conditions. The catalyst pellet with larger pore diameter, narrower pore size distribution and higher pore connectivity is more robust against catalyst deactivation by coking, as the pores in this pellet are more difficult to be plugged or inaccessible.The maximum coke content is also higher for narrower pore size distribution and higher pore connectivity, as the number of inaccessible pores is lower. Besides, the catalyst pellet radius only slightly affects the coke content, although the diffusion limitation increases with the pellet radius.
