| 2 | A huge oceanic-type UHP metamorphic belt in southwestern Tianshan, China: Peak metamorphic age and P-T path显示文摘Recent progress in the study of the UHP metamorphic belt in southwestern Tianshan,China,is summarized in this paper.This about 80-km-long and over 10-km-wide UHP belt has been recognized by the discovery of coesite,coesite pseudomorphs and other UHP minerals.It is the largest oceanic-type UHP metamorphic belt reported so far.It has formed due to northward subduction of the Tianshan Paleo-Ocean.U-Pb dating of metamorphic rims of zircons from a coesite-bearing garnet-phengite schist yields a peak UHP metamorphic ages of 320±3.7 Ma.Combined with ages of 233–226 Ma obtained from rims of zircons from retrograded eclogites,a long retrograde metamorphic evolution(>70 Ma)has been revealed.According to phase equilibria modeling,the P-T paths of both coesite-bearing eclogites and garnet-phengite schists are characterized by thermal relaxation,i.e.,the metamorphic temperature peak lags behind the pressure peak,indicating that the UHP rocks experienced slow and long heating and decompression during exhumation in the subduction channel.On the basis of the field observation that a small amount of eclogite lenses is wrapped in large volumes of metapelites,and the similar P-T paths of both rock types,we propose that the exhumation of the UHP eclogites from southwestern Tianshan,China,may have resulted from the exhumation of large volumes of low-density metapelites,which carried the denser eclogites to the Earth’s surface. | ZHANG LiFei DU JinXue Lü Zeng YANG Xin GOU LongLong XIA Bin CHEN ZhenYu WEI ChunJing SONG ShuGuang | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,35: | 19 |
| 3 | Efficient production of ethyl levulinate from cassava over Al2(SO4)3 catalyst in ethanol–water system显示文摘One-pot achievement of ethyl levulinate from cassava was conducted in ethanol-water system over several simple sulfate salt catalysts.Al_2(SO_4)_3 catalyst had the best performance in synthesizing ethyl levulinate comparing with those of a series of sulfate salts.The highest yields of ethyl levulinate was up to39.27%as well as 7.78%levulinate acid when cassava was catalyzed in ethanol medium by adding 10 wt%water.^(13)C and ~1H NMR spectroscopic investigations confirmed that isomerization of glucose to fructose over Al_2(SO_4)_3 catalyst is an important step in producing ethyl levulinate and levulinate acid.Due to aggregations of Al^(3+) under hydrothermal conditions,tiny amount of Al^(3+) were detected in filtrate at the percentage of 0.32%even if in absolute water.Bronsted and Lewis acids could improve the yield of ethyl levulinate and levulinate acid by synergistic effect.All results suggested that A1_2(SO_4)_3 was a simple and efficient catalyst for ethyl levulinate and levulinate acid production. | Jin Tan Qiying Liu Lungang Chen Tiejun Wang Longlong Ma Guanyi Chen | 2017 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2017,26,1: | 11 |

| 5 | Slope stability prediction using ensemble learning techniques: A case study in Yunyang County, Chongqing, China显示文摘Slope stability prediction plays a significant role in landslide disaster prevention and mitigation.This study develops an ensemble learning-based method to predict the slope stability by introducing the random forest(RF)and extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost).As an illustration,the proposed approach is applied to the stability prediction of 786 landslide cases in Yunyang County,Chongqing,China.For comparison,the predictive performance of RF,XGBoost,support vector machine(SVM),and logistic regression(LR)is systematically investigated based on the well-established confusion matrix,which contains the known indices of recall rate,precision,and accuracy.Furthermore,the feature importance of the 12 influencing variables is also explored.Results show that the accuracy of the XGBoost and RF for both the training and testing data is superior to that of SVM and LR,revealing the superiority of the ensemble learning models(i.e.XGBoost and RF)in the slope stability prediction of Yunyang County.Among the 12 influencing factors,the profile shape is the most important one.The proposed ensemble learning-based method offers a promising way to rationally capture the slope status.It can be extended to the prediction of slope stability of other landslide-prone areas of interest. | Wengang Zhang Hongrui Li Liang Han Longlong Chen Lin Wang | 2022 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2022,14,4: | 4 |
| 6 | Sonodynamic therapy with immune modulatable two-dimensional coordination nanosheets for enhanced anti-tumor immunotherapy显示文摘Ultrasound with deep penetration depth and high security could be adopted in sonodynamic therapy(SDT)by activating sonosensitizers to generate cytotoxic reactive oxygen species(ROS).Herein,two-dimensional(2D)coordination nanosheets composed of Zn^(2+)and Tetrakis(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin(TCPP)are fabricated.While exhibiting greatly enhanced ultrasoundtriggered ROS generation useful for noninvasive SDT,such Zn-TCPP 2D nanosheets show high loading capacity of oligodeoxynudeotides such as cytosine—phosphorothioate-guanine(CpG),which is a potent toll like receptor 9(TLR9)agonist useful in activating immune responses.Highly effective SD T of primary tumors could release tumor-associated antigens,which working together with Zn-TCPP/CpG adjuvant nanosheets could function like whole-tumor-cell vaccines and trigger tumor-specific immune responses.Interestingly,ultrasound itself could strengthen anti-tumor immune responses by improving the tumor-infiltration of T cells and limiting regulatory T cells in the tumor microenvironment.Thus,SDT using Zn-TCPP/CpG nanosheets after destruction of primary tumors could induce potent antitumor immune responses to inhibit distant abscopal tumors without direct SD T treatment.Moreover,SDT with Zn-TCPP/CpG could trigger strong immunological memory effects to inhibit cancer recurrence after elimination of primary tumors.Therefore,the 2D coordination nanosheet may be a promising platform to deliver potent SDT-triggered immunotherapy for highly effective cancer treatment. | Wenjun Zhu Qian Chen Qiutong Jin Yu Chao Lele Sun Xiao Han Jun Xu Longlong Tian Jinglei Zhang Teng Liu Zhuang Liu | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,1: | 3 |

| 9 | Rotational Friction Damper’s Performance for Controlling Seismic Response of High Speed Railway Bridge-Track System显示文摘CRTS-II slab ballastless track on bridge is a unique system in China high speed railway.The application of longitudinal continuous track system has obviously changed dynamic characteristics of bridge structure.The bridge system and CRTS-II track system form a complex nonlinear system.To investigate the seismic response of high speed railway(HSR)simply supported bridge-track system,nonlinear models of three-span simply supported bridge with piers of different height and CRTS-II slab ballastless track system are established.By seismic analysis,it is found that shear alveolar in CRTS-II track system is more prone to be damaged than bridge components,such as piers,girders and bearings.The result shows that the inconsistent displacement of bridge girders is the main cause of the CRTS-II track system’s damage.Then the rotational friction damper(RFD)is adopted,which utilizes the device’s rotation and friction to dissipate seismic energy.The hysteretic behavior of RFD is studied by numerical and experimental methods.Results prove that RFD can provide good hysteretic energy dissipation ability with stable performance.Furthermore,the analysis of RFD’s influence on seismic response of HSR bridge-track system shows that RFD with larger sliding force is more effective in controlling excessive inconsistent displacement where RFD is installed,though response of other bridge spans could slightly deteriorated. | Wei Guo Chen Zeng Hongye Gou Yao Hu Hengchao Xu Longlong Guo | 2019 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2019,,9: | 3 |

| 11 | Reappraise role of lymph node status in patterns of recurrence following curative resection of gastric adenocarcinoma显示文摘Objective: To examine the association between lymph node status and recurrence patterns in completely resected gastric adenocarcinoma.Methods: We retrospectively assessed 1,694 patients who underwent curative gastrectomy from January 2010 to August 2014. Patients stratified according to lymph node status and recurrence patterns among different subgroups were compared.Results: Of all, 517(30.5%) patients developed recurrent disease, and complete data of recurrence could be obtained in 493(95.4%) patients. For p^(N0) patients, the patterns of recurrence were different according to p T stage: locoregional recurrence was most common in patients with p T1-2 disease(57.1%), distant recurrence was most common in patients with p T3 disease(57.1%), and peritoneal recurrence was most common in patients with p T4 a disease(66.7%). For p^(N+) patients, distant metastasis was most common pattern irrespective of p T stage. The site-specific trend of recurrence showed that locoregional recurrence increased within 5 years in patients with p^(N0)-2 disease but plateaued 3 years after surgery in patients with p N3 disease. Time to recurrence was significantly longer for the p^(N0) patients compared with the p^(N+) patients(median: 25 vs. 16 months, P=0.001).Moreover, post-recurrence survival was significantly better for the p^(N0) patients than for the p^(N+) patients(median:12 vs. 6 months, P<0.001), especially in patients with non-peritoneal recurrence, late recurrence, single recurrence,and receipt of potential curative treatment.Conclusions: Among clinicopathologic factors, lymph node status is the most important factor associated with recurrence patterns after curative gastrectomy. This synthesis method was green as Ni/C can be prepared without any additional chemical and the self-reduction process was realized in N2, which can avoid using H2 thus averting some problems such as storage, transportation and safety of H2. | 17 | Seryl tRNA synthetase cooperates with POT1 to regulate telomere length and cellular senescence显示文摘Deregulated telomere length is a causative factor in many physiological and pathological processes,including aging and cancer.Many studies focusing on telomeres have revealed important roles for cooperation between the Shelterin protein complex and telomerase in maintaining telomere length.However,it remains largely unknown whether and how aging-related stresses,such as deregulated protein homeostasis,impact telomere length.Here,we explored the possible roles of aminoacyl tRNA synthetases(AARSs),key enzymes catalyzing the first reactions in protein synthesis,in regulating telomere length and aging.We selected seryl tRNA synthetase(SerRS)since our previous studies discovered expanded functions of SerRS in the nucleus in addition to its canonical cytoplasmic role in protein synthesis.In this study,we revealed that overexpression of SerRS promoted cellular senescence and inhibited the growth of cervical tumor xenografts in mice by triggering the senescence of tumor cells.In the nucleus,SerRS directly bound to telomeric DNA repeats and tethered more POT1 proteins to telomeres through a direct interaction between the UNE-S domain of SerRS and the OB1 domain of POT1.We further demonstrated that SerRS-induced enrichment of POT1 prevented the recruitment of telomerase to telomeres,resulting in progressive telomere shortening.Our data suggested a possible molecular link between protein synthesis and telomere length control,the deregulation of which may be associated with aging and cancer. | Yingxi Li Xiyang Li Mei Cao Yuke Jiang Jie Yan Ze Liu Rongcun Yang Xu Chen Peiqing Sun Rong Xiang Longlong Wang Yi Shi | 2019 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2019,4,1: | 1 |

| 19 | Probabilistic assessment of slope failure considering anisotropic spatial variability of soil properties显示文摘Anisotropic spatial variability of soil properties is frequently encountered in geotechnical engineering practice due to the complex depositional process.To quantitatively evaluate the response of slope failure related to anisotropic spatial variability of soil properties and reveal the underlying influence of anisotropic spatial variability of soil properties on the slope reliability,this study integrates the random finite difference method(RFDM)into a probabilistic assessment framework and adopts general spatial variability and a cohesive-frictional soil slope example for illustration.A parametric analysis is carried out to investigate the influence of general anisotropic spatial variability of soil properties on slope failure probability and failure characteristics.The results show that the directional angles of scales of fluctuation of general anisotropic spatial variability significantly affect the slope failure probability.The dominant failure mode is the intermediate type in most cases of general anisotropic spatial variability,which is distinguished from the shallow failure mode occurring in the homogenous state.Overestimation of cross-correlation between c and u(qc;u),scales of fluctuation(dmax and dmin)in general anisotropic spatially variable soils significantly influences the average slip mass volumes of deep and multi-slip failure mode.Compared with transverse anisotropic spatial variability,general anisotropic spatial variability significantly ampli-fies the effects of qc;u,dmax and dmin on slope reliability. | Longlong Chen Wengang Zhang Fuyong Chen Dongming Gu Lin Wang Zhenyu Wang | 2022 | Geoscience Frontiers2022,13,3: | 1 |
| 20 | Hydrogenolysis of organosolv hydrolyzed lignin over high-dispersion Ni/Al-SBA-15 catalysts for phenolic monomers显示文摘Efficiency and recycling of catalysts are important for the lignin hydrogenolysis to obtain phenolic monomers.In this work,a series of highdispersion Ni/AlSBA15 catalysts were prepared by a direct and effective preparation method,and then used in the hydrogenolysis of diphenyl ether(DE)and organosolv hydrolyzed lignin(OHL)for phenolic monomers.The universality of asmade catalysts in different solvents and cyclic performance were investigated.Results showed that the addition of ethylene glycol(EG)during the loading process of Ni promoted the dispersion of metal efficiently.High dispersion of Ni species could highly enhance the conversion of DE and the OHL which Ni/AlSBA15(1EG)exhibited the excellent catalytic performance.Decalin was found to be most effective solvent on the conversion of DE(99.16%).84.77%liquefaction ratio and 21.36%monomer yield were achieved,and no obvious char was observed after the depolymerization of OHL in ethanol solvent at 280℃for 4 h over the Ni/AlSBA15(1EG)catalyst. | Ying Xu Pengru Chen Wei Lv Chenguang Wang Longlong Ma Qi Zhang | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,4: | 1 |
