1ZmMs30 Encoding a Novel GDSL Lipase Is Essential for Male Fertility and Valuable for Hybrid Breeding in Maize显示文摘Genic male sterility (GMS) is very useful for hybrid vigor utilization and hybrid seed production. Although a large number of GMS genes have been identified in plants, little is known about the roles of GDSL lipase members in anther and pollen development. Here, we report a maize GMS gene, ZmMs30, which encodes a novel type of GDSL lipase with diverged catalytic residues. Enzyme kinetics and activity assays show that ZmMs30 has lipase activity and prefers to substrates with a short carbon chain. ZmMs30 is specifically expressed in maize anthers during stages 7-9. Loss of ZmMs30 function resulted in defective anther cuticle, irregular foot layer of pollen exine, and complete male sterility. Cytological and lipidomics analyses demonstrate that ZmMs30 is crucial for the aliphatic metabolic pathway required for pollen exine formation and anther cuticle development. Furthermore, we found that male sterility caused by loss of ZmMs30 function was stable in various inbred lines with different genetic background, and that it didn't show any negative effect on maize heterosis and production, suggesting that ZmMs30 is valuable for crossbreeding and hybrid seed production. We then developed a new multi-control sterility system using ZmMs30 and its mutant line, and demonstrated it is feasible for generating desirable GMS lines and valu. able for hybrid maize seed production. 2Evaluation and Selection of Sealants and Fillers Using Principal Component Analysis for Cracks in Asphalt Concrete Pavements显示文摘The objective of this paper was to develop a comprehensive evaluation method and index to evaluate the performance of sealants and fillers for cracks in asphalt concrete pavements using the method of principal component analysis. The performance experiments including cone penetration, softening point, flow, resilience and tension at low temperature respectively were conducted by reference of ASTM D5329 for eight sealants and fillers often used in China. There by a principal component model was developed and weight of every index was calculated. The experimental results show that there are significantly different performances for sealants and fillers often used in China. 4Point-of-Interest Recommendation in LocationBased Social Networks with Personalized Geo-Social Influence显示文摘Point-of-interest(POI) recommendation is a popular topic on location-based social networks(LBSNs).Geographical proximity,known as a unique feature of LBSNs,significantly affects user check-in behavior.However,most of prior studies characterize the geographical influence based on a universal or personalized distribution of geographic distance,leading to unsatisfactory recommendation results.In this paper,the personalized geographical influence in a two-dimensional geographical space is modeled using the data field method,and we propose a semi-supervised probabilistic model based on a factor graph model to integrate different factors such as the geographical influence.Moreover,a distributed learning algorithm is used to scale up our method to large-scale data sets.Experimental results based on the data sets from Foursquare and Gowalla show that our method outperforms other competing POI recommendation techniques.HUANG Liwei MA Yutao LIU Yanbo 2015China Communications2015,12,12:6
5Data-driven Robust State Estimation Through Off-line Learning and On-line Matching显示文摘To overcome the shortcomings of model-driven state estimation methods, this paper proposes a data-driven robust state estimation (DDSE) method through off-line learning and on-line matching. At the off-line learning stage, a linear regression equation is presented by clustering historical data from supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), which provides a guarantee for solving the over-learning problem of the existing DDSE methods;then a novel robust state estimation method that can be transformed into quadratic programming (QP) models is proposed to obtain the mapping relationship between the measurements and the state variables (MRBMS). The proposed QP models can well solve the problem of collinearity in historical data. Furthermore, the off-line learning stage is greatly accelerated from three aspects including reducing historical categories, constructing tree retrieval structure for known topologies, and using sensitivity analysis when solving QP models. At the on-line matching stage, by quickly matching the current snapshot with the historical ones, the corresponding MRBMS can be obtained, and then the estimation values of the state variables can be obtained. 6Regional long-term trend of ground solar radiation in China over the past 50 years显示文摘Based on global solar radiation and related meteorological data from 57 stations in China between 1961 and 2009, we analyze the variation of surface global solar radiation (G) and its relationship to meteorological elements using linear-trend estimation, wavelet analysis, and the Mann-Kendall test. The results show that of the 33 stations with time series longer than 45 years, G is significant at the 95% confidence level. G has a decreasing trend at many stations, but results vary across different areas. The decadal departure percentage of G increased from the 1960s to 1970s, declined gradually after the 1970s, and decreased significantly in the 1980s. In the 1990s, the trend at a few sites slightly increased. The trend of cumulative variance is of four types, i.e. rise-fall, rise-fall-slight rise, rise-fall-rise, and not obvious. For changes within a year, the most obvious decline was in winter, and the rest of the year had a slight decrease. The major cycles of annual G were 6-9, 10-13, and 29-33 a. The inflection points were mostly in the 1970s. The reasons for greater changes were complex. Relevant meteorological elements were selected and analyzed by statistical methods. Trends in climatic parameters, such as annual average percentage of sunshine, annual average wind speed, and annual average of low cloud cover, were closely related to G. Thus, this indicated the potential causes of the observed trends in G. The long-term trend for annual G in some regions was also influenced by anthro- pogenic activities. 7Preparation and heat insulating capacity of Sm2Zr2O7-SiC composites based on photon thermal transport显示文摘A series of Sm2Zr2O7-SiC composites doped with different volume fraction and particle size of SiC were prepared by hot pressing at 1300°C.The phase of the composites prepared is P-Sm2Zr2O7 and C-SiC,and no other diffraction peaks exist,which indicates that Sm2Zr2O7 has great chemical compatibility with SiC.The thermal conductivity and phonon thermal conductivity of the Sm2Zr2O7-SiC composites are measured by the laser pulse method.The photon thermal conductivity of the composites is obtained by subtracting the phonon thermal conductivity from the total thermal conductivity.The results show that the photon thermal conductivity of Sm2Zr2O7-SiC composites is lower than that of pure Sm2Zr2O7.The photon thermal conductivity of Sm2Zr2O7-SiC composites decreases first and then increases with the increase of SiC particle size.Sm2Zr2O7-(5 vol%,10µm)SiC composite has the lowest photon thermal conductivity.Zhuang Ma Qi Zhang Ling Liu Yanbo Liu 2020Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,4:3
8Improved thermal stability and infrared emissivity of high-entropy REMgAl_(11)O_(19)and LaMAl_(11)O_(19)(RE=La,Nd,Gd,Sm,Pr,Dy;M=Mg,Fe,Co,Ni,Zn)显示文摘LaMgAl_(11)O_(19)(LMA),characterized by high melting point,low density and thermal conductivity as well as good infrared emissivity,is regarded as a potential candidate for the thermal protection of hypersonic vehicles.Nevertheless,the unsatisfied phase stability at high temperature results in declining of the emissivity below 6μm,which limits the extensive applications of LaMgAl_(11)O_(19).In order to overcome this obstacle,three dense bulk high-entropy ceramics,(La_(0.2)Nd_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Pr_(0.2))MgAl_(11)O_(19)(HE LMA-1),(La_(0.2)Nd_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Dy_(0.2))Mg Al_(11)O_(19)(HE LMA-2)and La(Mg_(0.2)Fe_(0.2)Co_(0.2)Ni_(0.2)Zn_(0.2))Al_(11)O_(19)(HE LMA-3),were designed and successfully prepared through solid state reaction at 1700℃for 4 h in one step.XRD analyses show that the phase compositions of HE LMA-1,HE LMA-2 and HE LMA-3 are single-phase solid solutions with the relative density of 95.61%,95.49%and 94.31%,respectively.Heat treatment experiments demonstrate that the phase composition of HE LMA-1 remains a single phase after high-temperature heating,while second phase appears in other two samples.The stability of HE LMA-1 is attributed to small average size differenceδ(~4%)of constitute elements.Intriguingly,the average emissivity of HE LMA-1 in the range of 3-6μm reaches 0.9,which is significantly higher than that of LMA and other two HE LMA samples.The emissivity of all samples remains above 0.95 from 6 to 10μm.In the far infrared region(10-14μm),although the emissivity of these specimens decreases slightly,it still exceeds 0.85.The UV-Vis absorption spectra indicate that the formation of many discrete impurity energy levels with small intervals in HE LMA-1 promotes the f electrons to transit between adjacent impurity energy levels and conduction band,which enhances the infrared emission of HE LMA-1 below 6μm.In a word,with improved phase stability and thermal emissivity in infrared range,high-entropy REMgAl_(11)O_(19),especially(La_(0.2)Nd_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Pr_(0.2))MgAl_(11)O_(19)(HE LMA-1),is a promising candidate in thermal protection coatings of hypersonic vehicles.Haolin Zhu Ling Liu Huimin Xiang Fu-Zhi Dai Xiaohui Wang Zhuang Ma Yanbo Liu Yanchun Zhou 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,9:3

11Air plasma-sprayed high-entropy (Y_(0.2)Yb_(0.2)Lu_(0.2)Eu_(0.2)Er_(0.2))_(3)Al_(5)O_(12) coating with high thermal protection performance显示文摘High-entropy rare-earth aluminate(Y_(0.2)Yb_(0.2)Lu_(0.2)Eu_(0.2)Er_(0.2))_(3)Al_(5)O_(12)(HE-RE_(3)Al_(5)O_(12))has been considered as a promising thermal protection coating(TPC)material based on its low thermal conductivity and close thermal expansion coefficient to that of Al2O3.However,such a coating has not been experimentally prepared,and its thermal protection performance has not been evaluated.To prove the feasibility of utilizing HE-RE_(3)Al_(5)O_(12) as a TPC,HE-RE_(3)Al_(5)O_(12) coating was deposited on a nickelbased superalloy for the first time using the atmospheric plasma spraying technique.The stability,surface,and cross-sectional morphologies,as well as the fracture surface of the HE-RE_(3)Al_(5)O_(12) coating were investigated,and the thermal shock resistance was evaluated using the oxyacetylene flame test.The results show that the HE-RE_(3)Al_(5)O_(12) coating can remain intact after 50 cycles at 1200℃ for 200 s,while the edge peeling phenomenon occurs after 10 cycles at 1400℃ for 200 s.This study clearly demonstrates that HE-RE_(3)Al_(5)O_(12) coating is effective for protecting the nickel-based superalloy,and the atmospheric plasma spraying is a suitable method for preparing this kind of coatings.Kailun WANG Jinpeng ZHU Hailong WANG Kaijun YANG Yameng ZHU Yubin QING Zhuang MA Lihong GAO Yanbo LIU Sihao WEI Yongchun SHU Yanchun ZHOU Jilin HE 2022Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,10:2

13Reaction products of Sm_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7) with calcium-magnesium-aluminum-silicate(CMAS)and their evolution显示文摘During flight,many silicates(sand,dust,debris,fly ash,etc.)are ingested by an engine.They melt at high operating temperatures on the surface of thermal barrier coatings(TBCs)to form calcium-magnesium-aluminum-silicate(CMAS)amorphous settling.CMAS corrodes TBCs and causes many problems,such as composition segregation,degradation,cracking,and disbanding.As a new generation of TBC candidate materials,rare-earth zirconates(such as Sm_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7))have good CMAS resistance properties.The reaction products of Sm_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7) and CMAS and their subsequent changes were studied by the reaction of Sm_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7) and excess CMAS at 1350℃.After 1 h of reaction,Sm_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7) powders were not completely corroded.The reaction products were Sm-apatite and c-Zr0_(2) solid solution.After 4h of reaction,all Sm_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7) powders were completely corroded.After 24 h of reaction,Sm-apatite disappeared,and the c-Zr02 solid solution remained.Yinghua WANG Zhuang MA Ling LIU Yanbo LIU 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,6:1

15Fast Growth of Highly Ordered TiO2 Nanotube Arrays on Si Substrate under High-Field Anodization显示文摘Highly ordered TiO_2 nanotube arrays(NTAs) on Si substrate possess broad applications due to its high surfaceto-volume ratio and novel functionalities, however, there are still some challenges on facile synthesis. Here, we report a simple and cost-effective high-field(90–180V) anodization method to grow highly ordered TiO_2 NTAs on Si substrate,and investigate the effect of anodization time, voltage, and fluoride content on the formation of TiO_2 NTAs. The current density–time curves, recorded during anodization processes, can be used to determine the optimum anodization time. It is found that the growth rate of TiO_2 NTAs is improved significantly under high field, which is nearly 8 times faster than that under low fields(40–60 V). 16Effect of Ni content on high power laser ablation behavior of coatings sprayed by Ni covering graphite/SiO2 powders显示文摘Faced with the challenge of high energy ablation problems, especially for laser ablation, effective energy dissipation protective materials fabricate by efficient preparation method is a feasible solution. The Ni-graphite/Si O2 coatings with different Ni content were prepared by plasma spraying method with optimized plasma spraying parameters. All coatings are pure without oxidation and dense. Their ablation behaviors were investigated by high power continuous wave laser. The results indicate that the Ni-graphite/Si O2 coating with appropriate Ni content could realize the purpose of energy consumption by endothermal reaction of graphite/Si O2 and reflection improvement. 18Study on water corrosion behavior of ZrSiO_4 materials显示文摘ZrSiO_4 bulk was prepared by pressureless sintering process and ZrSiO_4 coating was deposited on the SiC f/Si C substrate using air plasma method. The microstructures of ZrSiO_4 bulk and ZrSiO_4 coating are both dense. A preliminary study of a water vapor corrosion test for ZrSiO_4 bulk and ZrSiO_4 coating was performed under the conditions of 1.013×105 Pa, 90%H_2O/10%O_2, 1300 ℃, and low gas velocity. Results show that some pores appear on the surface of the ZrSiO_4 bulk. The main crystal phase is ZrO_2 and the weight loss of ZrSiO_4 bulk is only 0.236 mg/cm^2 after corrosion. The ZrSiO_4 coating peels off from the substrate after 109 h. The number and intensity of diffraction peaks of ZrO_2 in the coating increase, and the major crystal phase of the coating is still ZrSiO_4. 19Gender difference in network relationship between inter-temporal decisions and prefrontal activation levels in internet gaming disorder显示文摘Background:Impulsivity and decision-making are key factors in addiction.However,little is known about how gender and time sensitivity affect impulsivity in internet gaming disorder(IGD).Objective:To investigate the gender difference of impulsive decision-making and relevant brain responses in IGD.Methods:We conducted a functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)study with 123 participants,including 59 IGD individuals(26 females)and 64 matched recreational game users(RGUs,23 females).Participants performed a delay-discounting task during fMRI scanning.We examined gender-by-group effects on behavioral and neural measures to explore the preference for immediate over delayed rewards and the associated brain activity.We also investigated the network correlations between addiction severity and behavioral and neural measures,and analyzed the mediating role of brain activity in the link between delay discounting parameters and IGD severity.Results:We found significant gender-by-group interactions.The imaging results revealed gender-by-group interactions in the dor-solateral prefrontal cortex,medial frontal gyrus,and inferior frontal gyrus(IFG).Post hoc analysis indicated that,for females,RGUs showed higher activity than IGD individuals in these brain regions,while for males IGD individuals exhibited higher activity than RGUs.The activation in the left IFG mediated the relation between Internet Addiction Test score and discount rate in females.In males,the activation in the right dlPFC mediated the relation between IAT score and time sensitivity.Discussion:Our findings imply that male IGD participants demonstrate impaired intertemporal decisions associated with neural dysfunction.Influencing factors for impulsive decision-making in IGD diverge between males(time sensitivity)and females(discount rate).These findings augment our comprehension of the neural underpinnings of gender differences in IGD and bear significant implications for devising effective intervention strategies for treating people with IGD.Hui Zheng Weiran Zhou Min Wang Hao-hao Dong Chunlei Lu Jia-lin Zhang Xue-feng Ma Yanbo Hu Guang-Heng Dong 2023Psychoradiology2023,3,1:0
20Atomic-resolution investigation of structural transformation caused by oxygen vacancy in La_(0.9)Sr_(0.1)TiO_(3+δ)titanate layer perovskite ceramics显示文摘Perovskite functional ceramics have been widely applied for thermal protection owing to their unique physical properties.However,formation of oxygen vacancies under external stimuli usually limits their performance in practical applications.Therefore,the mechanism of the effect of oxygen vacancy on the layer structure of perovskite La_(0.9)Sr_(0.1)TiO_(3+δ)was investigated by experiments and first-principles simulations.The experimental results showed that the lattice distortion occurred in oxygen-deficient environment to give a longer c-axis,along with a significant adjustment in the modes of A/B–O bond vibration,resulting in lower reflectivity.Advanced transmission electron microscopy studies revealed that oxygen vacancies induced localized atomic rearrangements via[TiO_(6)]layer movements to adapt to the lattice distortion.This eventually restructured a part of the layer interfaces by expanding the overlapping projection of atoms in the c-axial direction.The specific transformation process was described as a compendious process,while geometric phase analysis effectively clarified how oxygen vacancies can inhibit reflectivity on the layer structure.Thus,this study provides effective approaches for researching the effects of oxygen vacancy on the physical properties of orthorhombic layer perovskite structures,which may facilitate the development of perovskite-based functional devices.Yang Zhao Yameng Zhu Jinpeng Zhu Hailong Wang Zhuang Ma Lihong Gao Yanbo Liu Kaijun Yang Yongchun Shu Jilin He 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,9:0
