| 1 | The geometric factor of high energy protons detector on FY-3 satellite显示文摘Geometric factor is the key parameter for inversion of particle spectrum in space particle detection. Traditional geometric factor is obtained through the method of numerical calculation with the actual structure of the detector as the input condition. The degree of accuracy for data inversion is reduced since traditional geometric factor fails to take into account the physical process of interaction between the particle and substance as well as the influence of factors such as the particle interference between different energy channels on the measurement result. Here we propose an improved geometrical factor calculation method, the concept of which is to conduct actual structural modelling of the detector in the GEANT4 program, consider the process of interaction between the particle and substance, obtain the response function of the detector to particles of different energy channels through the method of Monte Carlo simulation, calculate the influence of contaminated particle on the geometrical factor, and finally get the geometrical factors for different energy channels of the detector. The imrpoved geometrical factor obtained through the method has carried out inversion for the data of high energy protons detector on China's FY-3 satellite, the energy spectrum after which is more in line with the power law distribution recognized by space physics. | 3 | Recent progress in fluorinated electrolytes for improving the performance of Li–S batteries显示文摘Lithium–sulfur(Li–S) batteries represent a 'beyond Li-ion' technology with low cost and high theoretical energy density and should fulfill the ever-growing requirements of electric vehicles and stationary energy storage systems. However, the sulfur-based conversion reaction in conventional liquid electrolytes results in issues like the so-called shuttle effect of polysulfides and lithium dendrite growth, which deteriorate the electrochemical performance and safety of Li–S batteries. Optimization of conventional organic solvents(including ether and carbonate) by fluorination to form fluorinated electrolytes is a promising strategy for the practical application of Li–S batteries. The fluorinated electrolytes, owing to the high electronegativity of fluorine, possesses attractive physicochemical properties, including low melting point,high flash point, and low solubility of lithium polysulfide, and can form a compact and stable solid electrolyte interphase(SEI) with the lithium metal anode. Herein, we review recent advancements in the development of fluorinated electrolytes for use in Li–S batteries. The effect of solvent molecular structure on the performance of Li–S batteries and the formation mechanism of SEI on the cathode and anode sides are analyzed and discussed in detail. | 4 | Overview to the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (Insight-HXMT) Satellite显示文摘As China’s first X-ray astronomical satellite, the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (HXMT), which was dubbed as Insight-HXMT after the launch on June 15, 2017, is a wide-band(1-250 ke V) slat-collimator-based X-ray astronomy satellite with the capability of all-sky monitoring in 0.2-3 Me V. | 5 | Biomimetic mineralization and cytocompatibility of nanorod hydroxyapatite/graphene oxide composites显示文摘Nanorod hydroxyapatite (NRHA)/graphene oxide (GO)composites with weight ratios of 0.4,1.5, and 5have been fabricated by a facile ultrasonic-assisted method at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. The chemical structure properties and morphology of the composites were characterized by field emission source scanning electron microscope,X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy.The results indicate that the NRHA/ GO composites have an irregular surface with different degree wrinkles and are stable,and NRHA are well combined with GO.In addition,the biomimetic mineralization mechanism of hydroxyapatite on the NRHA/GO composites in simulated body fluid (SBF)is presented.The presence of a bone-like apatite layer on the composite surface indicate that the NRHA/GO composites facilitate the nucleation and growth of hydroxyapatite crystals in SBF for biomimetic mineralization.Moreover,the NRHA-1.5/GO composite and pure GO were cultured with MC3T3-E1cells to investigate the proliferation and adhesion of cells.In vitro cytocompatibility evaluation demonstrated that the NRHA/GO composite can act as a good template for the growth and adhesion of cells. | 13 | Proton belt variations traced back to Fengyun-1C satellite observations显示文摘We used historical data to trace trapped protons observed by the Fengyun-1C(FY-1C)satellite at low Earth orbits(~800 km)and chose data at 5–10 MeV,10–40 MeV,40–100 MeV,and^100–300 MeV from 25 March to 18 April 2000 to analyze the proton variations.Only one isolated strong storm was associated with a solar proton event during this period,and there was no influence from previous proton variations.Complex dynamic phenomena of proton trapping and loss were affected by this disturbance differently depending on the energy and L location.The flux of 5–10 MeV protons increased and created new trapping with a maximum at L^2.0,and the peak flux was significantly higher than that at the center of the South Atlantic Anomaly.However,at higher L,the flux showed obvious loss,with retreat of the outer boundary from L^2.7 to L^2.5.The increase in the 10–40 MeV proton flux was similar to that of the 5–10 MeV flux;however,the peak flux intensity was lower than that at the center of the South Atlantic Anomaly.The loss of the 10–40 MeV proton flux was closer to the Earth side,and the outer boundary was reduced from L^2.3 to L^2.25.For the higher energy protons of 40–100 MeV and 100–300 MeV,no new trapping was found.Loss of the 40–100 MeV protons was observed,and the outer boundary shifted from L^2.0 to L^1.9.Loss was not obvious for the 100–400 MeV protons,which were distributed within L<1.8.New proton trapping was more likely to be created at lower energy in the region of solar proton injection by the strong magnetic storm,whereas loss occurred in a wide energy range and reduced the outer boundary on the Earth side.Similar dynamic changes were observed by the NOAA-15 satellite in the same period,but the FY-1C satellite observed more complex changes in lower energy protons.These results revealed that the dynamic behavior of protons with different L-shells was due to differences in the pitch angle.Possible mechanisms related to new trapping and loss are also discussed.These mechanisms are very important for understanding the behavior of the proton belt in the coming solar cycle. | ChunQin Wang Zheng Chang XiaoXin Zhang GuoHong Shen ShenYi Zhang YueQiang Sun JiaWei Li Tao Jing HuanXin Zhang Ying Sun BinQuan Zhang | 2020 | Earth and Planetary Physics2020,4,6: | 1 |

| 19 | Research on stability and Hopf bifurcation of marine ecosystem dynamics models显示文摘The predictability of marine ecosystem dynamics models is one of the most vital factors to limit their practical applications, of which the stability is the fundamental condition. In order to discuss the stability and Hopf bifurcation of marine ecosystem dynamics models, an approach based on a theorem termed dimension reduction was proposed and further applied in the mass-conservative nutrient-phytoplankton-zooplankton-detritus(NPZD) model in this paper. Results showed that the nonsingular equilibrium point of NPZD model was analytically stable in use of the dimension reduction theorem and the Hopf bifurcation might occur when model parameters changed along the threshold values. The analytical results of the NPZD model were further verified by numerical simulation in this study. | 20 | Physiological Responses of Dendrobium officinale under Exposure to Cold Stress with Two Cultivars显示文摘This study aimed to explore the cold tolerance of two cultivars of Dendrobium officinale(MG1,MG2)grown in different regions of China.Under-2℃ incubation,cultivar MG1 remained active after 3 d,and continued to grow after returning to room temperature.However,MG2 could only maintain its activity after 2 d treatment at−2℃,and the seedlings died with the low temperature treatment time.Investigation of the characteristics of the plants grown in the south(Hangzhou)or north(Zhengzhou)of China indicated that the leaves of MG1 also had reduced stomatal density,the highest thickness,and a compact microstructure.The contents of proline and soluble sugars were higher in MG1 than those in MG2.The cultivar MG1 had higher SOD enzyme activity than MG2,while CAT and POD activities in samples from Zhengzhou were higher than those from Hangzhou.The contents of polysaccharides and alkaloids in stems of in MG1 were higher than those in MG2,while the content of flavonoids in the Zhengzhou samples was higher than that in the Hangzhou samples.In addition,plant heights,stem diameters,and chlorophyll content were higher in MG1.Overall,MG1 had better cold resistance than MG2.MG1 is a cold tolerant cultivar with thick leaves and reduced stomatal density,higher contents of soluble sugars,proline,CAT,POD,polysaccharides,flavonoids and alkaloids,which together make it more adaptable to low temperatures.Thus,the cultivar MG1,with its demonstrated cold tolerance,can accordingly be grown on a large scale in cold regions,thereby expanding the available planting area for this important traditional medicinal plant to meet the increasing commercial demand for it. | Shuaishuai Zhang Jin Li Yongchang Shen Linda Nartey Korkor Qian Pu Jin Lu Balock Shakeela Dedong Kong Ou Li Guohong Zeng Xiufang Hu | 2020 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2020,89,3: | 0 |
