2An operational two-layer remote sensing model to estimate surface flux in regional scale: Physical background显示文摘Based on the improved interaction mechanism of two-layer model, this paper proposed Pixel Component Arranging and Comparing Algorithm (PCACA) and theoretically positioning algorithm, estimated the true temperature of mixed pixel in four extreme points in combination with the measurements of dry and wet points in calibration fields and improved the reliability of positioning dry and wet line. A new two-layer energy-separation algorithm was proposed,which was simple and direct without resistance network parameters for each pixel. We also proposed a new thought about the effect of advection. The albedo of mixed pixel was also separated with PCACA. In combination with two-layer energy-separation algorithm, the net radiation of mixed pixel was separated to overcome the uncertainty of conventional energy-separation algorithm using Beer's Law. Through the validation of retrieval result, this method is proved to be feasible and operational. 3Enhancement of acellular cartilage matrix scaffold by Wharton’s jelly mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes to promote osteochondral regeneration显示文摘Articular cartilage defect repair is a problem that has long plagued clinicians.Although mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)have the potential to regenerate articular cartilage,they also have many limitations.Recent studies have found that MSC-derived exosomes(MSC-Exos)play an important role in tissue regeneration.The purpose of this study was to verify whether MSC-Exos can enhance the reparative effect of the acellular cartilage extracellular matrix(ACECM)scaffold and to explore the underlying mechanism.The results of in vitro experiments show that human umbilical cord Wharton’s jelly MSC-Exos(hWJMSC-Exos)can promote the migration and proliferation of bone marrow-derived MSCs(BMSCs)and the proliferation of chondrocytes.We also found that hWJMSC-Exos can promote the polarization of macrophages toward the M2 phenotype.The results of a rabbit knee osteochondral defect repair model confirmed that hWJMSC-Exos can enhance the effect of the ACECM scaffold and promote osteochondral regeneration.We demonstrated that hWJMSC-Exos can regulate the microenvironment of the articular cavity using a rat knee joint osteochondral defect model.This effect was mainly manifested in promoting the polarization of macrophages toward the M2 phenotype and inhibiting the inflammatory response,which may be a promoting factor for osteochondral regeneration.In addition,microRNA(miRNA)sequencing confirmed that hWJMSC-Exos contain many miRNAs that can promote the regeneration of hyaline cartilage.We further clarified the role of hWJMSC-Exos in osteochondral regeneration through target gene prediction and pathway enrichment analysis.In summary,this study confirms that hWJMSC-Exos can enhance the effect of the ACECM scaffold and promote osteochondral regeneration.Shuangpeng Jiang Guangzhao Tian Zhen Yang Xiang Gao Fuxin Wang Juntan Li Zhuang Tian Bo Huang Fu Wei Xinyu Sang Liuqi Shao Jian Zhou Zhenyong Wang Shuyun Liu Xiang Sui Quanyi Guo Weimin Guo Xu Li 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,9:11

5Relationship between the number of tapping-induced secondary laticifer lines and rubber yield among Hevea germplasm显示文摘The lack of suitable early selection parameters means that traditional rubber breeding for yield is time consuming and inefficient. Laticifer is a tissue specific fo natural rubber biosynthesis and storage in rubber tree. The number of the secondary laticifers in the trunk bark tissues is positively correlated with rubber yield in the matured rubber trees that are regularly tapped. In the present study the rubber yield from 280 of 4–5 year-old virgin trees from7 cross combinations was compared with the number o newly differentiated secondary laticifers caused by tapping. 6The secondary laticifer differentiation in rubber tree is induced by trichostatin A, an inhibitor of histone acetylation显示文摘The secondary laticifer, a specific tissue in the secondary phloem of rubber tree, is differentiated from the vascular cambia. The number of the secondary laticifer in the trunk bark of rubber tree is positively correlated with rubber yield. Although jasmonates have been demonstrated to be crucial in the regulation of secondary laticifer differentiation, the mechanism for the jasmonate-induced secondary laticifer differentiation remains to be elucidated.By using an experimental morphological technique, the present study revealed that trichostatin A(TSA), an inhibitor of histone deacetylation, could induce the secondary laticifer differentiation in a concentrationdependent manner. 7In situ generation of Li_(3)N concentration gradient in 3D carbon-based lithium anodes towards highly-stable lithium metal batteries显示文摘The uncontrolled dendrite growth of lithium metal anodes(LMAs)caused by unstable anode/electrolyte interface and uneven lithium deposition have impeded the practical applications of lithium metal batteries(LMBs).Constructing a robust artificial solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)and regulating the lithium deposition behavior is an effective strategy to address these issues.Herein,a three-dimensional(3D)lithium anode with gradient Li_(3)N has been in-situ fabricated on carbon-based framework by thermal diffusion method(denoted as CC/Li/Li_(3)N).Density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that Li_(3)N can effectively promote the transport of Li^(+)due to the low energy barrier of Li^(+)diffusion.As expected,the Li_(3)N-rich conformal artificial SEI film can not only effectively stabilize the interface and avoid parasitic reactions,but also facilitate fast Li^(+)transport across the SEI layer.The anode matrix with uniformly distributed Li3N can enable homogenous deposition of Li,thus preventing Li dendrite propagation.Benefiting from these merits,the CC/Li/Li_(3)N anode achieves ultralong-term cycling for>1000 h at a current density of 2 m A cm^(-2)and dendrite-free Li deposition at an ultrahigh rate of 20 m A cm^(-2).Moreover,the full cells coupled with LiFePO4cathodes show extraordinary cycling stability for>300 cycles in liquidelectrolyte-based batteries and display a high-capacity retention of 96.7%after 100 cycles in solid-state cells,demonstrating the promising prospects for the practical applications of LMBs.Wenzhu Cao Weimin Chen Mi Lu Cheng Zhang Du Tian Liang Wang Faquan Yu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,1:4
8Uncertainty analysis and probabilistic design optimization of hybrid rocket motors for manned lunar landing显示文摘To obtain a conceptual design for a hybrid rocket motor(HRM)to be used as the Ascent Propulsion System in the Apollo lunar module,the deterministic design optimization(DDO)method is applied to the HRM design.Based on the results of an uncertainty analysis of HRMs,an uncertainty-based design optimization(UDO)method is also adopted to improve the design reliability.The HRM design process,which is a multidisciplinary system,is analyzed,and a mathematical model for the system design is established to compute the motor performance from the input parameters,including the input variables and model parameters.The input parameter uncertainties are quantified,and a sensitivity analysis of the model parameter uncertainties is conducted to identify the most important model parameter uncertainties for HRMs.The DDO and probabilistic UDO methods are applied to conceptual designs for an HRM to be used as a substitute for the liquid rocket motor(LRM)of the Ascent Propulsion System.The conceptual design results show that HRMs have several advantages as an alternative to the LRM of the Ascent Propulsion System,including nontoxic propellant combination,small motor volume,and comparable functions,such as restarting and throating.Comparisons of the DDO and UDO results indicate that the UDO method achieves more robust and reliable optimal designs than the DDO method.The probabilistic UDO method can be used to develop better conceptual designs for HRMs.ZHU Hao TIAN Hui CAI GuoBiao BAO WeiMin 2015Science China(Technological Sciences)2015,58,7:4
9Uncertainty analysis and design optimization of hybrid rocket motor powered vehicle for suborbital flight显示文摘In this paper, we propose an uncertainty analysis and design optimization method and its applications on a hybrid rocket motor(HRM) powered vehicle. The multidisciplinary design model of the rocket system is established and the design uncertainties are quantified. The sensitivity analysis of the uncertainties shows that the uncertainty generated from the error of fuel regression rate model has the most significant effect on the system performances. Then the differences between deterministic design optimization(DDO) and uncertainty-based design optimization(UDO) are discussed. Two newly formed uncertainty analysis methods, including the Kriging-based Monte Carlo simulation(KMCS) and Kriging-based Taylor series approximation(KTSA), are carried out using a global approximation Kriging modeling method. Based on the system design model and the results of design uncertainty analysis, the design optimization of an HRM powered vehicle for suborbital flight is implemented using three design optimization methods: DDO, KMCS and KTSA. The comparisons indicate that the two UDO methods can enhance the design reliability and robustness. 10Flow field design and process stability in electrochemical machining of diamond holes显示文摘The metal grille, commonly composed of an amount of diamond holes, has been growingly used as a key structure on stealth aircraft. Electrochemical machining(ECM) promises to be increasingly applied in aircraft manufacturing on the condition that process stability is guaranteed.In this work, a flow field model was designed to improve the process stability. This model is endowed with a variety of flow channel features, together with vibrating feeding modes. The flow field distribution on the bottom surface of the diamond hole was discussed and evaluated as well.The numerical results show that a short arc flow channel could significantly enhance the uniformity of electrolyte velocity distribution and a vibrating feeding of the cathode enables to reduce both fluctuations of the electrolyte velocity and pressure on the bottom surface of the diamond hole.Consequently, the flow field mutations were eliminated. It is verified from the experimental results that a short arc flow channel, when combined with vibrating feeding, is capable of improving machining localization and process stability markedly. 12Effect of Microstructure of Composite Powders on Microstructure and Properties of Microwave Sintered Alumina Matrix Ceramics显示文摘Two kinds of different structured alumina—titania composite powders were used to prepare alumina matrix ceramics by microwave sintering.One was powder mixture of alumina and titania at a micron—submicron level,in which fused-and-crushed alumina particles(micrometers) was clad with submicron-sized titania.The other was powder mixture of alumina and titania at nanometer—nanometer level,in which nano-sized alumina and nano-sized titania particles were homogeneously mixed by ball-milling and spray dried to prepare spherical alumina—titania composite powders.The effect of the microstructure of composite powders on microstructure and properties of microwave sintered alumina matrix ceramics were investigated.Nano-sized composite(NC) powder showed enhanced sintering behavior compared with micro-sized composite(MC) powders.The asprepared NC ceramic had much denser,finer and more homogenous microstructure than MC ceramic.The mechanical properties of NC ceramic were significantly higher than that of MC ceramic,e.g.the flexural strength,Vickers hardness and fracture toughness of NC ceramic were 85.3%,130.3%and 25.7%higher than that of MC ceramic,respectively.The improved mechanical properties of NC ceramic compared with that of MC ceramic were attributed to the enhanced densification and the finer and more homogeneous microstructure through the use of the nanostructured composite powders.Hanmin Bian Yong Yang You Wang Wei Tian Haifu Jiang Zhijuan Hu Weimin Yu 2013Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,5:2
13GENERALIZED SIMULATION MODEL FOR MILLED SURFACE TOPOGRAPHY-APPLICATION TO PERIPHERAL MILLING显示文摘Based on analyzing various factors influencing milled surface topography, firstly, a generalized model for milled surface topography is proposed. Secondly, using the principles of transformation matrix and vector operation, the trajectory equation of cutting edge relative to workpiece is derived. Then, a three dimensional topography simulation algorithm is constructed through dividing the workpiece into regular grids. Finally, taking the peripheral milling process as an example, the generalized model is simplified, and the corresponding simulation examples are given. 16A Knowledge Base System for Operation Optimization: Design and Implementation Practice for the Polyethylene Process显示文摘Setting up a knowledge base is a helpful way to optimize the operation of the polyethylene process by improving the performance and the ef ciency of reuse of information and knowledge two critical ele- ments in polyethylene smart manufacturing. In this paper, we propose an overall structure for a knowl- edge base based on practical customer demand and the mechanism of the polyethylene process. First, an ontology of the polyethylene process constructed using the seven-step method is introduced as a carrier for knowledge representation and sharing. Next, a prediction method is presented for the molecular weight distribution (MWD) based on a back propagation (BP) neural network model, by analyzing the relationships between the operating conditions and the parameters of the MWD. Based on this network, a differential evolution algorithm is introduced to optimize the operating conditions by tuning the MWD. 19A case of large-cell neuroendocrine carcinoma harboring rare ALK fusion with initial response to the ALK inhibitor crizotinib and acquired F1174L mutation after resistance显示文摘A 51-year-old,male,non-smoker with a 3.4 cm mass in the right middle lobe was diagnosed with large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma(LCNEC).Fluorescence in situ hybridization revealed anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK)gene translocation,in agreement with the immunohistochemistry result obtained with use of ALK-Ventana.Radiographic examinations showed both bone and brain metastasis.After two cycles of chemotherapy consisting of etoposide and cisplatin,the patient achieved stable disease,and was subsequently switched to crizotinib.Both computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging revealed partial response after 4 months of crizotinib,but progressed after treatment for 10 months,when several hard lymph nodes were palpable in the left supraclavicular fossa.Lymph node biopsy showed similar histology of tumor cells and targeted next-generation sequencing revealed ALK F1174L on exon 23 with two rare forms of ALK rearrangements.This case provides evidence of responsiveness of ALK inhibitors for a rare pattern of ALK-rearranged LCNEC,and suggests that F1174L,a common resistant mutation found in non-small-cell lung cancer,also causes crizotinib resistance in LCNEC.Ye Wang Panwen Tian Weiya Wang Yalun Li Yu Wang Weimin Li 2019Precision Clinical Medicine2019,2,1:1
20Hierarchical macro-microporous WPU-ECM scaffolds combined with Microfracture Promote in Situ Articular Cartilage Regeneration in Rabbits显示文摘Tissue engineering provides a promising avenue for treating cartilage defects.However,great challenges remain in the development of structurally and functionally optimized scaffolds for cartilage repair and regeneration.In this study,decellularized cartilage extracellular matrix(ECM)and waterborne polyurethane(WPU)were employed to construct WPU and WPU-ECM scaffolds by water-based 3D printing using low-temperature deposition manufacturing(LDM)system,which combines rapid deposition manufacturing with phase separation techniques.The scaffolds successfully achieved hierarchical macro-microporous structures.After adding ECM,WPU scaffolds were markedly optimized in terms of porosity,hydrophilia and bioactive components.Moreover,the optimized WPU-ECM scaffolds were found to be more suitable for cell distribution,adhesion,and proliferation than the WPU scaffolds.Most importantly,the WPU-ECM scaffold could facilitate the production of glycosaminoglycan(GAG)and collagen and the upregulation of cartilage-specific genes.These results indicated that the WPU-ECM scaffold with hierarchical macro-microporous structures could recreate a favorable microenvironment for cell adhesion,proliferation,differentiation,and ECM production.In vivo studies further revealed that the hierarchical macro-microporous WPU-ECM scaffold combined with the microfracture procedure successfully regenerated hyaline cartilage in a rabbit model.Six months after implantation,the repaired cartilage showed a similar histological structure and mechanical performance to that of normal cartilage.In conclusion,the hierarchical macro-microporous WPU-ECM scaffold may be a promising candidate for cartilage tissue engineering applications in the future.Mingxue Chen YangYang Li Shuyun Liu Zhaoxuan Feng Hao Wang Dejin Yang Weimin Guo Zhiguo Yuan Shuang Gao Yu Zhang Kangkang Zha Bo Huang Fu Wei Xinyu Sang Qinyu Tian Xuan Yang Xiang sui Yixin Zhou Yufeng Zheng Quanyi Guo 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,7:1
