1Dynamics modeling and control of a transport aircraft for ultra-low altitude airdrop显示文摘The nonlinear aircraft model with heavy cargo moving inside is derived by using the separation body method, which can describe the influence of the moving cargo on the aircraft attitude and altitude accurately. Furthermore, the nonlinear system is decoupled and linearized through the input–output feedback linearization method. On this basis, an iterative quasi-sliding mode(SM)flight controller for speed and pitch angle control is proposed. At the first-level SM, a global dynamic switching function is introduced thus eliminating the reaching phase of the sliding motion.At the second-level SM, a nonlinear function with the property of ‘‘smaller errors correspond to bigger gains and bigger errors correspond to saturated gains' ' is designed to form an integral sliding manifold, and the overcompensation of the integral term to big errors is weakened. Lyapunovbased analysis shows that the controller with strong robustness can reject both constant and time-varying model uncertainties. 2Elimination of senescent cells byβ-galactosidase-targeted prodrug attenuates inflammation and restores physical function in aged mice显示文摘Cellular senescence,a persistent state of cell cycle arrest,accumulates in aged organisms,contributes to tissue dysfunction,and drives age-related phenotypes.The clearance of senescent cells is expected to decrease chronic,low-grade inflammation and improve tissue repair capacity,thus attenuating the decline of physical function in aged organisms.However,selective and effective clearance of senescent cells of different cell types has proven challenging.Herein,we developed a prodrug strategy to design a new compound based on the increased activity of lysosomalβ-galactosidase(β-gal),a primary characteristic of senescent cells.Our prodrug SSK1 is specifically activated byβ-gal and eliminates mouse and human senescent cells independently of senescence inducers and cell types.In aged mice,our compound effectively cleared senescent cells in different tissues,decreased the senescence-and age-associated gene signatures,attenuated low-grade local and systemic inflammation,and restored physical function.Our results demonstrate that lysosomalβ-gal can be effectively leveraged to selectively eliminate senescent cells,providing a novel strategy to develop anti-aging interventions.Yusheng Cai Huanhuan Zhou Yinhua Zhu Qi Sun Yin Ji Anqi Xue Yuting Wang Wenhan Chen Xiaojie Yu Longteng Wang Han Chen Cheng Li Tuoping Luo Hongkui Deng 2020Cell Research2020,30,7:12

4Finite-time adaptive sliding mode control for heavyweight airdrop operations显示文摘This paper investigates the problem of designing a fast convergent sliding mode flight controller of a transport aircraft for heavyweight airdrop operations in the presence of bounded uncertainties without the prior knowledge of the bounds. On the basis of feedback linearization of the aircraft-cargo motion system, a novel integral sliding mode flight control law with gains adaptation is proposed. It contains a nominal control law used to achieve finite-time stabilization performance and a compensated control law used to reject the uncertainties. The switching gains of the compensated control law are tuned using adaptation algorithms, and the knowledge of the bounds of the uncertainties is not required to be known in advance. 5Server-aided immediate and robust user revocation mechanism for SM9显示文摘As the only approved Identity-Based Encryption scheme in China that is also standardized by ISO,SM9-IBE has been widely adopted in many real-world applications.However,similar to other IBE standard algorithms,SM9-IBE currently lacks revocation mechanism,which is vital for a real system.Worse still,we find that existing revocable techniques may not be suitable and efficient when applying to SM9-IBE.Given the widespread use of SM9-IBE,an efficient and robust user revocation mechanism becomes an urgent issue.In this work,we propose a dedicated server-aided revocation mechanism,which for the first time achieves the secure,immediate and robust user revocation for SM9-IBE.Provided with a compact system model,the proposed method leverages an existing server to perform all heavy workloads during user revocation,thus leaving no communication and computation costs for the key generation center and users.Moreover,the mechanism supports key-exposure resistance,meaning the user revocation mechanism is robust even if the revocation key leaks.We then formally define and prove the security.At last,we present theoretical comparisons and an implementation in terms of computational latency and throughput.The results indicate the efficiency and practicability of the proposed mechanism.Shuzhou Sun Hui Ma Rui Zhang Wenhan Xu 2020Cybersecurity2020,3,1:4
6First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. 7Relocation of the Yellow River Estuary in 1855 AD Recorded in the Sediment Core from the Northern Yellow Sea显示文摘Relocation of the Yellow River estuary has significant impacts on not only terrestrial environment and human activities,but also sedimentary and ecological environments in coastal seas.The responses of regional geochemical characteristics to the relocation event,however,have not been well studied.In the present study,we performed detailed geochemical elemental analyses of a sediment core from the northern Yellow Sea and studied their geochemical responses to the 1855 AD relocation of the Yellow River estuary.The results show that TOC/TN,Co/Al2O3,Cr/Al2O3,Ni/Al2O3and Se/Al2O3ratios all decreased abruptly after 1855 AD,and similar decreases are observed in the sediments of the mud area southwest off the Cheju Island.These abrupt changes are very likely caused by the changes in source materials due to the relocation of the Yellow River estuary from the southern Yellow Sea to the Bohai Sea,which the corresponding decreasing trends caused by the changes in main source materials from those transported by the Liaohe River,the Haihe River and the Luanhe River to those by the Yellow River.Because the events have precise ages recorded in historical archives,these obvious changes in elemental geochemistry of sediments can be used to calibrate age models of related coastal sea sediments.ZHOU Xin JIA Nan CHENG Wenhan WANG Yuhong SUN Liguang 2013Journal of Ocean University of China2013,12,4:3
8CD49a^(+)CD49b^(+) NK cells induced by viral infection reflect an activated state of conventional NK cells显示文摘Natural killer(NK) cells are important innate effectors that play a pivotal role in the defense against tumors and infections and participate in regulating adaptive immunity. Recent studies have revealed phenotypic and functional heterogeneity of NK cells.Here, using murine models of acute and chronic lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus infection, we observed that a CD49a^(+)CD49b^(+) NK cell subset emerged in the liver and other tissues, and underwent vigorous expansion following viral infection,before progressively decreasing in cell number. These viral infection-induced CD49a^(+)CD49b^(+) NK cells displayed an activated and mature phenotype. Moreover, compared with liver-resident NK cells and conventional NK(cNK) cells, CD49a^(+)CD49b^(+) NK cells showed increased functional competence, as evidenced by higher amounts of IFN-γ production and stronger cytotoxic capabilities during viral infection. Generation of these CD49a^(+)CD49b^(+) NK cells was shown to be independent of the T-bet transcription factor. Adoptive transfer experiments revealed that c NK cells could convert into CD49a^(+)CD49b^(+) NK cells following viral infection. 10Millennial mercury records derived from ornithogenic sediment on Dongdao Island,South China Sea显示文摘Two ornithogenic sediment cores,which have a time span of 1000 years and are influenced by red-footed booby (Sula sula),were collected from Dongdao Islands,South China Sea.The determined mercury concentrations of the two cores show similar and substantial fluctuations during the past millennium,and the fluctuations are most likely caused by the changes in mercury level of the ocean environment and in anthropogenic Hg emission.For the past 500 years,the mercury concentration in the red-footed booby excrement has a striking association with global anthropogenic mercury emission.The mercury concentration increased rapidly after AD 1600 in corresponding to beginning of the unparalleled gold and silver mining in South Central America that left a large volume of anthropogenic mercury pollution.Since the Industrial Revolution,the mercury level has increased at a fast pace,very likely caused by modern coal combustion,chlor-alkali and oil refining industries.The comparison of mercury profiles from different places on earth suggested that anthropogenic mercury pollution after the Industrial Revolution is more severe in Northern Hemisphere than in Antarctica.Hong Yan Yuhong Wang Wenhan Cheng Liguang Sun 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,9:2
11Intracellular pH-responsive iron-catechin nanoparticles with osteogenic/anti-adipogenic and immunomodulatory effects for efficient bone repair显示文摘Osteoimmunomodulation was identified as a new and important strategy to enhance osteogenic differentiation together with other osteogenic approaches.However,approaches regulating osteogenic differentiation and macrophage polarization to remodel an osteoinductive microenvironment are separate and complicated.Therefore,the design and synthesis of one biomaterial that couples the osteogenic performance and immunomodulatory ability is a major challenge for efficient bone repair.In this study,self-assembled iron-catechin nanoparticles(Fe-cat NPs)were designed based on the coordinated reaction between iron ions and catechin and synthesized via a facile one-pot strategy.Interestingly,Fe-cat NPs show intracellular pH-responsive disassembly and release catechin molecules under the low pH of lysosomes after endocytosis.This strategy delivers catechin intracellularly and then enhances the osteogenic differentiation while inhibits the adipogenic differentiation of human adipose-derived stem cells(hADSCs).More importantly,Fe-cat NPs remodel the osteogenic immune microenvironment by resisting inflammation and promoting M2 polarization of macrophages.As a promising metal-organic nanodrug,the intracellular pH-responsive Fe-cat NPs significantly enhance the therapeutic effect of bone regneration by orchestrating osteogenic differentiation and immunomodulation,which may have great potential in bone tissue engineering.Ying Kong Feng Liu Baojin Ma Wenhan Wang Liang Li Xiaoying Xu Zhaoyang Sun Hongru Yang Yuanhua Sang Dong Li Gang Li Chao Liu Shuhua Wang Hong Liu 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1

14Novel polyhydroxy cationic collector N-(2,3-propanediol)-Ndodecylamine: Synthesis and flotation performance to hematite and quartz显示文摘To enhance the performance of traditional cationic collector,a novel polyhydroxy amine collector N-(2,3-Propanediol)-N-dodecylamine(PDDA)was designed by introducing one propylene glycol group into dodecylamine(DDA).It was prepared by a nucleophilic substitution reaction,which showed better solubility and hydrophobicity than DDA and was firstly employed as the collector for the separation of hematite and quartz.Flotation tests showed that PDDA had an excellent flotation performance and significantly better selectivity than DDA.In addition,the flotation performance and adsorption mechanism of PDDA on hematite and quartz surfaces were studied using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),zeta potential and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)tests.These results demonstrated that the interaction between PDDA and the minerals’surfaces was mainly electrostatic adsorption and hydrogen bond,while PDDA tended to adsorb on the surfaces of quartz more than that of hematite.Performance optimization of amine collectors by introducing hydroxyl was also verified,which was of great meaning to the design,development,and application of the polyhydroxy cationic collector.In conclusion,PDDA could be used as a potential collector in the flotation separation of quartz and hematite.Wenbao Liu Xiangyu Peng Wengang Liu Kelin Tong Yanbai Shen Qiang Zhao Sikai Zhao Wenhan Sun 2023International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,1:1
15High-Frequency 3D Photoacoustic Computed Tomography Using an Optical Microring Resonator显示文摘3D photoacoustic computed tomography(3D-PACT)has made great advances in volumetric imaging of biological tissues,with high spatial-temporal resolutions and large penetration depth.The development of 3D-PACT requires high-performance acoustic sensors with a small size,large detection bandwidth,and high sensitivity.In this work,we present a new high-frequency 3D-PACT system that uses a microring resonator(MRR)as the acoustic sensor.The MRR sensor has a size of 80μm in diameter and was fabricated using the nanoimprint lithography technology.Using the MRR sensor,we have developed a transmission-mode 3D-PACT system that has achieved a detection bandwidth of~23 MHz,an imaging depth of~8 mm,a lateral resolution of 114μm,and an axial resolution of 57μm.We have demonstrated the 3D PACT’s performance on in vitro phantoms,ex vivo mouse brain,and in vivo mouse ear and tadpole.The MRR-based 3D-PACT system can be a promising tool for structural,functional,and molecular imaging of biological tissues at depths.Qiangzhou Rong Youngseop Lee Yuqi Tang Tri Vu Carlos Taboada Wenhan Zheng Jun Xia David A.Czaplewski Hao F.Zhang Cheng Sun Junjie Yao 2022Biomedical Engineering Frontiers2022,3,1:0
16Rational design of FeS_(2)microspheres as high-performance catalyst for electrooxidation of hydrazine显示文摘Inspired by the relatively recognized performance of transition metal sulfides in the oxidation of hydrazine,the catalytic properties of FeS_(2) and Fe_(3)S_(4) are compared via the density functional theory calculations.Due to the different coordination numbers of iron-sulfur,the free energies of the dehydrogenation steps on FeS_(2) are far less than those on Fe_(3)S_(4),which led to the much better catalytic performance of FeS_(2).Accordingly,FeS_(2) microspheres are rationally proposed as a more efficient electrocatalyst for hydrazine oxidation,which is then prepared by a facile one-step hydrothermal strategy.Such FeS_(2)microspheres show great activity for hydrazine oxidation with an onset oxidation potential of 0.22 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode,and a peak current density of 16 m A cm^(-2).Meanwhile,stability and high faradaic efficiency(3.5e-/N_(2)H_(4))is obtained for hydrazine oxidation to N_(2).Jie Sun Chuangwei Liu Wenhan Kong Jie Liu Liangyu Ma Song Li Yuanhong Xu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,15:0

18Response of polar regions to emerging organic pollutant organophosphorus esters (OPEs), a review显示文摘Polar regions are free from major anthropogenic impact due to their remoteness. However, certain pollutants can be transported there via atmospheric and/or oceanic circulations. Here we present an overview of current research on organophosphorus esters(OPEs) in polar regions by reviewing the literature on distribution, source and transport of OPEs. Current research on OPEs reveals significant anthropogenic influences in both polar regions. As well as the expected occurrence in the Arctic, OPEs were found on the Antarctic Ice Sheet up to 650 km from the coast, and the OPE concentrations were higher at high elevation due to cold climate retention. The immediate source of OPEs for inland Antarctica might be the Southern Ocean surrounding the continent, where OPEs in aerosols and seawater showed comparable concentrations to remote areas in the European Arctic. A positive correlation between aerosol OPEs in the open water and the surface vortex of ocean currents indicates that these compounds may be transported and accumulated in the ocean currents. 19Seismic attenuation compensation with spectral-shaping regularization显示文摘Because of the viscoelasticity of the subsurface medium,seismic waves will inherently attenuate during propagation,which lowers the resolution of the acquired seismic records.Inverse-Q filtering,as a typical approach to compensating for seismic attenuation,can efficiently recover high-resolution seismic data from attenuation.Whereas most efforts are focused on compensating for highfrequency energy and improving the stability of amplitude compensation by inverse-Q filtering,low-frequency leakage may occur as the high-frequency component is boosted.In this article,we propose a compensation scheme that promotes the preservation of lowfrequency energy in the seismic data.We constructed an adaptive shaping operator based on spectral-shaping regularization by tailoring the frequency spectra of the seismic data.We then performed inverse-Q filtering in an inversion scheme.This data-driven shaping operator can regularize and balance the spectral-energy distribution for the compensated records and can maintain the low-frequency ratio by constraining the overcompensation for high-frequency energy.Synthetic tests and applications on prestack common-reflectionpoint gathers indicated that the proposed method can preserve the relative energy of low-frequency components while fulfilling stable high-frequency compensation.QiZhen Du WanYu Wang WenHan Sun Li-Yun Fu 2022Earth and Planetary Physics2022,6,3:0
20Output feedback adaptive DSC for nonlinear systems with guaranteed L-infinity tracking performance显示文摘In this paper, the problem of output tracking for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems is considered. First, neural networks are employed to cope with uncertain nonlinear functions, based on which state estimation is constructed. Then, an output feedback control system is designed by using dynamic surface control (DSC). To guarantee the L-infinity tracking performance, an initialization technique is presented. The main feature of the scheme is that explosion of complex- ity problem in backstepping control is avoided, and there is no need to update the unknown parameters including control gains as well as neural networks weights, the adaptive law with one update parameter is necessary only at the first design step. It is proved that all signals of the closed-loop system are semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded and the L-infinity performance of system tracking error can be guaranteed.
