2Zircon SHRIMP U-Pb dating for olivine gabbro at Wangmuguan in the Beihuaiyang zone and its geological significance显示文摘Zircon SHRIMP U-Pb dating was per- formed for olivine gabbro at Wangmuguan in the Beihuaiyang zone of the Dabie orogen and its coun- try rock (garnet-bearing epidote-mica-quartz schist). The results show that the gabbro was crystallized at 635 ± 5 Ma, in the late Neoproterozoic rather than in the late Paleozoic as previously suggested; its coun- try rocks formed at 464±7 Ma, younger than the en- closed gabbro. The U-Pb age for the gabbro is in good agreement with ages for tuff interbedded with sediments from the Doushantuo Formation in the South China Block and late-Neoproterozoic basic dyke swarms distributed on a large scale over areas of Suizhou to Zaoyang of Hubei Province in the northern margin of the South China Block. This sug- gests a large-scale magmatic activity occurred at the late Neoproterozoic in the South China Block, so that the gabbro at Wangmuguan in the western segment of the Beihuaiyang zone is geotectonic affinity to the northern margin of the South China Block. Since the olivine gabbro occurs within the schist of Ordovician protolith with tectonic contact between them but forming in different tectonic settings, it is concluded that the late-Neoproterozoic gabbro was detached from the Precambrian basement of the South China Block during the Triassic subduction of the South China Block, and tectonically thrusted over the metamorphosed rocks in the southern margin of the North China Block.LIU Yican LI Shuguang GU Xiaofeng HOU Zhenhui 2006Chinese Science Bulletin2006,51,20:16
3CPSF30-L-mediated recognition of mRNA m^(6)A modification controls alternative polyadenylation of nitrate signaling-related gene transcripts in Arabidopsis显示文摘N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A),a ubiquitous internal modification of eukaryotic mRNAs,plays a vital role in almost every aspect of mRNA metabolism.However,there is little evidence documenting the role of m^(6)A in regulating alternative polyadenylation(APA)in plants.APA is controlled by a large protein-RNA complex with many components,including CLEAVAGE AND POLYADENYLATION SPECIFICITY FACTOR30(CPSF30).In Arabidopsis,CPSF30 has two isoforms and the longer isoform(CPSF30-L)contains a YT512-B Homology(YTH)domain,which is unique to plants.In this study,we showed that CPSF30-L YTH domain binds to m^(6)A in v itro.In the cpsf30-2 mutant,the transcripts of many genes including several important nitrate signaling-related genes had shifts in polyadenylation sites that were correlated with m^(6)A peaks,indicating that these gene transcripts carrying m^(6)A tend to be regulated by APA.Wild-type CPSF30-L could rescue the defects in APA and nitrate metabolism in cpsf30-2,but m^(6)A-binding-defective mutants of CPSF30-L could not.Taken together,our results demonstrated that m^(6)A modification regulates APA in Arabidops is and revealed that the m^(6)A reader CPSF30-L affects nitrate signaling by controlling APA,shedding new light on the roles of the m^(6)A modification during RNA 3-end processing in nitrate metabolism.Yiteng Hou Jing Sun Baixing Wu Yangyang Gao Hongbo Nie Zhentian Nie Shuxuan Quan Yong Wang Xiaofeng Cao Sisi Li 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,4:12

6Normal Structure and Function of Endothecium Chloroplasts Maintained by ZmMs33-Mediated Lipid Biosynthesis in Tapetal Cells Are Critical for Anther Development in Maize显示文摘Genic male sterility(GMS)is critical for heterosis utilization and hybrid seed production.Although GMS mutants and genes have been studied extensively in plants,it has remained unclear whether chloroplast-associated photosynthetic and metabolic activities are involved in the regulation of anther development.In this study,we characterized the function of ZmMs33/ZmGPAT6,which encodes a member of the glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase(GPAT)family that catalyzes the first step of the glycerolipid synthetic pathway.We found that normal structure and function of endothecium(En)chloroplasts maintained by ZmMs33-mediated lipid biosynthesis in tapetal cells are crucial for maize anther development.ZmMs33 is expressed mainly in the tapetum at early anther developmental stages and critical for cell proliferation and expansion at late stages.Chloroplasts in En cells of wild-type anthers function as starch storage sites before stage 10 but as photosynthetic factories since stage 10 to enable starch metabolism and carbohydrate supply.Loss of ZmMs33 function inhibits the biosynthesis of glycolipids and phospholipids,which are major components of En chloroplast membranes,and disrupts the development and function of En chloroplasts,resulting in the formation of abnormal En chloroplasts containing numerous starch granules.Further analyses reveal that starch synthesis during the day and starch degradation at night are greatly suppressed in the mutant anthers,leading to carbon starvation and low energy status,as evidenced by low trehalose-6-phosphate content and a reduced ATP/AMP ratio.The energy sensor and inducer of autophagy,SnRK1,was activated to induce early and excessive autophagy,premature PCD,and metabolic reprogramming in tapetal cells,finally arresting the elongation and development of mutant anthers.Taken together,our results not only show that ZmMs33 is required for normal structure and function of En chloroplasts but also reveal that starch metabolism and photosynthetic activities of En chloroplasts at different developmental stages are essential for normal anther development.These findings provide novel insights for understanding how lipid biosynthesis in the tapetum,the structure and function of En chloroplasts,and energy and substance metabolism are coordinated to maintain maize anther development.Taotao Zhu Ziwen Li Xueli An Yan Long Xiaofeng Xue Ke Xie Biao Ma Danfeng Zhang Yijian Guan Canfang Niu Zhenying Dong Quancan Hou Lina Zhao Suowei Wu Jinping Li Weiwei Jin Xiangyuan Wan 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,11:9

8Laparoscopic treatment for suspected gallbladder cancer confined to the wall: a 10-year study from a single institution显示文摘Objective: Although laparoscopic treatment of gallbladder cancer(GBC) has been explored in the last decade,long-term results are still rare. This study evaluates long-term results of intended laparoscopic treatment for suspected GBC confined to the gallbladder wall, based on our experience over 10 years.Methods: Between August 2006 and December 2015, 164 patients with suspected GBC confined to the wall were enrolled in the protocol for laparoscopic surgery. The process for GBC treatment was analyzed to evaluate the feasibility of computed tomography(CT) and/or magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) combined with frozen-section examination in identifying GBC confined to the wall. Of 159 patients who underwent the intended laparoscopic radical treatment, 47 with pathologically proven GBC were investigated to determine the safety and oncologic outcomes of a laparoscopic approach to GBC.Results: Among the 164 patients, 5 patients avoided further radical surgery because of unresectable disease and12 were converted to open surgery; in the remaining 147 patients, totally laparoscopic treatment was successfully accomplished. Extended cholecystectomy was performed in 37 patients and simple cholecystectomy in 10. The T stages based on final pathology were Tis(n=6), T1 a(n=2), T1 b(n=9), T2(n=26), and T3(n=4). Recurrence was detected in 11 patients over a median follow-up of 51 months. The disease-specific 5-year survival rate of these 47 patients was 68.8%, and rose to 85% for patients with a normal cancer antigen 19-9(CA19-9) level.Conclusions: The favorable long-term outcomes demonstrate the feasibility of combined CT/MRI and frozensection examination in the selection of patients with GBC confined to the gallbladder wall, confirm the oncologic safety of laparoscopic treatment in selected GBC patients, and favor measurement of preoperative CA19-9 in the selection of GBCs suitable for laparoscopic treatment.Lingfu Zhang Chunsheng Hou Zhi Xu Lixin Wang Xiaofeng Ling Dianrong Xiu 2018Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2018,30,1:6
9Joint Allocation of Wireless Resource and Computing Capability in MEC-Enabled Vehicular Network显示文摘In MEC-enabled vehicular network with limited wireless resource and computation resource,stringent delay and high reliability requirements are challenging issues.In order to reduce the total delay in the network as well as ensure the reliability of Vehicular UE(VUE),a Joint Allocation of Wireless resource and MEC Computing resource(JAWC)algorithm is proposed.The JAWC algorithm includes two steps:V2X links clustering and MEC computation resource scheduling.In the V2X links clustering,a Spectral Radius based Interference Cancellation scheme(SR-IC)is proposed to obtain the optimal resource allocation matrix.By converting the calculation of SINR into the calculation of matrix maximum row sum,the accumulated interference of VUE can be constrained and the the SINR calculation complexity can be effectively reduced.In the MEC computation resource scheduling,by transforming the original optimization problem into a convex problem,the optimal task offloading proportion of VUE and MEC computation resource allocation can be obtained.The simulation further demonstrates that the JAWC algorithm can significantly reduce the total delay as well as ensure the communication reliability of VUE in the MEC-enabled vehicular network.Yanzhao Hou Chengrui Wang Min Zhu Xiaodong Xu Xiaofeng Tao Xunchao Wu 2021China Communications2021,18,6:4
10NS1-binding protein radiosensitizes esophageal squamous cell carcinoma by transcriptionally suppressing c-Myc显示文摘Background:Cisplatin-based chemotherapy with concurrent radiotherapy is a standard treatment for advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).NS1-binding protein(NS1-BP),a member of the BTB-kelch protein fam-ily,has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of Hela cells by suppressing c-Myc.In the present study,we examined the potential function role of NS1-BP expression in ESCC,and particularly,the sensitivity of ESCC to radiotherapy.Methods:NS1-BP expression was examined using immunohistochemistry in two cohorts(n=98 for the training cohort;n=46 for independent validation cohort)of ESCC patients receiving cisplatin-based chemotherapy and con-current radiotherapy.Normal esophageal mucosal tissue blocks were used as a control.We also conducted a series of in vitro and in vivo experiments to examine the potential effects of over-expressing NS1-BP on ESCC cells,and particu-larly their sensitivity to ionizing irradiation.Results:In the training cohort,NS1-BP downregulation was observed in 59%(85/144)of the ESCC specimens.NS1-BP downregulation was associated with chemoradiotherapeutic resistance and shorter disease-specific survival(DSS)in both the training and validation cohorts.Over-expressing NS1-BP in cultured ESCC cells substantially increased the cellular response to irradiation both in vitro and in vivo.NS1-BP also significantly enhanced IR-induced apoptosis,and abrogated IR-induced G2/M cell-cycle arrest and ATM/Chk1 phosphorylation.Immunoprecipitation assays indicated that NS1-BP could interact with c-Myc promoter regions to inhibit its transcription.In ESCC tissues,c-Myc expression was inversely correlated with NS1-BP levels,and was associated with a shorter DSS.Conclusions:Our findings highlight the role and importance of NS1-BP in radiosensitivity of ESCC.Targeting the NS1-BP/c-Myc pathway may provide a novel therapeutic strategy for ESCC.Yuwen Wang Jingjing Cheng Dan Xie Xiaofeng Ding Hailing Hou Xi Chen Puchun Er Furong Zhang Lujun Zhao Zhiyong Yuan Qingsong Pang Ping Wang Dong Qian 2018Cancer Communications2018,38,1:4
11Numerical simulation of nonlinear propagation of sound waves in a finite horn显示文摘Nonlinear acoustic propagation generated by a piston in a finite horn is numerically studied.A quasi-one-dimensional nonlinear model with varying cross-section uses high-order low-dispersion numerical schemes to solve the governing equation.Because of the nonlinear wave distortion and reflected sound waves at the mouth,broadband time-domain impedance boundary conditions are employed.The impedance approximation can be optimized to identify the complex-conjugate pole-residue pairs of the impedance functions,which can be calculated by fast and efficient recursive convolution.The numerical results agree very well with experimental data in the situations of weak nonlinear wave propagation in an exponential horn,it is shown that the model can describe the broadband characteristics caused by nonlinear distortion.Moreover,finite-amplitude acoustic propagation in types of horns is simulated,including hyperbolic,conical,exponential and sinusoidal horns.It is found that sound pressure levels at the horn mouth are strongly affected by the horn profiles,the driving velocity and frequency of the piston.The paper also discusses the influence of the horn geometry on nonlinear waveform distortion.HOU Wei PAN Haoran SONG Weihua JING Xiaodong SUN Xiaofeng 2015Chinese Journal of Acoustics2015,34,2:4
12On the γ' precipitates of the normal and inverse Portevin-Le Chatelier effect in a wrought Ni-base superalloy显示文摘The Portevin-Le Chatelier(PLC) effects in a wrought Ni-base superalloy with different γ' precipitates contents have been investigated. Detailed analysis on the serration type of the tensile curves indicates that the γ' precipitates have a decisive influence on the transformation from normal to inverse PLC behavior, which is rarely proposed in other works. 13Predicting mobile users’behaviors and locations using dynamic Bayesian networks显示文摘This paper studies the traveling location prediction problem for detecting whether mobile users will leave their living area and where they will go.We investigate the hidden connections between users’behaviors in different locations and online social interactions.We combine dynamic Bayesian networks with a majority voting model which is based on social interaction information to estimate the users’behaviors and predict the locations.By analyzing Instagram media records,spanning a period of 3 months,we explore rarely visited locations,which are often ignored as noise in previous research.In comparison,our model,using Instagram data with two existing location prediction models,shows that(1)our location prediction is more accurate and robust in both the general location and the location outside the living area;(2)social relations are instrumental in the location prediction as social interaction information can increase the accuracy of the prediction.Jianrong Hou Hui Zhao Xiaofeng Zhao Jie Zhang 2016Journal of Management Analytics2016,3,3:3

16NS1结合蛋白通过转录抑制c-Myc增强食管鳞状细胞癌的放疗敏感性显示文摘背景与目的基于顺铂的化疗联合放疗是晚期食管鳞状细胞癌(esophageal squamous cell carcinoma,ESCC)的标准疗法。NS1结合蛋白(NS1-binding protein,NS1-BP)是BTB-kelch蛋白家族中的一员,已被证明可通过抑制c-Myc进而抑制HeLa细胞增殖。在本研究中,我们检测NS1-BP表达在ESCC中的潜在作用,特别是其在ESCC放疗敏感性方面的作用。方法对于两组接受基于顺铂化疗且联合放疗的ESCC患者(研究组n=98;验证组n=46),采用免疫组化方法分别检测NS1-BP表达。使用正常食管黏膜组织块作为对照。我们也进行了一系列体外和体内实验来检测过表达NS1-BP对ESCC细胞各方面的潜在影响,尤其关注的是对电离辐射的敏感性方面的影响。结果在研究组中,59%(85/144)的ESCC样本观察到了NS1-BP下调。在研究组和验证组中,NS1-BP下调与放化疗抵抗和较短的疾病特异生存期(disease-specific survival,DSS)均具有相关性。体内和体外培养条件下过表达NS1-BP均能大幅度提高ECSS细胞对放疗的敏感性。NS1-BP也显著增强IR诱导的凋亡,阻断IR诱导的G2/M细胞周期阻滞和ATM/Chk1磷酸化。免疫沉淀反应显示NS1-BP可以与c-Myc启动子区相互作用从而抑制其转录。在ESCC组织中,c-Myc表达与NS1-BP水平负相关,与较短的疾病特异生存期相关。结论我们的研究结果显示了NS1-BP在ESCC放疗敏感性中的作用和重要性。以NS1-BP/c-Myc通路为靶标有望开发一种新的ESCC治疗策略。Yuwen Wang Jingjing Cheng Dan Xie Xiaofeng Ding Hailing Hou Xi Chen Puchun Er Furong Zhang Lujun Zhao Zhiyong Yuan Qingsong Pang Ping Wang Dong Qian 2019癌症2019,38,2:2

18Amelioration of weld-crack resistance of the M951 superalloy by engineering grain boundaries显示文摘Fusion weld is a portable and economical joining and repairing method of metals.However,weld cracks often occur during the fusion weld of Ni-base superalloys,which hinder the applications of fusion weld on this kind of materials.In this work,the effects of microstructures of grain boundaries(GBs)of the prototype M951 superalloy on its weldability were investigated.The precipitated phases,the elemental segregations on GBs,and the morphologies of GBs can be largely altered by regulating the cooling rates of pre-weld heat treatments.With decreasing the cooling rate,chain-like M_(23)X_(6)phase precipitates along the GBs,accompanying segregations of B,and GBs becomes more serrated in morphology.During fusion weld,the engineered GBs in the M951 superalloy with a low cooling rate favor the formation of the continuous liquid films on GBs,which together with the serrated GB morphology significantly prevents the formation of weld cracks.Our findings imply that the weld-crack resistance of the superalloys can be ameliorated by engineering GBs.Mingyue Wen Yuan Sun Jinjiang Yu Shulin Yang Xingyu Hou Yanhong Yang Xiaofeng Sun Yi Zhou Zhou 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,19:2
19Resveratrol inhibits angiotensin II-induced ERK1/2 activation by downregulating quinone reductase 2 in rat vascular smooth muscle cells显示文摘Our previous studies showed that resveratrol could inhibit the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) and repress mRNA and protein expression of quinone reductase 2 (NQO2).This study further explored the potential mechanisms whereby resveratrol inhibits the proliferation of rat VSMCs.Lentiviral vectors that incorporated NQO2 small interfering RNA (siRNA) were constructed and transduced into rat VSMCs.The cell proliferation was detected using the bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) assay.Cultured rat VSMCs were stimulated with angiotensin II and the level of reactive oxygen species (ROS) was measured using a ROS assay kit.A realtime quantitative PCR was used to detect NQO2 mRNA levels.Extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK1/2) and NQO2 protein expression were determined by Western blotting analysis.The inhibitory effect of resveratrol (10 and 50 μmol/L) on the proliferation of rat VSMCs in the NQO2 siRNA group was significantly weaker than that in the normal and scrambled siRNA group (P < 0.01).The ROS level in the NQO2 siRNA and resveratrol (50 μmol/L) treatment groups were lower than that in the normal and scrambled siRNA groups (P < 0.01 in both).Compared with the normal and scrambled siRNA group,the phosphorylation of ERK1/2 was significantly decreased in the NQO2 siRNA and resveratrol (50 μmol/L) treatment group (P < 0.01 in both).In conclusion,high concentration of resveratrol inhibits angiotensin II-induced ERK1/2 phosphorylation and subsequent proliferation by down-regulation of NQO2 in cultured rat VSMCs.Xiwen Zhang Yao Wang Weiwei Yang Xiaofeng Hou Jiangang Zou Kejiang Cao 2012The Journal of Biomedical Research2012,26,2:2
