| 2 | ZIKA virus isolated from mosquitoes:a field and laboratory investigation in China,2016显示文摘A field investigation of arboviruses was conducted in Dejiang, Guizhou Province in the summer of 2016. A total of 8,795 mosquitoes, belonging to four species of three genera, and 1,300 midges were collected. The mosquito samples were identified on site according to their morphology, and the pooled samples were ground and centrifuged in the laboratory. The supernatant was incubated with mosquito tissue culture cells(C6/36) and mammalian cells(BHK-21) for virus isolation. The results indicated that 40%(3,540/8,795) were Anopheles sinensis, 30%(2,700/8,795) were Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus, and 29%(2,530/8,795)were Armigeres subbalbeatus. Furthermore, a total of eight virus isolates were obtained, and genome sequencing revealed two Zika viruses(ZIKVs) isolated from Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus and Armigeres subbalbeatus, respectively; three Japanese encephalitis viruses(JEVs) isolated from Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus; two Banna viruses(BAVs) isolated from Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus and Anopheles sinensis, respectively; and one densovirus(DNV) isolated from Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus.The ZIKVs isolated from the Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus and Armigeres subbalbeatus mosquitoes represent the first ZIKV isolates in China's Mainland. | 4 | Paleogene Tectonic Evolution Controls on Sequence Stratigraphic Patterns in the Central Part of Deepwater Area of Qiongdongnan Basin, Northern South China Sea显示文摘In active rift basins, tectonism is extremely important for sequence stratigraphic patterns, affecting both the sequence architecture and internal makeup. Sequence stratigraphic framework of a Paleogene rift succession in Qiongdongnan Basin, northern South China Sea, was built using seismic profiles, complemented by well logs and cores. One first-order and three second-order sequences were identified on the basis of basin-scale unconformities, and seven third-order sequences are defined by unconformities along the basin margins and correlative conformities within the central basin. Through unconformity analysis and backstripping procedure, the Paleogene synrift tectonic evolution of deepwater area of Qiongdongnan Basin was proved to be episodic, which can be divided into rifting stage-I, rifting stage-II and rifting stage-III. Episodic rifting resulted in the formation of various types of structural slope break belts, which controlled different architectures and internal makeup of sequences. | 5 | Review of Hydrogen Embrittlement in Metals: Hydrogen Diffusion, Hydrogen Characterization, Hydrogen Embrittlement Mechanism and Prevention显示文摘Hydrogen dissolved in metals as a result of internal and external hydrogen can affect the mechanical properties of the metals, principally through the interactions between hydrogen and material defects. Multiple phenomena such as hydrogen dissolution, hydrogen diffusion, hydrogen redistribution and hydrogen interactions with vacancies, dislocations, grain boundaries and other phase interfaces are involved in this process. Consequently, several hydrogen embrittlement(HE) mechanisms have been successively proposed to explain the HE phenomena, with the hydrogen-enhanced decohesion mechanism, hydrogenenhanced localized plasticity mechanism and hydrogen-enhanced strain-induced vacancies being some of the most important. Additionally, to reduce the risk of HE for engineering structural materials in service, surface treatments and microstructural optimization of the alloys have been suggested. In this review, we report on the progress of the studies on HE in metals, with a particular focus on steels. It focuses on four aspects:(1) hydrogen diffusion behavior;(2) hydrogen characterization methods;(3) HE mechanisms;and(4) the prevention of HE. | 6 | Real-time Tire Parameters Observer for Vehicle Dynamics Stability Control显示文摘The performance of the vehicle dynamics stability control system(DSC) is dominated by the accurate estimation of tire forces in real-time.The characteristics of tire forces are determined by tire dynamic states and parameters,which vary in an obviously large scope along with different working conditions.Currently,there have been many methods based on the nonlinear observer to estimate the tire force and dynamic parameters,but they were only used in off-line analysis because of the computation complexity and the dynamics differences of four tires in the steering maneuver conditions were not considered properly.This paper develops a novel algorithm to observe tire parameters in real-time controller for DSC.The algorithm is based on the sensor-fusion technology with the signals of DSC sensors,and the tire parameters are estimated during a set of maneuver courses.The calibrated tire parameters in the control cycle are treated as the elementary states for vehicle dynamics observation,in which the errors between the calculated and the measured vehicle dynamics are used as the correcting factors for the tire parameter observing process.The test process with a given acceleration following a straight line is used to validate the estimation method of the longitudinal stiffness;while the test process with a given steering angle is used to validate the estimated value of the cornering stiffness.The ground test result shows that the proposed algorithm can estimate the tire stiffness accurately with an acceptable computation cost for real-time controller only using DSC sensor signal.The proposed algorithm can be an efficient algorithm for estimating the tire dynamic parameters in vehicle dynamics stability control system,and can be used to improve the robustness of the DSC controller. | LI Liang LI Hongzhi ZHANG Xiaolong HE Lin SONG Jian | 2010 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2010,23,5: | 10 |
| 7 | Genome sequencing and phylogenetic analysis of Banna virus(genus Seadornavirus,family Reoviridae)isolated from Culicoides显示文摘In an investigation of blood-sucking insects and arboviruses, a virus(YN12243) was isolated from Culicoides samples collected in the Sino-Burmese border region of Yunnan Province, China. The virus caused cytopathic effect(CPE) in C6/36 cells and passaged stably. Polyacrylamide gel analysis showed that the genome of YN12243 was composed of 12 segments of double-stranded RNA(dsRNA), with a distribution pattern of 6-6. The nucleotide and amino acid sequences of the coding region(1.12 segments) were17,803 bp and 5,925 amino acids in length, respectively. The phylogenetic analysis of VP1 protein(RdRp) revealed that YN12243 belonged to genus Seadornavirus of family Reoviridae, and further analysis indicated that YN12243 belongs to the Banna virus(BAV) genotype A2. Additionally, YN12243 was located in the same evolutionary cluster as BAV strains isolated from different mosquito species, suggesting that the BAV isolated from Culicoides does not have species barriers. These results indicate that Culicoides can also be a vector for BAV. | 10 | Photocatalytic properties of hierarchical BiOXs obtained via an ethanol-assisted solvothermal process显示文摘In this study, bismuth oxyhalide(Bi OXs(X_Cl, Br, I)) semiconductors were prepared by a simple solvothermal method, with ethanol serving as solvent and a series of tetrabutylammonium halide surfactants as halogen sources. Under identical synthetic conditions, Bi OBr was more readily constructed into regular flower-like hierarchical architectures. The photocatalytic properties of the materials were studied by monitoring the degradation of rhodamine B(Rh B),with visible light absorption, and colorless salicylic acid(SA). It was found that both Rh B and SA were rapidly degraded on the surface of Bi OBr. Bi OCl was rather active for the degradation of Rh B,but ineffective toward the degradation of SA. However, neither Rh B nor SA could be degraded effectively in the case of Bi OI. | 14 | Cursor caging:enhancing focus targeting in interactive fisheye views显示文摘Fisheye view is an effective approach to visualizing and navigating large data sets by offering both local details and global context in the same view.However,by using different magnification factors for detail and context information,fisheye view also leads to new usability issues,one of which is the focus targeting difficulty.This challenge happens when a user tries to select a target to either shift the focus to a new place or chooses the target.Because of the magnification factors applied to the fisheye view,the target moves when the cursor moves,and consequently,the moving distance the cursor actually needs to travel to reach the target does not match the distance between the cursor and target shown on the screen.Task accuracy and efficiency can be affected.This paper analyzes the mechanism of this difficulty and proposes a new technique,cursor caging,as a method to alleviate the focus targeting difficulty in interactive fisheye views.This technique extends the fisheye magnification approach from one element to a focal region,which can contain several elements,and allows the mouse cursor to move freely inside this region without affecting the magnification of objects inside the focal region.In addition to the mathematical representation of this technique,we also develop two designs that incorporate the cursor caging concept in fisheye views,and describe a usability study on the technique.Our results showed that cursor caging can significantly improve the task completion time and reduce the error rate in focusing targeting tasks. | SONG HongZhi FU Yi ZHANG Liang ZHANG XiaoLong(Luke) | 2013 | Science China(Information Sciences)2013,56,5: | 3 |
| 15 | Anal swab findings in an infant with COVID-19显示文摘Introduction: The transmission pathways of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) remain not completely clear. In this case study the test for the novel severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in pharyngeal swab and anal swab were compared.Case presentation: A 3-month-old girl was admitted to our hospital with COVID-19. Her parents had both been diagnosed with COVID-19. The results of pharyngeal swab and anal swab of the little girl were recorded and compared during the course of the disease. The oropharyngeal specimen showed negative result for SARS-CoV-2 on the 14th day after onset of the illness. However, the anal swab was still positive for SARS-CoV-2 on the 28th day after the onset of the illness.Conclusion: The possibility of fecal-oral transmission of COVID-19 should be assessed. | 16 | Experimental Model and Analytic Solution for Real-time Observation of Vehicle's Additional Steer Angle显示文摘The current research of real-time observation for vehicle roll steer angle and compliance steer angle(both of them comprehensively referred as the additional steer angle in this paper) mainly employs the linear vehicle dynamic model, in which only the lateral acceleration of vehicle body is considered. The observation accuracy resorting to this method cannot meet the requirements of vehicle real-time stability control, especially under extreme driving conditions. The paper explores the solution resorting to experimental method. Firstly, a multi-body dynamic model of a passenger car is built based on the ADAMS/Car software, whose dynamic accuracy is verified by the same vehicle's roadway test data of steady static circular test. Based on this simulation platform, several influencing factors of additional steer angle under different driving conditions are quantitatively analyzed. Then ε-SVR algorithm is employed to build the additional steer angle prediction model, whose input vectors mainly include the sensor information of standard electronic stability control system(ESC). The method of typical slalom tests and FMVSS 126 tests are adopted to make simulation, train model and test model's generalization performance. The test result shows that the influence of lateral acceleration on additional steer angle is maximal(the magnitude up to 1°), followed by the longitudinal acceleration-deceleration and the road wave amplitude(the magnitude up to 0.3°). Moreover, both the prediction accuracy and the calculation real-time of the model can meet the control requirements of ESC. | 17 | Optimum Operating and Regeneration Parameters of ZnI2 Catalyst for Converting Methanol to Triptane:An Ideal Component of Unleaded Aviation Gasoline显示文摘Conversion of methanol(MeOH) to 2,2,3-trimethylbutane(triptane) over zinc iodide(ZnI_2)catalyst was investigated in a closed batch reactor.Optimum operating parameters were searched and catalyst deactivation and regeneration behaviors were discussed.The fresh,spent and regenerated catalysts were characterized by XRD,TG and XRF measurements to elucidate the related mechanism.The experimental results showed that the triptane yield reached up to 12.2% under the process conditions,including a reaction temperature of 200℃,an initial pressure of 0.35 MPa,a reaction time of 2 h,and a Me OH to ZnI_2 molar ratio of 2.The catalyst was gradually deactivated after several run cycles.A small amount of iodine was lost and a certain amount of ZnO was formed on the deactivated ZnI_2 catalyst.Deactivation of the catalyst could be attributed to the reduction of ZnI_2 amount,resulted from iodine loss and formation of Zn O.It was firstly pointed out from our work that the deactivated catalyst could be well regenerated by the hydrogen iodide(HI) and the tert-butanol compensation method,wherein the latter was added as an initiator into the reaction system.The activity recovery of the deactivated(spent) catalyst might be related to the reformation of ZnI_2 and acceleration of the initiation step of this reaction. | Chen Weiwei Song Yueqin Zong Rui Du Changfei Zhou Xiaolong Li Chenglie | 2018 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2018,20,2: | 3 |

| 19 | B cell-derived anti-beta 2 glycoprotein I antibody mediates hyperhomocysteinemia-aggravated hypertensive glomerular lesions by triggering ferroptosis显示文摘Hyperhomocysteinemia(HHcy)is a risk factor for chronic kidney diseases(CKDs)that affects about 85%CKD patients.HHcy stimulates B cells to secrete pathological antibodies,although it is unknown whether this pathway mediates kidney injury.In HHcytreated 2-kidney,1-clip(2K1C)hypertensive murine model,HHcy-activated B cells secreted anti-beta 2 glycoprotein I(β2GPI)antibodies that deposited in glomerular endothelial cells(GECs),exacerbating glomerulosclerosis and reducing renal function.Mechanistically,HHcy 2K1C mice increased phosphatidylethanolamine(PE)(18:0/20:4,18:0/22:6,16:0/20:4)in kidney tissue,as determined by lipidomics.GECs oxidative lipidomics validated the increase of oxidized phospholipids upon Hcy-activated B cells culture medium(Hcy-B CM)treatment,including PE(18:0/20:4+3[O],PE(18:0a/22:4+1[O],PE(18:0/22:4+2[O]and PE(18:0/22:4+3[O]).PE synthases ethanolamine kinase 2(etnk2)and ethanolamine-phosphate cytidylyltransferase 2(pcyt2)were increased in the kidney GECs of HHcy 2K1C mice and facilitated polyunsaturated PE synthesis to act as lipid peroxidation substrates.In HHcy 2K1C mice and Hcy-B CM-treated GECs,the oxidative environment induced by iron accumulation and the insufficient clearance of lipid peroxides caused by transferrin receptor(TFR)elevation and down-regulation of SLC7A11/glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4)contributed to GECs ferroptosis of the kidneys.In vivo,pharmacological depletion of B cells or inhibition of ferroptosis mitigated the HHcy-aggravated hypertensive renal injury.Consequently,our findings uncovered a novel mechanism by which B cell-derived pathogenic anti-β2GPI IgG generated by HHcy exacerbated hypertensive kidney damage by inducing GECs ferroptosis.Targeting B cells or ferroptosis may be viable therapeutic strategies for ameliorating lipid peroxidative renal injury in HHcy patients with hypertensive nephropathy. | Xing Du Xiaolong Ma Ying Tan Fangyu Shao Chun Li Yang Zhao Yutong Miao Lulu Han Guohui Dang Yuwei Song Dongmin Yang Zhenling Deng Yue Wang Changtao Jiang Wei Kong Juan Feng Xian Wang | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4: | 2 |
