| 1 | Transplantation of collagen scaffold with autologous bone marrow mononuclear cells promotes functional endometrium reconstruction via downregulating ΔNp63 expression in Asherman's syndrome显示文摘Asherman's syndrome(AS) is a common disease that presents endometrial regeneration disorder. However, little is known about its molecular features of this aregenerative endometrium in AS and how to reconstruct the functioning endometrium for the patients with AS. Here, we report that ΔNp63 is significantly upregulated in residual epithelial cells of the impaired endometrium in AS; the upregulated-ΔNp63 induces endometrial quiescence and alteration of stemness. Importantly, we demonstrate that engrafting high density of autologous bone marrow mononuclear cells(BMNCs) loaded in collagen scaffold onto the uterine lining of patients with AS downregulates ΔNp63 expression, reverses ΔNp63-induced pathological changes, normalizes the stemness alterations and restores endometrial regeneration. Finally, five patients achieved successful pregnancies and live births. Therefore, we conclude that ΔNp63 is a crucial therapeutic target for AS. | 5 | Au-Ag alloy nanoparticles with tunable cavity for plasmon-enhanced photocatalytic H2 evolution显示文摘Au-Ag alloy nanoparticles with different cavity sizes have great potential for improving photocatalytic performance due to their tunable plasmon effect.In this study,galvanic replacement was combined with co-reduction with the reaction kinetics processes regulated to rapidly synthesize Au-Ag hollow alloy nanoparticles with tunable cavity sizes.The position of the localized surface plasmon resonance(LSPR)peak could be effectively adjusted between 490 nm and 713 nm by decreasing the cavity size of the Au-Ag hollow nanoparticles from 35 nm to 20 nm.The plasmon-enhanced photocatalytic H2 evolution of alloy nanoparticles with different cavity sizes was investigated.Compared with pure P25(TiO2),intact and thin-shelled Au-Ag hollow nanoparticles(HNPs)-supported photocatalyst exhibited an increase in the photocatalytic H2 evolution rate from 0.48μmol h^−1 to 4μmol h^−1 under full-spectrum irradiation.This improved photocatalytic performance was likely due to the plasmon-induced electromagnetic field effect,which caused strong photogenerated charge separation,rather than the generation of hot electrons. | Xuanyu Yue Juan Hou Haifeng Zhao Pengcheng Wu Yali Guo Qin Shi Long Chen Shanglong Peng Zhiyong Liu Guozhong Cao | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,10: | 4 |

| 7 | Dark current mechanism of unpassivated mid wavelength type II InAs/GaSb superlattice infrared photodetector显示文摘We investigate the dark current mechanism for an unpassivated mid wavelength(MW) type II InAs/GaSb superlattice infrared photodetector by doing the variablearea diode tests. The bulk resistance-area product and the resistivity due to the surface current are determined to be17.72 X cm2 and 704.23 X cm at 77 K, respectively. It is found that for all the mesa sizes used, the dark current is dominated or predominated by the surface component, and with scaling back the mesa size, the surface current increases while the bulk component decreases. The activation energy is determined to be 145 meV for the temperature range around 140–280 K, while it is 6 meV when temperature is below 100 K. | 8 | Development and Application of a Regional Land Subsidence Model for the Plain of Tianjin显示文摘In this paper, a coupled numerical groundwater and land subsidence model was developed for the Tianjin Plain. The model was employed to investigate the groundwater resources and their changes over the last decade, and to further predict the changing patterns of the groundwater level and associated land subsidence in future. First, according to the regional hydrogeology, the simulation area was defined with an area of 10.6×103 km2, which was divided into six aquifer units. A coupled groundwater and land subsidence numerical model was built by using Modflow2005 and the land subsidence simulation module SUB(subsidence and aquifer-system compaction), in which the groundwater flow was modeled as three-dimensional unsteady flow and the land subsidence simulation was based on one-dimensional consolidation theory. The model was then calibrated by using the groundwater level contour lines, hydrographs, and land subsidence hydrographs over the period of 1998–2008. In addition, groundwater balance analysis of the simulation period indicated that under multi-year groundwater withdrawal condition the cross-flow recharge, compression release, and lateral boundary inflow contributed 44.43%, 32.14%, and 21.88% to the deep aquifer recharge, respectively. Finally, the model was applied to predict the changing patterns of the groundwater levels and the associated variations in land subsidence under the control of groundwater exploitation after implementation of the south-to-north water diversion project. | 13 | RNA-binding protein ZCCHC4 promotes human cancer chemoresistance by disrupting DNA-damage-induced apoptosis显示文摘RNA-binding proteins(RBPs)play important roles in cancer development and treatment.However,the tumor-promoting RBPs and their partners,which may potentially serve as the cancer therapeutic targets,need to be further identified.Here,we report that zinc finger CCHC domain-containing protein 4(ZCCHC4)is of aberrantly high expression in multiple human cancer tissues and is associated with poor prognosis and chemoresistance in patients of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),pancreatic cancer and colon cancer.ZCCHC4 promotes chemoresistance of HCC cells to DNA-damage agent(DDA)both in vitro and in vivo.HCC cell deficiency of ZCCHC4 reduces tumor growth in vivo and intratumoral interference of ZCCHC4 expression obviously enhances the DDAinduced antitumor effect.Mechanistically,ZCCHC4 inhibits DNA-damage-induced apoptosis in HCC cells by interacting with a new long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)AL133467.2 to hamper its pro-apoptotic function.Also,ZCCHC4 blocks the interaction between AL133467.2 andγH2AX upon DDA treatment to inhibit apoptotic signaling and promote chemoresistance to DDAs.Knockout of ZCCHC4 promotes AL133467.2 andγH2AX interaction for enhancing chemosensitivity in HCC cells.Together,our study identifies ZCCHC4 as a new predictor of cancer poor prognosis and a potential target for improving chemotherapy effects,providing mechanistic insights to the roles of RBPs and their partners in cancer progression and chemoresistance. | Ha Zhu Kun Chen Yali Chen Juan Liu Xiaomin Zhang Yumei Zhou Qiuyan Liu Bingjing Wang Taoyong Chen Xuetao Cao | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,8: | 1 |
