| 1 | Temperature and substrate availability regulate soil respiration in the tropical mountain rainforests,Hainan Island,China显示文摘Aims Tropical forest plays a key role in global C cycle;however,there are few studies on the C budget in the tropical rainforests in Asia.This study aims to(i)reveal the seasonal patterns of total soil respiration(R_(T)),litter respiration(R_(L))and soil respiration without surface organic litter(R_(NL))in the primary and secondary Asian tropical mountain rainforests and(ii)quantify the effects of soil temperature,soil moisture and substrate availability on soil respiration.Methods The seasonal dynamics of soil CO_(2) efflux was measured by an automatic chamber system(Li-8100),within the primary and secondary tropical mountain rainforests located at the Jianfengling National Reserve in Hainan Island,China.The litter removal treatment was used to assess the contribution of litter to belowground CO_(2) production.Important Findings The annual R_(T) was higher in the primary forest(16.73±0.87 Mg C ha−1)than in the secondary forest(15.10±0.26 Mg C ha−1).The rates of R_(T),R_(NL) and R_(L) were all significantly higher in the hot and wet season(May–October)than those in the cool and dry season(November–April).Soil temperature at 5cm depth could explain 55–61%of the seasonal variation in R_(T),and the temperature sensitivity index(Q_(10))ranked by R_(L)(Q_(10)=3.39)>R_(T)(2.17)>R_(NL)(1.76)in the primary forest and by R_(L)(4.31)>R_(T)(1.86)>R_(NL)(1.58)in the secondary forest.The contribution of R_(L) to R_(T) was 22–23%,while litter input and R_(T) had 1 month time lag.In addition,the seasonal variation of R_(T) was mainly determined by soil temperature and substrate availability.Our findings suggested that global warming and increased substrate availability are likely to cause considerable losses of soil C in the tropical forests. | Zhang Zhou Lai Jiang Enzai Du Huifeng Hu Yide Li Dexiang Chen Jingyun Fang | 2013 | Journal of Plant Ecology2013,6,5: | 8 |

| 5 | Review:Recent Advancement of Experimental and Numerical Investigations for Breaking Waves显示文摘Breaking wave is a complex physical phenomenon that takes place at the gas fluid interface which is the chief reason for the generation of two phase turbulence wave energy dissipation and mass transfer between air and water. For marine hydrodynamics the breaking bow wave of high speed vessels induces the bubble mixed flow travelling around the ship eventually developing to be the turbulent wake which is easy to be detected by photoelectric equipment. Besides the flow induced noise stemming from wave plunging may weaken the acoustic stealth of water surface craft. In the oceanographic physics context wave breaking accounts for the energy and mass exchange of the ocean atmosphere system which has a great effect on the weather forecasts and global climate predictions. Due to multi scale properties of multiphase turbulent flows a wide range of time and length scales should be resolved making it rather complicated for experimental and numerical investigations. In early reviews[1-4] general mechanisms related to wave breaking problems are well described. However previous emphasis lies on the phenomenological characteristics of breaking wave. | 7 | Bmil基因表达抑制对肺腺癌干细胞自我更新、增殖作用的初步研究(英文)显示文摘Objective: The aim of the study was to observe the effect of Bmi1 reduction on the self-renewal and tumorigenicity ability of lung cancer stem cells (LCSCs) in human lung adenocarcinoma. Methods: Human lung adenocarcinoma cells A549 were consecutively passaged in NOD/SCID mice treated with Paclitaxel weekly. The proportions of LCSCs in A549 cells and the cells from the third passage (A549-3rd) were compared. The expression of Bmi1 in LCSCs was silenced by intratumoral injection with lentivirus-delivered Bmi1 small hairpin RNA (shRNA). RT-PCR and Western blot were used to test the mRNA and protein expressions of Bmi1 in LCSCs. The protein level of p16INK4A was analyzed by Western blotting. The self-renewal and tumorigenicity ability of LCSCs were evaluated by counting the sphere formation rate in serum-free medium and the tumor formation rate in NOD/SCID mice. Results: In vivo passaging of A549 cells under chemotherapy pressure enriched for LCSCs. The expression of Bmi1 in LCSCs increased. Down-regulation of Bmi1 by RNA interference resulted in reduced self-renewal and tumorigenicity ability of LCSCs and paralleled the increased expression of p16INK4A, a Bmi1 target. | 8 | YSO coded aperture camera based on depth of interaction for location correction显示文摘Purpose Coded aperture imaging was a widely used imaging method for radiation sources.However,the traditional gamma camera based on two-dimensional projection information for coded aperture imaging ignored the influence of the interaction depth of particles and detectors on the projection information,which reduced the imaging quality of the camera to some extent.Therefore,a method of correcting the coded gamma camera based on the interaction depth of particles and detectors is proposed to improve the location accuracy of detectors.Methods The camera developed in this work uses a 7×7 YSO crystal array coupled with two 7×7 Si-PM arrays.The crystal is evenly divided into 11 parts in the depth direction,with a voxel size of 3×3×3 mm3.The coded mask is a 13×13 array,which is a mosaic of two cycles of 7×7 modified uniformly redundant array mask.The depth resolution of the detector is obtained via the subsurface laser engraving dual-end readout method.After obtaining the three-dimensional position information of the interaction point the projection information obtained by the detector is layered,and the image is reconstructed.According to the spatial position information of the detector and the coded mask,the corresponding field of view of each layer of the detector is calculated,and the reconstructed image of each layer is amplified and superimposed according to the ratio of the field of view to obtain the reconstructed image combined with the depth information.Results and conclusion According to Monte Carlo simulation and radiation source imaging experiment results,this method can effectively improve the positioning ability of the detector.For the experimental scenario mentioned in the paper,the location accuracy can be improved by up to 1.54°. | Yiding Han Xiaopan Jiang Haohui Tang Xiuzuo Liang Xuanhou Hu Xianchao Huang Zhiming Zhang Lei Shuai Jing Guo Long Wei | 2023 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2023,7,4: | 0 |

[Methods]Loaches were put into the acetochlor solution with concentrations of 0,0. 062 5,0. 125,0. 25,0. 5 and 1 μl/L,respectively. The effects on dismutase( SOD),peroxidase( POD),catalase( CAT) and glutathione( GSH) activity and malondialdehyde( MDA) content in the liver of loaches were analyzed after 12,24,48 and 72 h of exposure. [Results] The activity of SOD,POD,CAT and GSH increased with the stress time and concentration,reached their maximums at 48 h after acetochlor treatment,and then decreased.However,MDA content increased with the stress time and concentration. | 13 | 去甲苔藓蒽噻吩抑制血管生成作用的体外实验研究(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of Demethyl bryoanthrathiophene(DBT) on proliferations of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs) and human lung adenocarcinoma cell line A549,and antiangiogenic effect of DBT on HUVECs in vitro.Methods:MTT assay was used to observe the effect of DBT on proliferations of HUVECs and A549 cells,flat plate scarification assay and tube formation in vitro test were used to observe the impact of DBT on migration and vaso-formed ability of HUVECs.The effects of DBT on apoptosis and cell cycle of HUVECs were calculated by flow cytometry.Results:MTT assay showed that treatment with DBT resulted in strong inhibition to the growth of HUVECs and A549 cells.The inhibition effects of DBT on HUVECs and A549 cells were related to dosage and times of dependency.In different doses of DBT(0.16,0.32 and 0.48 μmol/L) of flat plate scarification for 24 h,inhibition rates of DBT to migration of HUVECs were 14.70%,38.23% and 58.82%,respectively.In dose of DBT from 0.04,0.20 to 0.40 μmol/L for 24 h in tube formation,there were significance differences(P < 0.01) in the decreasing number of angiogenesis and incomplete blood vessel compared with control groups.All results showed that DBT promoted the apoptosis rate of HUVECs,and the increase of concentration of DBT accompanied the acceleration of apoptosis rate.Conclusion:DBT could inhibit the proliferations of HUVECs and A549 cells,and effectively suppress angiogenesis in vitro. | Chen Zhong Xiangdong Zhou Minghui Zhang Yide Hu | 2011 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2011,10,2: | 0 |
