1Investigation of Surface Damage in Forming of High Strength and Galvanized Steel Sheets显示文摘Powdering/exfoliating of coatings and scratching are the main forms of surface damage in the forming of galvanized steels and high strength steels (HSS), which result in increased die maintenance cost and scrap rate. In this study, a special rectangular box was developed to investigate the behavior and characteristics of surface damage in sheet metal forming (SMF) processes. U-channel forming tests were conducted to study the effect of tool hardness on surface damage in the forming of high strength steels and galvanized steels (hot-dip galvanized and galvannealed steels). Experimental results indicate that sheet deformation mode influences the severity of surface damage in SMF and surface damage occurs easily at the regions where sheet specimen deforms under the action of compressive stress. Die corner is the position where surface damage initiates. For HSS sheet, surface damage is of major interest due to high forming pressure. The HSS and hot-dip galvanized steels show improved ability of damage-resistance with increased hardness of the forming tool. 3First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. 5Effects of breeding success,age and sex on breeding dispersal of a reintroduced population of the Crested Ibis(Nipponia nippon)in Ningshan County,China显示文摘Background: Breeding dispersal is an important ecological process that affects species' population dynamics and colonization of new suitable areas. Knowledge of the causes and consequences of breeding dispersal is fundamental to our understanding of avian ecology and evolution. Although breeding success for a wild and reintroduced population of the Crested Ibis(Nipponia nippon) has been reported, the relationships between individuals' breeding dispersal and their breeding success, age and sex remain unclear.Methods: Ibises' breeding dispersal distance, which is the distance moved by adults between sites of reproduction, was estimated based on the observations of consecutive breeding sites of marked ibis individuals. From observational and capture-recapture data(n as = 102) over 9 years, individuals' breeding dispersal probability in relation to age, sex, and reproductive success wanalyzed via a generalized linear mixed effect modeling approach.Results: Our results show that 55% males and 51% females keep their previous territories following nesting success. Failed breeding attempts increased dispersal probabilities. Both females and males failed in breeding were more likely to disperse with greater distances than successful birds(females: 825 ± 216 m vs 196 ± 101 m, males: 372 Crested Ibis exhibited a female-biased dispersal pattern that the mean dispersal distance± 164 m vs 210 ± 127 m). of females(435 ± 234 m) was much larger than that of males(294 ± 172 m).Conclusion: Our results are fundamental to predict the patterns of breeding dispersal related to reproductive success under different release sites. 6Can we reestablish a self-sustaining population?A case study on reintroduced Crested Ibis with population viability analysis显示文摘Background:One of the most challenging tasks in wildlife conservation and management is clarifying which and how external and intrinsic factors influence wildlife demography and long-term viability.The wild population of the Crested Ibis(Nipponia nippon)has recovered to approximately 4400,and several reintroduction programs have been carried out in China,Japan and Korea.Population viability analysis on this endangered species has been limited to the wild population,showing that the long-term population growth is restricted by the carrying capacity and inbreeding.However,gaps in knowledge of the viability of the reintroduced population and its drivers in the release environment impede the identification of the most effective population-level priorities for aiding in species recovery.Methods:The field monitoring data were collected from a reintroduced Crested Ibis population in Ningshan,China from 2007 to 2018.An individual-based VORTEX model(Version 10.3.5.0)was used to predict the future viability of the reintroduced population by incorporating adaptive patterns of ibis movement in relation to catastrophe frequency,mortality and sex ratio.Results:The reintroduced population in Ningshan County is unlikely to go extinct in the next 50 years.The popula-tion size was estimated to be 367,and the population genetic diversity was estimated to be 0.97.Sensitivity analysis showed that population size and extinction probability were dependent on the carrying capacity and sex ratio.The carrying capacity is the main factor accounting for the population size and genetic diversity,while the sex ratio is the primary factor responsible for the population growth trend.Conclusions:A viable population of the Crested Ibis can be established according to population viability analysis.Based on our results,conservation management should prioritize a balanced sex ratio,high-quality habitat and low mortality.Yashuai Zhan Fang Wang Zhenxia Cui Min Li Xia Li Xinping Ye Xiaoping Yu 2021Avian Research2021,12,2:2

10Study on Ocular Torsion of V Patterns Strabismus显示文摘Purpose: To investigate the ocular torsion of V patterns.Methods:Twenty-two in hospital V patterns patients underwent bilateral inferior obliquemuscles myectomy for inferior oblique overacting and hortizon recti underwent recessresection procedure to correct hortizon devation. Objective cycloposition was assessed by fundus photograph before and 7 days after surgery in all cases. The photographs was stored in computer, and the disc-fovea angle was measured by means of drawing picture software. As well as the deviation, oblique muscle function was recorded before and after surgery.Result: Seventeen cases were bilateral ocular excyclotropia, 4 cases were monocular excyclotropia and one case was normal.The disc-fovea angle of right eyes and left eyes before operation is 15.67°+5.72° and 16.59°+6.69°.The comparisons among V patterns and normal average showed significant differences ( P < 0.001). The disc-fovea angle of right eyes and left eyes after operation is 5.24°+5.87° and 7.17°+5.40°. 13Addition of peroxiredoxin 6 (PRDX6) to IVF fertilization medium maintains motility and longevity of human spermatozoa显示文摘This study aims to investigate the protective effects of peroxiredoxin 6 on the total motility and progressive motility of human spermatozoa.Semen samples with normal parameters were collected from 23 males and supplemented with different concentrations of peroxiredoxin 6.All the semen samples were measured according to the WHO 5th manual,and the motile spermatozoa were extracted using IVF fertilization medium supplemented with different peroxiredoxin 6 concentrations.Total motility and progressive motility were observed at different time-points of culture at room temperature.After peroxiredoxin 6 supplementation,all groups had a significant increase in total motility and progressive motility compared to the control group.The difference in total motility and progressive motility between the 0 and 10−7 mM groups was observed at 24 and 48 h of culture at room temperature.At 24 h,the total motility increased by 30%in the control group(16.03±11.91 vs.11.51±7.84),and progressive motility increased by 21%(10.53±9.4 vs.8.31±6.04).A similar trend was observed in the 48 h group.In addition,we also found that peroxiredoxin 6 had a well protective effect on sperm kinetic parameters at 10−7 mM.The findings of this study suggest that peroxiredoxin 6 can enhance sperm total motility and progressive motility in IVF fertilization medium.Peroxiredoxin 6 may have potential benefits for sperm preparation in assisted reproductive technology.TIECHENG SUN YANDONG ZHANG JIANHUA LI HONG YU LINGLI SONG XINPING SUN XI CHEN LI TIAN 2021BIOCELL2021,45,3:1
14Linking the past and present to predict the distribution of Asian crested ibis(Nipponia nippon)under global changes显示文摘Understanding how species’ecological niches adapt to environmental changes through time is critical for predicting the effect of future global change on endangered species.Yet few studies have incorporated knowledge of past niche shifting into the assessment of species’future fate in a changing world.In this study,we integrated the ecological niche dynamics into the species distribution modeling of the Asian crested ibis(Nipponia nippon)in East Asia.Specifically,we compared historical and present ecological niches of crested ibis in four-dimensional environmental space based on species occurrence and environmental data.We then employed a multi-temporal ecological niche model to estimate the potential geographical distribution of crested ibis under future climate and land-use changes.Our results show that crested ibis retained similar though not identical ecological niches over time.Compared to the historical baseline range,the current suitable habitat for crested ibis has been reduced by 39.6%.The effects of human activity outweigh those of climate change regarding the distribution of crested ibis.We conclude that the ecological niche of crested ibis was tended to be conservative,and future potentially suitable habitat may encounter northeastward and northwestward shift,and possibly expand by 18.7%referred to the historical range.Thefindings of our study are of clear importance for the conservation and successful reintroduction of crested ibis in East Asia.Fangyuan YU Yiwen SUN Tiejun WANG Andrew KSKIDMORE Changqing DING Xinping YE 2022Integrative Zoology2022,17,6:1

17Remote Sensing Image Classification Algorithm Based on Texture Feature and Extreme Learning Machine显示文摘With the development of satellite technology,the satellite imagery of the earth’s surface and the whole surface makes it possible to survey surface resources and master the dynamic changes of the earth with high efficiency and low consumption.As an important tool for satellite remote sensing image processing,remote sensing image classification has become a hot topic.According to the natural texture characteristics of remote sensing images,this paper combines different texture features with the Extreme Learning Machine,and proposes a new remote sensing image classification algorithm.The experimental tests are carried out through the standard test dataset SAT-4 and SAT-6.Our results show that the proposed method is a simpler and more efficient remote sensing image classification algorithm.It also achieves 99.434%recognition accuracy on SAT-4,which is 1.5%higher than the 97.95%accuracy achieved by DeepSat.At the same time,the recognition accuracy of SAT-6 reaches 99.5728%,which is 5.6%higher than DeepSat’s 93.9%.Xiangchun Liu Jing Yu Wei Song Xinping Zhang Lizhi Zhao Antai Wang 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,11:1

19Perfluorooctyl bromide nanoemulsions holding MnO_(2) nanoparticles with dual-modality imaging and glutathione depletion enhanced HIFU-eliciting tumor immunogenic cell death显示文摘Tumor-targeted immunotherapy is a remarkable breakthrough,offering the inimitable advantage of specific tumoricidal effects with reduced immune-associated cytotoxicity.However,existing platforms suffer from low efficacy,inability to induce strong immunogenic cell death(ICD),and restrained capacity of transforming immune-deserted tumors into immune-cultivated ones.Here,an innovative platform,perfluorooctyl bromide(PFOB)nanoemulsions holding MnO_(2) nanoparticles(MBP),was developed to orchestrate cancer immunotherapy,serving as a theranostic nanoagent for MRI/CT dual-modality imaging and advanced ICD.By simultaneously depleting the GSH and eliciting the ICD effect via highintensity focused ultrasound(HIFU)therapy,the MBP nanomedicine can regulate the tumor immune microenvironment by inducing maturation of dendritic cells(DCs)and facilitating the activation of CD8^(+)and CD4^(+)T cells.The synergistic GSH depletion and HIFU ablation also amplify the inhibition of tumor growth and lung metastasis.Together,these findings inaugurate a new strategy of tumor-targeted immunotherapy,realizing a novel therapeutics paradigm with great clinical significance.Xinping Kuai Yuefei Zhu Zheng Yuan Shengyu Wang Lin Lin Xiaodan Ye Yiping Lu Yu Luo Zhiqing Pang Daoying Geng Bo Yin 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,2:1
20Organ-on-a-chip platforms for accelerating the evaluation of nanomedicine显示文摘Nanomedicine involves the use of engineered nanoscale materials in an extensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic applications and can be applied to the treatment of many diseases.Despite the rapid progress and tremendous potential of nanomedicine in the past decades,the clinical translational process is still quite slow,owing to the difficulty in understanding,evaluating,and predicting nanomaterial behaviors within the complex environment of human beings.Microfluidics-based organ-on-a-chip(Organ Chip)techniques offer a promising way to resolve these challenges.Sophisticatedly designed Organ Chip enable in vitro simulation of the in vivo microenvironments,thus providing robust platforms for evaluating nanomedicine.Herein,we review recent developments and achievements in Organ Chip models for nanomedicine evaluations,categorized into seven broad sections based on the target organ systems:respiratory,digestive,lymphatic,excretory,nervous,and vascular,as well as coverage on applications relating to cancer.We conclude by providing our perspectives on the challenges and potential future directions for applications of Organ Chip in nanomedicine.Xi Chen Yu Shrike Zhang Xinping Zhang Changsheng Liu 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,4:1
