| 1 | Clinical analysis of 275 cases of acute drug-induced liver disease显示文摘In order to analyze the causative drugs,clinical manifestation and pathological characteristics of the patients with acute drug-induced liver disease,from January 2000 to December 2005,275 cases diagnosed as acute druginduced liver diseases according to Maria Criterion and hospitalized in Zhongshan Hospital of Fudan University were retrospectively reviewed.Each was determined by drug history,clinical symptoms and signs,laboratory tests and therapeutic effects.In 41 cases,the diagnosis was confirmed by liver biopsy.The proportion of acute drug-induced liver disease among all of the acute liver injuries was annually increased.The most common drugs which induced acute liver injuries were traditional Chinese herb medicine(23.3%,64/275 cases),antineoplastics(15.3%,42/275),hormones and other immunosuppressant agents(13.8%,38/275),antihypertensive drugs and other cardiovascular drugs(10.2%,28/275),NSAIDs(8.7%,24/275)respectively.Hepatocellular injury was the predominant type in these cases(132 cases,48%).The principal clinical manifestation included nausea(54.8%),fatigue(50.2%),jaundice(35.6%).27.9%patients were asymptomatic.Most patients were cured with good prognosis.The total effective rate was 94.2%after treatment.The clinicians should pay attention to the prevention,diagnosis and therapy of drug-induced liver disease. | LI Lei JIANG Wei WANG Jiyao | 2007 | Frontiers of Medicine2007,1,1: | 31 |
| 2 | The first observation of the atmospheric tides in the mesosphere and lower thermosphere over Hainan, China显示文摘Fuke (19.5°N, 109.1°E) meteor radar is the first radar of the low latitudes of China, which is used to detect the wind in the meso- sphere and lower thermosphere. In this paper, by using the wind data near three months (1 February-20 April, 2009), we first present the variation of the atmospheric diurnal tide, semidiurnal tide and mean wind in the height range 80-100 km over the low latitudes of China. The results from our analysis are summarized below. During spring months, there are quite strong tides in the mesopause region of Fuke. The diurnal tidal amplitude is significantly larger than the amplitude of semidiurnal tide, and the maximum amplitude (about 100 m/s) of diurnal tide appear in the meridional wind. The vertical phases of both diurnal tide and semidiurnal tide propagate downward. | 5 | 2022 Chinese national clinical practice guideline on Helicobacter pylori eradication treatment显示文摘Background:Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)infection is an infectious disease with a prevalence rate of up to 50%worldwide.It can cause indigestion,gastritis,peptic ulcer,and gastric cancer.H.pylori eradication treatment can effectively control disease progression and reduce the risk of the above conditions.However,the escalating trend of antibiotic resistance presents a global challenge for H.pylori eradication.We aim to provide guidance on pharmacological treatment of H.pylori infection.Methods:This clinical practice guideline is developed following the World Health Organization’s recommended process,adopting Grading of Recommendations Assessment,Development and Evaluation in assessing evidence quality,and utilizing Evidence to Decision framework to formulate clinical recommendations,minimizing bias and increasing transparency of the clinical practice guideline development process.We used the Reporting Items for practice Guidelines in HealThcare(RIGHT)statement and The Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation Ⅱ(AGREE Ⅱ)as reporting and conduct guides to ensure the guideline’s completeness and transparency.Results:Though decreasing in developed countries,the prevalence of H.pylori remains high in developing countries,causing a major public health burden.This clinical practice guideline contains 12 recommendations concerning pharmacological treatment for H.pylori eradication.Among them,it is worth highlighting that bismuth preparations are inexpensive,safe,and effective,consequently making bismuth quadruple therapy a preferred choice for initial and rescue treatment.In empirical treatment,high-dose dual therapy is equally effective compared with bismuth quadruple therapy.Conclusions:The 12 recommendations in this clinical practice guideline are formed with consideration for stakeholders’values and preferences,resource use,feasibility,and acceptability.Recommendations are generalizable to resource limited settings with similar antibiotic resistance pattern as China,and lower middle-income countries facing comparable sociological and technical challenges.Registration:Guidelines International Network(GIN)website,https://guidelines.ebmportal.com/node/69996. | Liya Zhou Hong Lu Zhiqiang Song Bin Lyu Ye Chen Jiyao Wang Jun Xia Zhan Zhao on behalf of Helicobacter Pylori Study Group of Chinese Society of Gastroenterology | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,24: | 5 |
| 6 | Enhancing rice grain production by manipulating the naturally evolved cis-regulatory element-containing inverted repeat sequence of OsREM20显示文摘Grain number per panicle(GNP)is an important agronomic trait that contributes to rice grain yield.Despite its importance in rice breeding,the molecular mechanism underlying GNP regulation remains largely unknown.In this study,we identified a previously unrecognized regulatory gene that controls GNP in rice,Oryza sativa REPRODUCTIVE MERISTEM 20(OsREM20),which encodes a B3 domain transcription factor.Through genetic analysis and transgenic validation we found that genetic variation in the CArG box-containing inverted repeat(IR)sequence of the OsREM20 promoter alters its expression level and contributes to GNP variation among rice varieties.Furthermore,we revealed that the IR sequence regulates OsREM20 expression by affecting the direct binding of OsMADS34 to the CArG box within the IR sequence.Interestingly,the divergent pOsREM20IR and pOsREM20ΔIR alleles were found to originate from different Oryza rufipogon accessions,and were independently inherited into the japonica and indica subspecies,respectively,during domestication.Importantly,we demonstrated that IR sequence variations in the OsREM20 promoter can be utilized for germplasm improvement through either genome editing or traditional breeding.Taken together,our study characterizes novel genetic variations responsible for GNP diversity in rice,reveals the underlying molecular mechanism in the regulation of agronomically important gene expression,and provides a promising strategy for improving rice production by manipulating the cis-regulatory element-containing IR sequence. | Xiaowei Wu Yan Liang Hengbin Gao Jiyao Wang Yan Zhao Lekai Hua Yundong Yuan Ahong Wang Xiaohui Zhang Jiafan Liu Jie Zhou Xiangbing Meng Dahan Zhang Shaoyang Lin Xuehui Huang Bin Han Jiayang Li Yonghong Wang | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,6: | 3 |

| 9 | Young Yum pill inhibits inflammatory mediators and nuclear factor-kappa B signaling in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Young Yum pill (YYP) on inflammatory mediators in cultured RAW 264.7 cells and elucidate the nuclear factor- kappa B (NF-κB)-related mechanism behind the action. METHODS: YYP was extracted with 95% ethanol Lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages were used to evaluate the effect of YYP on inflammatory mediators. Production of nitric oxide (NO) and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) were measured by Griess test and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, respectively. The levels of genes and proteins involved in the generation of inflammatory mediators were examined using real-time polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting, respectively. RESULTS: YYP dose-dependently suppressed LPS-induced production of NO, PGE2 and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), and elevation of mRNA and protein levels of inducible NO synthase and cyclooxygenase- 2 in RAW 264.7 macrophages. These observations were associated with decreased NF-κB p65 phosphorylation and nuclear localization, enhanced Akt (protein kinase B) phosphorylation, as well as reduced inhibitor of κB (IκB)α degradation and IκB kinase α/β phosphorylation.
