| 1 | Clinical research linking Traditional Chinese Medicine constitution types with diseases:a literature review of 1639 observational studies显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To analyze clinical studies on correlations between Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)body constitution types and diseases published in the past 10 years,and to provide an evidence base to support the use of such correlations for health maintenance and disease prevention.METHODS:We searched five databases for the period April 2009 to December 2019:China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,Wanfang Database,China Science and Technology Journal Database,PubMed and Embase.Three types of observational studies on correlation between constitution types and diseases were included:cross-sectional,case-control and cohort studies.Descriptive statistical methods were employed for data analysis.RESULTS:A total of 1639 clinical studies were identified:1452(88.59%)cross-sectional studies,115(7.02%)case-control studies and 72(4.39%)cohort studies covering 30 regions of China and five other countries(Malaysia,South Korea,Singapore,Thailand and France).The collection of studies comprised 19 disease categories and 333 different diseases.The 10 most commonly studied diseases were hypertension,diabetes,stroke,coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(CAHD),sleep disorders,neoplasm of the breast,dysmenorrhea,fatty liver disease,chronic viral hepatitis B and dyslipidemia.We found high distributions for each biased constitution type in different patient populations as follows:Qi-deficiency constitution in stroke,diabetes,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and hypertension;Yang-deficiency constitution in female infertility,osteoporosis,irritable bowel syndrome,gonarthrosis and dysmenorrhea;Yin-deficiency constitution in hypertension,diabetes,constipation,female climacteric states and osteoporosis;phlegm-dampness constitution in hypertension,stroke,fatty liver disease,diabetes and metabolic syndrome;damp-heat constitution in acne,chronic gastritis,chronic viral hepatitis B,human papillomavirus infection and hyperuricemia;blood-stasis constitution in CAHD,endometriosis and stroke;Qi-stagnation constitution in hyperplasia and neoplasms of the breast,insomnia,depression and thyroid nodules;and inherited-special constitution in asthma and allergic rhinitis.CONCLUSION:Eight biased TCM constitutions were closely related to specific diseases,and could be used to guide individualized prevention and treatment.More rigorously designed studies are recommended to further verify the constitution-disease relationship. | Liang Xue Wang Qi Jiang Zeqiang Li Zhuqing Zhang Mengxing Yang Peiying Wang Xin Wang Yanqiu Qin Yuehua Li Tianxing Zhang Tianyi Wang Yi Sun Jianxiang Li Yusi Luo Hui Li Lingru | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,4: | 29 |

| 4 | Anlotinib has good efficacy and low toxicity: a phase Ⅱ study of anlotinib in pre-treated HER-2 negative metastatic breast cancer显示文摘Objective:Anlotinib is a novel tyrosine kinase inhibitor blocking angiogenesis.This study was performed to assess the efficacy and safety of anlotinib in patients with metastatic breast cancer.Methods:Patients with HER2-negative breast cancer,who were pre-treated with anthracycline or taxanes in a neoadjuvant,adjuvant,or metastatic setting,and had treatment failure after at least one prior chemotherapy regimen in the metastatic setting were enrolled.Anlotinib was administered at 12 mg daily for 14 days in a 21-day cycle until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity occurred.Simultaneously,5–10 m L of venous blood was collected to perform circulating tumor DNA(ct DNA)testing every 2 treatment cycles.The primary endpoint was the objective response rate(ORR).Secondary endpoints included the disease control rate(DCR),progression-free survival(PFS),overall survival,safety,and biomarkers.Results:Twenty-six eligible patients were enrolled,with a median age of 56(30–75)years.The median follow-up time was 10.5 months.The ORR was 15.4%,the DCR was 80.8%,and the median PFS was 5.22 months(95%confidence interval 2.86–6.24).Fourteen(53.8%)patients survived for more than 10 months.The changes in the detectable ct DNA variant allele frequency were consistent with the tumor response.The most common treatment-related adverse events were hypertension(57.7%),thyroidstimulating hormone elevation(34.6%),and hand-foot syndrome(23.1%).Conclusion:Anlotinib showed objective efficacy with tolerable toxicity in heavily pre-treated,metastatic HER2-negative breast cancer.The dynamic changes in the ct DNA variant allele fraction may be predictive of the tumor response. | Nanlin Hu Yiran Si Jian Yue Tingting Sun Xue Wang Zhuqing Jia Songlin Gao Qiao Li Yang Shao Jiayu Wang Yang Luo Fei Ma Binghe Xu Peng Yuan | 2021 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,3: | 11 |

| 8 | Drug resistance mutation profiles of the drug-nave and first-line regimen-treated HIV-1-infected population of Suzhou, China显示文摘Little is known about the prevalence of drug-resistant mutations in HIV-1-positive individuals in Suzhou, China. To elucidate the transmitted drug resistance(TDR) and acquired drug resistance mutation(ADR) profiles, we collected blood specimens from 127 drug-naive and 117 first-line drugtreated HIV-1-infected individuals sampled from 2014 to 2016 in Suzhou. We successfully amplified po/fragments from 100 drug-naive and 20 drug-treated samples. We then determined the drugresistant mutations to protease(PR) and reverse-transcriptase(RT) inhibitors according to the Stanford drug resistance database. Overall, 11 and 13 individuals had transmitted(drug-naive group) and acquired(treated group) resistance mutations, respectively. Six transmitted drugresistant mutations were found, including two mutations(L33F and L76V) in the protease region and four(K70N/E and V179D/E) in the RT region. Only L76 V was a major mutation, and K70N/E and V179D/E are known to cause low-level resistance to RT inhibitors. All 13 treated participants who had major drug resistance mutations demonstrated intermediate to high resistance to efavirenz and nevirapine, and six had a treatment duration of less than three months. No major mutations to RT inhibitors were found, implying that the epidemic of transmitted resistance mutations was not significant in this area. Our results suggest that more frequent virus load and drug resistance mutation tests should be conducted for individuals receiving antiretroviral treatment, especially for newly treated patients. | 18 | Mechanically strengthened graphene-Cu composite with reduced thermal expansion towards interconnect applications显示文摘High-density integration technologies with copper(Cu)through-silicon via(TSV)have emerged as viable alternatives for achieving the requisite integration densities for the portable electronics and micro-electro-mechanical systems(MEMSs)package.However,significant thermo-mechanical stresses can be introduced in integrated structures during the manufacturing process due to mismatches of thermal expansion and the mechanical properties between Cu and silicon(Si).The high-density integration demands an interconnection material with a strong mechanical strength and small thermal expansion mismatch.In this study,a novel electroplating method is developed for the synthesis of a graphene-copper(G-Cu)composite with electrochemically exfoliated graphenes.The fabrication and evaluation of the G-Cu composite microstructures,including the microcantilevers and micromirrors supported by the composite,are reported.We evaluated not only the micromechanical properties of the G-Cu composite based on in-situ mechanical resonant frequency measurements using a laser Doppler vibrometer but also the coefficients of thermal expansion(CTE)of the composite based on curvature radius measurements at a temperature range of 20–200℃.The Young’s modulus and shear modulus of the composite are approximately 123 and 51 GPa,which are 1.25 times greater and 1.22 times greater,respectively,than those of pure Cu due to the reinforcement of graphene.The G-Cu composite exhibits a 23%lower CTE than Cu without sacrificing electrical conductivity.These results show that the mechanically strengthened G-Cu composite with reduced thermal expansion is an ideal and reliable interconnection material instead of Cu for complex integration structures. | Zhonglie An Jinhua Li Akio Kikuchi Zhuqing Wang Yonggang Jiang Takahito Ono | 2019 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2019,5,1: | 1 |
| 19 | Neuronal differentiation effects of vascular endothelial factor on bone marrow stromal cells显示文摘BACKGROUND:Studies have demonstrated that bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) undergo neuronal differentiation under certain in vitro conditions.However,very few inducers of BMSC differentiation have been used in clinical application.The effects of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) on in vitro neuronal differentiation of BMSCs remain poorly understood.OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of VEGF on neuronal differentiation of BMSCs in vitro,and to determine the best VEGF concentration for experimental induction.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:In vitro comparative study was performed at the Central Laboratory and Laboratory of Male Reproductive Medicine,Shenzhen Hospital of Peking University from October 2008 to August 2009.MATERIALS:Recombinant human VEGF165 was purchased from Peprotech Asia,Rehovot,Israel.Neuron-specific enolase (NSE) was purchased from Beijing Biosynthesis Biotechnology,China.METHODS:BMSCs were harvested from adult Sprague Dawley rats.The passaged cells were pre-induced with 10 ng/mL basic fibroblast growth factor for 24 hours,followed by differentiation induction with 0,5,10,and 20 ng/mL VEGF,respectively.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Morphological changes in BMSCs prior to and following VEGF induction.Expression of NSE following induction was determined by immunocytochemistry.RESULTS:Shrunken,round cells,with a strong refraction and thin bipolar or multipolar primary and secondary branches were observed 3 days after induction with 5,10,and 20 ng/mL VEGF.However,these changes were not observed in the control group.At 10 days after induction,the number of NSE-positive cells was greatest in the 10 ng/mL VEGF-treated group (P < 0.05).The number of NSE-positive cells was least in the control group at 3 and 10 days post-induction (P < 0.05).Moreover,the number of NSE-positive cells was greater at 10 days compared with at 3 days after induction (P < 0.05).CONCLUSION:Of the VEGF concentrations tested,10 ng/mL induced the greatest number of neuronal-like cells in vitro from BMSCs. | Li Yi Qiaoyun Liu Jinling Han Jing Ye Fangting Zhang Guanghui Cui Zhuqing Zhou | 2010 | Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,9: | 1 |
