The Nonlinear Bifurcation and Chaos of Coupled Heave and Pitch Motions of a Truss Spar Platform显示文摘This paper presents the results from a numerical study on the nonlinear dynamic behaviors including bifurcation and chaos of a truss spar platform. In view of the mutual influences between the heave and the pitch modes, the coupled heave and pitch motion equations of the spar platform hull were established in the regular waves. In order to analyze the nonlinear motions of the platform, three-dimensional maximum Lyapunov exponent graphs and the bifurcation graphs were constructed, the Poincaré maps and the power spectrums of the platform response were calculated. It was found that the platform motions are sensitive to wave frequency. With changing wave frequency, the platform undergoes complicated nonlinear motions, including 1/2 sub-harmonic motion, quasi-periodic motion and chaotic motion. When the wave frequency approaches the natural frequency of the heave mode of the platform, the platform moves with quasi-periodic motion and chaotic motional ternately. For a certain range of wave frequencies, the platform moves with totally chaotic motion. The range of wave frequencies which leads to chaotic motion of the platform increases with increasing wave height. The three-dimensional maximum Lyapunov exponent graphs and the bifurcation graphs reveal the nonlinear motions of the spar platform under different wave conditions.HUANG Lei LIU Liqin LIU Chunyuan TANG Yougang 2015Journal of Ocean University of China2015,14,5:3
Nontrivial coupling of light into a defect:the interplay of nonlinearity and topology显示文摘The flourishing of topological photonics in the last decade was achieved mainly due to developments in linear topological photonic structures. However, when nonlinearity is introduced, many intriguing questions arise. For example, are there universal fingerprints of the underlying topology when modes are coupled by nonlinearity, and what can happen to topological invariants during nonlinear propagation? To explore these questions,we experimentally demonstrate nonlinearity-induced coupling of light into topologically protected edge states using a photonic platform and develop a general theoretical framework for interpreting the mode-coupling dynamics in nonlinear topological systems.Performed on laser-written photonic Su-Schrieffer-Heeger lattices, our experiments show the nonlinear coupling of light into a nontrivial edge or interface defect channel that is otherwise not permissible due to topological protection. Our theory explains all the observations well.Furthermore,we introduce the concepts of inherited and emergent nonlinear topological phenomena as well as a protocol capable of revealing the interplay of nonlinearity and topology. These concepts are applicable to other nonlinear topological systems, both in higher dimensions and beyond our photonic platform.Shiqi Xia Dario Jukic Nan Wang Daria Smirnova Lev Smirnov Liqin Tang Daohong Song Alexander Szameit Daniel Leykam Jingjun Xu Zhigang Chen Hrvoje Buljan 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:3

Heave-Roll-Pitch Coupled Nonlinear Internal Resonance Response of a Spar Platform Considering Wave and Vortex Exciting Loads显示文摘Many studies have been done on the heave-pitch unstable coupling response for a spar platform by a 2-DOF model. In fact,in addition to the heave and pitch which are in one plane, the nonlinear unstable motion will also occur in roll. From the results of the experiments, the unstable roll motion plays a dominant role in the motion of a spar platform which is much stronger than that of pitch. The objective of this paper is to study 3-DOF coupling response performance of spar platform under wave and vortex-induced force. The nonlinear coupled equations in heave, roll and pitch are established by considering time-varying wet surface and coupling. The first order steady-state response is solved by multi-scales method when the incident wave frequency approaches the heave natural frequency.Numerical integration of the motion equations has been performed to verify the first-order perturbation solution. The results are confirmed by model test. There is a saturation phenomenon associated with heave mode in 3-DOF systems and all extra energy is transferred to roll and pitch. It is observed that sub-harmonic response occurs in roll and pitch when the wave force exceeds a certain value. The energy distribution in roll and pitch is determined by the initial value and damping characteristics of roll and pitch. The energy transfers from heave to pitch and then transfers from pitch to roll.Due to the influence of the low-frequency vortex-excited force, the response of roll is more complicated than that of pitch.LI Wei TANG Yougang LIU Liqin LIU Shuxiao CAI Runbo 2017Journal of Ocean University of China2017,16,2:2
Two Ultraviolet Radiation Datasets that Cover China显示文摘Ultraviolet(UV) radiation has significant effects on ecosystems, environments, and human health, as well as atmospheric processes and climate change. Two ultraviolet radiation datasets are described in this paper. One contains hourly observations of UV radiation measured at 40 Chinese Ecosystem Research Network stations from 2005 to 2015. CUV3 broadband radiometers were used to observe the UV radiation, with an accuracy of 5%, which meets the World Meteorology Organization's measurement standards. The extremum method was used to control the quality of the measured datasets. The other dataset contains daily cumulative UV radiation estimates that were calculated using an all-sky estimation model combined with a hybrid model. The reconstructed daily UV radiation data span from 1961 to 2014. The mean absolute bias error and root-mean-square error are smaller than 30% at most stations, and most of the mean bias error values are negative, which indicates underestimation of the UV radiation intensity. These datasets can improve our basic knowledge of the spatial and temporal variations in UV radiation. Additionally, these datasets can be used in studies of potential ozone formation and atmospheric oxidation, as well as simulations of ecological processes.Hui LIU Bo HU Yuesi WANG Guangren LIU Liqin TANG Dongsheng JI Yongfei BAI Weikai BAO Xin CHEN Yunming CHEN Weixin DING Xiaozeng HAN Fei HE Hui HUANG Zhenying HUANG Xinrong LI Yan LI Wenzhao LIU Luxiang LIN Zhu OUYANG Boqiang QIN Weijun SHEN Yanjun SHEN Hongxin SU Changchun SONG Bo SUN Song SUN Anzhi WANG Genxu WANG Huimin WANG Silong WANG Youshao WANG Wenxue WEI Ping XIE Zongqiang XIE Xiaoyuan YAN Fanjiang ZENG Fawei ZHANG Yangjian ZHANG Yiping ZHANG Chengyi ZHAO Wenzhi ZHAO Xueyong ZHAO Guoyi ZHOU Bo ZHU 2017Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2017,34,7:2

Low rate of pre-exposure prophylaxis and post-exposure prophylaxis uptake and high prevalence of transmitted drug resistance among newly diagnosed primary HIV infections in Shenzhen, China: a real-world retrospective study显示文摘Background: Understanding the characteristics of newly diagnosed primary human deficiency virus-1 (HIV-1) infection in the context of the post-antiretroviral therapy era and HIV drug prophylaxis is essential for achieving the new target of 95-95-95-95 by 2025. This study reported the characteristics of newly diagnosed primary HIV-1 infection in Shenzhen. Methods: This is a real-world retrospective study. Eighty-seven newly diagnosed primary HIV-1-infected patients were recruited from January 2021 to March 2022 at the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen. Demographic, epidemiological, diagnostic, drug resistance, and medical data were described and analyzed. Results: Overall, 96.6% (84/87) of the newly identified primary HIV-1-infected patients were male, including 88.5% (77/87) men have sex with men (MSM), with a median age of 29.0 years (Q_(1)-Q_(3): 24.0-34.0 years);of these, 85.1% (74/87) reported high-risk sexual behaviors with casual partners. The rate of condom usage was only 28.7% (25/87). The overall rate of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) was 8.0% (7/87, including 4 PrEP and 3 PEP cases) around the potential exposure, although 41.4% of the patients had prior awareness of such interventions. Moreover, only 19.5% (17/87) had previously used PrEP or PEP. Of those, 58.8% (10/17) of the patients obtained drugs from the internet, and only 35.3% (6/17) reported good compliance. A total of 54.0% (47/87) of subjects were diagnosed by the HIV nucleic acid test. Acute retroviral syndrome appeared in 54.0% (47/87) of patients. The prevalence of transmitted drug resistance (TDR) mutation was 33.9% (19/56), including 6 (10.7%) against nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) plus non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI), 8 (14.3%) against NNRTI, and 5 (8.9%) against protease inhibitor (PI) only. Conclusions: Owing to the low utilization rate and incorrect usage of PrEP and PEP, massive efforts are needed to promote HIV-preventive strategies in the MSM population. The extremely high prevalence of TDR mutation in this population implies the need for future pretreatment drug resistance surveillance.Qiaoli Peng Xiaoning Liu Xian Tang Qiuyue Zhang Jin Zhao Chenli Zheng Fang Zhao Yang Zhou Lukun Zhang Liqin Sun Haitao Zhang Xinyun Jia Ying Song Tingzhi Cao Siyuan Wang Man Rao Zhiwei Chen Hui Wang Yun He 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,22:1
Clinical practice guideline for body composition assessment based on upper abdominal magnetic resonance images annotated using artificial intelligence显示文摘Introduction Upper abdominal magnetic resonance(MR)imaging is appropriate for body composition analysis.111 Especially for individuals with obesity,it is of great value to quantify the hepatic proton density fat fraction(PDFF)and the amount of abdominal adipose tissue during clinical evaluation and for research on obesity-related risks.Analytical results may be used to determine the optimal choice of surgical procedure and evaluate treatment outcomes.Multiple artificial intelligence(Al)algorithms and systems have been developed for the automated measurement of body composition. The basis of Al development and application is to have uniform standards for clinical data acquisition and management. The uneven quality ofMR images is one ofthe major obstacles to Al system development and analytical results.A standardized process of MR scanning and clinical data management is urgently needed.Han Lv Mengyi Li Zhenchang Wang Dawei Yang Hui Xu Juan Li Yang Liu Di Cao Yawen Liu Xinru Wu He Jin Peng Zhang Liqin Zhao Rixing Bai Yunlong Yue Bin Li Nengwei Zhang Mingzhu Zou Jinghai Song Weibin Yu Pin Zhang Weijun Tang Qiyuan Yao Liheng Liu Hui Yang Zhenghan Yang Zhongtao Zhang National Clinical Research Center for Digestive Diseases in Beijing Friendship Hospital,Capital Medical University Beijing Quality Control and Improvement Center of Medical Imaging National Health Commission Capacity Building and Continuing Education Center,Chinese College of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons Beijing Quality Control and Improvement Center of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,6:1

CFD Simulation of the Vertical Motion Characteristics of the Moonpool Fluid for the Truss Spar显示文摘The research purpose of this paper is to estimate the impacts of the parameters of the guide plate on the vertical motion characteristics of the moonpool fluid. With the volume of fluid(VOF) method, three-dimensional models of the moonpool fluid motions of the truss spar platform are established. Simulation results are then presented for the moonpool forced oscillation by employing the dynamic mesh method and user-defined functions in FLUENT. The motions of the moonpool fluid and the loads on the guide plates are obtained for both cases of square-ring and crisscross. The results show that the shape and area of the guide plate at the bottom of the moonpool have a significant impact on the physical parameters of the moonpool, including the load on the moonpool guide plate, motion form of the moonpool fluid and the mass flow rate.Bin Wang Liqin Liu Yougang Tang 2014Journal of Marine Science and Application2014,13,1:1

Development of Operational Space Weather Prediction Models显示文摘In this report, we summarize the needs of space weather models, and recommend that developing operational prediction models, rather than transitioning from research to operation, is a more feasible and critical way for space weather services in the near future. Operational models for solar wind speed, geomagnetic indices, magnetopause, plasma sheet energetic electrons, inner boundary of ion plasma sheet, energetic electrons in outer radiation belt, and thermospheric density at low Earth orbit, have been developed and will be introduced briefly here. Their applications made a big progress in space weather services during the past two years in China.GONG Jiancun LIU Siqing SHI Liqin LUO Bingxian CHEN Yanhong HUANG Wengeng CAO Jinbin XIE Lun LEI Jiuhou TANG Weiwei 2014空间科学学报2014,34,5:1
A 3D Bioprinted Gut Anaerobic Model for Studying Bacteria–Host Interactions显示文摘The role of the human intestinal tract in host–microbe interactions has been highlighted in recent years.Several 3-dimensional(3D)models have been developed to reproduce the physiological characteristics of the human gut and to investigate the function of the gut microbiota. One challenge for 3D models is to recapitulate the low oxygen concentrations in the intestinal lumen. Moreover, most earlier 3D culture systems used a membrane to physically separate bacteria from the intestinal epithelium, which has sometimes made the studies of bacteria adhering to or invading cells less feasible. We report the establishment of a 3D gut epithelium model and cultured it at high cell viability under an anaerobic condition. We further cocultured intestinal bacteria including both commensal and pathogen directly with epithelial cells in the established 3D model under the anaerobic condition. We subsequently compared the gene expression differences of aerobic and anaerobic conditions for cell and bacterial growth via dual RNA sequencing. Our study provides a physiologically relevant 3D gut epithelium model that mimics the anaerobic condition in the intestinal lumen and supplies a powerful system for future in-depth gut–microbe interactional investigations.Liqin Cheng Tingting Liu Qiong Liu Liming Lian Guosheng Tang Luis Santiago Mille Fabricio Romero García Lars Engstrand Yu Shrike Zhang Juan Du 2023Research2023,,3:0
DNA repair-and nucleotide metabolism-related genes exhibit differential CHG methylation patterns in natural and synthetic polyploids (Brassica napus L.)显示文摘Polyploidization plays a crucial role in the evolution of angiosperm species.Almost all newly formed polyploids encounter genetic or epigenetic instabilities. However, the molecular mechanisms contributing to genomic instability in synthetic polyploids have not been clearly elucidated. Here,we performed a comprehensive transcriptomic and methylomic analysis of natural and synthetic polyploid rapeseeds(Brassica napus). Our results showed that the CHG methylation levels of synthetic rapeseed in different genomic contexts(genes, transposon regions, and repeat regions)were signi fi cantly lower than those of natural rapeseed. The total number and length of CHG-DMRs between natural and synthetic polyploids were much greater than those of CG-DMRs and CHH-DMRs,and the genes overlapping with these CHG-DMRs were signi fi cantly enriched in DNA damage repair and nucleotide metabolism pathways. These results indicated that CHG methylation may be more sensitive than CG and CHH methylation in regulating the stability of the polyploid genome of B.napus.In addition, many genes involved in DNA damage repair, nucleotide metabolism, and cell cycle control were significantly differentially expressed between natural and synthetic rapeseeds. Our results highlight that the genes related to DNA repair and nucleotide metabolism display differential CHG methylation patterns between natural and synthetic polyploids and reveal the potential connection between the genomic instability of polyploid plants with DNA methylation defects and dysregulation of the DNA repair system. In addition,it was found that the maintenance of CHG methylation in B.napus might be partially regulated by MET1.Our study provides novel insights into the establishment and evolution of polyploid plants and offers a potentialidea for improving the genomic stability of newly formed Brassica polyploids.Liqin Yin Zhendong Zhu Liangjun Huang Xuan Luo Yun Li Chaowen Xiao Jin Yang Jisheng Wang Qiong Zou Lanrong Tao Zeming Kang Rong Tang Maolin Wang Shaohong Fu 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:0
Synthetic optical vortex beams from the analogous trajectory change of an artificial satellite显示文摘We propose a method to generate specially shaped high-order singular beams of pre-designed intensity distributions. Such a method does not a priori assume a phase formula, but rather relies on the 'cake-cutting and assembly' approach to achieve the azimuthal phase gradient for beam shaping, inspired by the orbital motion trajectory change of an artificial satellite. Based on our method, several typical vortex beams with desired intensity patterns are experimentally generated. As an example, we realize optical trapping and transportation of microorganisms with a triangle-shaped vortex beam, demonstrating the applicability of such unconventional vortex beams in optical trapping and manipulation.HAIPING WANG LIQIN TANG JINA MA XIUYAN ZHENG DAOHONG SONG YI HU YIGANG LI ZHIGANG CHEN 2019Photonics Research2019,7,9:0
Phase evolution of tantalum nitride and tantalum carbide films with PBII parameters显示文摘Tantalum nitride and tantalum carbide films were fabricated using magnetron sputtering of tantalum followed by nitrogen and carbon plasma-based ion implantation (N-PBII and C-PBII).The phase evolution and morphology of the films were studied using glancing angle X-ray diffraction (GXRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).It was found that the main phase in the tantalum nitride films was crystalline TaN0.1 whose grain size increases with increasing implantation voltage and phase content increases with increasing implantation dose.In the tantalum carbide film, the main phase was Ta2C.TaC phase also appeared as the implantation dose increased.XRD results from various glancing angles show that the phases with high nitrogen or carbon content,Ta4N5 and TaC,are present in the surface of the films.X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS) from the tantalum carbide film reveal that the surface carbon content is higher than that of the inner film.LI Zhongwen GU Le TANG Guangze MA Xinxin SUN Mingren WANG Liqin 2011Rare Metals2011,30,2:0
