| 3 | First mass measurement of short-lived nuclides at HIRFL-CSR显示文摘Recent commissioning of the HIRFL-CSR has demonstrated its ability to perform direct mass measurement for short-lived nuclides. Projectile fragments produced by the 78Kr ions at 481.88 MeV/u were separated with the new radioactive beam line in Lanzhou (RIBLL2), and injected into and stored in the experimental storage ring (CSRe). By operating the CSRe as an isochronous mass spectrometry, a typical mass resolution around 2.0×10?5 has been achieved. The masses for 63Ge, 65As and 67Se were measured for the first time. The measured masses are compared with theoretical predictions and the location of the proton drip-line for As isotopes is discussed. | 4 | Effects of Material Composition and Water Content on the Mechanical Properties of Landslide Deposits Triggered by the Wenchuan Earthquake显示文摘Abundant landslide deposits were triggered by the Wenchuan earthquake,providing a rich source of material for subsequent debris flows or slope failures under rainfall conditions.A good understanding of the physical and mechanical properties of the landslide deposits is very important to the research on slope failure mechanisms and the initiation of debris flow.Laboratory biaxial compression tests are used to study the material compositions and water content impacts on the mechanical properties of landslide deposits,and a discrete element method(a bond-contact model)is used to study the particle stiffness,bond force,friction coefficient and confining stress impact on the mechanical behaviors and the relationships between the numerical and experimental parameters.The experimental results show that the failure stress of landslide deposits is decreased with increasing content of fine particles and also with increased water content,especially at the initial increasing stage.Cohesion of the saturated landslide deposits is increased,but the friction angle is decreased with the increase in the fine particle content.Shear strength parameters(the cohesion and friction angle)are decreased with the increasing water content at the initial increasing stage,and then,they slowly decrease.There is a critical value of the water content at 5%-7%(in weight)for the failure stress and shear strength parameters of the landslide deposits.Quadratic equations are presented to describe the relation between the bond force and cohesion,and the numerical friction coefficient and the experimental friction angle. | ZHOU Jiawen CUI Peng YANG Xingguo | 2016 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2016,90,1: | 9 |
| 5 | 2,5-Diformylfuran production by photocatalytic selective oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural in water using MoS_(2)/CdIn_(2)S_(4) flower-like heterojunctions显示文摘The selective oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF) into 2,5-diformylfuran(DFF) is an important reaction for renewable biomass building blocks. Compared with thermal catalytic processes, photocatalytic production of DFF from HMF has attracted tremendous attention. Herein, the MoS_(2)/CdIn_(2)S_(4)(MC)flower-like heterojunctions were prepared and considered as photocatalysts for selective oxidation of HMF into DFF under visible-light irradiation in aqueous solution. Results demonstrated MoS_(2) in MC heterojunction could promote the separation of photoexcited electron-hole pairs, while the amount of MoS_(2) dropping was proved influenced on the photocatalytic performance. 80.93% of DFF selectivity was realized when using 12.5% MC as photocatalyst. In addition, the MC catalyst also showed great potential in transformation of other biomass derived benzyl-and furyl-alcohols. The catalytic mechanism suggested that ·O_(2)^(-) was the decisive active radical for HMF oxidation. | 6 | Brassinosteroid and gibberellin coordinate rice seed germination and embryo growth by regulating glutelin mobilization显示文摘Seed germination is the beginning of a new lifecycle,and involves many complex physiological and biochemical reactions including seed reserve mobilization in the endosperm and nutrient transport and reuse in the embryo.Although glutelin is a dominant storage protein in rice,its contribution to seed germination and its regulatory mechanisms are mostly unknown.Gibberellin (GA) and brassinosteroid (BR),two major growth-promoting phytohormones,also play positive roles in controlling seed germination.However,how GA and BR interact and coordinate seed germination and facilitate glutelin mobilization remains unclear.In the present study,biochemical and physiological analyses of seed germination indicated that both GA and BR promote seed germination and post-germination growth.Exogenous application of GA restored germination defects caused by BR deficiency or insensitivity.Proteomic and q RT-PCR results showed that the expression of several glutelin proteins and their encoding genes was induced by BR and GA in the embryo.Expression assays suggested that the increased accumulation of glutelin protein in the embryo was due to the accelerated degradation of glutelin by a cysteine proteinase (REP-1) in the endosperm.The breakdown of glutelin in the endosperm showed a strict positive correspondence with the length of the shoot.The GluA2 mutation led to reduced degradation rate of glutelin and defects in seed germination,and the promotion effect of GA on seed germination was weakened in the glua2mutant.In vitro culture assay of rice embryos showed that glutelin mobilization functioned downstream of the GA and BR pathways to promote shoot elongation.These findings suggest a mechanism that mediates crosstalk between BR and GA in co-regulating rice seed germination and embryo growth. | Min Xiong Lingyi Chu Qianfeng Li Jiawen Yu Yihao Yang Peng Zhou Yong Zhou Changquan Zhang Xiaolei Fan Dongsheng Zhao Changjie Yan Qiaoquan Liu | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,5: | 1 |

| 8 | Accelerated intermediate conversion through nickel doping into mesoporous Co-N/C nanopolyhedron for efficient ORR显示文摘Engineering non-precious metals into nitrogen-doped carbon is employed to improve electrocatalyst activity towards oxygen reduction reaction(ORR). A nickel-doped Co-N/C mesoporous nanopolyhedron is successfully evoluted from a Ni-doped ZIF-67 precursor. The Ni & Co synergistic N/C catalyst exhibits a half-wave potential of 0.895 V(vs. reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)) with a diffusion-limiting current density of 6.1 m A cm^(-2)for alkaline ORR at 1600 r min^(-1), which is competitive to commercial Pt/C in terms of cost, methanol tolerance, and long-term stability. In situ surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) study reveals the formation and fast conversion of superoxide ion(O_(2)^(-)) intermediate on the catalyst surface. Density functional theory(DFT) calculations demonstrate the decrease of energy barrier for potential-determining step(O* protonation) by Co-Ni synergy as well as the reduction of adsorption energy on catalyst surface upon nickel doping. | 10 | On the heat budget and water mass exchange in the Andaman Sea显示文摘The characteristics of the T/S structures,water mass exchange and deep circulation in the Andaman Sea are investigated based on the simulation from a high-resolution general circulation model(MITgcm).The results show that,below 1000 m,the water mass is saltier,warmer and more homogeneous in the Andaman Sea than that in the Bay of Bengal,attributing to the strong vertical mixing at the depth of^1800 m.The water mass exchange between the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal goes through three major channels,which manifests itself as follows:the northern channel(Preparis Channel)is the main passage of water mass transport from the Bay of Bengal to the Andaman Sea,whereas the Middle Channel(the south of Andaman Islands and the north of Nicobar Islands)has an opposite transport;the southern channel(Great Channel)features with a four-layer water exchange which results in the least net transport among the three channels;all the transports through the three channels have an intra-annual variation with a period of half a year.At 1000-m depth,the entire Andaman Sea is occupied by a cyclonic circulation in January and July while by an anticyclonic one in April and October.The semiannual cycle found in both the deep circulation and water mass exchange is likely associated with the downwelling eastward-propagating Kelvin waves induced by the semiannual westerly component in the equatorial Indian Ocean during intermonsoon seasons. | Jiawen Liao Shiqiu Peng Xixi Wen | 2020 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,7: | 0 |
| 11 | Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector.Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors.In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected.This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle.Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 14 | Ultra-fast 3D printing of assembly——free complex optics with sub-nanometer surface quality at mesoscale显示文摘Complex-shaped optical lenses are of great interest in the areas of laser processing,machine vision,and optical communications.Traditionally,the processing of complex optical lenses is usually achieved by precision machining combined with post-grinding or polishing,which is expensive,labor-intensive and difficult in the processing of ultra-complex optical lenses.Additive manufacturing is an emerging technology that provides significant advantages in producing highly intricate optical devices.However,the layer-by-layer method employed in such manufacturing processes has resulted in low printing speeds,as well as limitations in surface quality.To address these challenges,we apply tomographic volumetric printing(TVP)in this work,which can realize the integrated printing of complex structural models without layering.By coordinating the TVP and the meniscus equilibrium post-curing methods,ultra-fast fabrication of complex-shaped lenses with sub-nanometric roughness has been achieved.A2.5 mm high,outer diameter 9 mm spherical lens with a roughness value of RMS=0.3340 nm is printed at a speed of 3.1×10^(4)mm^(3)h^(-1).As a further demonstration,a complex-shaped fly-eye lens is fabricated without any part assembly.The designed spherical lens is mounted on a smartphone’s camera,and the precise alignments above the circuit board are captured.Upon further optimization,this new technology demonstrates the potential for rapid fabrication of ultra-smooth complex optical devices or systems. | Shuai Peng Jiawen Xu Dongya Li Jun Ren Meng Zhang Xiaolong Wang Yu Liu | 2023 | International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2023,5,3: | 0 |
