12D MOF Nanoflake-Assembled Spherical Microstructures for Enhanced Supercapacitor and Electrocatalysis Performances显示文摘Metal–organic frameworks(MOFs) are of great interest as potential electrochemically active materials.However, few studies have been conducted into understanding whether control of the shape and components of MOFs can optimize their electrochemical performances due to the rational realization of their shapes. Component control of MOFs remains a significant challenge. Herein, we demonstrate a solvothermal method to realize nanostructure engineering of 2D nanoflake MOFs. The hollow structures withNi/Co-and Ni-MOF(denoted as Ni/Co-MOF nanoflakes and Ni-MOF nanoflakes) were assembled for their electrochemical performance optimizations in supercapacitors and in the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR). As a result, the Ni/CoMOF nanoflakes exhibited remarkably enhanced performance with a specific capacitance of 530.4 F g^(-1)at 0.5 A g^(-1)in1 M LiO H aqueous solution, much higher than that of NiMOF(306.8 F g^(-1)) and ZIF-67(168.3 F g^(-1)), a good rate capability, and a robust cycling performance with no capacity fading after 2000 cycles. Ni/Co-MOF nanoflakes also showed improved electrocatalytic performance for the ORR compared to Ni-MOF and ZIF-67. 2The program structure designing and optimizing tests of GRAPES physics显示文摘According to the modularization and standardization of program structure in Global/Regional Assimilation and Prediction System (GRAPES), the plug-compatible and transplantable regional meso-scale and global middle-range physics software package is established. The package's component integrality is comparative with the other advanced models physics. A three-level structure of connecting GRAPES physics and dynamic frame has been constructed. The friendly interface is designed for users to plug in their own physics packages. Phenomenon of grid-point storm rainfall in numerical prediction is analyzed with the numerical tests. The scheme of air vertical velocity calculation is improved. Optimizing tests of physics schemes are performed with the correlative parameters adjusting. The results show that the false grid-point storm rainfall is removed by precipitation scheme improving. 3Essential roles of exosome and circRNA_101093 on ferroptosis desensitization in lung adenocarcinoma显示文摘Background:Resistance to ferroptosis,a regulated cell death caused by irondependent excessive accumulation of lipid peroxides,has recently been linked to lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD).Intracellular antioxidant systems are required for protection against ferroptosis.The purpose of the present studywas to investigate whether and how extracellular system desensitizes LUAD cells to ferroptosis.Methods:Established human lung fibroblasts MRC-5,WI38,and human LUAD H1650,PC9,H1975,H358,A549,and H1299 cell lines,tumor and matched normal adjacent tissues of LUAD,and plasma from healthy individuals and LUAD patients were used in this study.Immunohistochemistry and immunoblotting were used to analyze protein expression,and quantitative reverse transcription-PCR was used to analyze mRNA expression.Cell viability,cell death,and the lipid reactive oxygen species generationwere measured to evaluate the responses to ferroptosis.Exosomes were observed using transmission electron microscope.The localization of arachidonic acid(AA)was detected using click chemistry labeling followed by confocal microscopy.Interactions between RNAs and proteins were detected using RNA pull-down,RNA immunoprecipitation and photoactivatable ribonucleoside-enhanced crosslinking and immunoprecipitation methods.Proteomic analysis was used to investigate RNA-regulated proteins,and metabolomic analysis was performed to analyze metabolites.Cellderived xenograft,patient-derived xenograft,cell-implanted intrapulmonary LUAD mouse models and plasma/tissue specimens from LUAD patients were used to validate the molecular mechanism.Results:Plasma exosome from LUAD patients specifically reduced lipid peroxidation and desensitized LUAD cells to ferroptosis.A potential explanation is that exosomal circRNA_101093(cir93)maintained an elevation in intracellular cir93 in LUAD to modulate AA,a poly-unsaturated fatty acid critical for ferroptosisassociated increased peroxidation in the plasma membrane.Mechanistically,cir93 interacted with and increased fatty acid-binding protein 3(FABP3),which transported AA and facilitated its reaction with taurine.Thus,global AA was reduced,whereas N-arachidonoyl taurine(NAT,the product of AA and taurine)was induced.Notably,the role of NAT in suppressing AA incorporation into the plasma membrane was also revealed.In pre-clinical in vivo models,reducing exosome improved ferroptosis-based treatment.Conclusion:Exosome and cir93 are essential for desensitizing LUAD cells to ferroptosis,and blocking exosome may be helpful for future LUAD treatment.Xiao Zhang Yunhua Xu Lifang Ma Keke Yu Yongjie Niu Xin Xu Yi Shi Susu Guo Xiangfei Xue Yikun Wang Shiyu Qiu Jiangtao Cui Hong Wang Xiaoting Tian Yayou Miao Fanyu Meng Yongxia Qiao Yongchun Yu Jiayi Wang 2022Cancer Communications2022,42,4:10

5A two-step lineage reprogramming strategy to generate functionally competent human hepatocytes from fibroblasts显示文摘Terminally differentiated cells can be generated by lineage reprogramming,which is,however,hindered by incomplete conversion with residual initial cell identity and partial functionality. Here, we demonstrate a new reprogramming strategy by mimicking the natural regeneration route, which permits generating expandable hepatic progenitor cells and functionally competent human hepatocytes. Fibroblasts were first induced into human hepatic progenitor-like cells (hHPLCs), which could robustly expand in vitro and efficiently engraft in vivo. Moreover, hHPLCs could be efficiently induced into mature human hepatocytes (hiHeps) in vitro, whose molecular identity highly resembles primary human hepatocytes (PHHs). Most importantly, hiHeps could be generated in large quantity and were functionally competent to replace PHHs for drug-metabolism estimation, toxicity prediction and hepatitis B virus infection modeling. Our results highlight the advantages of the progenitor stage for successful lineage reprogramming. 7Impending HRT wave precursors to the Wenchuan M_s8.0 earthquake and methods of earthquake impending prediction by using HRT wave显示文摘We deployed four geo-electric monitoring stations in Sichuan and Yunnan provinces from 2004, using the new generation of equipment (PS-100) and technologies to capture the HRT wave earthquake precursor. Before the Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake, we recorded the HRT wave precursor at the only operating station in Hongge (HG, Δ=465 km) and found that significant impending signal had been recorded at the station in the early morning ( 0―5 am) of 12th of May, 2008. The precursor for this earthquake is consistent with precursors recorded for other strong earthquakes. The measured physical properties (geo-resistivity and telluric-current) show tidal wave period oscillations from several days to several months before the earthquakes and the amplitude of such HT oscillation increases significantly towards the occurrence of an earthquake. These HT and RT waves from the epicenter have a causal relationship with the earthquakes that happened several days later. The arrival time of two RT waves is proportional to the distance from the station to the epicenter. The estimated natural decay of the amplitude is correlated with the natural period (T0) of the earthquake fault, which is proportional to the fault length. From this relationship, we can predict the earthquake magnitude. For magnitude 6―9 earthquakes, the natural period is about 1―6 hours. Such oscillation comes from the epicenter area and they can propagate several thousand kilometers in the Earth's crust. Before a strong earthquake in the shallow crust, the conductive pore fluid will experience major changes before the fault rapture. Such fluid change will emit an oscillation in the pore fluid pressure. This is the mechanism for the HRT wave generation. Since the China Earthquake Administration funded the HRT wave short-term earth-quake prediction project in 2003, the first record of HRT precursor wave has been recorded from the 2004-12-26 Sumatra Mw9.0 earthquake with the largest epicentre distance Δ=2900 km. Thereafter, we have captured HRT waves from more than twenty strong earthquakes, which are well-matched and show repeatability, consistency and regularity. All our observation with the HRT waves demonstrate that HRT wave precursors to earthquakes indeed exist. Strong earthquakes can be predicted and short-term and impending earthquake prediction is achievable in the very near future. 13Fabrication of Fe-doped Co-MOF with mesoporous structure for the optimization of supercapacitor performances显示文摘The synergy effect between different components has attracted widespread attentions because of improved activity, selectivity and stability than single component. In this paper, we fabricated mesoporous hybrid dual-metal Co and Fe containing metallic organic framework(Co/Fe-MOF), Fe-MOF,and Co-MOF in the ionic liquid(IL)/supercritical CO2(SC)/surfactant emulsion system, and then studied the electrochemical properties of the three MOFs systematically. 14NiSe_(2)/Ni(OH)_(2) Heterojunction Composite through Epitaxial-like Strategy as High-Rate Battery-Type Electrode Material显示文摘Constructing heterojunction is a promising way to improve the charge transfer efficiency and can thus promote the electrochemical properties.Herein,a facile and effective epitaxial-like growth strategy is applied to NiSe2 nano-octahe-dra to fabricate the NiSe2-(100)/Ni(OH)2-(110)heterojunction.The heterojunction composite and Ni(OH)2(performing high electrochemical activity)is ideal high-rate battery-type supercapacitor electrode.The NiSe2/Ni(OH)2 electrode exhibits a high specific capacity of 909 C g^-1 at 1 A g^-1 and 597 C g^-1 at 20 A g^-1.The assembled asymmetric supercapacitor composed of the NiSe2/Ni(OH)2 cathode and p-phenylenediamine-functional reduced graphene oxide anode achieves an ultrahigh specific capacity of 303 C g^-1 at 1 A g^-1 and a superior energy density of 76.1 Wh kg^-1 at 906 W kg^-1,as well as an outstanding cycling stability of 82%retention for 8000 cycles at 10 A g^-1.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first example of NiSe2/Ni(OH)2 heterojunction exhibiting such remarkable supercapacitor performance.This work not only provides a promising candidate for next-generation energy storage device but also offers a possible universal strategy to fabricate metal selenides/metal hydroxides heterojunctions.Hao Mei Zhaodi Huang Ben Xu Zhenyu Xiao Yingjie Mei Haobing Zhang Shiyu Zhang Dacheng Li Wenpei Kang Dao Feng Sun 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,5:3
15Comparisons of carcass traits,meat quality,and serum metabolome between Shaziling and Yorkshire pigs显示文摘This study aims to compare the meat quality of Shaziling and Yorkshire pigs and to find the potential indicator in serum for superior meat quality.Six Shaziling and Yorkshire pigs at 30,60,90,150,210,and 300 d of age were selected to examine carcass traits,meat quality,and serum metabolome.The results showed that the body weight,carcass length,and loin eye area of Shaziling pigs at 150,210,and 300 d of age were significantly lower than those of Yorkshire pigs(P<0.05).Shaziling pigs at 150 and 300 d of age had significantly lower backfat thickness than Yorkshire pigs(P<0.05).Compared with Yorkshire pigs,Shaziling pigs at all 6 ages had a lower lean percentage and a higher fat percentage(P<0.05).At 60,90,and 150 d of age,the post-mortem pH-decline,b*value(yellowness),and drip loss of Shaziling pigs were significantly lower than those of Yorkshire pigs(P<0.05).Moreover,at 150 d of age,Shaziling pigs had significantly higher a^(*)value(redness)and intramuscular fat(IMF)content than Yorkshire pigs(P<0.05).Correlation analysis between the top 40 metabolites and phenotypes indicated that L-carnitine had positive correlations with fat percentage,pH24h,and IMF content,but had negative correlations with lean percentage,L^(*)value(lightness),and b^(*)value(P<0.05).Serum L-carnitine content,fat percentage,pH24h,and IMF content all decreased first and then increased as the pigs grew,which verified the positive correlations between L-carnitine and these phenotypes.In conclusion,Shaziling pigs have a slower growth rate but a better meat quality than Yorkshire pigs.The meat quality of Shaziling pigs is the best from 150 to 210 d of age.This study suggests that a higher serum L-carnitine content is a promising indicator for better meat quality.Bo Song Changbing Zheng Jie Zheng Shiyu Zhang Yinzhao Zhong Qiuping Guo Fengna Li Cimin Long Kang Xu Yehui Duan Yulong Yin 2022Animal Nutrition2022,,1:3

17Cholesterol homeostasis regulated by ABCA1 is critical for retinal ganglion cell survival显示文摘Genome-wide association studies have suggested a link between primary open-angle glaucoma and the function of ABCA1.ABCA1 is a key regulator of cholesterol efflux and the biogenesis of high-density lipoprotein(HDL) particles. Here, we showed that the POAG risk allele near ABCA1 attenuated ABCA1 expression in cultured cells. Consistently, POAG patients exhibited lower ABCA1 expression, reduced HDL, and higher cholesterol in white blood cells. Ablation of Abca1 in mice failed to form HDL, leading to elevated cholesterol levels in the retina. Counting retinal ganglion cells(RGCs) by using an artificial intelligence(AI) program revealed that Abca1-deficient mice progressively lost RGCs with age. Single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq) revealed aberrant oxidative phosphorylation in the Abca1-/-retina, as well as activation of the mTORC1 signaling pathway and suppression of autophagy. Treatment of Abca1-/-mice using atorvastatin reduced the cholesterol level in the retina,thereby improving metabolism and protecting RGCs from death. Collectively, we show that lower ABCA1 expression and lower HDL are risk factors for POAG. Accumulated cholesterol in the Abca1-/-retina causes profound aberrant metabolism, leading to a POAG-like phenotype that can be prevented by atorvastatin. 18A Generic Plug-and-Play Navigation Fusion Strategy for Land Vehicles in GNSS-Denied Environment显示文摘Achieving accurate navigation information by integrating multiple sensors is key to the safe operation of land vehicles in global navigation satellite system(GNSS)-denied environment.However,current multi-sensor fusion methods are based on stovepipe architecture,which is optimized with custom fusion strategy for specific sensors.Seeking to develop adaptable navigation that allows rapid integration of any combination of sensors to obtain robust and high-precision navigation solutions in GNSS-denied environment,we propose a generic plug-and-play fusion strategy to estimate land vehicle states.The proposed strategy can handle different sensors in a plug-and-play manner as sensors are abstracted and represented by generic models,which allows rapid reconfiguration whenever a sensor signal is additional or lost during operation.Relative estimations are fused with absolute sensors based on improved factor graph,which includes sensors’error parameters in the non-linear optimization process to conduct sensor online calibration.We evaluate the performance of our approach using a land vehicle equipped with a global positioning system(GPS)receiver as well as inertial measurement unit(IMU),camera,wireless sensor and odometer.GPS is not integrated into the system but treated as ground truth.Results are compared with the most common filtering-based fusion algorithm.It shows that our strategy can process low-quality input sources in a plug-and-play and robust manner and its performance outperforms filtering-based method in GNSS-denied environment.LAI Jizhou BAI Shiyu XU Xiaowei Lü Pin 2019Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2019,36,2:2
19Effects of weeding and fertilization on soil biology and biochemical processes and tree growth in a mixed stand of Dalbergia odorifera and Santalum album显示文摘In southern China,the eucalyptus plantation industry has been severely restricted by government policy over concerns on negative environmental impacts.In its place,large-scale plantations of high-value tropical tree species such as nitrogen-fixing Dalbergia odorifera and hemiparasite Santalum album have been widely cultivated including in mixed-species plantations.However,despite their poor growth,little information is available on suitable silvicultural practices of these plantations.Therefore,we subjected an 8-year-old mixed stand of D.odorifera and S.album to weeding,fertilization,weeding+fertilization,or no(CK)treatments and measured soil microbial biomass,respiration,nutrients,nitrogen mineralization and leaching and tree growth and litter production.Weeding and fertilization decreased microbial biomass but increased soil respiration,inhibited mineralization,had not effect on leaching of soil nitrogen,and improved the nutrient status of plantation soil.All practices improved the growth of D.odorifera.In the mixed plantation,fertilization increased litter production and nutrient content,but weeding and weeding+fertilization decreased growth of S.album and litter production in mixed plantation because weeding decreased the number of S.album haustoria in underground plant roots.In conclusion,fertilization is recommended;however,weeding-related practices are inappropriate for D.odorifera and S.album mixed plantations.These conclusions have important implications for managing other parasite or mixed-species plantations.Peng Zhang Xiaofei Li Shiyu Xue Zhiyi Cui Daping Xu Zengjiang Yang 2021Journal of Forestry Research2021,32,6:2
20Neurotoxicity mechanism of aconitine in HT22 cells studied by microfluidic chip-mass spectrometry显示文摘Aconitine,a common and main toxic component of Aconitum,is toxic to the central nervous system.However,the mechanism of aconitine neurotoxicity is not yet clear.In this work,we had the hypothesis that excitatory amino acids can trigger excitotoxicity as a pointcut to explore the mechanism of neurotoxicity induced by aconitine.HT22 cells were simulated by aconitine and the changes of target cell metabolites were real-time online investigated based on a microfluidic chip-mass spectrometry system.Meanwhile,to confirm the metabolic mechanism of aconitine toxicity on HT22 cells,the levels of lactate dehydrogenase,intracellular Ca^(2+),reactive oxygen species,glutathione and superoxide dismutase,and ratio of Bax/Bcl-2 protein were detected by molecular biotechnology.Integration of the detected results revealed that neurotoxicity induced by aconitine was associated with the process of excitotoxicity caused by glutamic acid and aspartic acid,which was followed by the accumulation of lactic acid and reduction of glucose.The surge of extracellular glutamic acid could further lead to a series of cascade reactions including intracellular Ca^(2+)overload and oxidative stress,and eventually result in cell apoptosis.In general,we illustrated a new mechanism of aconitine neurotoxicity and presented a novel analysis strategy that real-time online monitoring of cell metabolites can provide a new approach to mechanism analysis.Yingrui Zhang Shiyu Chen Fangfang Fan Ning Xu Xian-Li Meng Yi Zhang Jin-Ming Lin 2023Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2023,13,1:2
