1Cyanoethyl cellulose-based eutectogel electrolyte enabling high-voltage-tolerant and ion-conductive solid-state lithium metal batteries显示文摘Solid-state polymer electrolytes are an important factor in the deployment of highsafety and high-energy-density solid-state lithium metal batteries.Nevertheless,use of the traditional polyethylene oxide-based solid-state polymer electrolyte is limited due to its inherently low ionic conductivity and narrow electrochemical stability window.Herein,for the first time,we specifically designed a cyanoethyl cellulosein-deep eutectic solvent composite eutectogel as a promising candidate for hybrid solid-state polymer electrolytes.It is found that the proposed eutectogel electrolyte achieves high ionic conductivity(1.87×10^(−3) S cm^(−1) at 25℃),superior electrochemical stability(up to 4.8 V),and outstanding lithium plating/striping behavior(low overpotential of 0.04 V at 1mAcm^(−2) and 1mAh cm^(−2) over 300 h).With the eutectogel-based solid-state polymer electrolyte,a 4.45 V LiCoO_(2)/Li metal battery delivers prominent long-term lifespan(capacity retention of 85%after 200 cycles)and high average Coulombic efficiency(99.5%)under ambient conditions,significantly outperforming the traditional carbonate-based liquid electrolyte.Our work demonstrates a promising strategy for designing eutectogel-based solid-state polymer electrolytes to realize high-voltage and high-energy lithium metal batteries.Hao Zhang Lixue Zhou Xiaofan Du Jianjun Zhang Songwei Tian Tingting Liu Jinning Zhang Sijia Hu Weiling Song Xinhong Zhou Guanglei Cui 2022Carbon Energy2022,4,6:3
2First results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from CDEX-1 experiment显示文摘We report the first results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from stage one of the China dark-matter experiment(CDEX).A p-type point-contact high-purity germanium detector with a mass of 994 g has been installed to detect neutrinoless double beta decay events, as well as to directly detect dark matter particles. An exposure of 304 kg d has been analyzed over a wide spectral band from 500 keV to 3 MeV. The average event rate obtained was about 0.012 counts per keV per kg per day over the 2.039 MeV energy range. The half-life of ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay derived based on this result is T^(0ν)1/2>6.4×10^(22) yr(90% C.L.). 7Co-delivery of luteolin and TGF-β1 plasmids with ROS-responsive virus-inspired nanoparticles for microenvironment regulation and chemo-gene therapy of intervertebral disc degeneration显示文摘Intervertebral disc degeneration(IDD)is closely related to inflammation and imbalance of synthesis/catabolism of extracellular matrix(ECM)in intervertebral disc(IVD).Considering this,luteolin(LUT),a kind of natural flavonoid with good anti-inflammatory effect and TGF-β1(a gene that promotes the regeneration of ECM)plasmid was co-loaded and co-delivered to nucleus pulposus cells(NPCs).Reactive oxygen species(ROS)responsive cationic copolymer,poly(β-amino ester)-poly(ε-caprolactone)(PBC),with high plasmid DNA(pDNA)compression affinity was synthesized.It can self-assemble into nano-sized polyplexes(pDNA@PBC)with virus-inspired structure and function through which it can transfect pDNA into NPCs with very high efficiency and negligible cytotoxicity.LUT was encapsulated in the hydrophobic core of pDNA@PBC.The co-delivery system,LUT-pTGFβ1@PBC,could enhance the cellular uptake of NPCs and manifest excellent sustained drug release in IVD.Real time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)and Western blot experiments reveal that the co-delivery system could inhibit inflammation in NPCs and restore the balance of anabolism and catabolism in vitro by activating TGF/SMAD3 and inhibiting NFkB/p65.Moreover,LUT-pTGF-β1@PBC retards IDD in vivo as detected by radiological and histological methods with good biosafety in rats.LUT-pTGF-β1@PBC may be a promising option for the treatment of IDD.Yifan Ding Huan Wang Yunyun Wang Long Li Jiahui Ding Caiyan Yuan Tao Xu Haoran Xu Hui Xie Ning Zhu Xin Hu Huang Fang Songwei Tan 2022Nano Research2022,15,9:0
8Performances of a prototype point-contact germanium detector immersed in liquid nitrogen for light dark matter search显示文摘The CDEX-10 experiment searches for light weakly interacting massive particles, a form of dark matter, at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory, where approximately 10 kg of germanium detectors are arranged in an array and immersed in liquid nitrogen. Herein, we report on the experimental apparatus, detector characterization, and spectrum analysis of one prototype detector. Owing to the higher rise-time resolution of the CDEX-10 prototype detector as compared with CDEX-1 B, we identified the origin of an observed category of extremely fast events. For data analysis of the CDEX-10 prototype detector, we introduced and applied an improved bulk/surface event discrimination method. The results of the new method were compared to those of the CDEX-1 B spectrum. 9Nanoparticle-induced drag reduction for polyacrylamide in turbulent flow with high Reynolds numbers显示文摘Although having been increasingly studied, there is still controversy as to when the addition of nanoparticles could improve the drag reduction performance of polymer drag reducer and particularly what is the underlying mechanism from the fluid dynamics viewpoint. The drag reduction effects of adding SiO_(2) nanoparticles to various polymer polyacrylamide(PAM) solutions were examined in this work.The optimal combination of SiO_(2) nanoparticles with cationic polyacrylamide was confirmed.Interestingly,the addition of SiO_(2) nanoparticles to cationic polyacrylamide solution was shown to be quite efficient for reducing drag, but only at higher flow rates with Reynolds numbers more than 6000, below which the nanoparticle addition is even negative. The addition of SiO_(2) nanoparticles to the PAM solution is supposed to play a dual role. The first is an increase in flow resistance caused by the Brownian motion of nanoparticles, while the second is a decrease in flow resistance caused by acting as nodes to protect the polymer chain from shear-induced breaking under high shear action. At optimal nanoparticle concentration and under higher Reynolds numbers, the later effect is dominant, which could improve the drag reduction performance of polymer drag reducers.
