| 1 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). | 2 | He-Ar isotope geochemistry of the Yaoling-Meiziwo tungsten deposit,North Guangdong Province:Constraints on Yanshanian crust-mantle interaction and metallogenesis in SE China显示文摘Isotopic abundances and ratios of He and Ar found in inclusion fluids in pyrites formed in the Yaoling-Meiziwo tungsten miner-alization epoch show that the concentration of 4He varies widely,from 1.54×10-7 cm3 STP/g to 2609×10-7 cm3 STP/g.3He is 0.759×10-12 cm3 STP/g-3.463×10-12 cm3 STP/g.3He/4He is 0.0043-4.362 Ra,varying from crustal to mantle values.The concen-tration of 40Ar ranges from 0.624×10-7 cm3 STP/g to 8.89×10-7 cm3 STP/g.The 40Ar/36Ar varies extensively,from 330 to 2952,between atmospheric and crustal or mantle radiogenic values.Mantle-derived He is present in ore-forming fluids and the calcu-lated average proportion of the mantle He is 22%;the maximum is 67%.Our research results show that mantle-derived fluids play a significant role in tungsten mineralization.The fractionation of He and Ar indicate that there was 4He-enriched air-saturated water(MSAW) in the ore-forming fluid.The ore-forming fluid was a mixture of mantle fluid,crustal magmatic fluid and MSAW.The occurrence of a mantle component in ore-forming fluid indicates the large-scale W and Sn mineralization,including Yaol-ing-Meiziwo,in southeastern China was the result of crust and mantle interaction.The underplating or intrusion of voluminous basaltic magma formed by partial melting of the upper mantle provided the necessary heat to cause partial melting of the crust and the generation of voluminous S-type granitic magmas.Crustal magmatic fluid and mantle fluid with high 3He/4He were released from magma crystallization and fractionation,mixed with the circulating modified air-saturated water,and filled the extensional tectonic fractures,leading to the formation of world-class W and Sn deposits in southeastern China. | ZHAI Wei SUN XiaoMing WU YunShan SUN YanYan HUA RenMin YE XianRen | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,10: | 16 |

| 5 | CT image fusion in the evaluation of radiation treatment planning for non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Objective: We studied the application of CT image fusion in the evaluation of radiation treatment planning for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: Eleven patients with NSCLC, who were treated with three-dimensional con-formal radiation therapy, were studied. Each patient underwent twice sequential planning CT scan, i.e., at pre-treatment, and at mid-treatment for field reduction planning. Three treatment plans were established in each patient: treatment plan A was based on the pre-treatment planning CT scans for the first course of treatment, plan B on the mid-treatment planning CT scans for the second course of treatment, and treatment plan F on the fused images for the whole treatment. The irradiation doses received by organs at risk in the whole treatment with treatment A and B plans were estimated by the plus of the parameters in treatment plan A and B, assuming that the parameters involve the different tissues (i.e. V20=AV20+BV20), or the same tissues within an organ (i.e. Dmax=ADmax+BDmax). The assessment parameters in the treatment plan F were calculated on the basis of the DVH of the whole treatment. Then the above assessment results were compared. Results: There were marked differ-ences between the assessment results derived from the plus of assessment parameters in treatment plan A and B, and the ones derived from treatment plan F. Conclusion: When a treatment plan is altered during the course of radiation treatment, image fusion technique should be performed in the establishment of a new one. | 6 | Shale Gas Formation and Occurrence in China: An Overview of the Current Status and Future Potential显示文摘Shale gas is one of the most promising unconventional resources both in China and abroad. It is known as a form of self-contained source-reservoir system with large and continuous dimensions. Through years of considerable exploration efforts, China has identified three large shale gas fields in the Fuling, Changning and Weiyuan areas of the Sichuan Basin, and has announced more than 540 billion m^3 of proven shale gas reserves in marine shale systems. The geological theories for shale gas development have progressed rapidly in China as well. For example, the new depositional patterns have been introduced for deciphering the paleogeography and sedimentary systems of the Wufeng shale and Longmaxi shale in the Sichuan Basin. The shale gas storage mechanism has been widely accepted as differing from conventional natural gas in that it is adsorbed on organic matter or a mineral surface or occurs as free gas trapped in pores and fractures of the shale. Significant advances in the techniques of microstructural characterization have provided new insights on how gas molecules are stored in micro- and nano-scale porous shales. Furthermore, newly-developed concepts and practices in the petroleum industry, such as hydraulic fracturing, microseismic monitoring and multiwell horizontal drilling, have made the production of this unevenly distributed but promising unconventional natural gas a reality. China has 10–36 trillion m^3 of promising shale gas among the world's whole predicted technically recoverable reserves of 206.6 trillion m^3. | 8 | Storage Assignment Optimization in a Multi-tier Shuttle Warehousing System显示文摘The current mathematical models for the storage assignment problem are generally established based on the traveling salesman problem(TSP),which has been widely applied in the conventional automated storage and retrieval system(AS/RS).However,the previous mathematical models in conventional AS/RS do not match multi-tier shuttle warehousing systems(MSWS) because the characteristics of parallel retrieval in multiple tiers and progressive vertical movement destroy the foundation of TSP.In this study,a two-stage open queuing network model in which shuttles and a lift are regarded as servers at different stages is proposed to analyze system performance in the terms of shuttle waiting period(SWP) and lift idle period(LIP) during transaction cycle time.A mean arrival time difference matrix for pairwise stock keeping units(SKUs) is presented to determine the mean waiting time and queue length to optimize the storage assignment problem on the basis of SKU correlation.The decomposition method is applied to analyze the interactions among outbound task time,SWP,and LIP.The ant colony clustering algorithm is designed to determine storage partitions using clustering items.In addition,goods are assigned for storage according to the rearranging permutation and the combination of storage partitions in a 2D plane.This combination is derived based on the analysis results of the queuing network model and on three basic principles.The storage assignment method and its entire optimization algorithm method as applied in a MSWS are verified through a practical engineering project conducted in the tobacco industry.The applying results show that the total SWP and LIP can be reduced effectively to improve the utilization rates of all devices and to increase the throughput of the distribution center. | WANG Yanyan MOU Shandong WU Yaohua | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2016,29,2: | 8 |

| 10 | Study on Biogenic Amines in Various Dry Salted Fish Consumed in China显示文摘This study was carried out to investigate the biogenic amines(BAs), physicochemical property and microorganisms in dry salted fish, a traditional aquatic food consumed in China. Forty three samples of dry salted fish were gathered from retail and wholesale markets and manufacturers, which had been produced in various regions in China. Cadaverine(CAD) and putrescine(PUT) were quantitatively the most common biogenic amines. About 14% of the samples exceeded the histamine content standards established by the FDA and/or EU. The highest histamine content was found in Silver pomfret(Pampus argenteus)(347.79 mg kg^(-1)). Five of forty three samples exceeded the acceptable content of TYR(100 mg kg^(-1)), and 23.26% of dried-salted fish contained high contents of biogenic amines(above 600 mg kg^(-1)). In addition, species, regions, pickling processes and drying methods made the physicochemical property, microorganisms and biogenic amines in dry salted fish to be different to some extents. The total plate count(TPC) was much higher than that of total halophilic bacteria in all samples. The biogenic amines, physicochemical property and microbiological counts exhibited large variations among samples. Furthermore, no significant correlation between biogenic amines and physicochemical property and TPC was observed. | 12 | Acupuncture at the “Huatuojiaji” point affects nerve root regional interleukin-1 level in a rat model of lumbar nerve root compression显示文摘BACKGROUND:It has been shown that interleukin-1 (IL-1) may cause inflammatory reactions, which stimulate the nerve root of patients with lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion and leads to pain. Whether the clinical curative effects of acupuncture in the treatment of lumbar and leg pain are linked to an inhibition of local IL-1 secretion is unknown. OBJECTIVE: To assess the influence of acupuncture on IL-1, this study was designed to verify the effects of acupuncture at the 'Huatuojiaji (Extra)' point on the nerve root in a rat model of lumbar nerve root compression, compared with administration of meloxicam, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: Randomized, controlled, molecular biology experiment, performed at the Experimental Center, Sixth People’s Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University between September 2005 and April 2006. MATERIALS: Forty healthy adult Sprague Dawley rats of either gender were included in this study. The rats were randomly and evenly divided into the following four groups: normal control, model, acupuncture and meloxicam groups. Lumbar nerve root compression was induced in rats in the model, acupuncture, and meloxicam groups by inserting a specially made silicon rubber slice at the juncture of the L5 nerve root and the dural sac. The acupuncture needle (pattern number N3030, 30#, 1.5 inch) was purchased from Suzhou Medical Appliance Factory, China. IL-1 enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit was purchased from Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Inc., USA. METHODS: The acupuncture group was acupunctured at the 'Huatuojiaji' point, which is lateral to the compressed L5-6 nerve root, with an acupuncture depth of 0.5 cm. There were two treatment courses, each of involved seven 20-minute acupuncture sessions, one session a day. The meloxicam group was administered intragastrically 3.75 mg/kg meloxicam (5 mg meloxicam /10 mL physiological saline). Rats in the normal control group and model group received an intragastric administration of 10 mL/kg physiological saline. All administrations were performed once a day. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: At day 14 post-surgery, the IL-1 level in the compressed nerve root was determined by a streptavidin-peroxidase (S-P) immunohistochemical method, and IL-1β mRNA expression in the compressed nerve root was simultaneously detected by real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. RESULTS: The expression levels of IL-1 and IL-1β mRNA in the L5 nerve root were significantly higher in the model group than in the control group (P < 0.01). However, the expression levels of IL-1 and IL-1β mRNA were significantly lower in the acupuncture and meloxicam groups than in the model group (P < 0.05–0.01). Expression levels of IL-1 and IL-1β mRNA were significantly higher in the acupuncture group than in the meloxicam group (P < 0.01). | 13 | 2-Gy whole-body irradiation significantly alters the balance of CD4^(+)CD25^(-) T effector cells and CD4^(+)CD25^(+)Foxp3^(+) T regulatory cells in mice显示文摘CD4^(+)CD25^(+) T regulatory(Treg)cells are critical in inducing and maintaining immunological self-tolerance as well as transplant tolerance.The effect of low doses of whole-body irradiation(WBI)on CD41CD251Foxp31 Treg cells has not been determined.The proportion,phenotypes and function of CD4^(+)CD25^(+) Treg cells were investigated 0.5,5 and 15 days after euthymic,thymectomized or allogeneic bone marrow transplanted C57BL/6 mice received 2-Gy c-rays of WBI.The 2-Gy WBI significantly enhanced the ratios of CD41CD251 Treg cells and CD4^(+)CD25^(+)Foxp3^(+) Treg cells to CD41 T cells in peripheral blood,lymph nodes,spleens and thymi of mice.The CD41CD251 Treg cells of the WBI-treated mice showed immunosuppressive activities on the immune response of CD4^(+)CD25^(+) T effector cells to alloantigens or mitogens as efficiently as the control mice.Furthermore,2-Gy c-ray WBI significantly increased the percentage of CD4^(+)CD25^(+)Foxp3^(+) Treg cells in the periphery of either thymectomized mice or allogeneic bone marrow transplanted mice.The in vitro assay showed that ionizing irradiation induced less cell death in CD4^(+)CD25^(+)Foxp3^(+) Treg cells than in CD4^(+)CD25^(+) T cells.Thus,a low dose of WBI could significantly enhance the level of functional CD41CD251Foxp31 Treg cells in the periphery of naive or immunized mice.The enhanced proportion of CD41CD251Foxp31 Treg cells in the periphery by a low dose of WBI may make hosts more susceptible to immune tolerance induction. | Yanyan Qu Baojun Zhang Shuchun Liu Aijun Zhang Tingting Wu Yong Zhao | 2010 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2010,7,6: | 7 |

| 16 | Plasma Nesfatin-1 concentration and its correlation with HPA axis in depression model rats显示文摘Objective To explore plasma Nesfatin-1 concentration and its correlation with hypothalamic pituitary adrenal(HPA) axis in depression model rats. Methods Twelve SD rats were randomly divided into normal control group(NCG) and depression model group(DMG). DMG received 5 consecutive weeks of 7 different chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS). The behavior of rats was evaluated by an open field test,sucrose preference test,and forced swimming test(FST). The concentration of plasma corticosterone and Nesfatin-1 were measured with an enzyme-linked immuno-sorbent assay(ELISA). Results Compared with NCG,DMG had a lower weight gain,lower index of sucrose preference and spent longer time being immobile in FST while all of these differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The plasma concentrations of corticosterone and Nesfatin-1 were significantly higher in DMG than in theN CG(P<0.05). The plasma concentration of Nesfatin-1in DMG was positively correlated with the plasma corticosterone concentration. Based on urban comprehensive carrying capacity, this paper constructed a performance evaluation index system of urban comprehensive carrying capacity, and used entropy method, urban comprehensive carrying capacity measurement model and urban sustainable development model to measure spatial and temporal comprehensive carrying capacity of Harbin City in Heilongjiang Province from 2012 to 2017. The results show that: 1) index weight analysis suggested the regional development mode in Harbin still followed an epitaxial development mode, which pursued the expansion of scale and the growth of total amount of regional development, neglecting the effective utilization of resources and the improvement of structural benefits. 2) In the pressure system, the index of resource support has dropped sharply. The index of environmental capacity and social progress has risen circuitously, while the degree of agglomeration and the value of transportation facilities have risen steadily;in the pressure system, the index of population development and economic growth tended to fluctuate, while energy consumption and environmental pollution showed a more synchronous change in characteristics, and the livable demand remained at a high level. 3) The carrying capacity index of resources and environment in Harbin has been declining, and the acquired carrying capacity index fluctuated. The long-term regional development model has severely impaired the carrying capacity of resources and environment. 4) The comprehensive carrying capacity of Harbin has clear spatial differentiation characteristics. | 20 | Bushen Qiangjin capsule(补肾强筋胶囊) inhibits the Wnt/β-catenin pathway to ameliorate papain-induced knee osteoarthritis in rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the molecular mechanism underlying the beneficial effect of Bushen Qiangjin capsule(补肾强筋胶囊,BSQJ),a Traditional Chinese Medicine,on knee osteoarthritis(KOA).METHODS:In the present study,32 female Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups:control,KOA,high-dose BSQJ(H-BSQJ),and low-dose BSQJ(L-BSQJ).After successfully establishing the KOA model by intra-articular injection of papain,H-BSQJ and L-BSQJ groups were intragastrically administered 0.243 and 0.122 g/kg BSQJ,respectively,daily for 6 weeks.At the end of the experiment,knee articular cartilage tissues of rats were collected for evaluation by hematoxylin and eosin staining,Safranin O-Fast Green staining,and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated d UTP nick-end labeling assay.Serum interleukin-1βand tumor necrosis factor-αlevels of rats were detected with an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method.Gene expression of Wnt-4,β-catenin,Frizzled-2,glycogen synthase kinase-3β(GSK-3β),cysteinyl aspartate-specific proteinases 3 and 9(caspases 3 and 9),collagen typeⅡalpha 1(Col2 a1),and matrix metalloproteinases 1 and 13(MMP-1 and MMP-3)of rat knee articular cartilage was quantified by reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction analysis.Wnt-4,β-catenin,Frizzled-2,GSK-3β,cleaved caspase-3,and cleaved caspase-9 protein expression in rat knee articular cartilage was determined by western blot analysis.RESULTS:BSQJ obviously reduced pathological damage and matrix degradation of articular cartilage in KOA rats.Compared with the KOA group,H-BSQJ rats exhibited downregulated m RNA and protein expression of Wnt-4,β-catenin,Frizzled-2,and caspase-3,as well as upregulated m RNA and protein expression of GSK-3β.In addition,H-BSQJ significantly increased m RNA expression of Col2 a1 and decreased m RNA expression of MMP-1 and MMP-13.CONCLUSION:BSQJ exerted a beneficial effect on KOA by a mechanism involving downregulation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway,which inhibited both cartilage extracellular matrix degradation and chondrocyte apoptosis to ameliorate KOA in rats. | YAO Nan CHEN Guocai LU Yanyan XU Xuemeng ZHAO Chuanxi HUANG Xuejun LIU Wengang PENG Sha WU Huai | 2021 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,6: | 5 |
