| 1 | Molecular and cellular bases of chronic myeloid leukemia显示文摘Chronic myeloid leukemia(CML)is a myeloproliferative disease characterized by the overproduction of granulocytes,which leads to high white blood cell counts and splenomegaly in patients.Based on clinical symptoms and laboratory findings,CML is classified into three clinical phases,often starting with a chronic phase,progressing to an accelerated phase and ultimately ending in a terminal phase called blast crisis.Blast crisis phase of CML is clinically similar to an acute leukemia;in particular,B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia(B-ALL)is a severe form of acute leukemia in blast crisis,and there is no effective therapy for it yet.CML is induced by the BCR-ABL oncogene,whose gene product is a BCR-ABL tyrosine kinase.Currently,inhibition of BCR-ABL kinase activity by its kinase inhibitor such as imatinib mesylate(Gleevec)is a major therapeutic strategy for CML.However,the inability of BCR-ABL kinase inhibitors to completely kill leukemia stem cells(LSCs)indicates that these kinase inhibitors are unlikely to cure CML.In addition,drug resistance due to the development of BCRABL mutations occurs before and during treatment of CML with kinase inhibitors.A critical issue to resolve this problem is to fully understand the biology of LSCs,and to identify key genes that play significant roles in survival and self-renewal of LSCs.In this review,we will focus on LSCs in CML by summarizing and discussing available experimental results,including the original studies from our own laboratory. | Yaoyu Chen Cong Peng Dongguang Li Shaoguang Li | 2010 | Protein & Cell2010,1,2: | 10 |

| 4 | Three new zinc(Ⅱ) coordination polymers:Modulation of extended structures driven by assistant ligands显示文摘Three new complexes, [Zn(dtb)(4,4'-bipy)]·5H2O (1), [Zn(dtb)(bpp)]·H2O (2) and [Zn(dtb)(phen)2]·CH3CH2OH·H2O (3) (dtb = 5,5'-dithiobis(2-nitrobenzoic acid), 4,4'-bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine, bpp = 1,3-bi(4-pyridyl) propane, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), have been constructed by dtb ligand and zinc salt in the presence of different assistant N-containing ligands under hydrothermal conditions. The structures of the complexes were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Although compounds 1 and 2 are both 2D networks, the cavities’ forms and pitch of helix are different. The structure of compound 3 shows a 1D helical chain, and is extended by the supermolecule interactions into a 2D framework. | 8 | Insights into a novel nitrogen removal process based on simultaneous anammox and denitrification(SAD) following nitritation with in-situ NOB elimination显示文摘Simultaneous anammox and denitrification(SAD) is an efficient approach to treat wastewater having a low C/N ratio;however, few studies have investigated a combination of SAD and partial nitritation(PN). In this study, a lab-scale up-flow blanket filter(UBF) and zeolite sequence batch reactor(ZSBR) were continuously operated to implement SAD and PN advantages, respectively. The UBF achieved a high total nitrogen(TN) removal efficiency of over 70% during the start-up stage(days 1–50), and reached a TN removal efficiency of 96%in the following 90 days(days 51–140) at COD/NH_(4)^(+)-N ratio of 2.5. The absolute abundance of anammox bateria increased to the highest value of 1.58 × 107copies/μL DNA;Comamonadaceae was predominant in the UBF at the optimal ratio. Meanwhile, ZSBR was initiated on day 115 as fast nitritation process to satisfy the influent requirement for the UBF. The combined process was started on day 140 and then lasted for 30 days, during the combined process, between the two reactors, the UBF was the main contributor for TN(66.5% ± 4.5%)and COD(71.8% ± 4.9%) removal. These results demonstrated that strong SAD occurred in the UBF when following a ZSBR with in-situ NOB elimination. | 9 | In situ growth of hydrophilic nickel-cobalt layered double hydroxides nanosheets on biomass waste-derived porous carbon for high-performance hybrid supercapacitors显示文摘Rational design and cost-effective fabrication of layered double hydroxides(LDHs)nanosheets with extraordinary electrochemical performance is a key challenge for hybrid supercapacitors(HSCs).Herein,we report a facile in situ growth methodology to eco-friendly synthesize hydrophilic Ni Co-LDHs nanosheets on biomass waste-derived porous carbon(BC)for robust high-performance HSC cathode.The in situ growth process under ultrasonication realizes the rational arrangement of Ni Co-LDHs nanosheets on the surface of BC,which effectively increases the specific surface area,promotes the electronic conductivity and enhances the wettability of Ni Co-LDHs nanosheets without affecting their thickness values.With the beneficial effects of ultrathin thickness of LDHs nanosheets(6.20 nm),large specific surface area(2324.1 m^(2)g^(-1)),low charge transfer resistance(1.65Ω),and high wettability with electrolyte(34°–35°),the obtained Ni2Co1-LDHs/BC50 electrode possesses an ultra-high specific capacitance of 2390 F g^(-1)(956 C g^(-1))at 1 A g^(-1),which is superior to most reported values.Furthermore,an assembled Ni_(2)Co_(1)-LDHs/BC50//YP-80F HSC delivers a maximum specific energy of 52.47 Wh kg^(-1)at375 W kg^(-1),and maintains a high capacitance retention of 75.9%even after 4000 cycles.This work provides a facile approach to fabricate LDHs nanosheets based cathode materials for high-performance HSCs. | Yuchen Wang Yaoyu Liu Zuo Chen Man Zhang Biying Liu Zhenhao Xu Kai Yan | 2022 | Green Chemical Engineering2022,3,1: | 1 |

| 16 | Fundamentals and application in phytoremediation of an efficient arsenate reducing bacterium Pseudomonas putida ARS1显示文摘Arsenic is a ubiquitous environmental pollutant.Microbe-mediated arsenic biotransformations significantly infuence arsenic mobility and toxicity.Arsenic transformations by soil and aquatic organisms have been well documented,while little is known regarding effects due to endophytic bacteria.An endophyte Pseudomonas putida ARS1 was isolated from rice grown in arsenic contaminated soil.P.putida ARS1 shows high tolerance to arsenite(As(Ⅲ))and arsenate(As(V)),and exhibits efficient As(V)reduction and As(Ⅲ)effux activities.When exposed to 0.6 mg/L As(V),As(V)in the medium was completely converted to As(Ⅲ)by P.putida ARS1 within 4 hr.Genome sequencing showed that P.putida ARS1 has two chromosomal arsenic resistance gene clusters(arsRCBH)that contribute to efficient As(V)reduction and As(Ⅲ)effux,and result in high resistance to arsenicals.Wolffia globosa is a strong arsenic accumulator with high potential for arsenic phytoremediation,which takes up As(Ⅲ)more efficiently than As(V).Co-culture of P.putida ARS1 and W.globosa enhanced arsenic accumulation in W.globosa by 69%,and resulted in 91%removal of arsenic(at initial concentration of 0.6 mg/L As(V))from water within 3 days.This study provides a promising strategy for in situ arsenic phytoremediation through the cooperation of plant and endophytic bacterium. | Ze-Wen Wang Guang Yang Jian Chen Yaoyu Zhou Avelino Nunez Delgado Hui-Ling Cui Gui-Lan Duan Barry P.Rosen Yong-Guan Zhu | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,3: | 0 |

| 18 | Genome sequencing of Sitopsis species provides insights into their contribution to the B subgenome of bread wheat显示文摘Wheat(Triticum aestivum,BBAADD)is an allohexaploid species that originated from two polyploidization events.The progenitors of the A and D subgenomes have been identified as Triticum urartu and Aegilops tauschii,respectively.Current research suggests that Aegilops speltoides is the closest but not the direct ancestor of the B subgenome.However,whether Ae.speltoides has contributed genomically to the wheat B subgenome and which chromosome regions are conserved between Ae.speltoides and the B subgenome remain unclear.Here,we assembled a high-quality reference genome for Ae.speltoides,resequenced 53 accessions from seven species(Aegilops bicornis,Aegilops longissima,Aegilops searsii,Aegilops sharonensis,Ae.speltoides,Aegilops mutica[syn.Amblyopyrum muticum],and Triticumdicoccoides)and revealed their genomic contributions to the wheat B subgenome.Our results showed that centromeric regions were particularly conserved between Aegilops and Triticum and revealed 0.17 Gb of conserved blocks between Ae.speltoides and the B subgenome.We classified five groups of conserved and non-conserved genes between Aegilops and Triticum,revealing their biological characteristics,differentiation in gene expression patterns,and collinear relationships between Ae.speltoides and the wheat B subgenome.We also identified gene families that expanded in Ae.speltoides during its evolution and 789 genes specific to Ae.speltoides.These genes can serve as genetic resources for improvement of adaptability to biotic and abiotic stress.The newly constructed reference genome and large-scale resequencing data for Sitopsis species will provide a valuable genomic resource for wheat genetic improvement and genomic studies. | Yuxin Yang Licao Cui Zefu Lu Guangrong Li Zujun Yang Guangyao Zhao Chuizheng Kong Danping Li Yaoyu Chen Zhencheng Xie Zhongxu Chen Lichao Zhang Chuan Xia Xu Liu Jizeng Jia Xiuying Kong | 2023 | Plant Communications2023,4,4: | 0 |

| 20 | Green fabrication of nickel-iron layered double hydroxides nanosheets efficient for the enhanced capacitive performance显示文摘Rational synthesis of robust layered double hydroxides(LDHs) nanosheets for high-energy supercapacitors is full of challenges.Herein,we reported an ultrasonication-assisted strategy to eco-friendly fabricate NiFe-LDHs nanosheets for the enhanced capacitive behavior.The experimental results combined with different advanced characterization tools document that the utilization of ultrasonication has a profound effect on the morphology and thickness of the as-obtained NiFe-LDHs,alternatively affecting the capacitive behavior.It shows that NiFe-LDHs nanosheets prepared with 2-h ultrasonic treatments display the exceptional capacitive performance because of the synergetic effect of ultrathin thickness,large specific surface area,and high mesoporous volume.The maximum specific capacitance of Ni_(3) Fe_(1)-LDHs nanosheets with the thickness of 7.39 nm and the specific surface area of 77.16 m~2 g^(-1) reached 1923 F g^(-1),which is competitive with most previously reported values.In addition,the maximum specific energy of the assembled NiFe-LDHs//AC asymmetric supercapacitor achieved 49.13 Wh kg^(-1) at400 W kg^(-1).This work provides a green technology to fabricate LDHs nanosheets,and offers deep insights for understanding the relationship between the morphology/structure and capacitive behavior of LDHs nanosheets,which is helpful for achieving high-performance LDHs-based electrode materials. | Yuchen Wang Zuo Chen Man Zhang Yaoyu Liu Huixia Luo Kai Yan | 2022 | Green Energy & Environment2022,7,5: | 0 |
