2Robust Multiclass Classification for Learning from Imbalanced Biomedical Data显示文摘Imbalanced data is a common and serious problem in many biomedical classification tasks. It causes a bias on the training of classifiers and results in lower accuracy of minority classes prediction. This problem has attracted a lot of research interests in the past decade. Unfortunately, most research efforts only concentrate on 2-class problems. In this paper, we study a new method of formulating a multiclass Support Vector Machine (SVM) problem for imbalanced biomedical data to improve the classification performance. The proposed method applies cost-sensitive approach and ramp loss function to the Crammer and Singer multiclass SVM formulation. 3SnO2-based electron transporting layer materials for perovskite solar cells: A review of recent progress显示文摘In recent years, due to their high photo-to-electric power conversion efficiency(PCE)(up to 23%(certified)) and low cost, perovskite solar cells(PSCs) have attracted a great deal of attention in photovoltaics field. The high PCE can be attributed to the excellent physical properties of organic–inorganic hybrid perovskite materials, such as a long charge diffusion length and a high absorption coefficient in the visible range. There are different diffusion lengths of holes in electrons in a PSC device, and thus the electron transporting layer(ETL) plays a critical role in the performance of PSCs. An alternative for TiO2, to the most common ETL material is SnO2, which has similar physical properties to TiO2 but with much higher electron mobility, which is beneficial for electron extraction. In addition, there are many facile methods to fabricate SnO2 nanomaterials with low cost and low energy consumption. In this review paper, we focus on recent developments in SnO2 as the ETL of PSCs. The fabrication methods of SnO2 materials are briefly introduced. The influence of multiple Sn O2 types in the ETL on the performance of PSCs is then reviewed. Different methods for improving the PCE and long-term stability of PSCs based on SnO2 ETL are also summarized. 5Evaluation of urban river landscape design rationality based on AHP显示文摘An evaluation model for the rationality of the landscape design of urban rivers was established with the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method so as to provide a foundation for updating the landscape design of urban rivers. The evaluation system was divided into four layers, including the target layer, the comprehensive layer, the element layer, and the index layer. Each layer was made of different indices. The evaluation standards for each index were also given in this paper. This evaluation model was proved tenable through its application to the landscape design rationality evaluation of the Weihe River in Xinxiang City of Henan Province. The results show that the water quality, space, activity, facility, community, width of vegetation, sense of beauty and water content are among the most influential factors and should be considered the main basis for evaluating the rationality of the landscape design of urban rivers.Qiao Lifang Zhang Yichuan Cao Wei 2008Water Science and Engineering2008,1,4:4
6Carbon and carbon composites for thermoelectric applications显示文摘The urgent need for consistent,reliable,ecofriendly,and stable power sources drives the development of new green energy materials.Thermoelectric(TE)materials receive increasing attention due to their unique capability of realizing the direct energy conversion between heat and electricity,showing diverse applications in harvesting waste heat and low-grade heat.Carbon materials such as carbon nanotubes(CNTs)and graphene have experienced a rapid development as TE materials because of their intrinsic ultrahigh electrical conductivity and light weight.Besides,polymer-based carbon composites are particularly fascinating as the combination of the merits of polymers and filler materials leads to high TE performance and superior flexibility.Herein,the recent TE advances are systematically summarized in the studied popularity of carbon materials(ie,CNTs and graphene)and the category of polymers.The conducting polymer-based carbon materials are particularly highlighted.Finally,the remaining challenges and some tentative suggestions possibly guiding future developments are proposed,which may pave a way for a bright future of carbon and carbon composites in the energy market.Yichuan Zhang Qichun Zhang Guangming Chen 2020Carbon Energy2020,2,3:4
7Toward improved trade-off between thermoelectric and mechanical performances in polycarbonate/single-walled carbon nanotube composite films显示文摘Polymer thermoelectric(TE)composites have witnessed explosive developments in recent years,arising from their promising prospect for lightweight flexible electronics and capability of harvesting waste-heat.In sharp contrast with intrinsically conducting polymers(CPs),the insulating thermoplastics have seldom been employed as the matrices for flexible TE composites despite their advantages of low costs,controllable melt-flowing behaviors and excellent mechanical properties.Here,we report flexible films of polycarbonate/single-walled carbon nanotube(PC/SWCNT)composites with improved trade-off between TE and mechanical performances.The SWCNTs with 1D nanostructure were dramatically aligned by PC melt-flowing under hot-pressing in the radial direction.The composite maximum power factor reaches 4.8±0.8μW m^(−1) K^(−2) at 10 wt%SWCNTs in the aligned direction,which is higher than most previously reported thermoplastics-based TE composites at the same SWCNT loading and even comparable to some intrinsically CPs and their composites.In addition,these composites display significantly higher tensile modulus and strength than CPs and their composites.This study paves an effective way to fabricate flexible films of polymer composites with simultaneously high TE and mechanical performances via judicious alignment of SWCNTs in thermoplastic polymers.Yichuan Zhang Liang Deng Haicai Lv Guangming Chen 2020npj Flexible Electronics2020,4,1:3

9A model of suitability evaluation of tourism development for the suburban mining wasteland and its empirical research显示文摘The model of suitability evaluation of tourism development for suburban mining wasteland was established in Fengquan District of Xinxiang City, with measurable methods to provide the basis for its tourism development and landscape planning. The construction and evaluation of the model was conducted with AHP method from the follow-ing four aspects: ecological importance, landscape importance, economic importance and social importance, vali-dated with the case. In the established evaluation system, weight values of six indexes are higher than 0.05, among which the weight of industrial characteristics is the highest, and the weight of area, pollution conditions, air quality conditions, landscape diversity and topography were also higher. There are still seven indicators with weight values of higher than 0.02, including land price, transportation accessibility, geological conditions, water conditions, finan-cial security, distance to cities and similar competition. Weight values of five indexes are lower than 0.02, including government function, vegetation conditions, soil conditions, urban economic level and major tourism environment. We have tried to set a weighting set by AHP to avoid the shortcomings in ordinary weighting process, to perform the tourism evaluation with a maturely-developed method and solve the multi-indicator evaluation problems which in-volve the fuzziness and variability of scaling effectively. 12Growth asymmetry precedes differential auxin response during apical hook initiation in Arabidopsis显示文摘The development of a hook-like structure at the apical part of the soil-emerging organs has fascinated botanists for centuries,but how it is initiated remains unclear.Here,we demonstrate with highthroughput infrared imaging and 2-D clinostat treatment that,when gravity-induced root bending is absent,apical hook formation still takes place.In such scenarios,hook formation begins with a de novo growth asymmetry at the apical part of a straightly elongating hypocotyl.Remarkably,suchde novo asymmetric growth,but not the following hook enlargement,precedes the establishment of a detectable auxin response asymmetry,and is largely independent of auxin biosynthesis,transport and signaling.Moreover,we found that functional cortical microtubule array is essential for the following enlargement of hook curvature.When microtubule array was disrupted by oryzalin,the polar localization of PIN proteins and the formation of an auxin maximum became impaired at the to-be-hook region.Taken together,we propose a more comprehensive model for apical hook initiation,in which the microtubuledependent polar localization of PINs may mediate the instruction of growth asymmetry that is either stochastically taking place,induced by gravitropic response,or both,to generate a significant auxin gradient that drives the full development of the apical hook.Yang Peng Dan Zhang Yuping Qiu Zhina Xiao Yusi Ji Wenyang Li Yiji Xia Yichuan Wang Hongwei Guo 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,1:1

20Towards energy efficient cloud:an optimized ant colony model for virtual machine placement显示文摘A virtual machine placement optimization model based on optimized ant colony algorithm is proposed.The model is able to determine the physical machines suitable for hosting migrated virtual machines.Thus,it solves the problem of redundant power consumption resulting from idle resource waste of physical machines.First,based on the utilization parameters of the virtual machine,idle resources and energy consumption models are proposed.The models are dedicated to quantifying the features of virtual resource utilization and energy consumption of physical machines.Next,a multi-objective optimization strategy is derived for virtual machine placement in cloud environments.Finally,an optimal virtual machines placement scheme is determined based on feature metrics,multi-objective optimization,and the ant colony algorithm.Experimental results indicate that compared with the traditional genetic algorithms-based MGGA model,the convergence rate is increased by 16%,and the optimized highest average energy consumption is reduced by 18%.The model exhibits advantages in terms of algorithm efficiency and efficacy.ZHANG Liumei WANG Yichuan ZHU Lei JI Wenjiang 2016Journal of Communications and Information Networks2016,1,4:1
