| 1 | 120 mm Single-crystalline perovskite and wafers: towards viable applications显示文摘As the large single-crystalline silicon wafers have revolutionized many industries including electronics and solar cells, it is envisioned that the availability of large single-crystalline perovskite crystals and wafers will revolutionize its broad applications in photovoltaics, optoelectronics, lasers, photodetectors, light emitting diodes(LEDs), etc. Here we report a method to grow large single-crystalline perovskites including single-halide crystals: CH3NH3PbX3(X=I, Br, Cl), and dual-halide ones:CH3NH3Pb(ClxBr1.x)3 and CH3NH3Pb(BrxI1.x)3, with the largest crystal being 120 mm in length. Meanwhile, we have advanced a process to slice the large perovskite crystals into thin wafers. It is found that the wafers exhibit remarkable features:(1)its trap-state density is a million times smaller than that in the microcrystalline perovskite thin films(MPTF);(2) its carrier mobility is 410 times higher than its most popular organic counterpart P3HT;(3) its optical absorption is expanded to as high as910 nm comparing to 797 nm for the MPTF;(4) while MPTF decomposes at 150 °C, the wafer is stable at high temperature up to270 °C;(5) when exposed to high humidity(75% RH), MPTF decomposes in 5 h while the wafer shows no change for overnight;(6) its photocurrent response is 250 times higher than its MPTF counterpart. A few electronic devices have been fabricated using the crystalline wafers. Among them, the Hall test gives low carrier concentration with high mobility. The trap-state density is measured much lower than common semiconductors. Moreover, the large SC-wafer is found particularly useful for mass production of integrated circuits. By adjusting the halide composition, both the optical absorption and the light emission can be fine-tuned across the entire visible spectrum from 400 nm to 800 nm. It is envisioned that a range of visible lasers and LEDs may be developed using the dual-halide perovskites. | 2 | First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. | 3 | Constitutive modeling of viscoelastic-viscoplastic behavior of short fiber reinforced polymers coupled with anisotropic damage and moisture effects显示文摘In this paper, a combined viscoelasticity-viscoplasticity model, coupled with anisotropic damage and moisture effects, is developed for short fiber reinforced polymers (SFRPs) with different fiber contents and subjected to a variety of strain rates. In our model, a rate-dependent yield surface for the matrix phase is employed to identify initial yielding of the material. When an SFRP is loaded at small deformation before yielding, its viscoelastic behavior can be described using the generalized Maxwell model, while when plasticity occurs, a scalar internal state variable (ISV) is used to capture the hardening behavior caused by the polymeric constituent of the composite. The material degradation due to the moisture absorption of the composite is modeled by employing another type of ISV with different evolution equations. The complicated damage state of the SFRPs is captured by a second rank tensor, which is further decomposed to model the subscale damage mechanisms of micro-voids/cracks nucleation, growth and coalescence. | 4 | First results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from CDEX-1 experiment显示文摘We report the first results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from stage one of the China dark-matter experiment(CDEX).A p-type point-contact high-purity germanium detector with a mass of 994 g has been installed to detect neutrinoless double beta decay events, as well as to directly detect dark matter particles. An exposure of 304 kg d has been analyzed over a wide spectral band from 500 keV to 3 MeV. The average event rate obtained was about 0.012 counts per keV per kg per day over the 2.039 MeV energy range. The half-life of ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay derived based on this result is T^(0ν)1/2>6.4×10^(22) yr(90% C.L.). | 5 | Transient heat transfer analysis in packed beds: Entropy generation model and multi-objective optimization显示文摘Due to the important role of the unsteady heat transfer process of packed beds in industrial production,the construction of the transient heat transfer model is of great significance for the operation and optimization.The present study performs a transient thermal analysis of packed bed,in which the convective heat transfer and conductive thermal resistance within the particles are considered simultaneously.A mathematical model is established of the total entropy generations(0-t)contributed by viscous dissipation and heat transfer;the influence of particle diameter,air flow rate,and pressure drop,is then investigated.Because of the time cost,these results present some different trends from the steady-state process.Furthermore,for a laboratory heat transfer system,with the aid of the genetic algorithm we adopt a multi-objective genetic algorithm model and modified expressions of the entropy generations are set as objective functions.Finally,optimal operational and structural parameters are obtained for different fan power settings.When the fan power is 300 W,the optimal particle diameter and inlet wind speed are 14 mm and 2.4 m/s,respectively.The results also suggest that the time cost is reduced with increasing fan power consumption. | MA XiaoTeng DENG YuCheng CUI Zheng | 2019 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2019,62,11: | 2 |
| 6 | Microstructure and mechanical behavior of Mg-5Zn matrix influenced by particle deformation zone显示文摘The effect of particle deformation zone(PDZ) on the microstructure and mechanical properties of SiC_(p)/Mg-5Zn composites was studied.Meanwhile,the work hardening and so ftening behavior of SiC_(p)/Mg-5Zn composites influenced by PDZ size were analyzed and discussed using neutron diffraction under in-situ tensile deformation.The evolution of FWHM(full width at half maximum) extracted from the diffraction pattern of SiC_(p)/Mg-5Zn composites was used to interpret the modification of dislocation density during in-situ tension,which discovered the effect of dislocation on the work hardening behavior of SiC_(p)/Mg-5Zn composites.In addition,the tensile stress reduction(△P_i) values during in-situ tension test were calculated to analyze the effect of PDZ size on the softening behavior of SiC_(p)/Mg-5Zn composites.The results show that the work hardening rate of SiC_(p)/Mg-5Zn composites increased with the enlargement of PDZ size,which was attributed to the grain size of SiC_(p)/Mg-5Zn composites increased with the enlargement of PDZ size.Moreover,the stress reduction(△P_i) values increased continuously during in-situ tensile for SiC_(p)/Mg-5Zn composites due to the increased stored energy produced during plastic deformation,which provided a driving force for the softening effect.However,the effect of grain size on the softening behavior is greater than that of the stored energy,which led to the tensile stress reduction(△P_i) values of P30(d_(PDZ)=30 μm)-SiC_(p)/Mg-5Zn composite were higher than that of P60(d_(PDZ)=60 μm)-SiC_(p)/Mg-5Zn composite when the ε_(ri) were 0.25,0.5,0.75 and 1,respectively. | Quan-xin Shi Cui-ju Wang Kun-kun Deng Kai-bo Nie Yucheng Wu Wei-min Gan Wei Liang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,1: | 2 |

| 13 | 4×4 MIMO fiber-wireless transmission based on an integrated four-channel directly modulated optical transceiver显示文摘In this paper, an integrated compact four-channel directly modulated analog optical transceiver is proposed and fabricated. The 3 d B bandwidth of this optical transceiver exceeds 20 GHz, and the measured spurious-free dynamic range is up to 91.2 d B · Hz^2∕3. The optical coupling efficiency(CE) is improved by using a precise submicron alignment technique for lens coupling in a transmitter optical subassembly, and the highest CE is achieved when the oblique angle of the arrayed waveguide grating using a silica-based planar lightwave circuit(AWG-PLC) in receiver optical sub assembly is set to 42°. Based on the proposed optical transceiver, we have experimentally demonstrated a 6.624 Gbit/s 4 × 4 multi-input multioutput(MIMO) 16-quadrature amplitude modulation orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(16 QAM-OFDM) radio signal over 15.5 km standard single mode fiber, together with 1.2 m wireless transmission in both an uplink and a downlink. To cope with the channel interference and noise of the fiber-wireless transmission system, a low-complexity MIMO demodulation algorithm based on lattice reduction zero-forcing(LR-ZF) is designed. In our experiment, 1.6 d B power penalty is achieved by using the proposed LR-ZF algorithm, compared to the commonly used zero-forcing algorithm.Moreover, this LR-ZF algorithm has much less complexity than the optimal maximum-likelihood sequence estimation(MLSE) at a given transmission performance. | 14 | Gender-Specific Multi-Task Micro-Expression Recognition Using Pyramid CGBP-TOP Feature显示文摘Micro-expression recognition has attracted growing research interests in the field of compute vision.However,micro-expression usually lasts a few seconds,thus it is difficult to detect.This paper presents a new framework to recognize micro-expression using pyramid histogram of Centralized Gabor Binary Pattern from Three Orthogonal Panels(CGBP-TOP)which is an extension of Local Gabor Binary Pattern from Three Orthogonal Panels feature.CGBP-TOP performs spatial and temporal analysis to capture the local facial characteristics of micro-expression image sequences.In order to keep more local information of the face,CGBP-TOP is extracted based on pyramid subregions of the micro-expression video frame.The combination of CGBP-TOP and spatial pyramid can represent well and truly the facial movements of the micro-expression image sequences.However,the dimension of our pyramid CGBP-TOP tends to be very high,which may lead to high data redundancy problem.In addition,it is clear that people of different genders usually have different ways of micro-expression.Therefore,in this paper,in order to select the relevant features of micro-expression,the gender-specific sparse multi-task learning method with adaptive regularization term is adopted to learn a compact subset of pyramid CGBP-TOP feature for micro-expression classification of different sexes.Finally,extensive experiments on widely used CASME II and SMIC databases demonstrate that our method can efficiently extract micro-expression motion features in the micro-expression video clip.Moreover,our proposed approach achieves comparable results with the state-of-the-art methods. | Chunlong Hu Jianjun Chen Xin Zuo Haitao Zou Xing Deng Yucheng Shu | 2019 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2019,,3: | 0 |
| 15 | Performances of a prototype point-contact germanium detector immersed in liquid nitrogen for light dark matter search显示文摘The CDEX-10 experiment searches for light weakly interacting massive particles, a form of dark matter, at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory, where approximately 10 kg of germanium detectors are arranged in an array and immersed in liquid nitrogen. Herein, we report on the experimental apparatus, detector characterization, and spectrum analysis of one prototype detector. Owing to the higher rise-time resolution of the CDEX-10 prototype detector as compared with CDEX-1 B, we identified the origin of an observed category of extremely fast events. For data analysis of the CDEX-10 prototype detector, we introduced and applied an improved bulk/surface event discrimination method. The results of the new method were compared to those of the CDEX-1 B spectrum. | 16 | N-acetyldopamine dimer inhibits neuroinflammation through the TLR4/NF-κB and NLRP3/Caspase-1 pathways显示文摘Neuroinflammation mediated by microglia is an important pathophysiological mechanism in neurodegenerative diseases.However,there is a lack of effective drugs to treat neuroinflammation.N-acetyldopamine dimer(NADD)is a natural compound from the traditional Chinese medicine Isaria cicada.In our previous study,we found that NADD can attenuate DSS-induced ulcerative colitis by suppressing the NF-κB and MAPK pathways.Does NADD inhibit neuroinflammation,and what is the target of NADD?To answer this question,lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-stimulated BV-2 microglia was used as a cell model to investigate the effect of NADD on neuroinflammation.Nitric oxide(NO)detection,reactive oxygen species(ROS)detection and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)results show that NADD attenuates inflammatory signals and proinflammatory cytokines in LPS-stimulated BV-2 microglia,including NO,ROS,tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,interleukin(IL)-1βand interleukin-6(IL-6).Western blot analysis show that NADD inhibits the protein levels of Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4),nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB),NOD-like receptor thermal protein domain associated protein 3(NLRP3),ASC and cysteinyl aspartate specific proteinase(Caspase)-1,indicating that NADD may inhibit neuroinflammation through the TLR4/NF-κB and NLRP3/Caspase-1 signaling pathways.In addition,surface plasmon resonance assays and molecular docking demonstrate that NADD binds with TLR4 directly.Our study reveals a new role of NADD in inhibiting the TLR4/NF-κB and NLRP3/Caspase-1 pathways,and shows that TLR4-MD2 is the direct target of NADD,which may provide a potential therapeutic candidate for the treatment of neuroinflammation. | Lijun Huang Leiqiang Gong Xueyan Huo Lirong Lei Qi Zhang Yunjie Hu Qixuan Kuang Yu Gui Yifei Dai Yucheng Gu Yun Deng Dong Wang Dale Guo | 2023 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,1: | 0 |
