1The AGL6-like gene OsMADS6 regulates floral organ and meristem identities in rice显示文摘Although AGAMOUS-LIKE6 (AGL6) MADS-box genes are ancient with wide distributions in gymnosperms and angiosperms, their functions remain poorly understood. Here, we show the biological role of the AGL6-1ike gene, OsMADS6, in specifying floral organ and meristem identities in rice (Oryza sativa L.). OsMADS6 was strongly ex- pressed in the floral meristem at early stages. Subsequently, OsMADS6 transcripts were mainly detectable in paleas, lodicules, carpels and the integument of ovule, as well as in the receptacle. Compared to wild type plants, osmads6 mutants displayed altered palea identity, extra glume-like or mosaic organs, abnormal carpel development and loss of floral meristem determinacy. Strikingly, mutation of a SEPALLATA (SEP)-like gene, OsMADS1 (LHS1), enhanced the defect of osmads6 flowers, and no inner floral organs or glume-like structures were observed in whorls 2 and 3 of osmadsl-z osmads6-1 flowers. Furthermore, the osmadsl-z osmads6-1 double mutants developed severely indetermi- nate floral meristems. 2Rice CYP703A3, a cytochrome P450 hydroxylase, is essential for development of anther cuticle and pollen exine显示文摘Anther cuticle and pollen exine act as protective envelopes for the male gametophyte or pollen grain, but the mechanism underlying the synthesis of these lipidic polymers remains unclear. Previously, a tapetum‐expressed CYP703A3, a putative cytochrome P450 fatty acid hydroxylase, was shown to be essential for male fertility in rice(Oryza sativa L.). However,the biochemical and biological roles of CYP703A3 has not been characterized. Here, we observed that cyp703a3‐2 caused by one base insertion in CYP703A3 displays defective pollen exine and anther epicuticular layer, which differs from Arabidopsis cyp703a2 in which only defective pollen exine occurs. Consistently, chemical composition assay showed that levels of cutin monomers and wax components were dramatically reduced in cyp703a3‐2 anthers. Unlike the wide range of substrates of Arabidopsis CYP703A2, CYP703A3 functions as an in‐chain hydroxylase only for a specific substrate, lauric acid, preferably generating 7‐hydroxylated lauric acid. Moreover, chromatin immunoprecipitation and expression analyses revealed that the expression of CYP703A3 is directly regulated by Tapetum Degeneration Retardation, a known regulator of tapetum PCD and pollen exine formation. 5A New Process for Preparing Fine-ceramic-containing Composite Coatings──Flame Spray Synthesis显示文摘Flame spray synthesis (FSS), a combination of the flame spray technology and Self-propagation High-temperature Synthesis (SHS) was developed for preparing fine-ceramic-containing composite coatings. It can simplify the preparations of powder to synthesize and deposit the desired materials in one step. The preliminary results obtained from TiC-Fe cermet coatings by FSS process are reported. 6First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. 15The origins of kinetics hysteresis and irreversibility of monoclinic Li_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)显示文摘Monoclinic Li_(2)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3);is a promising cathode material with complex charge–discharge behavior.Previous structural investigation of this compound mainly focuses on local environments;while the reaction kinetics and the driving force of irreversibility of this material remain unclear.To fully understand the above issues,both the equilibrium and the non-equilibrium reaction routes have been systematically investigated in this study.Multiple characterization techniques including X-ray diffraction,variable temperature(spinning rate)and ex/in situ ^(7)Li,^(31)P solid state NMR have been employed to provide comprehensive insights into kinetics,dynamics,framework structure evolution and charge ordering,which is essential to better design and application of lithium transition metal phosphate cathodes.Our results suggest that the kinetics process between the non-equilibrium and the quasi-equilibrium delithiation pathways from Li_(2)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3);to V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3);is related with a slow relaxation from two-site to one-site delithiation.More importantly,it has been demonstrated that the irreversibility in this system is not solely affected by cation and/or charge ordering/disordering,but mainly driven by framework structure distortion.Hua Huo Zeyu Lin Guiming Zhong Shuaifeng Lou Jiajun Wang Yulin Ma Changsong Dai Yueping Xiong Geping Yin Yong Yang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,4:0
