1A scientometric review of biochar research in the past 20 years(1998-2018)显示文摘Biochar is the carbon-rich product obtained from the thermochemical conversion of biomass under oxygen-limited conditions.Biochar has attained extensive attention due to its agronomical and environmental benefits in agro-ecosystems.This work adopts the scientometric analysis method to assess the development trends of biochar research based on the literature data retrieved from the Web of Science over the period of 1998-2018.By analysing the basic characteristics of 6934 publications,we found that the number of publications grew rapidly since 2010.Based on a keyword analysis,it is concluded that scholars have had a fundamental recognition of biochar and preliminarily found that biochar application had agronomic and environmental benefits during the period of 1998-2010.The clustering results of keywords in documents published during 2011-2015 showed that the main research hotspots were“biochar production”,“biochar and global climate change”,“soil quality and plant growth”,“organic pollutants removal”,and“heavy metals immobilization”.While in 2016-2018,beside these five main research hotspots,“biochar and composting”topic had also received greater attention,indicating that biochar utilization in organic solid waste composting is the current research hotspot.Moreover,updated reactors(e.g.,microwave reactor,fixed-bed reactor,screw-feeding reactor,bubbling fluidized bed reactor,etc.)or technologies(e.g.,solar pyrolysis,Thermo-Catalytic Reforming process,liquefaction technology,etc.)applied for efficient energy production and modified biochar for environmental remediation have been extensively studied recently.The findings may help the new researchers to seize the research frontier in the biochar field.Ping Wu Syed Tahir Ata-Ul-Karim Bhupinder Pal Singh Hailong Wang Tongliang Wu Cun Liu Guodong Fang Dongmei Zhou Yujun Wang Wenfu Chen 2019Biochar2019,1,1:36

5Visualizing the emerging trends of biochar research and applications in 2019:a scientometric analysis and review显示文摘Biochar,derived from thermal pyrolysis of biomass,has been regarded as a low-cost,sustainable and beneficial material and widely applied in agriculture,environment and energy during the last two decades.To elucidate the research status timely and future trends in biochar field,CiteSpace is used to systematically analyze the related literature retrieved from the Web of Science core collection in 2019.Based on the keywords clustering analysis,it was found that“biochar production”,“organic pollutants removal”,“heavy metals immobilization”,“bioremediation”were the main hotspots in research covering biochar.“Bioremediation”is an emerging topic and deserves extensive attention due to its highly effective and environmentally friendly treatment of pollutants.Improving the phytoremediation effect,immobilizing functional microorganisms on biochar,and using microorganisms as raw materials to produce biochar were the common methods of biochar-assisted bioremediation.While studies focused on“soil quality and plant growth”and“biochar and global climate change”decreased,investigations concentrated in the toxicity of biochar to soil biota and ruminants are sustainably growing.Research on direct and catalytic thermal pyrolysis of green waste(mainly microalgae)for biofuels(bio-oil,biodiesel,syngas,etc.)and biochar production is increasing.Converting municipal wastes(e.g.,sewage sludge,fallen leaves)into biochar through pyrolysis was a suitable treatment for municipal waste and became a popular topic in recent time.Moreover,the biochar produced from these municipal wastes exhibited excellent performance in the removal of pollutants from wastewater and soil.This review may help to identify future directions in biochar research and applications.Ping Wu Zeyu Wang Hailong Wang Nanthi S.Bolan Yujun Wang Wenfu Chen 2020Biochar2020,2,2:14
6Matching mechanism analysis on an adaptive cycle engine显示文摘As a novel aero-engine concept,adaptive cycle aero-engines(ACEs) are attracting wide attention in the international aviation industry due to their potential superior task adaptability along a wide flight regime.However,this superior task adaptability can only be demonstrated through proper combined engine control schedule design.It has resulted in an urgent need to investigate the effect of each variable geometry modulation on engine performance and stability.Thus,the aim of this paper is to predict and discuss the effect of each variable geometry modulation on the matching relationship between engine components as well as the overall engine performance at different operating modes,on the basis of a newly developed nonlinear component-based ACE performance model.Results show that at all four working modes,turning down the high pressure compressor variable stator vane,the low pressure turbine variable nozzle,the nozzle throat area,and turning up the core-driven fan stage variable stator vane,the high pressure turbine variable nozzle can increase the thrust at the expense of a higher high pressure turbine inlet total temperature.However,the influences of these adjustments on the trends of various engine components' working points and working lines as well as the ratio of the rotation speed difference are different from each other.The above results provide valuable guidance and advice for engine combined control schedule design.Zheng Junchao Chen Min Tang Hailong 2017Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,2:14
7The Qitai radio telescope显示文摘This study presents a general outline of the Qitai radio telescope(QTT)project.Qitai,the site of the telescope,is a county of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China,located in the east Tianshan Mountains at an elevation of about 1800 m.The QTT is a fully steerable,Gregorian-type telescope with a standard parabolic main reflector of 110 m diameter.The QTT has adopted an umbrella support,homology-symmetric lightweight design.The main reflector is active so that the deformation caused by gravity can be corrected.The structural design aims to ultimately allow high-sensitivity observations from 150 MHz up to115 GHz.To satisfy the requirements for early scientific goals,the QTTwill be equipped with ultra-wideband receivers and large field-of-view multi-beam receivers.A multi-function signal-processing system based on RFSo C and GPU processor chips will be developed.These will enable the QTT to operate in pulsar,spectral line,continuum and Very Long Baseline Interferometer(VLBI)observing modes.Electromagnetic compatibility(EMC)and radio frequency interference(RFI)control techniques are adopted throughout the system design.The QTT will form a world-class observational platform for the detection of lowfrequency(nano Hertz)gravitational waves through pulsar timing array(PTA)techniques,pulsar surveys,the discovery of binary black-hole systems,and exploring dark matter and the origin of life in the universe.The QTT will also play an important role in improving the Chinese and international VLBI networks,allowing high-sensitivity and high-resolution observations of the nuclei of distant galaxies and gravitational lensing systems.Deep astrometric observations will also contribute to improving the accuracy of the celestial reference frame.Potentially,the QTT will be able to support future space activities such as planetary exploration in the solar system and to contribute to the search for extraterrestrial intelligence.Na Wang Qian Xu Jun Ma Zhiyong Liu Qi Liu Hailong Zhang Xin Pei Maozheng Chen Richard N.Manchester Kejia Lee Xingwu Zheng Hans J.Kärcher Wulin Zhao Hongwei Li Dongwei Li Martin Süss Matthias Reichert Zhongyi Zhu Congsi Wang Mingshuai Li Rui Li Ning Li Guljaina Kazezkhan Wenming Yan Gang Wu Lang Cui Ming Zhang Haitao Li 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,8:14
8Baicalin extracted from Huangqin(Radix Scutellariae Baicalensis) induces apoptosis in gastric cancer cells by regulating B cell lymphoma(Bcl-2)/Bcl-2-associated X protein and activating caspase-3 and caspase-9显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effects of baicalin in human gastric cancer cells, including apoptosis-inducing effects, and to investigate its underlying mechanisms of action.METHODS:Cell proliferation and apoptosis assays were performed to investigate the anti-proliferation effects of baicalin in human gastric cancer BGC-823 and MGC-803 cells.Real time-quantitative polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting analysis were performed to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying the anti-tumor properties of baicalin.RESULTS:In BGC-823 and MGC-803 gastric cancer cells treated with 80, 120, and 160 μmol/L baicalin for 48 h, a 3-(4,5-dimethyl-2-thiazolyl)-2,5-diphenyl-2-H-tetrazolium bromide assay showed that baicalin significantly inhibited cell proliferation in a dose-dependent manner, while flow cytometric analysis demonstrated that baicalin could induce apoptosis, also in a dose-dependent manner.Moreover, baicalin up-regulated the expression of caspase-3, caspase-9, and B cell lymphoma(Bcl-2)-associated X protein and down-regulated the expression of Bcl-2 at both the m RNA and protein level.CONCLUSION:Baicalin has potential as a therapeutic agent for gastric cancer by inducing apoptosis in cancer cells.Wang Hongwei Li Hailong Chen Fengqin Luo Jun Gu Jing Wang Huping Wu Hongyan Xu Yan 2017Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,2:13
9Goal Programming for Stable Mode Transition in Tandem Turbo-ramjet Engines显示文摘为保证涡轮/冲压串联组合发动机能够实现平稳的模式转换,对能够实现平稳模式转换的多变量多目标规划算法展开了研究。首先论述了所研究的变循环涡轮/冲压组合发动机的结构特点、模式转换工作点的选取原则、涡扇设计参数和冲压模式设计参数的选取原则,并给出了涡扇和冲压模式的设计点性能。针对模式转换过程的各步骤及其控制目标,发展了部件级变循环组合发动机性能模型。在此模型的基础上,把Newton-Raphson算法运用于模式转换过程的多变量多目标优化研究中。研究结果表明,该算法具有很高的收敛性,满足规划目标的最大残差仅为0.06%。最后,利用上述算法设计了模式转换过程的过渡态控制规律,并完成了平稳模式转换过程的过渡态模拟。Chen Min Tang Hailong Zhu Zhili 2009Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2009,22,5:12
10In-line imaging measurements of particle size,velocity and concentration in a particulate two-phase flow显示文摘A novel method is developed for in-line measurements of particle size, velocity and concentration in a dilute, particulate two-phase flow based on trajectory image processing. The measurement system consists of a common industrial CCD camera, an inexpensive LED light and a telecentric lens. In this work,the image pre-processing steps include stitching, illumination correction, binarization, denoising, and the elimination of unreal and defocused particles. A top-hat transformation is found to be very effective for the binarization of images with non-uniform background illumination. Particle trajectories measured within a certain exposure time are used to directly obtain particle size and velocity. The particle concentration is calculated by using the statistics of recognized particles within the field of view. We validate our method by analyzing experiments in a gas-droplet cyclone separator. 11First six months quality assessment of HY-2A SCAT wind products using in situ measurements显示文摘The first Chinese microwave ocean environment satellite HY-2A,carrying a Ku-band scatteromenter(SCAT),was successfully launched in August 2011.The first quality assessment of HY-2A SCAT wind products is presented through the comparison of the first 6 months operationally released SCAT products with in situ data.The in situ winds from the National Data Buoy Center(NDBC)buoys,R/V Polarstern,Aurora Australis,Roger Revelle and PY30-1 oil platform,were converted to the 10 m equivalent neutral winds.The temporal and spatial differences between the HY-2A SCAT and the in situ observations were limited to less than 5min and 12.5 km.For HY-2A SCAT wind speed products,the comparison and analysis using the NDBC buoys yield a bias of–0.49 m/s,a root mean square error(RMSE)of 1.3 m/s and an increase negative bias with increasing wind speed observation above 3 m/s.Although less accurate of HY-2A SCAT wind direction at low winds,the RMSE of 19.19 with a bias of 0.92 is found for wind speeds higher than 3 m/s.These results are found consistent with those from R/Vs and oil platform comparisons.Moreover,the NDBC buoy comparison results also suggest that the accuracy of HY-2A SCAT winds is consistent over the first half year of 2012.The encouraging assessment results over the first 6 months show that wind products from HY-2A SCAT will be useful for scientific community.WANG He ZHU Jianhua LIN Mingsen HUANG Xiaoqi ZHAO Yili CHEN Chuntao ZHANG Youguang PENG Hailong 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,11:10
12Quality assessment of randomized controlled trials reporting on knee osteoarthritis treated with warming needle moxibustion显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the quality of randomized controlled trials(RCTs) testing the efficacy of warming needle moxibustion on knee osteoarthritis(KOA).METHODS: Nine databases were searched systematically including: the Cochrane Library(1/1993-10/2012), Pub Med(1/1980-10/2012), EMBASE(1/1990-10/2012), SCI Expanded(1/1986-10/2012), Science Direct(1/1979-10/2012), Chinese Biomedical Literature Database disc(1/1978-10/2012), China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database(1/1979-10/2012), China Science and Technology Journal Database(a full text issue database of China, 1/1989-10/2012), and Wanfang Database(a full text issue database of China, 1/1990-10/2012). Traditional reference retrieval was also conducted. Language was limited to Chinese and English. We identified 37 RCTs that used warming needle moxibustion as an intervention and they were assessed with the Consolidated Standards for Reporting of Trials Statement 2010(CONSORT 2010) and Standards for Reporting Interventions Controlled Trials of Acupuncture 2010(STRICTA 2010).RESULTS: Of the 37 reports, only seventeen(45.95%) mentioned the random allocation of sequence methods, nine used unacceptable methods, and only one(2.70%) gave the description of the mechanism of allocation concealment. One study(2.70%) mentioned blinding, one(2.70%) had a sample size calculation, and twenty-three(62.16%) used reasonable statistical methods. Thirteen(35.14%) described the background and reason for the RCTs, three(8.11%) gave a description of lost or eliminated patients, and two(5.41%) reported accidental situations. Only three(8.11%)gave analysis of the RCT limitations. No report mentioned intentional analysis.CONCLUSION: The quality of the RCTs assessed in this study was from moderate to low. The design of RCTs, the methods of statistical analysis, and the description of reports information needs to be improved. 13Abundance of antibiotic resistance genes and their association with bacterial communities in activated sludge of wastewater treatment plants: Geographical distribution and network analysis显示文摘Wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs) are deemed reservoirs of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs). Bacterial phylogeny can shape the resistome in activated sludge. However, the co-occurrence and interaction of ARGs abundance and bacterial communities in different WWTPs located at continental scales are still not comprehensively understood. Here, we applied quantitative PCR and Miseq sequence approaches to unveil the changing profiles of ARGs(sul1, sul2, tet W, tet Q, tet X), int I1 gene, and bacterial communities in 18 geographically distributed WWTPs. The results showed that the average relative abundance of sul1 and sul2 genes were 2.08 × 10^(-1) and 1.32 × 10^(-1) copies/16 S rRNA copies, respectively. The abundance of tet W gene was positively correlated with the Shannon diversity index(H′), while both studied sul genes had significant positive relationship with the int I1 gene. The highest average relative abundances of sul1, sul2, tet X, and int I1 genes were found in south region and oxidation ditch system. Network analysis found that 16 bacterial genera co-occurred with tet W gene. Co-occurrence patterns were revealed distinct community interactions between aerobic/anoxic/aerobic and oxidation ditch systems. The redundancy analysis model plot of the bacterial community composition clearly demonstrated that the sludge samples were significant differences among those from the different geographical areas,and the shifts in bacterial community composition were correlated with ARGs. The governing equations of the interaction system are established first, and the solution procedure and assembly method of the coupling element are demonstrated. Finally, the accuracy, efficiency and function of the integrated coupling element are tested using two numerical examples. 16Mechanism of low thermal conductivity of xonotlite-silica aerogel nanoporous super insulation material显示文摘In an effort to incorporate the low thermal conductivity of the silica aerogel and the superior structure strength of the xonotlite,a composite material of these two was produced. It was synthesized under vacuum condition and dried by supercritical drying technique. The thermal conductivity of the new material,which is at 298K with the gas pressure ranging from 1.01×105 to 1×10-2Pa,was measured using the transient hot-strip method. The mechanism of the low thermal conductivity was studied. The re-sults indicate that the low thermal conductivity mainly results from the significant decrease of gaseous thermal conductivity of the new material due to the restriction of the motion of gas molecules in its fine structures. 17Bile acids evoke placental inflammation by activating Gpbar1/NF-κB pathway in intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy显示文摘Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy(ICP)is a cholestatic disorder with potentially deleterious consequences for fetuses.Although a clear correlation between the elevated levels of maternal serum bile acids and deficient fetal outcome has been established in clinical practice,the underlying mechanisms remain elusive.Herein,we report that bile acids induce NF-κB pathway activation via G protein-coupled bile acid receptor 1(Gpbar1),with consequent upregulation of inflammatory genes in trophoblasts,leading to aberrant leukocyte infiltration and inflammation in placenta.Ursodeoxycholic acid(UDCA),a drug used clinically to treat ICP,competes with other bile acids for binding with Gpbar1 and thus inhibits bile acid-induced inflammatory response in trophoblasts and improves fetal survival in pregnant rats with obstructive cholestasis.Notably,inhibition of NF-κB by andrographolide is more effective than UDCA in benefiting placentas and fetuses.Thus,anti-inflammation therapy targeting Gpbar1/NF-κB pathway could be effective in suppressing bile acid-induced inflammation and alleviating ICP-associated fetal disorders.YouHua Zhang YouDong Pan ChangDong Lin YaJuan Zheng Hao Sun HaiLong Zhang JunLei Wang MengYa Yuan Tao Duan QiaoLing Du JianFeng Chen 2016Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2016,8,6:8
18Methods to determine stress profile in ALT based on theoretical life models显示文摘With the recent products being more reliable,engineers cannot obtain enough failure or degradation information through the design period and even the product lifetime,therefore,accelerated life test(ALT)has become the most popular way to quantify the life characteristics of products.Test design is the most essential topic,such as testing duration,stress profile,data inference,etc.In this paper,a method and procedure based on theoretical life models is proposed to determine the accelerated stress profile.Firstly,the method for theoretical life calculation is put forward based on the main failure mechanism analysis and the theoretical life models.Secondly,the method is provided to determine the accelerated stress profile,including the method to determine the accelerated stress types and the stress range on the basis of the main failure mechanism analysis,the method to determine the acceleration factor and the accelerated stress level based on life quantitative calculation models,and the collaborative analysis method of the accelerated test time while taking the multiple failure mechanisms into consideration.Lastly,the actuator is taken as an example to describe the procedure of the method and the engineering applicability and the validity are verified.Chen Yunxia Jing Hailong Liao Xun Kang Rui 2015Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,3:7
19The validation of the significant wave height product of HY-2altimeter–primary results显示文摘The HY-2 satellite was successfully launched on 16 August 2011.The HY-2 significant wave height(SWH)is validated by the data from the South China Sea(SCS)field experiment,National Data Buoy Center(NDBC)buoys and Jason-1/2 altimeters,and is corrected using a linear regression with in-situ measurements.Compared with NDBC SWH,the HY-2 SWH show a RMS of 0.36 m,which is similar to Jason-1 and Jason-2 SWH with the RMS of 0.35 m and 0.37 m respectively;the RMS of corrected HY-2 SWH is 0.27 m,similar to 0.27 m and 0.23 m of corrected Jason-1 and Jason-2 SWH.Therefore the accuracy of HY-2 SWH products is close to that of Jason-1/2 SWH,and the linear regression function derived can improve the accuracy of HY-2 SWH products.CHEN Chuntao ZHU Jianhua LIN Mingsen ZHAO Yili HUANG Xiaoqi WANG He ZHANG Youguang PENG Hailong 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,11:7
20Work-family conflict and job burn-out among Chinese doctors:the mediating role of coping styles显示文摘Background Burn-out among doctors threatens their own health, and that of their patients. To identify risk factors of the doctor burn-out is vital to improving their health and increasing the quality of healthcare services.This study aims to explore the relationship between workfamily conflict(WFC) and burn-out among Chinese doctors and the mediating role of coping styles in this relationship.Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted in China, with a questionnaire packet which consisted of the Chinese Maslach Burnout Inventory(CMBI), WFC Scale and the Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire(SCSQ). A total of 2530 doctors participated in the survey. Correlation analysis was performed to explore the relationship between CMBI, WFC and SCSQ scores. A linear regression model was set to determine the mediating role of coping styles on the relationship between WFC and burn-out.Results Doctors who had higher scores on work interfering with family conflict, reported more emotional exhaustion(r=0.514, P<0.001) and had a sense of accomplishment(r=-0.149, P<0.001). Simultaneously,family interfering with work(FIW) was positively associated with all dimensions of burn-out(r=0.213,0.504,0.088,respectively, P<0.001). Coping styles had partial, complete and even mediating effects on the relationship between WFC and burn-out among Chinese doctors.Conclusions WFC was correlated with burn-out, and coping style was a mediator in this relationship among Chinese doctors.
