1Acupuncture therapy for angina pectoris:a systematic review显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture therapy for angina pectoris.METHODS:Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) concerned with acupuncture treatment of angina pectoris were identified by searching Academic Source Premier,MEDLINE,Science Citation Index Expanded,and three Chinese databases(China biology medicine database,China national knowledge infrastructure,and VIP database for Chinese technical periodicals).The valid data were extracted in accordance with our inclusion and exclusion criteria.The main outcomes of the included studies were synthesized using Revman 5.1.RESULTS:Twenty-one articles on 16 individual studies were included and evaluated as having high or moderate risk of bias according to the standards of the Cochrane Collaboration.Meta-analysis indicated that acupuncture combined with conventional drugs(ACCD) was superior to conventional drugs alone in reducing the incidence of acute myocardial infarction(AMI) [OR=0.18,95%CI(0.04,0.84),P=0.03].Moreover,ACCD was superior to conventional drugs in the relief of angina symptoms [OR=4.23,95%CI(2.73,6.56),P<0.00001],and improvement of electrocardiography(ECG) [OR=2.61,95%CI(1.83,3.73),P<0.00001].Acupuncture by itselfwasalsosuperiortoconventionaldrugsforanginasymptoms[OR=3.59,95%CI(1.76,7.92),P=0.0004] and ECG improvement [OR=3.07,95%CI(1.54,6.10),P=0.001].ACCD was superior to conventional drugs in shortening the time to onset of angina relief [WMD=-1.40,95% CI(-1.65,-1.15),P< 0.00001].However,the time to onset was significantly longer for acupuncture treatment than for conventional treatment alone [WMD=2.43,95%CI(1.63,3.23),P<0.000 01].CONCLUSION:ACCD reduced the occurrence of AMI,and both acupuncture and ACCD relieved angina symptoms and improved ECG.However,compared with conventional treatment,acupuncture showed a longer delay before its onset of action.This indicates that acupuncture is not suitable for emergency treatment of heart attack.Owing to the poor quality of the current evidence,the findings of this systematic review need to be verified by more RCTs to enhance statistical power.Ji Chen Yulan Ren Yong Tang Zhengjie Li Fanrong Liang 2012Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,4:10
2First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. 3First results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from CDEX-1 experiment显示文摘We report the first results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from stage one of the China dark-matter experiment(CDEX).A p-type point-contact high-purity germanium detector with a mass of 994 g has been installed to detect neutrinoless double beta decay events, as well as to directly detect dark matter particles. An exposure of 304 kg d has been analyzed over a wide spectral band from 500 keV to 3 MeV. The average event rate obtained was about 0.012 counts per keV per kg per day over the 2.039 MeV energy range. The half-life of ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay derived based on this result is T^(0ν)1/2>6.4×10^(22) yr(90% C.L.). 8The first local case of mpox caused by an imported case in the Chinese mainland显示文摘Monkeypox (mpox) is a zoonotic disease caused by the mpox virus (MPXV) that has been primarily limited to Central and West African nations since its discovery. The recent spread of the West African lineage of MPXV in historically unaffected countries has raised concerns for global public health. Despite a significant decrease in global mpox cases, there is still a risk of a global resurgence. This study reports the first local case of mpox caused by an imported case in the Chinese mainland. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) diagnosed the two cases, and the viral genomes were obtained by next-generation sequencing. 11Performances of a prototype point-contact germanium detector immersed in liquid nitrogen for light dark matter search显示文摘The CDEX-10 experiment searches for light weakly interacting massive particles, a form of dark matter, at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory, where approximately 10 kg of germanium detectors are arranged in an array and immersed in liquid nitrogen. Herein, we report on the experimental apparatus, detector characterization, and spectrum analysis of one prototype detector. Owing to the higher rise-time resolution of the CDEX-10 prototype detector as compared with CDEX-1 B, we identified the origin of an observed category of extremely fast events. For data analysis of the CDEX-10 prototype detector, we introduced and applied an improved bulk/surface event discrimination method. The results of the new method were compared to those of the CDEX-1 B spectrum.
