| 1 | YAP promotes osteogenesis and suppresses adipogenic differentiation by regulatingβ-catenin signaling显示文摘YAP(yes-associated protein) is a transcriptional factor that is negatively regulated by Hippo pathway, a conserved pathway for the development and size control of multiple organs. The exact function of YAP in bone homeostasis remains controversial. Here we provide evidence for YAP's function in promoting osteogenesis, suppressing adipogenesis, and thus maintaining bone homeostasis.YAP is selectively expressed in osteoblast(OB)-lineage cells. Conditionally knocking out Yap in the OB lineage in mice reduces cell proliferation and OB differentiation and increases adipocyte formation, resulting in a trabecular bone loss. Mechanistically, YAP interacts with β-catenin and is necessary for maintenance of nuclear β-catenin level and Wnt/β-catenin signaling. Expression of β-catenin in YAP-deficient BMSCs(bone marrow stromal cells) diminishes the osteogenesis deficit. | 7 | Tribological properties of Cu-based composites with S-doped NbSe_2显示文摘n this study, S-doped Nb Se_2(NbS_(0.2)Se_(1.8)) powders were fabricated, and the corresponding Cu-based composites(Cu/Nb S_(0.2)Se_(1.8)) were obtained by powder metallurgy technique. The phase compositions, physical, and tribological properties of Cu-based composites were investigated systematically. The results show that Cu matrix reacts with Nb S_(0.2)Se_(1.8)to produce Cu_2 Se and Cu_(0.38) Nb S_(0.2)Se_(1.8)during sintering process, which influences the physical and tribological properties of Cu-based composites significantly. Specially, with Nb S_(0.2)Se_(1.8)content increasing, the density of Cu/Nb S_(0.2)Se_(1.8)composites decreases, and the hardness increases firstly and then decreases, while the electric resistivity increases slightly. In addition, the incorporation of Nb S_(0.2)Se_(1.8)enhances the tribological properties of Cu greatly, which is attributed to the lubricating effect of Cu_(0.38) Nb S_(0.2)Se_(1.8)and the reinforcement effect of Cu_2 Se. | 16 | Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector.Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors.In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected.This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle.Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 17 | 骶骨肿瘤切除术中运用动脉气囊阻塞技术减少出血的临床研究显示文摘背景:动脉气囊阻塞技术已在骶骨肿瘤手术中被用来减少术中的大出血。本回顾性临床研究的目的是确定骶骨肿瘤手术动脉气囊阻塞技术在减少术中及术后出血的有效性及分析其并发症。方法:回顾研究1997至2009年接受手术治疗的215例骶骨肿瘤患者,95例患者在接受骶骨肿瘤切除术时未采用动脉气囊阻塞技术,而另外120例患者在术中使用了该技术。患者性别、年龄、可能影响出血的因素以及总的出血量(包括术中及术后)等信息均来自病案记录,对两组数据进行比较研究。结果:患者性别、年龄、肿瘤恶性分级、肿瘤血供、肿瘤部位、肿瘤复发率或术前放疗比例、手术入路以及切除方式,两组间无显著性差别。接受动脉气囊阻塞组患者平均肿瘤体积更大,骶骨重建率更大,平均手术时间更长,然而该组病例平均总出血量(2963ml)及平均术中出血量(2236ml)均比未接受动脉气囊阻塞组患者低(分别为4337ml和3935m1)(p〈0.001)。与动脉气囊阻塞相关的并发症包括3例股动脉栓塞和5例穿刺部位血肿。结论:动脉气囊阻塞技术可减少需广泛切除手术的骶骨肿瘤患者总出血量及术中出血量。动脉气囊阻塞相关的并发症发生率较低。 | Xiaodong Tang Wei Guo Rongli Yang Shun Tang Sen Dong 袁高翔(译) 张伟滨(译) | 2010 | 中华骨科杂志2010,30,12: | 0 |
