Comprehensive early warning of rock burst utilizing microseismic multi-parameter indices显示文摘Rock bursts have become one of the most severe risks in underground coal mining and its early warning is an important component in the safety management. Microseismic(MS) monitoring is considered potentially as a powerful tool for the early warning of rock burst. In this study, an MS multi-parameter index system was established and the critical values of each index were estimated based on the normalized multi-information warning model of coal-rock dynamic failure. This index system includes bursting strain energy(BSE) index, time-space-magnitude independent information(TSMII) indices and timespace-magnitude compound information(TSMCI) indices. On the basis of this multi-parameter index system, a comprehensive analysis was conducted via introducing the R-value scoring method to calculate the weights of each index. To calibrate the multi-parameter index system and the associated comprehensive analysis, the weights of each index were first confirmed using historical MS data occurred in LW402102 of Hujiahe Coal Mine(China) over a period of four months. This calibrated comprehensive analysis of MS multi-parameter index system was then applied to pre-warn the occurrence of a subsequent rock burst incident in LW 402103. The results demonstrate that this multi-parameter index system combined with the comprehensive analysis are capable of quantitatively pre-warning rock burst risk. | Linming Dou Wu Cai Anye Cao Wenhao Guo | 2018 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2018,28,5: | 9
PGE2 activates EP4 in subchondral bone osteoclasts to regulate osteoarthritis显示文摘Prostaglandin E2(PGE2), a major cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2) product, is highly secreted by the osteoblast lineage in the subchondral bone tissue of osteoarthritis(OA) patients. However, NSAIDs, including COX-2 inhibitors, have severe side effects during OA treatment. Therefore, the identification of novel drug targets of PGE2 signaling in OA progression is urgently needed. Osteoclasts play a critical role in subchondral bone homeostasis and OA-related pain. However, the mechanisms by which PGE2 regulates osteoclast function and subsequently subchondral bone homeostasis are largely unknown. Here, we show that PGE2 acts via EP4 receptors on osteoclasts during the progression of OA and OA-related pain. Our data show that while PGE2 mediates migration and osteoclastogenesis via its EP2 and EP4 receptors, tissue-specific knockout of only the EP4 receptor in osteoclasts(EP4 Lys M) reduced disease progression and osteophyte formation in a murine model of OA. Furthermore, OA-related pain was alleviated in the EP4 Lys M mice, with reduced Netrin-1 secretion and CGRP-positive sensory innervation of the subchondral bone. The expression of plateletderived growth factor-BB(PDGF-BB) was also lower in the EP4 Lys Mmice, which resulted in reduced type H blood vessel formation in subchondral bone. Importantly, we identified a novel potent EP4 antagonist, HL-43, which showed in vitro and in vivo effects consistent with those observed in the EP4 Lys Mmice. Finally, we showed that the Gαs/PI3 K/AKT/MAPK signaling pathway is downstream of EP4 activation via PGE2 in osteoclasts. Together, our data demonstrate that PGE2/EP4 signaling in osteoclasts mediates angiogenesis and sensory neuron innervation in subchondral bone, promoting OA progression and pain, and that inhibition of EP4 with HL-43 has therapeutic potential in OA. | Wenhao Jiang Yunyun Jin Shiwei Zhang Yi Ding Konglin Huo Junjie Yang Lei Zhao Baoning Nian Tao PZhong Weiqiang Lu Hankun Zhang Xu Cao Karan Mehul Shah Ning Wang Mingyao Liu Jian Luo | 2022 | Bone Research2022,10,2: | 7
Post-marketing safety surveillance and reevaluation of Motherwort injection:A clinical study of 10094 cases显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the safety profiles of Motherwort injection(MI).METHODS:A multi-center,prospective and drugderived hospital intensive monitoring method was conducted to assess the safety of MI in real world applications. This study was based on a very large population after the injection was approved and marketed in China. All patients using the injection in participating hospitals were monitored to determine the incidence, pattern, severity and outcome of associated adverse events.RESULTS:The post-marketing surveillance was performed in 10 094 female patients from April to December,2015.The incidence of adverse drug reactions(ADRs) was 0.79‰(8/10 094).Among the 8 patients, the reported adverse events mainly included systemic abnormalities, such as fever, chills and eyelid edema;skin and appendages disorders, such as pruritus and rash;gastrointestinal disorders, such as nausea, abdominal distension and pain;heart rate and rhythm disorders, such as palpitation and increased heart rate. All of these ADRs were mild in severity.CONCLUSION:In this study the ADRs incidence rate of MI is very low, which supports that it is generally safe for use in obstetric and gynecological diseases. However, the total number of 8 ADRs recorded over a relatively short time span seems limited, and the low number of reports could not represent an absolute guarantee of safety. | Cao Shan Zhang Wenhao Zhao Ziwei Heng Mingli Bu Huaien Wang Hongwu Liu Xinghui Wang Zhong Cai Yan Ma Yuyan Cui Shihong Deng Jihong Ding Guifeng Ding Yajuan Dong Linhong Duan Zhentao Fan Ling Fan Yang Fu Fen He Jing Ji Shuying Jin Lin Li Hong Li Hongying Liao Tao Lu Wei Luo Xiucui Lü Zhihui Ma Fengchun Ma Dafeng Shi Tianyun Sun Juying Sun Xiaotong Teng Hong Wang Jinhua Wang Ruihua Wang Ying Wang Zhengling Xi Jie Xu Minjuan Xu Zhihong Yan Qian Yang Cuirong Yang Yimei Yin Jie Yu Jinhua Yuan Wenjun Zhang Guanli Zhang Meihua Zhao Renfeng Zhong Yonghong Zhou Jian | 2018 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2018,38,4: | 4
MiR-135a biogenesis and regulation in malignancy:a new hope for cancer research and therapy显示文摘MicroRNAs(miRNAs)are evolutionarily conserved small non-coding RNAs that affect posttranscriptional regulation by binding to the 3′-untranslated region of target messenger RNAs.MiR-135a is a critical miRNA that regulates gene expression, and many studies have focused on its function in cancer research.MiR-135a is dysregulated in various cancers and regulates cancer cell proliferation and invasionvia several signaling pathways, such as the MAPK and JAK2/STAT3 pathways.MiR-135a has also been found to promote or inhibit the epithelial-mesenchymal transition and chemoresistance in different cancers.Several studies have discovered the value of miR-135a as a novel biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. These studies have suggested the potential of therapeutically manipulating miR-135a to improve the outcome of cancer patients.Although these findings have demonstrated the role of miR-135a in cancer progression and clinical applications,a number of questions remain to be answered, such as the dual functional roles of miR-135a in cancer. In this review,we summarize the available studies regarding miR-135a and cancer, including background on the biogenesis and expression of miR-135a in cancer and relevant signaling pathways involved in miR-135a-mediated tumor progression. We also focus on the clinical application of miR-135a as a biomarker in diagnosis and as a therapeutic agent or target in cancer treatment, which will provide a greater level of insight into the translational value of miR-135a. | Zhe Cao Jiangdong Qiu Gang Yang Yueze Liu Wenhao Luo Lei You Lianfang Zheng Taiping Zhang | 2020 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,3: | 4
High-risk phenotypes of genetic disease in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit population显示文摘To the Editor: Genetic diseases contribute to 35% of deaths during the first year of life and are a significant cause of intensive care.[1] A previous study based on the China Neonatal Genomes Project investigated the genetic causes of early infant deaths and found that >25% of deceased neonates with genetic diagnoses can be cured if diagnosed in time.[2] Therefore, it is crucial to target and diagnose neonates with genetic diseases as early as possible. According to our experience, the typical phenotypes, such as special facial features or multiple congenital anomalies (MCAs), indicate a high risk of genetic disease and lead physicians to perform genetic testing in neonates as early as possible. However, in practice, infants without typical phenotypes typically undergo a long and costly diagnostic process before genetic diagnoses are confirmed. Moreover, a recent survey by the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG) and other national professional organizations indicated that there are insufficient numbers of qualified geneticists to fulfil genetic service needs.[3] The ACMG published the general clinical features for genetic testing indications. For example, patients with phenotypes or family history data that strongly implicate a genetic cause may undergo genetic testing.[1] However, the study indicated that many genetic conditions arise de novo or are inherited with no family history.[1] A previous study attempted to apply the non-phenotype-driven panel approach in neonates admitted to the neonate intensive care unit (NICU).[4] However, at present, the diagnostic yield is only 3.45% (1/29).[4] In addition, the economic and ethical issues associated with genomic screening remain challenging. Therefore, the available indications for genetic testing may improve the management of genetic diseases. | Tiantian Xiao Qi Ni Huiyao Chen Huijun Wang Lin Yang Bingbing Wu Yun Cao Guoqiang Cheng Laishuan Wang Liyuan Hu Hongfang Mei Yulan Lu Mengchun Gong Xinran Dong Wenhao Zhou | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,5: | 2

Roof filling control technology and application to mine roadway damage in small pit goaf显示文摘To recover coal resources that have been damaged by traditional mining methods and ensure stability of the lower roadway in a small pit goaf, the goaf area must be filled and reinforced. In this research, the 1202 working face of the Hanzui mine is considered as an example for classifying the roof of the mining tunnel under the small kiln destruction zone, the effect of the goaf on the roadway is determined based on the radio tunnel penetration method,a mechanical model to determine the roof filling control mechanism was established, and the duct foaming system and roof filling process were designed. The results show that the scope and degree of influence of the goaf on the mining lane are large, but safe tunneling can be ensured through the use of a steel shed and advanced grouting techniques. When the roof conditions are not similar, materials with different filling heights and filling strengths can be used to control the roof filling of the roadway.By combining field experience and laboratory tests,it was determined that a high-foaming material with a water-cement ratio of 1:0.6,a suitable high-foaming additive, and a water volume ratio of 1:30 is cost-efficient for filling and meets the filling strength requirements. Finally, the reliability of the proposed technology was verified by field experiments, which provide a reference for filling operations in similar mines. | Weiyi Cai Zechao Chang Dongsheng Zhang Xufeng Wang Wenhao Cao Yazhou Zhou | 2019 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2019,29,3: | 2
DCLK1 autoinhibition and activation in tumorigenesis显示文摘Doublecortin-like kinase 1(DCLK1)is upregulated in many tumors and is a marker for tumor stem cells.Accumulating evidence suggests DCLK1 constitutes a promising drug target for cancer therapy. However, the regulation of DCLK1 kinase activity is poorly understood, particularly the function of its autoinhibitory domain(AID),and, moreover,no physiological activators of DCLK1 have presently been reported. Here we determined the first DCLK1 kinase structure in the autoinhibited state and identified the neuronal calcium sensor HPCAL1 as an activator of DCLK1.The C-terminal AID functions to block the ATP-binding site and is competitive with ATP.HPCAL1 binds directly to the AID in a Ca^(2+)-dependent manner, which releases the autoinhibition. We also analyzed cancer-associated mutations occurring in the AID and elucidate how these mutations disrupt DCLK1 autoinhibition to elicit kinase activity upregulation. Our results present a molecular mechanism for autoinhibition and activation of DCLK1 kinase activity and provide insights into DCLK1-associated tumorigenesis. | Linna Cheng Zejing Yang Wenhao Guo Chengyong Wu Shufang Liang Aiping Tong Zhongwei Cao Rick F.Thorne Sheng-Yong Yang Yamei Yu Qiang Chen | 2022 | The Innovation2022,3,1: | 1
RNAi knockdown of C-erbB2 expression inhibits salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma SACC-83 cell growthin vitro显示文摘Objective:To knockdown the C-erbB2 gene in salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma SACC-83 cells using RNA interference, and determine the effect of silencing C-erbB2 on cell proliferation.Methods:C-erbB2-siRNA was transfected into SACC-83 cells.RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry were used to detect C-erbB2 expression in SACC-83 cells.Cell proliferation was measured by the MTT assay and gene knockdown was achieved by RNA interference.Apoptosis was analyzed by flow cytometry. Results:Compared with the control,C-erbB2 mRNA expression was decreased in the C-erbB2-siRNA transfection group, and immunohistochemical analysis indicated that C-erbB2 protein expression was decreased. After C-erbB2-siRNA was transfected for 48 h,absorbance at 570 nm (MTT)was 0.185±0.021 compared with 0.354±0.034,0.299±0.053,and 0.314±0.049 in the blank control, liposome control and negative control siRNA groups, respectively. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05)between the C-erbB2-siRNA group and the control groups.Following the C-erbB2 knockdown, the percentage of apoptotic cells was 5.63%compared with 2.04%,2.85%,and 2.98%in the three control groups, respectively.Proliferation of SACC-83 cells was inhibited, and early apoptotic cells were increased. Conclusion: RNA interference can effectively silence C-erbB2 gene expression and inhibit growth of SACC-83 cells, which indicates the potential of targeting this gene as a novel gene therapy approach for the treatment of salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma. | Xiaohua Liu Yincheng Zhang Wenhao Ren Tengteng Cao Yongjin Zhu | 2010 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2010,24,3: | 1

Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector. Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements, such as its low-energy threshold, high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors, and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors. In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable, assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition, approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected. This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter, which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle. Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better, depending on the central value, and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 12 | Synergy in magnetic Ni_(x)Co_(1)O_(y) oxides enables base-free selective oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural on loaded Au nanoparticles显示文摘The base-free aerobic oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF) to 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid(FDCA)in water is recognized as an important and sustainable upgrading process for cellulosic carbohydrates. However, selectivity control still remains a challenge. Here,we disclose that the unique synergy in magnetic Ni_(x)Co_(1)O_(y)(x=1,3 and 5) bimetallic oxides can induce reactive oxygen defects and simultaneously stabilize small-sized metallic Au nanoparticles in the Au/Ni_(x)Co_(1)O_(y)catalysts.Such catalytic features render effective adsorption and activation of O_(2),OH and C=O groups, realizing selective oxidation of HMF to FDCA.On a series of magnetic Au/Ni_(x)Co_(1)O_(y)catalysts with almost identical Au loadings(ca.0.5 wt%) and particle sizes(ca.2.7 nm),the variable Ni/Co molar ratios give rise to the tunable electron density of Au sites and synergistic effect between NiO and CoO_(y).The initial conversion rates of HMF and its derived intermediates(i.e., DFF,HMFCA and FFCA) show a volcano-like dependence on the number of oxygen defects(i.e.,O_(2)^(-)and O^(-)) and electron-rich Au0sites.The optimum Au/Ni3Co1Oycatalyst exhibits a highest productivity of FDCA(12.5 mmol_(FDCA)mol_(Au)^(-1)h^(-1)) among all the Au catalysts in the literature and achieves> 99% yield of FDCA at 120℃ and 10 bar of O_(2).In addition, this catalyst can be easily recovered by a magnet and show superior stability and reusability during six consecutive cycling tests. This work may shed a light on Au catalysis for the base-free oxidation of biomass compounds by smartly using the synergy in bimetallic oxide carriers. | Hao Zhang Yinghao Wang Qizhao Zhang Bang Gu Qinghu Tang Qiue Cao Kun Wei Wenhao Fang | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,3: | 0
Nitrogen-rich carbon nitrogen polymers for enhancing the sorption of uranyl显示文摘Nitrogen enrichment and increased nitrogen content is an effective strategy for enhancing adsorption of uranium by carbon nitride polymers.Herein,we reported the uranium absorption by using a structurally well-defined and nitrogen-rich carbon nitride polymer with C_(3)N_(5) stoichiometry for the first time.In comparison with the adsorption performance of g-C_(3)N_(4) for U(Ⅵ),the conjugation system of the material was increased by connecting the heptazine unit through the azo bridge in the structure of C_(3)N_(5),so that C_(3)N_(5) exhibited several times higher adsorption performance than that of g-C_(3)N_(4).The C_(3)N_(5) has high kinetics for uranyl ions, which can adsorb100 mg/g U(Ⅵ)in only 10 min and reach complete adsorption equilibrium in 60 min;the theoretical maximum adsorption capacity is 207 mg/g,meanwhile,the material exhibits high selectivity. The results of spectral analysis and theoretical calculations indicate that the process of uranyl ion capture by C3N5is a combination of physical and chemical adsorption, and its higher density of electronic states makes the electrostatic binding ability enhanced, which is favorable to the adsorption of uranyl ions by C_(3)N_(5).This work indicates that C_(3)N_(5) has great promise and application in the separation and enrichment of uranyl ions, and also provides a reference for the systematic investigation of the adsorption ability of nitrogenrich carbon nitrogen polymers on uranyl ions. | Zeru Wang Wenhao Li Linzhen Wu Zhuang Wang Yalan Cao Jingkai Cheng Guangyuan Chen Qian Zhao Mei Jiang Zhengguo Chen Lin Zhu Tao Duan | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,7: | 0
Preparation of Photoresponsive PAN-NH_(2)@EPESP Fiber Films with Mechanical Stability for Regulating Wettability and Micro-environment Humidity显示文摘In view of the current living micro-environment and requirements of green economy, intelligent light-responsive humidification materials have become a hot spot in intelligent polymer materials. In this work, reversible photoresponsive films with a mechanical stability and an excellent humidity adjustment performance are developed by modifying epoxy-ether-spiropyran(EPESP)on amino-nanofibers(PAN-NH2),which was produced through electrospinning.Such smart films for regulating wettability and micro-environment humidity can be reversibly manipulated by the simple switch of UV and visible light irradiation because of the unique transformation between polar ring-opened status and nonpolar ring-closed status of the spiropyran units. The effects of EPESP modification amount on the morphology, wettability, tensile strength and the ability to regulate humidity were investigated in detail. The results show that with the increase of modification amount of EPESP,both the humidity regulation and tensile strength increased;when the modification amount exceeds 7 mg,the range of regulating humidity increases slowly. | CAO Wenhao WANG Caifeng WANG Shuai ZHANG Yang ZHAO Ruisheng | 2021 | Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2021,37,3: | 0
Efficient hydrogenation of furfural to furfuryl alcohol by magnetically recoverable RuCo bimetallic catalyst显示文摘A magnetically recoverable Ru Co bimetallic catalyst was reported for the catalytic hydrogenation of furfural to furfuryl alcohol under ambient H_(2) pressure. The magnetic catalyst was prepared by H_(2) treatment of the Ru Co composite precursor from a facile one-pot hydrolysis of Co and Ru salts by NaBH_(4) solution. This catalyst can totally convert furfural to 98–100% furfuryl alcohol at 120°C under 1 bar H_(2) in isopropanol or water using only molecular H_(2) as hydrogen source. Moreover, the catalyst showed excellent stability during recycling test and can be easily and completely recovered by magnet from reaction solution. The influence of Ru/Co ratio and H_(2)-treatment temperature was studied, which were shown to be important for the structural evolution and the metal interaction in Ru Co active sites, based on the comprehensive characterizations including XRD,TGA,TEM,XPS,H_(2)-TPR,CO adsorbed DRIFT-IR.It was demonstrated that the cooperative Ru~0–Co~0 bimetallic active sites in strong interaction can significantly promote activity and selectivity of the catalyst due to an enhanced adsorption and activation of furfural and H_(2),and simultaneously created a strong magnetism in the Ru Co catalyst for simple physical separation. | Yongxing Wang Tianyu Gao Yaowei Lu Yinghao Wang Qiue Cao Wenhao Fang | 2022 | Green Energy & Environment2022,7,2: | 0
Fouling characteristics of cnidarians(Hydrozoa and Anthozoa)along the coast of China显示文摘Hydrozoans and anthozoans are an important component of a great variety of marine communities, particularly abundant and ubiquitous as part of the fouling assemblages around the globe.Several negative impacts have been associated to their occurrence on artificial substrata. In the coastal waters of China,a total of 76 species of fouling cnidarians were observed and classified.According to the occurrence frequency or biomass, the major species in the Bohai and Yellow Seas were Ectopleura marina,Bougainvillia sp.,and Eudendrium capillare;in the East China Sea Anthopleura nigrescens,Diadumene lineata, and Ectopleura crocea;and in the South China Sea Clytia sp.,Obelia sp.,and Actiniaria spp.The peak period of settlement of most species was mainly in summer and autumn. With the decrease of latitude, species number increased greatly and even cnidarian fouling was observed all year round in the East and South China Seas.Salinity was another factor aff ecting species distribution.Naturally, immersion time of substrata also directly aff ects the characteristics of cnidarians in fouling communities. | Tao YAN Mingqing LIN Wenhao CAO Shuaishuai HAN Xikun SONG | 2021 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,6: | 0
A deep learning model enabled multi-event recognition for distributed optical fiber sensing显示文摘Fiber optic sensors that utilize backscattered light offer distributed real-time measurements and have been seen tremendous improvements in sensing distance and spatial resolution over the last decades. However, these improvements in sensor capabilities lead to a significant increase in the amount of data that needs to be processed.Traditional processing schemes are no longer adequate,so the development of novel signal processing methods is critical.Phase-sensitive optical time domain reflectometry(Φ-OTDR)is now applied in various applications for multi-event recognition, and it would usually be difficult, sometimes even unrealistic to label all the acquired samples due to its real-time and seamless monitoring nature. To fully take advantage of the information contained within the large number of unlabeled samples, which were formerly not utilized and hence wasted,we propose a semi-supervised model to boost the event classification performance ofΦ-OTDR.The model extracts respectively the temporal features and the spatial bidirectional features together with a dual attention mechanism. Its classification accuracy has been improved up to 96.9%with only 1230 labeled samples. In addition, our model shows significant advantages when the number of labeled samples is reduced.Importantly, our method improves the accuracy of multi-event classification without any modification to the optical setup. | Yujiao LI Xiaomin CAO Wenhao NI Kuanglu YU | 2024 | Science China(Information Sciences)2024,67,3: | 0
