Clinical and biochemical indexes from 2019-nCoV infected patients linked to viral loads and lung injury显示文摘The outbreak of the 2019-nCoV infection began in December 2019 in Wuhan,Hubei province, and rapidly spread to many provinces in China as well as other countries. Here we report the epidemiological, clinical, laboratory, and radiological characteristics,as well as potential biomarkers for predicting disease severity in 2019-nCoV-infected patients in Shenzhen,China. All 12 cases of the 2019-nCoV-infected patients developed pneumonia and half of them developed acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).The most common laboratory abnormalities were hypoalbuminemia, lymphopenia, decreased percentage of lymphocytes (LYM) and neutrophils (NEU),elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH),and decreased CD8 count. The viral load of 2019-nCoV detected from patient respiratory tracts was positively linked to lung disease severity.ALB,LYM,LYM (%),LDH,NEU (%),and CRP were highly correlated to the acute lung injury.Age,viral load, lung injury score, and blood biochemistry indexes, albumin (ALB),CRP,LDH,LYM (%),LYM,and NEU (%),may be predictors of disease severity. Moreover, the Angiotensin Ⅱlevel in the plasma sample from 2019-nCoV infected patients was markedly elevated and linearly associated to viral load and lung injury. Our results suggest a number of potential diagnosis biomarkers and angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) drugs for potential repurposing treatment of 2019-nCoV infection. | Yingxia Liu Yang Yang Cong Zhang Fengming Huang Fuxiang Wang Jing Yuan Zhaoqin Wang Jinxiu Li Jianming Li Cheng Feng Zheng Zhang Lifei Wang Ling Peng Li Chen Yuhao Qin Dandan Zhao Shuguang Tan Lu Yin Jun Xu Congzhao Zhou Chengyu Jiang Lei Liu | 2020 | Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,3: | 157
A novel m6A reader Prrc2a controls oligodendroglial specification and myelination显示文摘While N6-methyladenosine (m6A), the most abundant internal modification in eukaryotic mRNA, is linked to cell differentiation and tissue development, the biological significance of m6A modification in mammalian glial development remains unknown. Here, we identify a novel m6A reader, Prrc2a (Proline rich coiled-coil 2A), which controls oligodendrocyte specification and myelination. Nestin-Cre-mediated knockout of Prrc2a induces significant hypomyelination, decreased lifespan, as well as locomotive and cognitive defects in a mouse model. Further analyses reveal that Prrc2a is involved in oligodendrocyte progenitor cells (OPCs) proliferation and oligodendrocyte fate determination. Accordingly, oligodendroglial-lineage specific deletion of Prrc2a causes a similar phenotype of Nestin-Cre-mediated deletion. Combining transcriptome-wide RNA-seq, m6A-RIP-seq and Prrc2a RIP-seq analysis, we find that Olig2 is a critical downstream target gene of Prrc2a in oligodendrocyte development. Furthermore, Prrc2a stabilizes Olig2 mRNA through binding to a consensus GGACU motif in the Olig2 CDS (coding sequence) in an m6A-dependent manner. Interestingly, we also find that the m6A demethylase, Fto, erases the m6A modification of Olig2 mRNA and promotes its degradation. Together, our results indicate that Prrc2a plays an important role in oligodendrocyte specification through functioning as a novel m6A reader. These findings suggest a new avenue for the development of therapeutic strategies for hypomyelination-related neurological diseases. | Rong Wu Ang Li Baofa Sun Jian-Guang Sun Jinhua Zhang Ting Zhang Yusheng Chen Yujie Xiao Yuhao Gao Qingyang Zhang Jun Ma Xin Yang Yajin Liao Wei-Yi Lai Xiaolong Qi Shukun Wang Yousheng Shu Hai-Lin Wang Fengchao Wang Yun-Gui Yang Zengqiang Yuan | 2019 | Cell Research2019,29,1: | 32
Large-scale analysis of small RNAs derived from traditional Chinese herbs in human tissues显示文摘Plant-derived microRNAs have recently been reported to function in human blood and tissues. Controversy was immediately raised due to possible contamination and the lack of large sample sizes. Here, we report thousands of unique small RNAs derived from traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) herbs found in human blood cells and mouse lung tissues using a large-scale analysis. We extracted small RNAs from decoctions of 10 TCM plants(Ban Zhi Lian, Chai Hu, Chuan Xin Lian, Di Ding Zi Jin, Huang Qin, Jin Yin Hua, Lian Qiao, Pu Gong Ying, Xia Ku Cao, and Yu Xing Cao) and obtained millions of RNA sequences from each herb. We also obtained RNA-Seq data from the blood cells of humans who consumed herbal decoctions and from the lung tissues of mice administered RNAs from herbal decoctions via oral gavage. We identified thousands of unique small RNA sequences in human blood cells and mouse lung tissues. Some of these identified small RNAs from Chuan Xin Lian and Hong Jing Tian could be mapped to the genomes of the herbs, confirming their TCM plant origin. Small RNAs derived from herbs regulate mammalian gene expression in a sequence-specific manner, and thus are a superior novel class of herbal drug components that hold great potential as oral gene-targeted therapeutics, highlighting the important role of herbgenomics in their development. | Fengming Huang Jianchao Du Zhu Liang Zhichao Xu Jiantao Xu Yan Zhao Yexuan Lin Song Mei Quan He Jindong Zhu Qiang Liu Yanxu Zhang Yuhao Qin Wei Sun Jingyuan Song Shilin Chen Chengyu Jiang | 2019 | Science China(Life Sciences)2019,62,3: | 14
Improved TQWT for marine moving target detection显示文摘Under the conditions of strong sea clutter and complex moving targets,it is extremely difficult to detect moving targets in the maritime surface. This paper proposes a new algorithm named improved tunable Q-factor wavelet transform(TQWT)for moving target detection.Firstly, this paper establishes a moving target model and sparsely compensates the Doppler migration of the moving target in the fractional Fourier transform(FRFT)domain. Then,TQWT is adopted to decompose the signal based on the discrimination between the sea clutter and the target’s oscillation characteristics, using the basis pursuit denoising(BPDN)algorithm to get the wavelet coefficients.Furthermore,an energy selection method based on the optimal distribution of sub-bands energy is proposed to sparse the coefficients and reconstruct the target. Finally, experiments on the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research(CSIR)dataset indicate the performance of the proposed method and provide the basis for subsequent target detection. | PAN Meiyan SUN Jun YANG Yuhao LI Dasheng XIE Sudao WANG Shengli CHEN Jianjun | 2020 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2020,31,3: | 6
Autonomous driving: cognitive construction and situation understanding显示文摘Autonomous vehicle is a kind of typical complex artificial intelligence system. In current research of autonomous driving, the most widely adopted technique is to use a basic framework of serial information processing and computations, which consists of four modules: perception, planning, decision-making, and control. However, this framework based on data-driven computing performs low computational efficiency, poor environmental understanding and self-learning ability. A neglected problem has long been how to understand and process environmental perception data from the sensors referring to the cognitive psychology level of the human driving process. The key to solving this problem is to construct a computing model with selective attention and self-learning ability for autonomous driving, which is supposed to possess the mechanism of memorizing, inferring and experiential updating, enabling it to cope with traffic scenarios with high noise, dynamic, and randomness. In addition, for the process of understanding traffic scenes, the efficiency of event-related mechanism is more significant than single-attribute scenario perception data. Therefore, an effective self-driving method should not be confined to the traditional computing framework of‘perception, planning, decision-making, and control’. It is necessary to explore a basic computing framework that conforms to human driver’s attention, reasoning, learning, and decision-making mechanism with regard to traffic scenarios and build an autonomous system inspired by biological intelligence. In this article, we review the basic methods and main progress in current data-driven autonomous driving technologies, deeply analyze the limitations and major problems faced by related algorithms. Then, combined with authors’ research, this study discusses how to implement a basic cognitive computing framework of self-driving with selective attention and an event-driven mechanism from the basic viewpoint of cognitive science. It further describes how to use multi-sensor and graph data with semantic information(such as traffic maps and a spatial correlation of events) to realize the associative representations of objects and drivable areas, as well as the intuitive reasoning method applied to understanding the situations in different traffic scenarios. The computing framework of autonomous driving based on a selective attention mechanism and intuitive reasoning discussed in this study can adapt to a more complex, open, and dynamic traffic environment. | Shitao CHEN Zhiqiang JIAN Yuhao HUANG Yu CHEN Zhuoli ZHOU Nanning ZHENG | 2019 | Science China(Information Sciences)2019,62,8: | 6
Elevated plasma levels of selective cytokines in COVID-19 patients reflect viral load and lung injury显示文摘A recent outbreak of pneumonia in Wuhan,China was found to be caused by a 2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV or SARS-CoV-2 or HCoV-19).We previously reported the clinical features of 12 patients with2019-n Co V infections in Shenzhen,China. To further understand the pathogenesis of COVID-19 and find better ways to monitor and treat the disease caused by 2019-n Co V,we measured the levels of 48 cytokines in the blood plasma of those 12 COVID-19 patients.Thirty-eight out of the 48 measured cytokines in the plasma of 2019-n Co V-infected patients were significantly elevated compared to healthy individuals.Seventeen cytokines were linked to 2019-nCoV loads.Fifteen cytokines, namely M-CSF,IL-10,IFN-α2,IL-17,IL-4,IP-10,IL-7,IL-1 ra,G-CSF,IL-12,IFN-γ,IL-1α,IL-2,HGF and PDGF-BB,were strongly associated with the lung-injury Murray score and could be used to predict the disease severity of2019-n Co V infections by calculating the area under the curve of the receiver-operating characteristics. Our results suggest that 2019-nCoV infections trigger extensive changes in a wide array of cytokines, some of which could be potential biomarkers of disease severity of 2019-n Co V infections. These findings will likely improve our understanding of the immunopathologic mechanisms of this emerging disease. Our results also suggest that modulators of cytokine responses may play a therapeutic role in combating the disease once the functions of these elevated cytokines have been characterized. | Yingxia Liu Cong Zhang Fengming Huang Yang Yang Fuxiang Wang Jing Yuan Zheng Zhang Yuhao Qin Xiaoyun Li Dandan Zhao Shunwang Li Shuguang Tan Zhaoqin Wang Jinxiu Li Chenguang Shen Jianming Li Ling Peng Weibo Wu Mengli Cao Li Xing Zhixiang Xu Li Chen Congzhao Zhou William J Liu Lei Liu Chengyu Jiang | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,6: | 6
Rational development of a human antibody cocktail that deploys multiple functions to confer Pan-SARS-CoVs protection显示文摘Structural principles underlying the composition and synergistic mechanisms of protective monoclonal antibody cocktails are poorly defined. Here,we exploited antibody cooperativity to develop a therapeutic antibody cocktail against SARS-CoV-2.On the basis of our previously identified humanized cross-neutralizing antibody H014,we systematically an a lyzed a fully human n aive antibody library and rationally identified a potent neutralizing antibody partner,P17,which confers effective protection in animal model.Cryo-EM studies dissected the nature of the P17 epitope, which is SARS-CoV-2 specific and distinctly different from that of HOI4.High-resolution structure of the SARS-CoV-2 spike in complex with HOM and P17,together with functional investigations revealed that in a two-antibody cocktail, synergistic neutralization was achieved by S1 shielding and conformational locking, thereby blocking receptor attachment and viral membrane fusion, conferring high potency as well as robustness against viral mutation escape.Furthermore, cluster analysis identified a hypothetical 3rd antibody partner for further reinforcing the cocktail as pan-SARS-CoVs therapeutics. | Hangping Yao Yao Sun Yong-Qiang Deng Nan Wang Yongcong Tan Na-Na Zhang Xiao-Feng Li Chao Kong Yan-Peng Xuc Qi Chen Tian-Shu Cao Hui Zhao Xintian Yan Lei Cao Zhe Lv Dandan Zhu Rui Feng Nanping Wu Wenhai Zhang Yuhao Hu Keda Chen Rong-Rong Zhang Qingyu Lv Shihui Sun Yunhua Zhou Run Yan Guan Yang Xinglu Chanjuan Liu Xiangyun Lu Linfang Cheng Hongying Qiu Xing-Yao Huang Tianhao Weng Danrong Shi Weidong Jiang Junbin Shao Lei Wang Jie Zhang Tao Jiang Guojun Lang Cheng-Feng Qinc Lanjuan Li Xiangxi Wang | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,1: | 5
A Survey of Bitmap Index Compression Algorithms for Big Data显示文摘With the growing popularity of Internet applications and the widespread use of mobile Internet, Internet traffic has maintained rapid growth over the past two decades. Internet Traffic Archival Systems(ITAS) for packets or flow records have become more and more widely used in network monitoring, network troubleshooting, and user behavior and experience analysis. Among the three key technologies in ITAS, we focus on bitmap index compression algorithm and give a detailed survey in this paper. The current state-of-the-art bitmap index encoding schemes include: BBC, WAH, PLWAH, EWAH, PWAH, CONCISE, COMPAX, VLC, DF-WAH, and VAL-WAH. Based on differences in segmentation, chunking, merge compress, and Near Identical(NI) features, we provide a thorough categorization of the state-of-the-art bitmap index compression algorithms. We also propose some new bitmap index encoding algorithms, such as SECOMPAX, ICX, MASC, and PLWAH+, and present the state diagrams for their encoding algorithms. We then evaluate their CPU and GPU implementations with a real Internet trace from CAIDA. Finally, we summarize and discuss the future direction of bitmap index compression algorithms. Beyond the application in network security and network forensic, bitmap index compression with faster bitwise-logical operations and reduced search space is widely used in analysis in genome data, geographical information system, graph databases, image retrieval, Internet of things, etc. It is expected that bitmap index compression will thrive and be prosperous again in Big Data era since 1980s. | Zhen Chen Yuhao Wen Junwei Cao Wenxun Zheng Jiahui Chang Yinjun Wu Ge Ma Mourad Hakmaoui Guodong Peng | 2015 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2015,20,1: | 5
Signaling pathways and therapeutic interventions in gastric cancer显示文摘Gastric cancer(GC)ranks fifth in global cancer diagnosis and fourth in cancer-related death.Despite tremendous progress in diagnosis and therapeutic strategies and significant improvements in patient survival, the low malignancy stage is relatively asymptomatic and many GC cases are diagnosed at advanced stages, which leads to unsatisfactory prognosis and high recurrence rates. With the recent advances in genome analysis, biomarkers have been identified that have clinical importance for GC diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.Modern molecular classifications have uncovered the vital roles that signaling pathways, including EGFR/HER2,p53,PI3K,immune checkpoint pathways, and cell adhesion signaling molecules, play in GC tumorigenesis, progression, metastasis, and therapeutic responsiveness. These biomarkers and molecular classifications open the way for more precise diagnoses and treatments for GC patients.Nevertheless, the relative significance, temporal activation, interaction with GC risk factors, and crosstalk between these signaling pathways in GC are not well understood. Here,we review the regulatory roles of signaling pathways in GC potential biomarkers, and therapeutic targets with an emphasis on recent discoveries.Current therapies, including signaling-based and immunotherapies exploited in the past decade, and the development of treatment for GC,particularly the challenges in developing precision medications, are discussed. These advances provide a direction for the integration of clinical, molecular, and genomic profiles to improve GC diagnosis and treatments. | Zi-Ning Lei Qiu-Xu Teng Qin Tian Wei Chen Yuhao Xie Kaiming Wu Qianlin Zeng Leli Zeng Yihang Pan Zhe-Sheng Chen Yulong He | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,11: | 4
Au@SiO_2 core/shell nanoparticle-decorated TiO_2 nanorod arrays for enhanced photoelectrochemical water splitting显示文摘To improve the separation efficiency of photoinduced charge carries,Au@SiO2nanoparticles(NPs)with core–shell structure were loaded onto the surface of TiO2nanorods grown on fluorine-doped tin oxide substrate by a facile two-step process. The resulted Au@SiO2/TiO2photoanodes were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy,as well as photoelectrochemical measurements.Compared with pristine TiO2nanorod film, the Au@SiO2/TiO2films showed remarkable enhancement in photoelectrochemical water splitting, with incident photonto-current conversion efficiency increasing from 31%to37%at 380 nm at 0.7 V versus saturated calomel electrode. This could be interpreted by the effect of metallic surface plasmon resonance of Au@SiO2NPs,which would generate an intense electromagnetic field with spatially nonhomogenous distributed intensity. As a result, the charge carriers generated in the near-surface region of TiO2nanorods could be easily separated. This modification method based on the effect of metallic surface plasmon resonance for promoted charge carrier separation provides a promising way to develop semiconductor photoelectrodes with high solar water-splitting performance. | Jianan Chen Miao Yu Yuhao Wang Shaohua Shen Meng Wang Liejin Guo | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,18: | 4
Downregulation of ceramide synthase 1 promotes oral cancer through endoplasmic reticulum stress显示文摘C18 ceramide plays an important role in the occurrence and development of oral squamous cell carcinoma. However, the function of ceramide synthase 1,a key enzyme in C18 ceramide synthesis,in oral squamous cell carcinoma is still unclear. The aim of our study was to investigate the relationship between ceramide synthase 1 and oral cancer. In this study,we found that the expression of ceramide synthase 1 was downregulated in oral cancer tissues and cell lines. In a mouse oral squamous cell carcinoma model induced by 4-nitroquinolin-1-oxide,ceramide synthase 1 knockout was associated with the severity of oral malignant transformation.Immunohistochemical studies showed significant upregulation of PCNA,MMP2,MMP9,and BCL2 expression and downregulation of BAX expression in the pathological hyperplastic area.In addition, ceramide synthase 1 knockdown promoted cell proliferation, migration, and invasion in vitro.Overexpression of CERS1 obtained the opposite effect.Ceramide synthase 1 knockdown caused endoplasmic reticulum stress and induced the VEGFA upregulation.Activating transcription factor 4 is responsible for ceramide synthase 1 knockdown caused VEGFA transcriptional upregulation. In addition, mild endoplasmic reticulum stress caused by ceramide synthase 1 knockdown could induce cisplatin resistance.Taken together, our study suggests that ceramide synthase 1 is downregulated in oral cancer and promotes the aggressiveness of oral squamous cell carcinoma and chemotherapeutic drug resistance. | Wen Chen Chenzhou Wu Yafei Chen Yuhao Guo Ling Qiu Zhe Liu Haibin Sun Siyu Chen Zijian An Zhuoyuan Zhang Yi Li Longjiang Li | 2021 | International Journal of Oral Science2021,13,1: | 3

The relationships among structure variables of larch forests in China显示文摘Background:Larch(Larix Mill.)forests are widely distributed in the upper parts of mountainous areas in China, playing vital roles in constructing mountain landscapes and maintaining mountain environments.Despite their importance, our knowledges on the large-scale patterns of structure characteristics and the relationships between different structure variables are unclear. In this paper,we investigated 155 plots from 11 natural larch forest types across the country to explore the biogeographic patterns of the structure characteristics and the allometric relationships between different structure variables for Chinese larch forests. Results:The structure characteristics were significantly different among larch forest types. For different larch forest types, the power function fits the relationships between tree height and diameter at breast height(DBH),average DBH and stem density, and taper and stem density well, but with different exponents among larch forest types. The power exponents of the allometric relationships between tree height and DBH for different larch forest types varied from 0.61 to 0.93(mean=0.86)by standard major axis regression(SMA),and from 0.51 to 0.78(mean=0.56)by ordinary least square regression(OLS).The 50%,75%and 95%quantile regression(QR)and OLS indicated that the average DBH and taper of the L.gmelinii forests,L.gmelinii var.principis-rupprechtii forests, and L.sibirica forests were significantly correlated with stem density. Conclusions:The relationship between tree height and DBH showed a power function relationship for all larch forest types in China, but with different exponents.Overall, stem density was negatively correlated with average DBH and taper. The Sect.Larix forests exhibited stand density effect. Our findings provide an important basis for recognizing the biogeographic patterns of structure factors and for the management of larch forests in China. | Wenjing Fang Qing Zhao Qiong Cai Anwar Eziz Guoping Chen Yuhao Feng Heng Zhang Jiangling Zhu Chengjun Ji Zhiyao Tang Jingyun Fang | 2020 | Forest Ecosystems2020,7,4: | 2
Crimped nanofiber scaffold mimicking tendon-to-bone interface for fatty-infiltrated massive rotator cuff repair显示文摘Electrospun fibers, with proven ability to promote tissue regeneration, are widely being explored for rotator cuff repairing. However, without post treatment, the microstructure of the electrospun scaffold is vastly different from that of natural extracellular matrix(ECM).Moreover, during mechanical loading, the nanofibers slip that hampers the proliferation and differentiation of migrating stem cells. Here, electrospun nanofiber scaffolds, with crimped nanofibers and welded joints to biomimic the intricate natural microstructure of tendon-to-bone insertion, were prepared using poly(ester-urethane)urea and gelatin via electrospinning and double crosslinking by a multi-bonding network densification strategy. The crimped nanofiber scaffold(CNS)features bionic tensile stress and induces chondrogenic differentiation, laying credible basis for in vivo experimentation. After repairing a rabbit massive rotator cuff tear using a CNS for 3 months, the continuous translational tendon-to-bone interface was fully regenerated, and fatty infiltration was simultaneously inhibited.Instead of micro-CT,μCT was employed to visualize the integrity and intricateness of the three-dimensional microstructure of the CNS-induced-healed tendon-to-bone interface at an ultra-high resolution of less than 1μm.This study sheds light on the correlation between nanofiber post treatment and massive rotator cuff repair and provides a general strategy for crimped nanofiber preparation and tendon-to-bone interface imaging characterization. | Liren Wang Tonghe Zhu Yuhao Kang Jianguang Zhang Juan Du Haihan Gao Sihao Chen Jia Jiang Jinzhong Zhao | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,10: | 2
DEAP1 encodes a fasciclin-like arabinogalactan protein required for male fertility in rice显示文摘Arabinogalactan proteins(AGPs)are widely distributed in plant cells.Fasciclin-like AGPs(FLAs)belong to a subclass of AGPs that play important roles in plant growth and development. However, little is known about the biological functions of rice FLA.Herein,we report the identification of a male-sterile mutant of DEFECTIVE EXINE AND APERTURE PATTERNING1(DEAP1)in rice. The deap1 mutant anthers produced aberrant pollen grains with defective exine formation and a flattened aperture annulus and exhibited slightly delayed tapetum degradation.DEAP1 encodes a plasma membrane-associated member of groupⅢplant FLAs and is specifically and temporally expressed in reproductive cells and the tapetum layer during male development.Gene expression studies revealed reduced transcript accumulation of genes related to exine formation, aperture patterning, and tapetum development in deap1 mutants.Moreover,DEAP1 may interact with two rice D6 PROTEIN KINASE-LIKE3 s(OsD6PKL3s),homologs of a known Arabidopsis aperture protein,to affect rice pollen aperture development. Our findings suggested that DEAP1 is involved in male reproductive development and may affect exine formation and aperture patterning, thereby providing new insights into the molecular functions of plant FLAs in male fertility. | Dan Zhou Ting Zou Kaixuan Zhang Pingping Xiong Fuxing Zhou Hao Chen Gongwen Li Kaiyou Zheng Yuhao Han Kun Peng Xu Zhang Shangyu Yang Qiming Deng Shiquan Wang Jun Zhu Yueyang Liang Changhui Sun Xiumei Yu Huainian Liu Lingxia Wang Ping Li Shuangcheng Li | 2022 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,7: | 2
Enhanced ionic diffusion interface in hierarchical metal-organic framework@layered double hydroxide for high-performance hybrid supercapacitors显示文摘Layered double hydroxides(LDHs)with abundant accessible active sites are promising electrode materials for hybrid supercapacitor(HSC)due to their ultrahigh theoretical capacitances. However, the structural agglomeration of LDH leads to poor rate capability and durability.Herein,we construct a diffusion-controlled interface in hierarchical architecture of metal-organic framework(MOF)HKUST-1@cobalt-nickel LDH(denoted as HKUST-1@CoNiLDH)through an in situ etching/electro-deposition strategy. The rapid charge transfer and ionic diffusion in HKUST-1@CoNiLDH deliver a remarkable specific capacity of 297.23 mAh·g^(−1) at 1 A·g^(−1),superior to mostly reported LDH-based electrodes.More importantly, the as-prepared HKUST-1@CoNiLDH//activated carbon HSC exhibit a high energy density of 39.8 Wh·kg^(−1) at a power density of 799.9 W·kg^(−1) with an outstanding capacitance retention of 90%after 5,000 charge–discharge cycles. The in-depth understanding of the ionic diffusion among the MOF/LDH interfaces will greatly promote the further development of designing and synthesizing high performance energy conversion and storage devices. | Yanan Zhang Junlei Chen Chenyang Su Keyao Chen Huabin Zhang Yuhao Yang Wenhuan Huang | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,10: | 2

Sulfur vs. tellurium: the heteroatom effects on the nonfullerene acceptors显示文摘The effect of chalcogen heteroatom variation on donor materials has been systematically investigated. However, this effect on acceptors has rarely been explored. Herein, nonfullerene acceptors BFPSP and BFPTP were reported by simply changing the chalcogen atoms from S to Te. The differences between BFPSP and BFPTP in light absorption, energy levels, excited-state lifetimes, energy loss, charge mobilities, morphology, and photovoltaic properties were systematically investigated to understand the heteroatom effects. More importantly, the electroluminescence spectra, external quantum efficiency of photovoltaics and TDDFTcalculations revealed that the triplet excited state(T1) in energy of BFPTP equals to the charge transfer(CT) state in PBDBT:BFPTP, which allows T1 excitons, generated by intersystem crossing, to split into free charges to contribute to the efficiency. This contribution provides a strategy for tuning the photophysical properties of nonfullerene acceptors and designing high performance triplet materials for OSCs. | Lei Yang Linqing Qin Yunxiao Xu Huotian Zhang Lei Lv Kepeng Chen Xinyu Sui Yangguang Zhong Yuan Guo Feng Gao Jianzhang Zhao Yuhao Li Xinfeng Liu Yuanping Yi Xinhui Lu Aidong Peng Hui Huang | 2019 | Science China Chemistry2019,62,7: | 1
