| 2 | Endostatin enhances antitumor effect of tumor antigen-pulsed dendritic cell therapy in mouse xenograft model of lung carcinoma显示文摘Objective: To investigate the antitumor effect of endostatin combined with tumor antigen-pulsed dendritic cell(DC)-T cell therapy on lung cancer.Methods: Transplanted Lewis lung cancer(LLC) models of C57BL/6 mice were established by subcutaneous injection of LLC cells in left extremity axillary. Tumor antigen-pulsed DC-T cells from spleen cells and bone of mice were cultured in vitro. Tumor-bearing mice were randomly divided into three groups, including DCT+endostatin group, DC-T group, and phosphate-buffered saline(PBS) control group. Microvessel density(MVD) of tumor tissue in tumor-bearing mice was determined by immunohistochemistry(IHC). The expressions of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α) were determined by Western blotting and IHC staining. The proportions of CD8+ T cells, mature dendritic cells(m DC), tumor-associated macrophages [TAM(M1/M2)], and myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSC) in suspended cells of tumor tissue were determined by flow cytometry. The expressions of interleukin(IL)-6, IL-10, IL-17, transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β) and interferon-γ(IFN-γ) in suspended cells of tumor tissue were detected by enzyme-linked immune sorbent assay(ELISA).Results: DC-T cells combined with endostatin remarkably suppressed tumor growth. MVD of mice in DCT+endostatin group was significantly lower than that of the control group and DC-T monotherapy group. The expressions of VEGF, IL-6 and IL-17 in tumors were markedly decreased, but IFN-γ and HIF-1α increased after treating with DC-T cells combined with endostatin, compared to control group and DC-T group. In the DCT+endostatin group, the proportions of MDSC and TAM(M2 type) were significantly decreased, m DC and TAM(M1 type) were up-regulated, and CD8+ T cells were recruited to infiltrate tumors, in contrast to PBS control and DC-T monotherapy. | 3 | Risk Factors for Age-Related Macular Degeneration in Elderly Chinese Population in Shenyang of China显示文摘Objective The paper aims to evaluate the risk factors for age‐related macular degeneration (AMD) in elderly Chinese population in Shenyang,a northeast city of China.Methods A case‐control study was conducted to investigate the risk factors for the prevalence of AMD.Ninety three AMD patients diagnosed by a complete ophthalmic examination were recruited as cases from the outpatient departments of two eye hospitals in Shenyang,while 108 normal subjects of similar age and sex were recruited as controls.A questionnaire was administered among both cases and controls.Results AMD patients aged 60 years and older accounted for 75.3%.There were significantly higher educational levels,shorter smoking history,less sunlight exposure and cataract,and higher proportion of antioxidants intake in controls than in AMD patients.The frequency of intake of fruits,legumes,fish and shrimps was significantly higher in controls than in AMD patients.In a binary logistic regression analysis,smoking and cataract were the risk factors for AMD (OR:4.44,95% CI:2.27‐8.69;OR:4.47,95% CI:2.26‐8.85 respectively).The high educational background was a protective factor for AMD (OR:0.761,95% CI:0.51‐0.98).Conclusion A low educational background,smoking and cataract are associated with a higher prevalence of AMD. | JIA LiHong SHEN XueLi FAN Rui SUN Yan PAN XingYue YANH HongMei LIU Lu | 2011 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,5: | 4 |
| 4 | First results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from CDEX-1 experiment显示文摘We report the first results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from stage one of the China dark-matter experiment(CDEX).A p-type point-contact high-purity germanium detector with a mass of 994 g has been installed to detect neutrinoless double beta decay events, as well as to directly detect dark matter particles. An exposure of 304 kg d has been analyzed over a wide spectral band from 500 keV to 3 MeV. The average event rate obtained was about 0.012 counts per keV per kg per day over the 2.039 MeV energy range. The half-life of ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay derived based on this result is T^(0ν)1/2>6.4×10^(22) yr(90% C.L.). | 6 | Effects of Gua Sha therapy on weightlifting training: a randomized trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of Gua Sha therapy on weightlifting training.METHODS: The sample size was calculated by conducting a pilot study. A total of 44 male weightlifters were randomly assigned to either the Gua Sha group(n = 15), sham scraping group(n = 14), or control group(n = 14). The participants in the Gua Sha group and sham scraping group received 16 sessions of Gua Sha therapy during normal weightlifting training for 8 weeks. No treatment was applied to participants in the control group. The effectiveness of Gua Sha therapy was evaluated by measuring weightlifting ability, the rating of perceived exertion(RPE) of snatch and clean and jerk(85% of1 repetition maximum), and creatinine kinase(CK),blood urea nitrogen(BUN), and immunoglobulin A levels.RESULTS: Gua Sha therapy treatment significantly increased weightlifting ability in participants in the Gua Sha group(P < 0.01). The RPE values of snatch and clean and jerk were significantly lower in the Gua Sha group and sham scraping groups compared with the control group(P < 0.05). CK levels were lower and immunoglobulin A levels were significantly higher in the Gua Sha group compared with sham scraping group and control group(both P < 0.05). BUN levels tended to be reduced only in the Gua Sha group. A close correlation between CK levels and the RPE was found in the Gua Sha group.CONCLUSION: Gua Sha therapy can facilitate weightlifting ability, reduce the RPE, and inhibit muscle injury by promoting recovery from fatigue caused by normal weightlifting training. | 15 | Parameter matching and experiment of the combined cyclone separation and cylinder sieve cleaning system for rape combine harvester显示文摘Existing rape combine harvester with a cyclone separation cleaning device has the challenge that the loss rate and the cleaning rate increase and decrease simultaneously.A cleaning process route was proposed,which involves the cyclone separation cleaning device removing light and tiny impurities,and the cylinder sieve device removing coarse and long impurities such as pod shells and short stems.A novel cleaning system combining the cyclone separation cleaning device and cylinder sieve cleaning devices was designed.The ranges of the structure and operation parameters for each component were analyzed based on kinematics and dynamic analysis.A four-factor five-level quadratic orthogonal test was carried out,in which the loss rate and cleaning rate were taken as the evaluation indexes.The velocity at the suction port,the rotation speed of the cylinder sieve,the screw pitch of the spiral blade and the diameter of the sieve hole were taken as the influencing factors.The orthogonal test results showed that the cleaning system performed best at a rotation speed of the winnower is 600 r/min,an airflow velocity at the suction port is 18.25 m/s,a rotation speed of the cylinder sieve is 87 r/min,a screw pitch of the spiral blade is 440 mm and a diameter of the sieve hole is 4.48 mm.At this time,the loss rate of the cleaning system is 3.22%,and the cleaning rate is 95.67%.Compared to the conventional cyclone separation cleaning device,the loss rate is reduced by 2.17%and the cleaning rate is increased by 1.05%.This study can provide a reference for the optimal cleaning system design for rape combine harvesters. | Jiacheng Yuan Qingxi Liao Xingyu Wan Jia Yang Caixia Shu | 2024 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2024,17,1: | 0 |
| 16 | Assessment of immune responses and intestinal flora in BALB/c mice model of wheat food allergy via different sensitization methods显示文摘Increasing incidences showed that food allergies have attracted more and more attention from researchers.BALB/c mice were sensitized with wheat gluten combined with aluminum hydroxide adjuvant via intraperitoneal injection,transdermal sensitization,and oral gavage sensitization route.Results showed that all the three sensitization methods could induce allergic symptoms;increase the serum antibody(total immunoglobulin E(IgE),specific IgE,IgG,IgA)and histamine content;promote the secretion of Th2 cytokines(interleukin(IL)-4,IL-5,IL-13)and inflammatory factors(IL-6,IL-17 A,IL-10);and inhibit the production of Th1 cytokines(IFN-γ,IL-2).However,the allergic symptoms of mice sensitized by intraperitoneal injection were the most obvious among the three models.The level of serum antibodies in intraperitoneal injection group was significantly higher than control.Subsequently,16 S rRNA sequencing technology was used to analyze the intestinal flora of mice.The results showed that the abundance of Firmicutes in the wheat protein sensitized group was lower than that in the normal group,while the abundance of Bacteroidetes was higher,and Lactobacillus was the difference marker in normal group.Bacterial species diversity analysis showed that the species richness and diversity of intestinal flora in mice were decreased,the difference between mice induced by intraperitoneal injection and normal control group mice was the most significant.Taken together,these results show that among three sensitization methods used to build a mouse model with aluminum hydroxide as adjuvant,intraperitoneal injection is the comparably best way to build a mouse sensitization mode. | Chenglong Liu Chen Chen Xingyu Yan Shimin Gu Xin Jia Wenhui Fu Xiao Meng Wentong Xue | 2023 | Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,3: | 0 |

| 19 | Experimental review of the T(1S,2S,3S)physics at e^(+)e^(-) colliders and the LHC显示文摘The three lowest-lying r states,ie,r(1S),T(2S),and r(35),composed of b pairs and below the BB threshold,provide a good platform for the researches of hadronic physics and physics beyond the Standard Model.They can be produced directly in ete--colliding experiments,such as CLEO,Babar,and Belle,with low continuum backgrounds.In these experiments,many measurements of the exclusive r(1S)and r(2S)decays into light hadrons,which shed light on the'80%rule'for the Okubo-Zweig-lizuka suppressed decays in the bottomonium sector,were carried out.Meanwhile,many studies of the charmonium and bottomonium productions in r(1S,2S,3S)decays were performed,to distinguish different Quantum Chromodynamics(QCD)models.Besides,exotic states and new physics were also extensively explored in r(1S,2S,3S)decays at CLEO,BaBar,and Bell.The r(1S,2S,3S)states can also be produced in p collisions and in ollisions involving heavy ions.The precision measurements of their cross sections and polarizations at the large hadron collider(LHC),especially in the CMS,ATLAS,and LHCb experiments,help to understand r production mechanisms in Pp collisions.The observation of the sequential r suppession in heavy ion collisions at CMS,LHCb,and ALICE is of great importance for verifying the quark-gluon plasma predicted by QCD.In this article,we review the experimental results on T(1S,2S,3S)at e+e-colliders and the LHC,and summarize their prospects at Belle II and the LHC. | Sen Jia Xingyu Zhou Chengping Shen | 2020 | Frontiers of physics2020,15,6: | 0 |
| 20 | Effects of working parameters on the performance of cyclone separator for rapeseed combine harvester based on CFD显示文摘Existing development for cyclone separation cleaning components of the rapeseed combine harvester,which employs the suspending airflow to separate the rapeseeds from the materials other than grain(MOG),has the challenge to figure out the optimal working parameters,highlighting a need for exploration of the invisible airflow based on Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD).The airflow status was mainly affected by the air velocities of the inlet,and the outlet for the MOG.The single factor and response surface experiments were carried out.It could be found that the inlet and MOG outlet velocities affected the air velocities through the change in the air quantity.Furthermore,the mathematical model of the relationship between the air velocities inside the cyclone and the working parameters was built,and the optimal combination of working parameters was obtained by multi-objective optimization.The inlet and outlet velocities of the optimal combination were 4.25 m/s and 29.87 m/s,respectively.Under this condition,the cleaning ratio and loss ratio of the cleaning device was 94.62%and 5.39%,respectively,as validated by the field experiment.The findings provide references for the improvement of cleaning systems for rapeseed combine harvesters. | Xingyu Wan Jiacheng Yuan Jia Yang Yitao Liao Qingxi Liao | 2023 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,1: | 0 |
