| 9 | Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. | 10 | Efficacy and safety of trastuzumab combined with chemotherapy for first-line treatment and beyond progression of HER2-overexpressing advanced breast cancer显示文摘Objective: To observe the efficacy and safety of trastuzumab combined with chemotherapy in patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-overexpressing advanced breast cancer.Methods: A total of 90 patients with HER2-overexpressing advanced breast cancer were enrolled in this study. All patients were diagnosed with ductal invasive breast cancer by pathological analysis, and were aged between 31–73 years with a median of 51 years. HER2-positivity was defined as 3(+) staining in immunochemistry or amplification of fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH, ratio ≥2.0). Trastuzumab was administered in combination with chemotherapy as first-line treatment and beyond progression as a secondline, third-line, and above treatment in 90, 34, 14, and 6 patients, respectively. The chemotherapy regimen was given according to normal clinical practice. The response rate was evaluated every two cycles, and the primary endpoints were progression-free survival(PFS) and overall survival(OS). Survival curves were estimated by using Kaplan-Meier graphs and were compared by using log-rank test statistics. Multivariate analysis was done using Cox's proportional hazards regression model, and the level of significance was P<0.05.Results: All 90 patients received at least one dose of trastuzumab, and efficacy could be evaluated in 85 patients. The median follow-up was 50 months. In total, 72(80.00%) patients had visceral metastasis, and 43(47.78%) patients had progressed after one or more extensive chemotherapy regimens for metastatic diseases. The median PFS for first-line trastuzumab was 10 months(range, 2–59 months), and the median OS after metastasis or initially local advanced disease was 22 months(range, 2–116 months).Conclusions: Trastuzumab combined with chemotherapy was active and well-tolerated as a first-line treatment and even beyond progression in HER2-overexpressing advanced breast cancer as a second-line or third-line treatment. | 13 | Annual variations of black carbon over the Yangtze River Delta from 2015 to 2018显示文摘In this study,the black carbon (BC) measurements in the atmosphere of Nanjing,China were continuously conducted from 2015 to 2018 using a Model AE-33 aethalometer.By combining dataset of PM_(2.5),PM_(10),CO,NO_2,SO_2,O_3 and meteorological parameters,the temporal variations and the source apportionment of BC were given in this study.The results showed that the PM_(2.5) mass concentrations decreased in Nanjing,with an average annual rate of variation of 6.50μg/(m^3·year).Differently,the annual average concentrations of BC increased with an average annual variation rate of 214.71 ng/(m^3·year).The seasonal variations showed the pattern of BC mass concentrations in winter>autumn>spring>summer.The diurnal variations of BC mass concentrations showed a double-peak in all four seasons.The first peak occurred at approximately 7:00 in spring,summer and autumn and around 8:00 in winter.The second peak took place after 18:00.The average AAE (absorption ?ngstr?m exponent) was 1.26 with a maximum of 1.35 during wintertime and the lowest(1.12) during summertime.In addition,the AAE was smaller in the daytime than that at night,with a minimum occurring between 13:00 and 14:00.BC and visibility show a good power-function relationship at different humidity levels.The average values of the visibility thresholds of the BC mass concentrations in spring,summer,autumn and winter were 1.326,5.522,1.340 and 0.708μg/m^3,respectively.The greater the relative humidity,the smaller the visibility threshold for the BC mass concentrations was. | Yue Tan Honglei Wang Shuangshuang Shi Lijuan Shen Chen Zhang Bin Zhu Song Guo zhijun Wu Ziyi Song Yan Yin Ankang Liu | 2020 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,10: | 8 |

| 16 | A fundamental theorem for eco-environmental surface modelling and its applications显示文摘We propose a fundamental theorem for eco-environmental surface modelling(FTEEM) in order to apply it into the fields of ecology and environmental science more easily after the fundamental theorem for Earth’s surface system modeling(FTESM). The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH) region is taken as a case area to conduct empirical studies of algorithms for spatial upscaling, spatial downscaling, spatial interpolation, data fusion and model-data assimilation, which are based on high accuracy surface modelling(HASM), corresponding with corollaries of FTEEM. The case studies demonstrate how eco-environmental surface modelling is substantially improved when both extrinsic and intrinsic information are used along with an appropriate method of HASM. Compared with classic algorithms, the HASM-based algorithm for spatial upscaling reduced the root-meansquare error of the BTH elevation surface by 9 m. The HASM-based algorithm for spatial downscaling reduced the relative error of future scenarios of annual mean temperature by 16%. The HASM-based algorithm for spatial interpolation reduced the relative error of change trend of annual mean precipitation by 0.2%. The HASM-based algorithm for data fusion reduced the relative error of change trend of annual mean temperature by 70%. The HASM-based algorithm for model-data assimilation reduced the relative error of carbon stocks by 40%. | 18 | Effectiveness and Safety Evaluation of Qixiong Zhongzi Decoction (芪芎种子汤) in Idiopathic Asthenozoospermia Treatment:A Randomized Controlled Trial显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the clinical effectiveness and safety of the Chinese medicine(CM)Qixiong Zhongzi Decoction(芪芎种子汤,QZD)in the treatment of patients with idiopathic asthenozoospermia.Methods:A total number of 66 patients with idiopathic asthenozoospermia were included and randomly divided into treatment and control groups by SAS-generated code from January 2015 to August 2016,33 patients in each group.Patients in the treatment group were administered with 150 m L of QZD twice a day,whereas those in the control group were given 1 g of levocarnitine oral liquid twice a day.The two groups received the indicated medication for 12 weeks and were then followed up for 4 weeks.The primary outcome was sperm motility,and the secondary therapeutic indices were sperm volume,density,pregnancy probability,and CM syndrome score.The comparison between groups was carried out at 4,8 and 12 weeks,respectively.The safety was determined before and after treatment.Results:(1)Drop-off:5 cases(7.58%)were lost after treatment(2 from the treatment group and 3 from the control group).(2)Primary outcomes:after 8-and 12-week treatment,the progressive sperms in the two groups were significantly higher than the baseline(all P<0.05);however,the treatment group showed greater improvement compared with the control group at 12-week treatment(22.7%±9.0%vs.14.1%±8.8%,P<0.05).The increasement of non-progressive grade sperms at both groups was observed at 8-and 12-week treatment with statistical difference(all P<0.05),however,the treatment group showed remarkable improvement compared with the control group at 12-week treatment(38.7%±14.1%vs.26.2%±15.4%,P<0.05).(3)Secondary outcomes:no significant statistical differences were found in semen volume and density(4,8,and 12-week treatment)and pregnancy probability of patients’wives(12-week treatment)between two groups(all P>0.05),however,the CM syndrome score of the treatment group significantly declined compared with baseline level at each time points(all P<0.05).(4)Safety:no obvious side reactions were found during the treatment in both groups.Conclusions:QZD could improve the progressive and non-progressive grade sperm in the treatment of idiopathic asthenozoospermia.It is safe with no obvious side effects. | WANG Fu GAO Qing-he GENG Qiang HAN Qiang ZHAO Jia-you YU Guo-jin ZHANG Ji-wei YAN Bin GUO Jun SONG Chun-sheng | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2020,26,2: | 6 |

Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. | 20 | Prognostic Value of NT-proBNP in Stable Coronary Artery Disease in Chinese Patients after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in the Drug-eluting Stent Era显示文摘Objective The predictive value of N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP) in patients with stable coronary artery disease(SCAD) in the drug-eluting stent era is not yet clear. We aimed to evaluate the prognostic value of NT-proBNP in SCAD patients after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI). Methods We examined 4,293 consecutive SCAD patients who underwent PCI between January 2013 and December 2013 in Fuwai Hospital, China. The primary endpoint was all-cause death. NT-proBNP levels were measured before PCI using Elisa kits(Biomedica, Austria). The indication for PCI was based on the degree of coronary stenosis and evidence of ischemia. Results Among 3,187 SCAD patients with NT-proBNP data, after a 2-year follow-up, NT-proBNP levels were predictive for all-cause death in the SCAD population [area under the receiver operating characteristic curve, 0.768; 95% confidence interval(CI), 0.687-0.849; P < 0.001]. At the optimum cutoff point of 732 pg/mL, the sensitivity and specificity of death was 75.0% and 72.3%, respectively. In a multivariable Cox regression model, the death hazard ratio was 6.43(95% CI, 2.99-13.82; P < 0.001) for patients with NT-proBNP levels ≥ 732 pg/mL, compared with < 732 pg/mL.
